Lovely little find
Staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was ready when we arrived. The room was a good size, clean and warm. Breakfast was plentiful and the service was good too. The location was great for both bus and Earls Court tube which meant it was easy to get wherever we wanted to go and we would highly recommend a stay here.
Liked the area, friendly staff, very close to Earls Court tube, about 1.3 miles walk (or short Tube journey) to the Albert Hall, Natural History museum and Victoria and Albert Museum. Close to the Troubadour a famous folk venue visited by many musicians from Dylan to Hendrix to Adele and Ed Sheeran. Very small lift. Just about fits 2 people.
Hotel is beautifully decorated and beds comfortable however the room was very noisy - issues with a faulty aircon unit to workmen making noise in the morning, plus all sorts of noise from plumbing in other rooms or might have been the kitchen of the hotel. We had a very poor nights sleep overall which is a shame as the hotel looks great visually and is in a convenient location.
Rooms aren’t ready at check in time.
Had to wait hours for the room to be ready even though check in time was 2pm and we didn’t arrive until 3.30pm. Room was fine but window backed onto an alleyway which had a light on all night and the blind did nothing to block it. Offered a complimentary breakfast but there weren’t enough tables in the restaurant for the number of guests so there was a long wait and staff were asking guests to share tables. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re only staying for one night and want fast service without worries.
Breakfast was cooked to order.
Staff where amazing so kind & helpful so nice to have such a warm greeting on arrival .Thank you Mornington Hotel staff
Elegant hotel in a great location
Nice hotel and great location. Only problem we were in room LG22 which has an issue with tv signal so we had only a few very obscure channels to watch. Not really an issue as we were out and about most of the time anyway. Wifi was a bit hit and Miss too but would stay again
Excelent Location !!
Moldy room and breakfast wasn't really good
Very clean and friendly staff. Close to Earls Court station.
Terrible Service
Made a mistake and booked the incorrect dates. Immediately realised and contacted the property and asked for a refund as the dates I wanted were unavailable. Offered no help and charged me the full booking
Good location & breakfast!
Great location.
When we were checking in, we were told 'bad news - your room is not available'. They suggested to give us money back, with no concern where we could go after that. Then they did accommodate us in two single rooms - note I was travelling with a child under 16 - in a different parts of the hotel, not even close to each other. The rooms were in the basement, and they had very bad moldy smell about them, even open windows could not resolve the problem. We were offered free breakfast; however, I must admit the breakfast was exceptionally basic, continental, and I was glad that I did not have to pay for it £15 each. I definitely would not recommend to stay in this hotel. Or at least have some kind of alternative in mind when booking it, in case they tell you on arrival that you do not have a room.
No water bottle, no toothbrush and toothpaste.
Bathroom was extremely small.
I’m definitely putting this one on my “saved” list! Absolutely perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing. We took a walk after breakfast and it is a really quaint area. We loved this place!
Our stay
The room was nice and clean. For two nights our room heating was not working, however Enrico was absolutely amazing in getting this sorted out for us, we also ended up with free drinks for the matter which was a nice touch. Staff member Gita was from my country and was able to provide some London tips in our native language as well which was a nice touch to the stay.
Very good stay
Amazing, very close to underground station and shops and restaurants. Room not too big but not too small so it fits nicely for a couple .
Never stay at a best western again
Located on a nice quiet street yet very close to London tube and many shops in the area.
Very handy and convenient for our London mini-break. Tube about 3 minutes away. M&S foodstore on the corner. 20 mins walk to museums. Very well appointed, good quality bathroom, queensize bed, furniture, etc. if a little compact and bijou (our aircon was broken, but didn't need it). Don't arrive at breakfast at the peak times or you may queue in reception, but the breakfast is definitely worth waiting for and all the staff were very friendly and efficient.
Such a cute hotel!
Nice location.
Guest review
Great location clean and tidy staff friendly and helpful
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Mornington Kensington in Earls Court, London, for three nights. Having spent the past five weeks traveling across Europe, I can confidently say that this accommodation was the most disappointing and costly of my trip. The room I was given was significantly smaller than what was advertised, making it feel like an inadequate value for the amount I paid. Additionally, I encountered a serious issue with a leak in the ceiling, which I discovered upon waking up one morning. The leak resulted in water damaging my suitcase and clothing. Although the reception staff were considerate and offered a partial refund, the overall experience fell far short of my expectations and was ultimately unsatisfactory.
Very noisy!
Lovely hotel perfect location . Stayed in the lower ground floor a little tight in space but for the price can’t complain .
