O hotel é impecável no quesito limpeza. A localização nem se fala, dá para fazer tudo a pé. Os funcionários são mt simpáticos.

My second stay, as I appreciate good basic requirements in excellent location. Garage has extremely narrow entrance but part of the time would park just by the sidewalk. Worth special mention, Paul who was the guy in charge part of the time provided outstanding service. He is clearly a vocational hotelier/innkeeper.

Good hotel, Questionable service at frontdesk

At the checkin we receive a key and when we arrive to the room it was occupied! Hen we return to the frontdesk, the person there argued agains previous turn person, instead of give us an excuse. Really bad.

The windows of my room started to crackle as soon as the sun hit them. It's impossible to sleep past 8am. Compared to other hotels I stayed in MVD its not the cleanest and the staff is not attentive as one would expect. But, it's really close to the mall and to some nice restaurantes and worthy the stay.

O hotel é até bonitinho, moderno. O problema é o barulho. Fiquei no quarto 2.2 que é ao lado de um gerador . Não se dorme ! E ouve-se tudo do quarto em cima. O café da manhã é ok para a categoria do hotel. No geral, a cama é boa, mas o barulho incomoda muito e a recepção, não toma providência. Tenho a impressão que todos reclamam

The hotel was a quick cab ride from the bus terminal in town and was very nice. It was walkable to a variety of locations. The front desk staff, especially Walter, were extremely wonderful. Walter provided us with useful information, directions, great recommendations (including the best Chevito place in town!), and were extremely helpful with us storing our luggage while waiting on a late night flight departure. As the air conditioning was broken during out stay, the staff provided free breakfast as compensation. Thank you BIT!

É a segunda vez que fico neste hotel. A relação custo/benefício é muito boa. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. A localização é excelente. Com certeza voltarei lá.

Small hotel, modern, clean, located in a upscale part of town. Very safe area, shopping center close by. Easy access to buses. Historic city is about 35 min by direct public bus, nice to discover the city. The bus is never full as it is close to terminal. Great stuff, kind and helpful.

Wonderful Stay in a Great Neighborhood!

Great location for this design-savvy hotel. Nice amenities and a courteous team ensured an enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and had beautiful surrounding views.

It was very nice and comfortable. I had a king bed with four super soft fluffy pillows and everything was very clean. The only thing I would recommend is for them to change the breakfast. While there were a lot of options, everything was very bland. Not much taste in the food even though it looked good. I would stay again for sure in regards to cleanliness and comfort, and eat breakfast somewhere else.

Good location clean and comfortable hotel. Walking distance to ocean boulevard and some nice restaurants and bars. Breakfast was average with standard fare. Would stay there again.

Faltou bom senso

Gosto do hotel, já fiquei algumas vezes, porém desta vez o tratamento não foi o mesmo, não cumpriram com a garantia de 2 horas de checkout tardio sendo que estava garantido na reserva, alegaram não haver disponibilidade, absolutamente irreal, o checkin se dá as 14 horas, se houvessem me dado as 2 horas sairia as 13, uma hora para limpeza e sanitarizacao da habitação é muito mais que suficiente, podiam ter negociado 1 1/2 hora ou 1 hora mas não tiveram o menor interesse, nunca havia me acontecido isso em hotéis, sendo que viajo mais de 30 vezes no ano, achei uma grosseria desnecessária, lamento o tratamento, tentei falar com a gerência que também me ignorou, apesar de saber da minha insatisfação!

Bom custo-benefício

O custo-benefício é bem positivo. Minha nota no quesito conforto levou em conta o fato de a tv não permitir conexão com celular, uma vez que hoje em dia praticamente todo mundo tem assinatura de um serviço de streaming.

Hotel muito ruim.

Nas fotos, tanto do Hotels como no Google, o hotel parece com a manutenção em dia mas a realidade é outra. O ar condicionado do quarto parece um trator e o chuveiro é fraco e precisa segurar um botão pra que a água saia direito. No teto do banheiro tmb se nota a falta de manutenção. Agora a pior parte é o café da manhã. Esse com toda certeza foi o pior café que experimentei na vida… não tem variedade de pães, o presunto estava seco mas os ovos mexidos é o pior que pode se encontrar nesse dito café da manhã. O hotel não vale o valor da diária.

Localização Ótima, Qual. do quarto decepcionante

A localização é ótima e o staff atencioso, porém achamos as condições do hotel um pouco decepcionantes. O quarto não estava muito bem limpo, os lençóis estavam sujos e o assento do vaso sanitário estava solto, muitos itens do banheiro estavam enferrujados.

Great hotel in Punta Carretas

The hotel is walking distance to everything one needs for a business or leisure stay. Punta Carretas is a great area. The people at the hotel are extremely friendly and they made my stay to be extra comfortable.

O hotel é extremamente bem localizado, o quarto de canto, andar alto, além de super confortável e de uma cama excelente, tem uma vista sensacional, vale a experiência! O café da manhã não atendeu minhas expectativas, pode melhorar, a camareira também pode ser mais atenciosa, mas no todo o hotel é muito especial e acima da média! As recepcionistas são extremamente atenciosas e sempre ajudando para que vc se sinta em casa. Parabéns!

Good but needs improvement towards the costumer se

Location wise was perfect, walking distance from a big mall, theaters, beach, stores, restaurants and museums, great prices for the room but my room window were broken making a lot of noises when the wind was blowing and I told the front desk and she said they will fixed but never did. Also when I was leaving the front desk followed me asking for to pay a breakfast I never consumed.

