Excellent

It’s an average- rooms are dated we had hair in tub/shower they moved us. Just an older property. Stayed 3 nights for rate it was acceptable. Breakfast was good staff friendly. I do not like late check out policy $50 per 1/2 hour seems extreme especially when rooms are vacant.

The newly renovated rooms were very nice. Very nice property and the relaxation areas and workout room and breakfast and eating area was nice! Definitely would stay again here!

On the way home

It appears this hotel has been updated fairly recently. The room, while small, was very clean and comfortable. Great bed!

Great hotel, amenities were awesome, hospitality on point, breakfast was great, very clean and well lit, plus they have security… overall just a great experience each time I stayed here and will be staying again!!

When I checked into my room and got all of my luggage and valuables and the rest of my property in my room, I went back to my car to get something and when I came back, I could not get back in my room. The night staff tried to unlock my door, but nothing they did worked. I had to wait until the next morning when maintenance could come fix my door. They put me in another room for the night, but I had absolutely none of my belongings with me. It was horrible. My medicine, my phone charger my clothes, my laptop. Everything was locked up and I couldn’t get to it. I’m thankful that I had my phone in my pocket or that would’ve been locked up too.

Very safe. Quiet

The thing that stands out to me the most was the backlit mirror and bathroom tile. It made the property look really nice. Other than that, nothing really remarkable. The breakfast was ok and the grounds were nice. I would stay here again.

Restful Overnight Stay

Everything was fine for our overnight stay. Slept well and had a good breakfast before heading out on the road.

Just okay

Fine enough for a one night stay, but the bathroom area was not as clean as it could have been. Several hairs were left in the tub and on the bathroom floor.

Honestly I was super skeptical at first, but the property was amazing! Our room was very spacious, clean, and the view of the pool was pretty nice too. The breakfast area was clean, with a lot of options for food and drinks as well. The hotel is literally right across from the beach, so that’s also very nice. Everything around is walking distance. I would stay here again!

I’ll stay here again.

I stayed for 4 nights while in town for work. The room was clean, AC worked, shower had a good water pressure, comfortable bed, friendly receptionist, great hot breakfast and friendly staff. However there was some minor wear and tear was noticeable in the room, and while everything was functional, a few small touch-ups would go a long way. I’ll stay here again.

The room and service was good The outdoor surroundings needed maintenance. To much sand on sidewalks and driveways.

Read the review, which seemed like a decent place to stay. After check in, came back to our room to find the guest in the room next to us sitting outside smoking, drinking and listening to music on a boom box. Middle of the night, they decided to open their door and let it creak/slam open and shut for over an hour. Breakfast- we were offered yogurt from a machine that hadn't been cleaned in quite some time and had all the dried up yogurt to show. Upon returning the second night to our NON-SMOKING room, our room and belongings were met with an overwhelming cigarette smell. Paper thin walls and noise made for another unpleasant night of sleep. Did not stay our 3rd night as a friend offered us a room at another hotel. Stayed for a few hours our final night, mostly to get our belongings before heading to the airport. Do not recommend this facility!!!

Very nice hotel. Huge TV with a large variety of programming. The only negative is the dumpster driver was quite noisy fairly early in the morning.

Fantastic and affordable

This was a fantastic room for the price and will be our go-to from now on during our travels. Spacious room, hot and clean shower with fantastic water pressure /shower head. Comfortable bed. Microwave and mini fridge. Great hot breakfast options. Truly a gem to find this!

My stay was comfortable, my dog was welcomed. I didn't appreciate 2 smokers standing by the stairs next to my room smoking and loud talking

The rooms, the breakfast area and food, the lobby were all amazing! when you drive up you're thinking, uh-oh due to outside entry, vacant building next door and not so classy hotel next to that but the re-do I am sure was also an up-do. the rooms are awesome and best breakfast experience hand downs for a complimentary breakfast situation! We would definitely book again!

We loved everything about the upgrade of the rooms. Only down fall is the outdated carpet other than that its a winner. Breakfast was good with lots of options friendly staff. Job well done on the renovations of the property.

Staffs started to rush us checking out multiple times half an hour before official check out time.

The property and room were well maintained and clean. The staff were very friendly. The location was very central to all our needs. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast with a friendly staff. Being able to enjoy the hot tub was a definite plus.

parking close to our room was very difficult. My wife is handicapped and there was steps to climb up, no ramp, so every time we had to get to our room, it took 2 people to help me get her either up the steps or walk on the incline of grass. They had no problem charging my credit card for the length of stay but we had to check out a day earlier due to an emergency back home only being told I have to contact the credit card company to refund my 1 day room rental

Great Experience

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent for this price range. We were very happy with the whole experience. We would definitely come back.