Lovely staff, very quick to respond to requests/concerns. Issue with the aircon turning off during the night and the room getting very hot - front desk said they are able to control if you let them know you’re having trouble. The room I was staying in was right next to the door which leads to the lift, and could hear every time someone lets the door slam, plus other doors on the same floor. Also able to hear other guests walking around their room as the floors are noisy. Room service appeared to have come from nearby restaurants but an extensive menu. The room is small but has everything you need. The bathroom is quite small, I imagine someone taller may have an issue with using the toilet/shower but I had an enjoyable stay. Lovely renovations. Close to Earls Court underground and plenty of restaurants close by.
Nice boutique hotel with an excellent breakfast and nice staff!
Lovely area in Earls Court. Staff very nice. Only issue was there was no air conditioning and the window only opened a small bit so it was very hot and stuffy in the room.
Great stay and very impressed of the hotel. Comfy and very clean. Breakfast lovely and hot and lots of choices Would recommend staying here
Great hotel for the price
Great hotel for the price we paid and included breakfast which had a good selection including a hot food. Staff were very friendly. Only a short walk from the tube station and places to eat. Room was quite small but enough room for two people. Only down side was the air conditioning didn’t seem to work very well, a fan was left in the room which did help a little. Our room could do with re painting as there was a lot of marks on the walls but that didn’t effect our experience. We would definitely stay here again.
Lovely hotel, in very good condition. Great location
This was our first time staying at the Mornington Kensington location but it will definitely not be our last. The ambience and atmosphere were wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The room was a nice size. We absolutely loved the location. The area was clean, well lit, and safe. There were great restaurants within walking distance. It was a short walk to the tube which made it extremely convenient to get anywhere around London. I would highly recommend!
Location close to public transport and central London.
Staff friendly, hotel nice , room big let down, was small and dark, sliding door to bathroom so close to the bed difficult to get in to, not enough lights in room was room g6 avoid this room
Beautiful clean boutique hotel, super close to the tube station and the beds were super comfortable.
Great choice
Mornington was a great stay. Location: around the corner from Earl's Court, which has a direct connection to basically everything including LHR. Lots of restaurants and stores within 1 block. The block that the hotel is on is quiet, with a lot of other hotels as well. Safe. I was hesitant because the hotel is part of the Best Western brand which (at least in the US) is lower quality, but it was actually great and those preconceived notions were proven wrong. Check-in: easy. Very small elevator, typical to old buildings in Europe. Room: I had a single room which was just a twin bed and minimal space to move around much, but as I don't hang out in my room this was fine. There was a writing table with stool which was nice to get things organized. A closet rod but no drawers. There is an in-room safe and a coffee pot hidden in a cabinet/drawer thing, as well as an iron/ironing board. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom: quite small, with a ship-style shower that a person with more girth may not be comfortable in. Shower amenities include soap, shampoo, and shower gel. (NOTE: No conditioner, lotion, nor blow dryer.) I did not get breakfast, as there are more reasonably priced options within one block, including Paul Patisserie, Pret, etc.
Convenient location. Air conditioning is not as strong. Staff are friendly. The elevator is small so be prepared to use the stairs.
Room was not ready at Check in. Had to ask for soap, sink in bathroom so small you make a mess doing anything, washing your face nearly impossible. Not the hotel’s fault, but had no power for one night. Excellent location though.
Arrived for 2pm check in to be told it was delayed until 3 due to power cut. Room clean, fresh, modern and comfortable, contained all we required. Woken by noise and smell of cigarettes from group of staff outside window. Overall good hotel and would book again.
No
Asked for an early check in and got no reply. Room wasn’t ready at normal check in time. No air con but a fan was provided. Power cut through the night so no electric or water the day after with no options to get washed other than an estimated time that was past check out. No sorry on check out either. Never stayed here and never will again.
Very welcoming and friendly staff who were very helpful. Excellent continental breakfast. Room modern comfortable and tastefully decorated although not large.
Hotel room was suitable . Very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly. Good location
Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were fresh and of good variety, room was comfortable, other amenities were as expected for this level of hotel.
Lovely but noisy
Lovely hotel in a convenient location. Only issue is that we were on the ground floor and there was a lot of noise in the corridor in the morning so sleep was very interrupted from 6:30 onwards.
Very near to the tube station.
Friendly hotel & local to Hyde park
Avoid at all costs
Rooms are tiny (and therefore become a sauna in summer time). We checked in for a business trip, and specifically booked this hotel as i t was July and ha the rooms had AC.Was On checking in, AC in both rooms was not working. Staff said they would look at it. On arriving back in the evening, still not working. Staff said there were no rooms to move to, so spent the night sweating in a 29 degree room (as verified by their central room temperature monitoring system). Needless to say it was nearly impossible to sleep. Next morning notified reception - they said they would fix it or move us to different room. Arriving back that evening still no change, said unfortunately there was not much they could do at that hour, so another night of baking room temperatures and little sleep. The staff do seem to care and tried to make a plan, I just think the management don't care much. Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had,
Basic but clean. Room is too small and bed is uncomfortable.
