Great hotel this been second time been here since stopping in Loydminster

What we needed

I would say the only downfall is that we couldn't regulate the heat and if we wouldn't have been able to open the window it would have been unbearable.

The staff here were great. I work in Lloyd , so I’ve stayed at pretty much all the hotels , and this is probably the best one. The check in staff were courteous and professional.

There was garbage in the parking lot

Very clean and quiet rooms that is an easy walk to your local Tim Hortons, Subway, Second Cup, as well as some dining options of a Greek restaurant called Spiro’s and The Diner. (both closed on Mondays) Starbucks is just across the road if you were wanting a little walk. The morning breakfast options is amazing a great choices for being Gluten Friendly. There is a hot-tub and pool with a slide that is great height for younger families as the depth is 1.5 meters deep all around. And the hot-tub is also shallow but still nice and hot. Fitness facility has all the essentials so you don’t have to worry about missing a workout. The staff are all professional and friendly. Will be staying here again.

Clean and quite in a good location

We had an enjoyable stay. The property is starting to show it's age, but is well kept. We appreciated the attentiveness of the breakfast staff.

Did not appreciate being overcharged for the incidental fee. Tv didn’t work.

Conveient location with adequate parking for the size of the property.

Close to venue that I needed to be running back and forth to all weekend. Delicious breakfast included. Pleasant staff. Main elevators were out of order which was a little less convenient when hauling items back and forth. Kids loved the waterslide and pool!

The staff here seemed to really care about the presentation of their workplace. Fantastic all around.

The hotel is very clean and updated, compared to most hotels in Lloydminster. I wish there was a restaurant or bar inside, like Border has, other than that, no qualms. Best hotel in Lloyd, hands down.

Our family stayed at the hotel for a wedding and it was very quiet, comfortable, and clean.

This property was very noisy. There were several large groups staying so the running in the hallways was awful. We had the worst room in the hotel. Our room was beside an exit, outside the pool entrance, around the corner from the elevators. I often find we get substandard rooms when booking through outside agencies.

Excellent Service

I travel a lot, and this is the first hotel since Covid that cleaned my room between nights. (took garbage, made the bed, freshened towels) Much appreciated!

We arrived early for our check in and the staff was wonderful and were able to accommodate us. The room was Very clean and so was the pool area.

The room was excellent although a bit dated. USB outlets are the norm and needed. The breakfast was outstanding although the coffee (water) tasted pretty rank.

Day staff was really nice. Hot tub maintenance lasted a full day which was dissapointing. Love the breakfast but the waffle batter seemed to grainy and powdery. Otherwise good stay. Room comfy. No slippers even though we booked a king suite.

The property is in immaculate shape and offers a great complimentary breakfast, pool, and workout room. The rooms are large and clean.

John was very helpful with trying to hook up an hdmi cable to the tv. We werent quite able to do it, but he was pleasant and did everything possible to help.

Really great pool and waterslide. Rooms are really nice and fairly soundproof. Staff was really great and the breakfast had a lot of variety. Quite a few restaurants and shopping really close. All around great hotel

The hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located for restaurants and main highway.

My husband was checking-in yesterday. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. They were trying to make him pay for the room even though we had proof that it was paid through Expedia. They then wouldn’t accept his business credit card through his employer. My husband stays at hotels 1-2 times a week and this has NEVER been a problem. They kept his boss on hold for over 30 minutes. They had no manager on duty and when asked for the manager to call the boss, they said that can’t happen… not sure why considering this is a managers job. Finally, they made the boss sign a “third party waiver” via email that they had to “draft up” - so clearly wasn’t a thing or legitimate for legal purposes. When another receipt was showed that it was PAID through Expedia then they said “oh we mean for incidentals”. My husbands check-in took over an hour. If this would have been explained and proper communication was made by front desk staff, this never would have been an issue in the first place. Proper training and customer service skills CLEARLY needs some upgrading. A manager should also always be on duty. Very disappointed in the check in process and customer service and will never be staying here again in the future.

Great Place to Stay

It was hard to sleep being both at the far end of the hotel near trucks, cars and motorcycle noises (both late and early) and at an exit door!

Our stay was awesome! We will definitely be back. We had a get away weekend, just my husband and I and it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was awesome

Had a king bed room on the top floor (4) and was very pleased that the room was divided up into entrance/bathroom, bedroom and living room. Two TVs, wow, even though they were older models with poor sound. The bathroom fan was very noisy and turned on with the light switch. Cleaning staff replaced the soap bar without asking, even though I had only used it once or twice. What a waste. Heat was turned off when I arrived. Breakfast was decent with good selection.

Love, love love their breakfast options. Parking is easy for the motorcycle (level ground for parking) and the friendliness of the staff.

The rooms are very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish I had caught their names but the woman at the front desk and especially the woman who manages the kitchen, make you feel like you are with family.

Clean room, AC is easily regulated on the wall. Shower looks slightly dated but has good flow and pressure, the curved shower rod gives a good amount of room. The mattress is a little soft, I prefer a firm mattress but had a good sleep so I have no complaints.

Pretty cool place and everything good except the Tv u can't use an hdmi input since it's stuck on the wall and the fan in the washroom too loud .

Indubitably the best option in Lloydminster; clean; well run and quiet, away from all the hubbub of the main road with lots of amenities in walking distance.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool was clean and the first hotel I’ve stayed at in ages that had an abundance of towels for the pool.
