Don’t think I’ll be back.
The bed wasn’t comfortable and I didn’t sleep well. Also every time I opened the bathroom, a hatch in the ceiling fell open. Also in the shower the soap dispenser was broken and kept falling off. The room was ok but looked dated. I also wasn’t able to turn the bedside lights off. As there wasn’t a switch or button anywhere. The man on reception was good though, so service was excellent.
The breakfast was outstanding! The property is very old
All just ok. Rooms needed work
The rooms are old n Shower tub is very high with no support to hold when getting in or out of tub
Basic room suitable for a transit layover. Not a hotel I would recommend for any other reason
ONE bed for 3 ppl
I booked a room for 1 adult and 2 children. There was only ONE bed. Not enough space for adult, 12 year old and 10 year old.
Good location poor service
Terrible WiFi...bed sheet had few marks and found hair on top of the bed cover
I mostly stayed here because of its proximity to the airport. The metro is just a short walk down the street, and the airport is just a couple minutes away by train. It's a basic motel, nothing fancy whatsoever, but it was quiet and convenient.
Spacious room and easy transition
This hotel needs new and confortable mattresses, sheets and pillows as soon as possible. The property needs an urgent overhaul/ serious renovation. Room pricing was fair but I still can't recommend this place if you need a resting night.
Morning Buffet was good but the carpet in the from was really dirty didn’t feel clean.
Great place.
Restaurant was excellent
It could br better and the restaurant close too early
Great stay
Had a single night for an early morning flight from Cph Airolport. Had a great and comfortable stay.
Where to start. This was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at in many years. The rooms switches for lighting the room didn’t work, the bathroom’s shower and shower head was as joke. Getting in and out was not safe. I could go on but the bottom line was, this was one of the worst experiences of any hotel we’ve stayed at.
Property needs remodeling
Not very clean and noisy
The location was great but the hotel was very old. I expected cleaner rooms. It was terribly noisy during the night with trucks passing by. Not recommended if you need to sleep and rest.
My stay in the hotel was really good. The room was quite big and spacious for a standard room. The Bathroom was big as well. Quiet environment and pretty safe. Upon check in on the 9th of November when i checked in around 11pm the receptionist then was a young guy he was truly very welcoming. His service was truly good, same as a lady in a dark hair. Unfortunely forgot their names. Upon CO the receptionist was also nice. There is just one collegue who didnt really stick up propely his name is Igor. Quite not welcoming. Barely at the desk. Kept people waiting. He seemed unwelcoming and was not very helpful at all. He quite upset me until i think he saw how upsetting i was and he later on was able to assist me. Very unprofessional of him. Aside him. The room, the service from other colleagues were so nice. For a 3 star hotel it felt like a 4star service except the service from Igor. Would recommend this place if for short stays.
Feather pillows are awful
Bar tenders were helpful. They told me about a local food delivery app that came in handy. No complimentary coffee. Paid about $3 for a small cup of plain black. Room was fine except the pillows are terrible! After a sleepless night the first night, all I wanted to do was come back to the room and get some rest. Didn't happen with these feather pillows. So now 2 straight sleepless nights.
It’s a walking distance from the airport. It’s in a nice neighborhood with a grocery store downstairs and across the street. Very quiet neighborhood. It’s an old hotel so once you get up to your room, the hallways smell like an old library. We stayed in this hotel twice already during layovers. It’s just right for this purpose. I would stay in this hotel again during a long layover.
Old building and extremely dirty.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Copenhagen, and it was a pleasing experience. The location is perfect, 15 walk from CPH airport and 7 min to Train station, which takes you to central area making it easy to explore the beautiful city of Copenhagen. The standard room is standard, comfortable, bathroom is alright too, Other amenities, very big lobby area with TV, 2 in walk to Netto Supermarket and few eating joints/cafe as next door. Reception Staff Rasmus is extremely helpful. I recommend the Best Western Plus Copenhagen for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were able to check in early as our room was ready. The room was clean and very big! Lots of places to eat just outside.
Except for the lobby, all other areas are shabby. Soiled carpets. Rooms had rickety furniture.
Convenient and comfortable
A ten minute walk from the terminal is this very welcoming hotel. Customer service was excellent and every member of staff I met was both friendly and professional. Yes, the room, was dated but comfortable and sufficient for a short stay. We were there for 3 nights and we were happy with our stay. A nearby Metro station takes you to the city centre in minutes.
Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. but not a good bed. For not having an airport shuttle it is not worth the cost. What I paid for taxi on top of room fee, I could have stayed at the hotel right at the airport
This hotel was ok for an overnight rest between flights, but was extremely dated. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally lackluster.
Good breakfast, close to airport & train station.
It was a good stay overall. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of items and beverages. The carpets in the corridors could use a little cleaning and care. Close to airport (20 minute walk) and train station (5 minute walk).