All good
Small but nice room, very good location, perfect for a short stay.
Staff very accommodating
Newly renovated, close to underground, lots of eating places close by. Excellent staff.
Great location with good transport links. Very clean and cosy hotel with lovely staff.
Fantastic hotel. My husband and I have just returned from a four night stay here and cannot fault it. The hotel is immaculate, the bed in the room was so comfortable, we had some of the best nights sleep ever , we had also been allocated a room at the front with a small balcony which was a real unexpected bonus. Breakfast was included in the price and was amazing , so much choice and served by friendly , attentive staff. The reception area was also always staffed and again by welcoming , friendly staff members. The hotel is literally minutes from Earls Court underground station and there is everything you could need in the immediate vicinity which is safe and quiet. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough and still cannot believe that for the price we paid we were able to obtain this standard of accommodation and service from the Mornington Kensington. If you are lucky enough to find availability here then do not hesitate to book, you really couldn't ask for more , it's a absolutely brilliant hotel in which to spend your city break.
The location of the hotel is perfect and the value for money fit within my budget
Every staff member was personable, professional and genuine. Clean room, breakfast was nice.
Great boutique hotel in a fantastic neighbourhood. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is only a couple minute walk from lots of shops and food, and the tube.
Especially nice breakfasts were included for our stay and staff was great!
Nicely refurbished and in a quiet neighbourhood, yet very close to tube. Bathroom is very tight but functional
Excellent facilities in a convenient location
Walls can be a tad thin. But totally enjoyed my stay. highly recommended.
酒店前台的人非常友好,供应的早餐非常好,走路去地铁站只需要几分钟,很方便
Great
Tiny single room but location and transport options are perfect.
A fabulous find
We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered the building. Staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Great location close to two entrances to Earls Court train station, ideal base for getting around. High street with shops and eating places at the end of the road. Room was modern, clean, quiet, comfortable. Large shower and fluffy towels. Would definitely recommend and return.
Excellent property and great service
Single rooms are very small and expensive
Good location and refurbished rooms
I booked a single room and I knew it will be small. It was small with a single bed (which was comfy) on the lower ground floor. The room was clean the for the size of the room the shower was decent size and had Rituals shower/shampoo. Room's A/C temp was set by the reception which was strange. The hotel is very near Earls Court tube station and near restaurants and cafes. I will stay there again if the price was reasonable but I will opt for a larger room. If you want an upper floor room please book the right room as it might be possible to get one if you don't like ground floor rooms.
From the first moment to the last the service was fantastic. Particular mention must go to Tallulah & the hard-working head waitress at breakfast. Really good team-spirit here! I’ll return 100%
Wel loved our stay at Mornington. The room was exactly as advertised and building is located in a very convenient location to the subway and many attractions.
Hotel was lovely decorated and in a nice area, however stayed for the marathon was woken up first morning by two fire alarms at 7am also the landing was hoovered each morning at 8am outside the room wouldn’t advise this hotel if you need to rest up. There were numerous power cuts throughout our three night stay. The staff implied the full hotel was affect however rooms on other floors were absolutely fine seemed to be one half of the hotel, when discussing this with reception they were defensive and blamed myself for not knowing how to use a keycard correctly. Rooms could have been cleaned better, numerous hairs around the bathroom and room on arrival. Rather disappointed wouldn’t say 4 star.
The staff is very nice. Bed is comfortable and the shower is good. Breakfast was ok (could have more options) Location is very good as super close to the tube
Truly a wonderful experience. They allowed me to check in early after I had been traveling over 14 hours. Room was small, but great bed. Very quiet and safe. I really felt looked after. As a solo traveler, this makes a big difference. Breakfast was included and was a 4 star — eggs and sausage cooked to order with a lattes, espresso etc. Honestly better than most restaurants. Shower was nice and warm. Location is great and super safe neighborhood close to many things. I would return next time I am in London. Staff gives you excellent care and is quite attentive.
Simply perfect
Great short stay location. Perfectly located right around the corner from the tube station. Coop, burger king and McDonald's within a minutes walk. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you

Fantastic Stay
Hitel is lovely. Room is very small but for the purpose of sleeping im it was very comfortable. Staff very nice friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay again very nice area.