No tan bien como otras veces, pedi piso alto y me enviaron al 2do, el hotel no estaba ni cerca lleno, no se podia dormir por el ruido de los omnibus. El desayuno mas o menos, no se destaca.

Lindo hotel y muy bien ubucado

El hotel es muy lindo y cómodo y super bien ubicado. Lo único que tengo para decir es que en la habitación había sólo 1 vaso, 1 saquito de té y ninguna taza. Lo reclamamos 2 veces y finalmente mi esposo tuvo que bajar a pedirlos. Por lo demás todo muy bien

Excelente opcion para negocios en Punta Carretas

Muy buena opcion para una corta estadia en Montevideo. La atencion del personal fue sobresaliente. La ubicacion es excelente, ya que esta junto a un shopping y cerca de muchos restaurantes. No contaria con la cochera, ya que es de muy dificil acceso para automoviles. Serviria para motocicletas sin dudas! El desayuno fue satisfactorio, aunque por las restricciones de la pandemia no pudieron abrir el buffet, nos sirvieron en la mesa.

Good stay at BIT Design Hotel

BIT Design Hotel is located in a quiet safe area, and is walking distance to a good shopping mall and restaurants. The breakfast included with the room was good, with plenty of variety. Walter on reception was particularly helpful with regards to queries about Montevideo and local restaurants. Other staff nembers were not so helpful. The room was clean and small, but adequate for a short stay.

Paula and the others at the reception went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay at the hotel and Montevideo. A gem in a very good area, close to many things

I stayed here for two nights and I have no complaints whatsoever. The hotel is very well located: if you're a shopper a shopping center a block away, restaurants and cafes around, and only a short distance from the beach (long walk, but brief cab drive). The hotel was friendly and efficient, the room was good-sized and clean, the breakfast fine (many pastries and breads, at least one egg dish available, fruits, et al.), all served buffet style. It is a relatively small hotel so no crowds to contend with. I highly recommend it, since the price was very reasonable as well.

Perfect Hotel in Montevideo

This hotel is undoubtedly one of the best I have ever stayed in recent times in several places that I have been traveling. The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff. The room is quite comfortable and clean. The breakfast is quite full. The location of the hotel is good, close to shopping malls and good restaurants, as well as being in one of the best areas of Montevideo.

Nice hotel near Punta Carretas Shopping

Modern hotel with very nice room and breakfast. Conveniently located next to the Punta Carretas Shopping Ctr and beach. But Limited parking space only for small vehicles.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. It is walking distance from the shopping center and a good location for a lot of good restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and we're even able to give good recommendations of where to go, what to do and eat.

Looks great, but...

I go to Montevideo twice a year on business, and thought I would give this new hotel a try as it looked well-designed and exciting. I will not be returning. The rooms are small but with entire-wall windows, they do not feel cramped. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom worked well and the wifi was fine. The were two big problems, however. The first was the noise. Every time my neighbour turned on a tap or had a shower, I would hear the water running loudly through the pipes, which must have been routed in the walls in my room. It was quite loud, enough to wake you up if you are dozing. The second problem is that there simply are not enough staff. On three occasions, my room was not attended to by the chambermaid until 6.00 pm. It wasn't her fault, you could see she was too stretched. On my last day, I got back from a long day of meetings and was looking forward to resting and having a shower before going out to a work-related dinner. It was 6.15 pm and she had just started on my room. I told her to leave it because I did not have much time. When I called to complain, they said they would do the room tomorrow! Surely they should do it every day.

Contemporary Boutique Hotel in Nice Punta Carretas

Enjoyed the small boutique type hotel---contemporary rooms, clean, comfortable. Standard rooms are too small for most Americans, so upgrade. Nice, airy breakfast room, small gym available on same floor as outside patio, great helpful staff. Small underground parking garage, only very small cars will fit as one has to make an immediate 90 degree turn upon entering garage, limited parking spaces. Upscale Punta Carretas Shopping within one block, if so desired. 3-4 blocks from beach coast.

Nice reliable and stylish hotel

We had a nice stay here although it was only for one night. We couldn't check in early, but they were very nice about letting us store luggage and use the wifi. The room wasn't large, but the bed and shower were nice. Everything was clean - room didn't have an iron, but we requested one and they brought it promptly.

Modern hotel for fair price

We only stayed in Uruguay for 1 night, but I'm glad we stayed here. The rooms are small, but it was to be expected. Everything was clean and the bathrooms were well lit with great water pressure. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. Would stay here again if I ever visit Montevideo.

Nice and very good located hotel, just one block to Punta Carretas Shopping Mall, 2 blocks to the Rambla . The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are confortable, but with very little space to accommodate your clothes. Overall, a good experience. We recommend it.

Ultra modern hotel in great location

This sleekly modern hotel is in a very nice area of Montevideo with the upscale Punta Carretas Shopping Center one block away and many fine restaurants including some of our favorites such as Tabare and Francis close by. Open only two months when we were there in February 2015, the only negative were the need of a few adjustments to door and drawer operations. The facility in impeccably clean and the staff is a joy to be with. They could not have been more helpful and made us feel quite at home. In fact, we consider it our new home in Montevideo! Highly recommended

outstanding hotel and great service

This place was great, The room was big and clean and the shower was incredible. The staff was extremely helpful. They recommended places to go to dinner and even booked our bus to punta del este. I would definitely recommend BIT Montevideo to anyone visiting Uraguay.
