Triple room was great, spacious layout. Shower cubicle glass rim might need resealing.. water appearing on floor. Staff were very welcoming & helpful.
The hotel was a perfect place to stay for our trip to Rome. Renovated to a high standard, lovely decor and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. We felt safe and happy to stay here and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again, it’s a short walk to the Vatican City and not much further into the centre to the Trevi fountain etc. Thanks again!
Very nice an good
Perfect
Perfect stay. Super helpful staff. Lovely clean, spacious rooms.
This was a great stay. The staff was kind and helpful, especially by giving directions and tips for getting around Rome. Plus it was near the Vatican and great restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.
Walking distance to Vatican. Good dining options close by and also has a cheap wash and dry laundry service close to it.
Walking distance from the Vatican on a not so busy area
Great hotel! Clean and tidy room, quiet area surrounding the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in helping us with checking in and calling a taxi. Close to the Vatican city so it was within walking distance, maybe 15 minutes or so!
Not as advertised.
The area around the property is nice, but the walk to the train station passes some abandoned buildings with graffiti and unkempt walkways. A longer alternative route is nicer. The hotel is cute and nice and clean, and felt safe. Some lights were out in the bathroom and some outlets in the room did not work. The bed was very firm and the pillows were thin. Walking distance to Trastevere was longer than expected due to hills and roads not walkable.
This was a very friendly staff who offered amazing help and advice. Nothing was too much trouble and this helped as it was our first trip to Athens
Decor is very pretty
Great hotel on the Vatican side of rome.
Great hotel, about 5 minutes from the Vatican. Road is great for restaurants that’s are not too touristy. The area is around 50 minute walk the colleagues and old town. Able to access the hotel via public transport. Hotel in a gated community which makes you feel safe. Like anywhere there is unfortunately homeless people around partially around the train station Hotel staff friendly. Breakfast ok.
Good area and parking spot availability
From the beginning the staff was very helpful and they take care of you like the family all the associates are very good at what they do explain where to go when the order of the taxis and everything they take care of you very well I recommend this property
The rooms and bathrooms are big but...the bathroom has NO shelf. So you hàve to put everything on the floor. There is no even a place to put the soap. Similarly, the nightstands are fancy but miniscule. The room has a small table but so crowded that it is useless. It is a pity because with minimal additions this hotel would become a 10
Fantastic staff and very helpful. The location is good and very safe. Close to the public transport
They had my room prepared ealier and I could check in upon arrival which was very convenient
Friendly staff
The hotel is either brand new or newly decorated, as decor was immaculate. It's situated at the top of a gated road so felt secure, and caught a bit more of a breeze than one at street level. Staff unfailingly kind and helpful. Sustainable toiletries in bathroom and great shower (powerful). 400yd walk to nearest overland train station - this is not part of the metro system though, so if you buy a weekly Metrocard, you still need to buy a 1-stop ticket each time to get onto the Metro system at station Valle Aurelia. Other than that, brilliant hotel (and the breakfasts are really nice too).
The hotel room was clean and well presented. When we arrived a member of staff demonstrated fantastic upside down writing skills and provided recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The room was a little small compared to others we've stayed in, and we could also here the room next door's bathroom which wasn't the nicest. That being said, everything else was excellent. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was quick and effective, shower was lovely, even the provided toiletries were sustainable and excellent quality.
We booked a triple room for 4 nights. The room was very spacious with a private balcony. It's clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The location was great. It's minutes walk from bus stop, train station , and St Peter's Basilica. Highly recommended.
We loved our stay here. Very close to Vatican. The family room was great. Had very nice balcony with St.Peter Basilica view. All the staff was so friendly!
Great location, close to Vatican and bus lines but also very quiet. We were on a family trip and had 2 adjoining rooms which worked very well.
Bloom Hotel is an older hotel in a peculiar area of Rome. Though it is a short walk to St. Peter's, it is not in an area that is very walkable. The nearby market is poorly stocked, restaurants are limited. The room was clean but had a scent that was unpleasant and caused breathing difficulty for the sensitive members of our group.
We booked a family room, which was essentially two rooms connected together. Each room had its own bathroom and its own patio. Although it was advertised that we would have king beds I believe we actually both had queen beds. One of the bathrooms was not remodeled and was very small while the other room had a fully remodeled bathroom, that was huge. Unfortunately, the newly remodeled bathroom had some leakage issues. There was no shower door which essentially allowed water to leak out onto the tile. After two people would shower the floor would start to smell bad like moldy water. That was the only downside, otherwise the hotel was lovely and was very safe behind a gated community.
1st and foremost, Marco made our stay wonderful.1st person we met and made us feel welcome.
Noisy neighbours
Unfortunately a very noisy hotel. Cleaning staff smash doors shut constantly, thin ceilings so you hear every footstep. Uncomfortable bed, 2 mattresses shoved together with a big dip in the middle. Thin blankets and terrible pillows
Safe and quiet area.