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Copenhagen and had a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is ideally situated just one stop on the metro from the airport terminal, making it super convenient for late-night arrivals. It’s also only a short 10-minute walk from the metro station, which was a breeze. The room was slightly basic and dated but perfectly adequate for what we paid. They had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep without any disturbances. Overall, I would definitely choose to stay here again if I find myself in the Copenhagen area, especially for late arrivals. It’s a great option for those looking to avoid traveling all the way into the city center after a long journey.
Nice place next to airport
Friendly staff, nice rooms
Property location and breakfast are excellent.
Clean bedding and new washroom. Old building with rough spots. Nice staff
It was ok
Rooms are to small, maybe that is a practice in Denmark
Excellent place to sleep during long layover
Hotel is very convenient Near. metro station
The room was dirty and we do not have electricity in the room, Stains on carpets
It was a bit further a walk than expected but otherwise all is good for a 12 hour layover
Staff was very nice
The location was not an easy walk to the international terminal at the airport - it was just over 1km, and with heavy suitcases and bags, this is not ideal. No phone or fridge in the room. Staff were friendly, in the Scandinavian way. Not particularly quiet, and the area around the hotel didn't seem the safest.
Bathroom was yuck bed was horrible for the price they need to renovate this place if you really want to save $10 stay here. But I would look elsewhere first
It was a little too far from the airport to walk to in the rain, but in better weather I would have done that rather than pay $20.00 for a 5 minute taxi ride. It's only a 5 minute walk to a metro stop. I had to leave for a very early flight before breakfast service started, so they gave me a bag with 3 pieces of fruit, two granola bars, crackers, and orange juice to go
To say it’s an airport hotel is stretching it to the extreme. It is a fair distance from the airport. Area was not great - lots of noise and people hanging round the streets. The hotel in need of refurb especially the rooms. Staff very helpful though.
The Best Western Plus Airport Hotel Copenhagen was dirty and inconvenient for our overnight stay. The rooms were dirty and have not been upgraded in decades. No AC (although we were fortunte that the temperatures were cool enough to not need it. VERY basic conditions. I would not recommend this property.
The common areas were worn and the hallways had major work being done. The back of the hotel backs right up to mediocre apartment housing. The room was decent and serviceable, though dated. However, there is an excellent restaurant right next door that is highly recommended. Getting to the airport is quick and easy.
Not great
The hotel is very tired, needs a refresh. Stains on the carpet, tap didn’t flow properly, no cup or coffee in the room.
Convenientnand close to CPH
This is a very basic hotel about 15 min walk from the airport which is its main advantage. Room is basic but clean. No fan or air conditioning. Bathroom with hand soap only. Worn carpets and sad looking curtains. Lobby is nice with open areas for sitting and working. There is a breakfast buffet in the morning but it is not included with the hotel stay. I did not try it.
Not the best airport hotel
We were offered no refund for our hotel . We canceled due to many horrible reviews. A refund would have brought us back to Best Western and Hotels.com. We will be using another website and different chain in the future.
Dirty bathrooms, tons of ongoing construction inside, unhelpful service - the bathroom sink was not draining, and when I told reception they said they would send someone up to look at it and they never did. Several hours later I went down again to remind them and then someone took a look. Hotel is somewhat close to the airport, not so close that it's worth staying at though.
The location was convenient to restuarants and ground transportation
Very basic. Only one type of soap for hair and body washing. No hair conditioner, lotion or wash clothes. No usb to charge phones
The hotel was close to the airport which was convenient for our layover. The staff was nice and helpful while checking in, but the hotel needs updating.
We stayed here during an overnight layover at the Copenhagen airport. 20 minute walk from the airport to the hotel. It was fine for this purpose. Restaurants and grocery stores right nearby. Hotel could use some upgrades in decor. Staff at the desk was excellent.
Convient,safe..great night sleep. Yes,carpets need replacing ..but beds are soft and everything clean. The brunch (which is extra) is outrageously good! They had absolutely everything, including amazing bread that you cut yourself. Whats weird is the lobby is super cool and hip and the rest of the hotel in shambles. Great location,we walked there from airport and it’s safe.
Probably one of the poorest if not the poorest hotel i stayed at. The staff is not welcoming and friendly at all and the facilities are shocking I showers were the poorest I've ever seen and they didn't care to repair or make it at least look presentable
The entire floor was torn up for construction. None of these rooms should’ve been let out.
I have stayed there before, but they were doing maintenance on their water supply so it was a little inconvenient. Hopefully next time it will be more attractive!
First of all, I was booking this hotel because of proximity to the airport. Yes it is walking distance around 20 minutes, other reason, was a breakfast, I was sure this hotel coming with a breakfast, we were short on time in the morning. So breakfast some how was not included., have to check with Expedia. Please use an other option even if you are in a Rush
If you want an easy less expensive hotel near the airport this is your place. The whole place feels old despite newer decor. Fine for what we needed but not typical of our “Danish experience”.