Great hotel
Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. All staff we cane across were helpful. Great location, literally minutes walk from Underground. Would definitely stay again.
Staff was incredible! Very friendly and with great willingness to help. Mika at the front desk went above and beyond for making our accommodation memorable
Great hotel! Lovey staff and great location. Clean and good amenities. Quite a small room but that is the standard for most London hotels.
business trip
it is one of the best i have stayed in Earls court
Shoe box of a room!
Hotel itself was in a good location, very clean and modern. We didn't get the room we booked and instead received what can only be described as a shoe box. Smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. I had to climb onto the bed from the bottom as it was up against the wall. Bathroom was tiny. The hotel staff blamed this on Hotels.com for over-booking rooms and offered a refund of £20! The money was not the issue, if I wanted a smaller cheaper room, I would have booked one!
What a find!
The staff here are welcoming, and always recognize me by name. This is my third year time to use the property in two months, and I will continue to choose this hotel. It’s been freshly decorated with excellent style, and the breakfast is superb. Location is great too—near many good restaurants and pubs to unwind after a busy day. Cannot more highly recommend, Bear.
Great stay
Convenient , nice and clean hotel . Will stay again next time . Thanks Enrico for his kind hospitality
Small But Nice
The room was small but nice. Especially as it was a reward night and it was practically free. The shower pressure was great and the room was warm. The single bed was small but comfortable. I would stay again paying fill price.
Everything was great. The comfy hotel 2 minutes walk from underground station. The stuff is welcoming and helpful. The room was great, clean and comfy.
Great stay can't swing a cat
Lovely clean hotel, breakfast was great, staff were very good. Room was tiny which was disappointing as we didn't book a Standard room. I would stay here again, great location for us
Terrific London Homebase
I've been to London around 40 times and the Mornington was my favorite place to stay so far. The staff made the difference, going out of their way to help my brother and I enjoy our trip. It was my birthday so we stayed in the small hotel bar a few of the nights while I drank enough to subdue a small elephant, and the staff was friendly and as nice as could be. The location is also perfect - about a 3 minute walk from the Tube station that goes directly to Heathrow and also goes directly to Picadilly and Westminster without changing lines. The neighborhood has many restaurants, cafe's, and bars, and a few convenience stores and markets. Of course the rooms are small by American standards but I've stayed in smaller ones in London. Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone going to London due to the 24/7 staffed front desk, amazing customer service skills on the team, and perfect location.
Great room. Value for money.
Good facilities. Very clean, helpful staff. Ask for a larger bathroom if you need disabled access.
Bad Wi-Fi connect, disappointed of staff and service. Room is clean.
maybe more expensive rooms are better
The room on LG level was so tiny that there was no space for luggage. The shower door has a design flaw, and it is impossible to close it when you are in the shower. The desk telephone was not working (problem connecting). The construction smell is still all around. The night shift at reception can only giggle watching you pulling luggage up the entry steps and through the door. Morning shift at the reception was nicer and more apologetic.
Such a night of discomfort!!
We arrived at night and the receptionist told us to go in another room from the one that we were supposed to be. The room was on the lower ground floor where they were doing maintenance work. So, it was very noisy in the morning from 7am and we didn’t manage to sleep properly. Also, the fire alarm rang twice early in the morning which made it impossible to rest after our trip. The ACT and the air condition was not working in the room and when we asked the receptionist to change she told us that we could do that the next day. I am really dissatisfied with their service as we should have been able to change room straight instead of having such a night of discomfort.
I liked the location, we could walk to the tube and hop on hop off buses. Food and shopping were close. I loved the comfortable bed and tub. Didn't like that we paid for breakfast and one morning they weren't open early enough to enjoy it. Breakfast was great the mornings we ate able to eat there.
Super close to the subway station so it's easy to get around. A lot of diing and store options close by too. The one thing I will note is that service at this place was eh... room service made the bed but that's about it. Never took any trash from the room or changed the sheets. It's also not fully staffed all the time so you need to ask reception if you want a drink from the bar. Really boutique style hotel...
Nicely designed, very inviting and a cozy atmosphere, close to train station.
The rooms are small but all you need for a place to sleep. It was clean and nice enough for a place to spend the night. The location is awesome. But the air conditioning in the room had an error code every few hours - so sleeping at night the room got boiling hot and with 2 people in tiny room was a bit rough.
The room I occupied was extraordinarily small. There was no where to hang clothes or even fully open my suitcase. I would not want to stay here again
The room was very clean and the location of the hotel was convenient as it was less than 5 minutes walk to the tube station. The staff were all very helpful during our stay and if we were going to be travelling to London, we would be more than happy to stay here again!