Super friendly staff. They gave us a free room upgrade! We had a wonderful view of St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican from our balcony. Really close to Roma S Pietro train station, St Peter’s Square, and several bus stops. Only trouble was that it was a little hard to find because it’s in a gated apartment complex. Other than that, fantastic!
Family Stay
We had a lovely four night stay at the hotel as a family of four. It's in a peaceful location 10 minutes from St Peters Square with lots of good restaurants withinesdy walking distsnce. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable although the bathrooms would benefit from some maintenance.
Good hotel
Located just a few minutes walk to the vatican. Secure location. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was basic but the croissants were good. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this hotel
Lovely hotel near Vatican. Not much shopping in the walkable area however.
Close to railway station, Vatican and restaurants
Great hotel with lovely staff. Would stay again and highly recommend.
Hotel was lovely. A bit of a climb up a hill but in a gated and secure area. Felt very safe. Good proximity to the Vatican if that is your desired area to see, everything else is about a 30 minute walk.
Best of the best
Bloom hotel staff members provided professional service during check-in and check-out. They are best of the best. We stayed at room 205 and 206. The rooms were very clean. The facility was also very clean. We want to give House keeping team 10 stars. Bloom hotel is in a gated community, a short walking distance to the Vaticans, had a supermarket across the street, many restaurants and ice cream shops around... ideal location for families. Bloom hotel charged us a very fair price for their top notched services. We highly recommend it.
Me encanto está propiedad;ubicada en una área residencial muy tranquila;mucho espacio en el cuarto;todo muy limpio;cama muy cómoda y baño amplio A 20 minutos caminado de la basílica de San Pedro Sin duda regresaría!
We stayed two nights. The hotel clerk was great. He got us a boxed breakfast and help with getting ride to airport. It had a view of St. Peters.
We had a problem and they fixed it right away
We loved the friendly staff and colorful, welcoming decor
This hotel was amazing! The staff was great! Alessandra was the BEST! This hotel is located on a quiet, safe street within walking distance of the Vatican and a number of excellent restaurants! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Bloom Hotel, they made our stay in Rome fantastic!! I Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We weren't impressed with it at the begging when got dropped off, but when we got inside it looked very cute, clean and cozy. Our room was nice and clean. Small but not tiny. Beds were comfortable. The stuff is very friendly and helpful with everything. My daughter liked the breakfasts--not much variety but more than enough to fill you up. Walking distance to Vatican, and we were also walking to Hop on Hop off bus ( around 25-30 min). I would definitely recommend the place so stay.!!
Staff was incredibly responsive to all of our needs. Room was super clean. Loved the breakfast buffet!
Not enjoyable experience
Upon check in we were told that we were going to get an upgrade as it was their last room available. We walked in into a junior suite, to find out that every sofa was set up as a bed, the only chairs available were dirty so you didn’t have a place to sit and enjoy the tv that was far away from the bed. The room has a lot of drapery that makes the room dark. The sink wasn’t draining at all, it was disgusting. The drawers of the closet at the entrance of the room were dirty as well as the floor in few spots. Me and my girlfriend tough about leaving the hotel the entire afternoon but I didn’t want to waste my hard earned money. Not to mention that if you’re not slim you will not be able to get in the shower. The hotel is not really a hotel is just a building turned into a guest house. Very disappointing experience, I could’ve spent less elsewhere for something much more enjoyable.
We loved our stay at the Bloom Hotel! The location was perfect for our visit to the Vatican. The staff was welcoming and very helpful with suggestions and directions. We also loved the daily breakfast buffet with cappuccinos. We will stay here again when we visit Roma!
This is a complicated review. I learned a lot about this property during my stay. For example I won’t stay in room 402 again. Too much elevator noise and the room next to me was a family room with several different families staying in that room during my stay. They were so loud constantly slamming doors at midnight while I’m trying to sleep. In room 402 the bathroom could use better lighting in the shower and maybe a few shelves in the wall which was bare. It would have been nice to have the shelves instead of turning off the radiator and using it to put my toiletries bag on. The single rooms are just too small for this Texas boy. Note the staff is a while other story. The front desk staff was always professional and more than willing to go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Their English was great and they were so patient when I tried to speak Italian. I really enjoyed my interactions with them. They made the trip for me. I would stay again but only in a family room
Lovely small hotel just like on pictures, friendly staff, a little of the way but if you looking for peace and quiet is perfect, lots of restaurants close by, the only downside was that there wasn’t a bar serving drinks in the hotel only game room perfect for families to entertain
Bloom Hotel - Rome
Front desk was fantastic and room was great - clean, comfortable, with lots of space. Very happy with the location - close the Vatican and about a 30 min walk to the Trevi Fountain. Restaurants close to the hotel were excellent.

A lovely hotel. It’s off the main road through a small security gate, among some residential dwellings so it felt very safe and it was quiet with no road noise. We had a view of St Peter’s from one of our windows. You can walk to St Peter’s in ten minutes. Breakfast was very nice: fresh fruit and yoghurts, pastries, lovely breads and cheeses, bacon and egg, which was nice. Everything was clean. We had a family room, which was comfy and spacious.