The hotel is in a low income housing area and you cannot walk to it with luggage as you need to walk up and down many steps to a skyway over the street to get to the airport. Besides, it is not safe to walk there after dark alone. The taxis are very expensive and there are other hotels that are directly at the airport and connected via a skyway. The room and bathroom was very small and the door looked like it had been broken into before. The bed is terribly soft and lumpy. The breakfast was very good. Service does not exist.
Old hotel .The shower too weak and the wifi as well. OK. for one night transfer.
Huge rooms, clean and new
Do not recommend
A lot of noises from very early morning (5am), so you can’t sleep. You can hear neighbors all the time. Bed is very soft, not good for sleeping. Bathroom very old and not renovated.
Breakfast was great but the room was in bad shape. Carpet completely worn down to the backing in a large area. No way to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor.
So there was NO air conditioning, after I specifically asked about that when I called beforehand. When you open the windows, then it’s loud. There was also a big problem with the shower, so we couldn’t use that. They were very kind in taking care of that by compensating us for our breakfasts.
They wanted to charge an extra fee to check in early. There was no water until 4 pm!
Very basic hotel. Advertised as an airport hotel but was some miles from the airport.
Due for renovation
The glass doors to the bathroom were a little inconvenient.
Was very good
Dirty and room was smelling
Good place near the airport
Not a good property
The location is closer to Metro train station going to airport/Copenhagen Center
No a/c no phone in room only one person at front desk long wait to check in
Only if you can get it real cheap
The room had no AC, no phone, No refrigerator and the room above us leaked into our tub, which I could hear all night long
I was very upset that I was allocated a room That was near a lot of construction noise. Workers were drilling next door n it affected my sleep. It was very insensitive of hotel to do that.
I enjoyed the option for food and drinks in the lobby
Avoid this hotel
Avoid if possible. We chose that as we landed midnight in Copenhagen and were to take next flight 6am the next day. This hotel needs a major renovation. There was a bad smell everywhere. Carpets were really dirty. Lot of bugs outside the hotel so you can’t open the windows in the room and the ventilation was extremely poor in the room. Avoid at any cost
The hotel is undergoing renovations and the area around the hotel looks really run down and in need of repairs. The restaurant I went to across the street has there door smashed and not yet fixed but the food was good. It was really hot in the room and there was no way to adjust the heat and opening the window would have added more heat in.
A so-so stay.
Hotel was 1/2 mile from airport but if you did not know about the metro 5 minutes away, it was an awkward walk to get to it. It also had few places of interest next to it. Inside, the carpets in the hall and bedroom looked shabby. In fairness, a builders carpet was partially overlayed to protect from builders mess. Using the metro was cheap.
We were there for 5 mins and left for a better hotel. The carpet was dirty, flies all around the room, smell of sewage in the hallways. Totally disgusting! I’d demand a refund if I had the energy.
No thank you. Hotel was fine.
Great location, close to the airport and wonderful breakfast.
The room is small and so dated. Low maintenance, the drainage design is so poor that water go so slow. With the room rate that I paid, no second chance!
Adequate accommodations for an overnight stay after a long flight. Very close to the airport, safe neighborhood with several choices of places to eat. Comfortable bed, but room was very small. Nice buffet breakfast.
Garbage room very small very expensive
Not worth the cost.
For what should be perceived as an expensive hotel. The hotel was very much below the standard I would expect for the price. No internal noise isolation. I could hear people having chats throughout the night. Not ideal when this is supposedly an “airport hotel” even though it is 1.6km walk from the airport itself. The reception staff were helpful and extremely friendly but all in all wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Pay a little bit more and stay in one of the actual airport hotels.
It says Best Western Airport but it is far from Airport.
Builders work going on in the corridor
Good basic airport hotel with a good breakfast buffet. They do not have an airport shuttle but the hotel is fairly close to the airport.
Great location, close to the airport with 2 grocery stores and 3 restaurant options within a 2-minute walk. Metro stop 6-minute walk away to connect you to the city.
The property is very close and is serviced by light rail from and to the airport for overnight stay. However, the property needs a lot of maintence.
We stayed here for the night ahead of a very early morning flight. We checked in after 9pm and the gentleman in reception was super helpful and friendly. The family room was nice and big and we popped across the road for some pizzas for the kids (which were delicious). Overall comfortable stay and would book again if needing an airport hotel.
Very old building, horrible condition and smell, if you have allergies stay away. Room gets boiling hot and has not ac.
First of all, the place smelled strongly of dust. Secondly, they didn't clean our room when requested so that we had to make several trips downstairs to get towels, a duster, soap, shampoo, and coffee supplies. Also, the tv didn't work even after changing the battery. No air conditioning. We eat hotel I've ever stayed in.
Best Western Plus Airport Hotel Copenhagen | Hotel in Kastrup | Travala.com
Not only is the cab ride super expensive to go roughly a kilometer, but the property is not all that comfortable with limited blankets and pillows, and loud construction work beginning early in the morning before 8 am....not ideal when I arrived from my flight at 1 am. Better option to stay at one of the properties at the airport instead to skip the cab and hopefully get a more comfortable and convenient stay.
