Outstanding staff
Excellent!
A wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend! The location is beautiful and not too far from Whitehorse.
Great stay
Everything about this place is amazing. No cell service but wifi works great.
This is a very quiet peaceful haven. Our room was clean and comfortable and the owners and staff are very kind. Nice to have a lovely hot tub to star gaze in.
Probably better than the tour packages
Amazing stay for a couple! too bad we didn't see the Aurora during our stay (cloudy) but if we would plan another trip - this would be the ideal spot. It has the viewing tour + hotel in 1
Absolutely lovely! We were in cabin 6. Cozy. Amazing bed. Great view. Dinner was to die for. Super friendly staff. Will return in a heartbeat.
Beautiful place with lots of things to do. Hot tub, outdoor fire pit, beautiful area to walk around.
I loved the whole place - we stayed in the yurt, it was super warm, and we got to see the most beautiful northern lights from the hot tub. The hosts were amazing, and the breakfast they made was delicious. I loved meeting other people who were travelling too.
Breakfast was actually cooked and served for us. Unique experience and we loved it.
It’s more a BnB rather than something else : it should be clearly indicated
We had such a great experience! The owner was wonderful, a tasty breakfast each morning, a jacuzzi, and being surrounded in nature was priceless!
Excellent service and fancy stuff
Excellent stay. And the breakfast is not like a continental one. It is fancy
Quiet and relaxing
Lovely property and hosts.
Beautiful property with an amazing host and fabulous breakfasts and dinner
Amazing location and amazing staff!! Beautiful place to stay!
There is an issue with directions on google maps. It took us down this wooded dirt road. Then it said, “you are st your destination. Park your car and walk. We thought we were being bamboozled! We had to walk into the woods to get Phone reception. I called them and he gave me the correct directions.
Great overnight stay in large, sunny room. We tried the hot tub and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
We stayed in Yurt. Was great night. Staff great.
A hidden gem. Peaceful location, comfortable bed, amazing dinner, and friendly staff. Planning to return on our way back down the highway.
A wonderful place to stay south of Whitehorse
Well designed accommodation, extremely tranquil location, very clean and pleasant owner and staff. The evening meal wasn't available the night we stayed which meant we had to eat dinner in Whitehorse before we arrived or drive 15 minutes to Carcross for a limited dining option. Breakfast was included with a single serving time and was served without being announced and although we were just finishing serving ourselves coffee in the adjacent kitchen the eggs were cold. Guest kitchen access was great where you could make hot drinks anytime after check in. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
It was a lovely, calm, clean and well equipped experience for all of our needs. Loved the chickens and goats. Food was excellent and I appreciated the decaf coffee they made for me
These young people were so nice and work hard to provide a nice accommodation for guests. Family style breakfast was very nice. Was able to interact with other guests in the morning. Highly recommend it.
Loved every bit of it
A hidden gem
This accommodation is stunning! Easily accessible from the main road but set back enough so you wouldn’t know the road was there. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with stunning views of the mountains. There is a lovely track through the property that serves as the perfect morning walk before sitting down to a very substantial breakfast. There is also a sitting room and small library in the main lodge. Sylvain was a friendly and welcoming host with a wealth of knowledge about the best spots to visit. The eco-sustainable qualities of the lodge are excellent.
Unique, Friendly lodging with exceptional food!
This is a unique lodging experience. Rooms are minimalist, but very functional and beds were comfortable. Could have used better black-out shades to block out the bright summer sun so early in the morning. Staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast we had was exceptional!! Fun way to pay for drinks with chips you place in your own little glass as you take them from the fridge. Games to play as well. Walked around property on a short trail as well.
Highly recommend this lovely place! Beautiful setting, nice amenities, and friendly staff. Great location to visit Carcross and not too far from Whitehorse.
Very quiet facility. Staff very nice and accommodating
Beautiful mountain views and friendly yet inobtrusive hosts.
Relaxant et amusant
Une sortie en famille parfaite. La nourriture était excellente, le hot tub était relaxant, l’espace commun était sympathique et les hôtes étaient à l’écoute de nos besoins. Nous allons y retourner assurément.