Lovely stay enjoyed

It was me and my husband one month anniversary!!! And he hasn’t been to Gulfport in years!! He has a wonderful time and so did I.. Me and my family use to stay there and we loved the stay!! Love the hot breakfast and love the renovation!! Only thing I would love more if they offered late check out for free!! Not long just until 12!! But other than that we will be back regardless!!! Lovely clean and friendly staff A+ in our book

The rooms were very nice. The outdoor entrance convenient. The lobby area was extremely nice and updated rooms. Outside may need a bit more updating, but overall a good stay.

Easy to find straight of I10, shopping close by, rooms and cleanliness is excellent, Excellent cooked breakfast everyday, which is a plus, all included in the price which is very reasonable. Would recommend to everyone

Very affordable

Lots pf fun with the family at very affordable rates.

This is the best hotel remolded room I have ever seen. They did an awesome job. This should be a go to model for other hotels to see what a renovation should be. Can't say enough about how I was impressed. And the breakfast was very good too.

I didn’t like that room keeping did not clean my room or make my roommate bed, they came up with an excuse not to make it. I felt so bad for her because after a long, very long drive she came to a pile of blankets for her to make her own bed… we told management and I had no clue what they did about it. We were there for a week. Very disappointed.

I have to ask, why would Best Western Seaway Inn charge me ten dollars more a night for a non-smoking room than for a smoking room? Am I being punished or discriminated against for not smoking and staying healthy?

Staff were courteous and professional. It was quiet. Location was convenient. It’s not far from the interstate.

We stayed for several times and had really good service. Bedding and bathroom for very clean. Hotel staff was very professional.

Great weekend stay and breakfast.

Easy check in. Was there for my son’s football tournament. Quiet. Nice spacious room. I did report that one of the accent pillows were missing upon entering to ensure I wasn’t going to be charged for it. My son had another day of football so it was very convenient to use the washer and dryer once the front desk provided change. The snack machine however does not. Great breakfast! Will def stay again next time we’re in Gulfport.

Need room keys in order to eat breakfast

The ladies monitoring the breakfast had attitudes. We had no clue we had to have our room key in order to eat breakfast. We turned our room keys in to the guy at the front desk. He asked if we were eating breakfast and we said yes. He could have told us we needed our keys to eat breakfast. I would recommend your staff tell guests they need their keys in order to eat breakfast.

The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was the best my husband and I have ever eaten in a motel. Absolutely tasteful!!! The room was clean & quiet. There was space to walk my dog and bags for poop and a disposal box. I would absolutely recommend this motel!

Very nice hôtel with beautiful surrondings of pool area. Lots of outside tables and chairs. Also nice lobby area with tv. Room was small and a little smelly for a non smoking Room. Breakfast was very good but with some questions about who is really coming to eat?? Some people looked like the were from outside….

The tile flooring areas and bathrooms was not cleaned. I called maintenance for them to bring me a mop do I could clean the areas myself. Also the toilet didn't flush properly.

Between 1 and 5 a 3 is the best I can give

Another excellent stay

We were able to check in a little early, which was really nice. The room was super clean (actually smelled of bleach when we first got in, but the smell went away). Check in was quick and easy, the front desk person was just extremely un-personable. Location is in some sort of flight path, so we heard a few planes quite loudly. Thankfully didn't notice them while sleeping. Was quite impressed w the breakfast spread. It all looked good and fresh. Lots of hot options. Overall, a great value for the price. Just maybe a little friendliness would have made it that much better!

Good stay and good value

Everything was good. Rooms were a little small so i would definitely recommend spending the extra few bucks on the bigger room. The regular room is not hardly big enough for 4 people. Beds were a little firm for me but no one else complained. Overall it served its purpose at an extremely good price.

I had an inside room but the parking spot was outside. Concerned for my car but walking my dog i noticed security all around the property. Place is dated but clean. Restaurants within very close walking distance

Over all the hotel itself isn’t bad but the staff was horrible, I had room service barge into my room multiple times, I was not even given a DO NOT DISTURB sign to even place outside the door if I wanted to. I would not recommend to stay here if you like privacy!

My Husband and I really like that The Seaway Inn has a cooked breakfast from 6am to 10am 7 days a week included with your stay. Its close and easy to find straight of I10 Interstate. The rooms are very clean and hygienic. Housekeeping and Hotel Staff are friendly. Its about 5 miles from the gulfport casinos. The pool has a hot tub and a small kiddies pool, also has quiet time from 10pm to 8am. It is great value as well. Would recommend for everyone.

The room was clean. And well decorated and they enforced the quiet hours so it was restful. Staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. The gym was in good condition. The only suggestion would be to add some dumbbells. It was one of my better stays in the area. Would definitely return

All was good except some mold on bathroom ceiling due to lack of bathroom ventilation fan.

The room is not clean, it is full of cockroaches and bed bugs the furniture is old and the paint is old The smell of mold and moisture is very strong

Mental Getaway and Relaxation

Our stay was very good. The rooms had been upgraded since our previous visits. My husband and I had an enjoyable time. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was extra small. There was barely enough room to close the door. Other than that, everything else was good.