A great place to stay
Boreale” Ranch was only an overnight stay and it was the best stay of the all the place I’ve traveled to in the past 3 years . Marsha is the best. I felt like this was my home away from home . Great direction, perfect surroundings, very clean , peaceful and inviting . I was in room #4 which had a great balcony with a beautiful view . Tucked away off the highway , quiet & serene . I chose to have dinner at Boreale’ Ranch as town was about 30 minutes way and it was excellent. Appetizers, a main course which included wine along with a dessert which was absolutely perfect . The next morning breakfast was served which again was excellent.Next time passing through Whitehorse this we’ll be our stop . They have a wonderful walking / biking trail that goes to one of the many lakes in region along with a great out hot tub to relax in . They also have a great selection of tea’s , coffee available at all time (included) and assorted beverages ( adult type ) available to purchase, all at very reasonable priced .
Beautiful property with hot tub and outdoor seating. Excellent breakfast and dinner
I'd give Boreale Ranch high ratings in every area. It is very clean, the common areas are welcoming, there is a nice trail around the property for our legs stiff from the car, the coffee and tea are locally made, and best of all, it includes a friendly greeting from the official ranch dog, who was happy to make us less homesick for our own pooch. I'd suggest a larger sign on the highway to make it easier to find, but otherwise, I'd rank this ranch as a stellar stop.
Our room was beautiful and modern with all the comforts and great views of the area.
Great place to stay, highlight of the trip
if you're looking for city stuffs this isn't for you. but if you're looking for peace & quiet, a wonderful staff, fantastic food, a friendly dog, and a location in the middle of a forest... this is it. 10/10 and would definitely do again! we will never forgot this place!
Wonderful place to refresh after 2 weeks of travel. Staff was outstanding, very warm and friendly. Accommodations were wonderful. Newer, very clean. There is a common area with couches and a library to hang out if you are inclined. Well done Boreale Ranch!
Absolutely beautiful ranch! Our room and the common areas are just amazing-great views. The staff are very nice, helpful and just terrific. Breakfast was delicious also. Thank you.
Marsha and Sylvain are really nice, they take care about you like a family
When you first book this property you don’t realize it's kinda an air bnb... rooms out in the country, when you pull up it's a house with kids playing, goats and lots of where do I go from here. Lol, in the end, my room was nice and away from the house and very very quiet. There was floor heating in part of my room and it stayed cozy warm...shower was awesome, they offer shampoo and conditioner which is nice...
Great property about 30-40 min from Whitehorse but well worth the stay. Owners are incredibly accomodating, communicate often and take service to the next level. The common areas in the ranch are great for relaxing and interacting with other guests and if you have to leave before regular breakfast then they'll pack something to go. Hang out by the fire, hot tub or on your porch and check out the stars. Well worth it!
One of the best hotel experiences ever!
A real jewel of a hotel. Very welcoming and friendly owners. Fantastic room, common areas and grounds around the property. Saw the Aurora Borealis from the purpose built viewing deck behind the property. The included breakfast was also first class.
Heaven on Earth—especially after a long motorcycle ride. Top notch lodging (I stayed in one of the suites), common areas, customer service, meals...all surrounded by pristine nature around and (if you're lucky) northern lights (or stars) above. And let ranch dog Snuggs lead you on a walk through the woods! It's not just a great place to stay, it has a home away from home vibe, because the team and ranch is warm and thoughtful at every turn. Absolutely hope to return!
Everything was excellent. Lodge, room and grounds clean and welcoming. Staff lovely. Meal superb. Great last memory of the Yukon. Highly recommend to others.
Absolutely beautiful setting and suite. Loves hot tubbing under the stars, walking trail and amazing food. A perfect setting, friendly staff, would love to go back!
Beautiful area, spotlessly clean, lots of amenities, and a friendly owner and staff! Highly recommend.
Very nice property with beautiful views. They were very accommodating of our late check in. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were nice and rooms were very clean. Would stay again
Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Place was immaculate and the location was gorgeous. Our one disappointment was that the dinner we were looking forward to as advertised on the website is "We incorporate traditional northern foods into our meals, so our guests get the pleasure of tasting wild cranberries, elk, salmon and melt in your mouth Arctic char" ended up being chicken thighs. While the whole meal was delicious and more than enough food for the group of us, it certainly wasn't what we expected. I understand that there are seasons and availability that play into eating local but we did feel let down. However that being said I would absolutely return and even at 45$ the meal is still a great deal considering you are in the Yukon. Would recommend!
