The friendliness of the staff made it easy to check in.

Location is not pet friendly unless you pay 30 dollars non refundable plus deposit. Should not advertise pet friendly on site because it is to late to cancel once arriving.

This property was in a great area, walking distance from a Walmart, 20 minutes from downtown Houston depending traffic, also near the property restaurants, daiquiri shop, liquor store, dentist office, tractor supply, whatever I needed was within limits, this property was nice and clean for my short stay, staff was nice front desk and house keepers, no this property is not five star but it's reasonable and my stay again was comfortable

Surprised by room condition

Needed 2 hands to close or open door. Surprised door handle doesnt get ripped off. Also bathroom door couldn't close because door doesn't line up with frame. Shocked that front desk didn't seem surprised or care about the issues. She said "she'll let Maintenance know". Usually this hotel is perfectly fine when we visit, but we never stayed on this wing so we were suprised by the condition. Would have been nice for some ki d if adjustment on the bill for the room condition.

Staff was polite but the room needed updating. There were stains on the carpet and the ceiling fan vibrated and was noisy.

Deceptive photos

Unfortunately, after I arrived I realized that this was a Motel with the rooms on the outside which I don't like. Also, the Motel is basically on the edge of a Walmart parking lot that is separated by a row of bushes. None of which are depicted in the posted pictures. The room was fine but I will never stay here again for the aforementioned reasons.

Avoid properties tied to Expedia

I would highly discourage using expedia through hotels.com We met with an accident on our way to this property and had a 2 day booking for 2 rooms. The property directed us to talk to expedia ok the refund and hotels.com to either the property or expedia and expedia back to the property. Essentially, we were going in circles and nobody could assist with the refund causing us to lose close to $500. Worst management .

September 2024: Stains on floor, chair, bed, and towels. Room smelled very wet and musty. AC had loud grinding noise. No hot water one of the nights. Was disappointed. We had stayed here in March of 2023 and it was much better then.

Can't stay with Family at this property. And definitely the price was high with limited facilities and felt like unsafe place to stay.

I was surprised that it was a “Motel” the doors are outside. I went back to look and don’t see anywhere that I missed that information. The air conditioner had a hard time keeping up with the 100 degree heat. The first day there was a strong odor of marijuana outside the rooms. The beds were clean and comfy, but the room was just average.

Check in girl was horrible with no friendly attitude whatsoever, couldn't even say thank you, gave key card after paperwork and just walked away. Morning attending girl busy on her phone and had attitude when asked to refill breakfast bar area

Pool area set up nice but they closed it our only available day, all day, because a storm was coming in that night, after midnight. Phone would not connect to desk so we had to call the hotel main number to ask questions or for service. AC in room had a drip pan that kept filling up, overflowing. Carpet was wet. We called the desk but they never sent anyone up. Loud children and tv next door. Very nice comp breakfast. Very nice maintenance guy came back in our first night to fix our tv. Electricity went out Tues morning so no breakfast, no AC, no pool, no TV so we checked out a day early. The desk told us would probably not be up til at earliest Weds.

They placed my guest at the end of the property and gave him a previously smoked in room - he reported the hotel not being clean at all.

We had a nice one night stay no issues.

It was ok, the bathroom had hair on each corner of bathroom.

Rooms are big and very clean, staff is friendly, feel very safe at this hotel very close to shoping and dining. The pool is nice but water could be alot cleaner then what it was this last time we were there.

Best Western Inn Pearland

The room was clean, plenty of room to move around, included a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot and they offered free breakfast. The staff was friendly and when my wife came back from an outing and the entrance was blocked because of a party that was going on (not at the hotel), she had to park in the lot of a business next to the hotel. She called the front desk to find out if there was another way to get into the parking lot and I form them of the blocked driveway. The lady was very nice and informed us that she had already called the police and taken care of the matter and sure enough, about 10 minutes later, I went to check on the situation and move the car and everything was free and clear. We had no other issues and were quite happy with our stay.

On check in they said they only had smoking rooms and my reservation wasn’t refundable. Room smell so strong like weed it was miserable.

Online, they said they offer complimentary breakfast when they don't.

We weren’t at the hotel often but we thought it was good for what we paid. We didn’t get to experience the pool because of the weather but it looked nice! The beds were comfy & the shower was nice. Overall it was clean & convenient for our needs.

The building looked old. However, the rooms are very modern. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were really clean. My only issue is that I had to pay a $30 per day fee for my pet. I wasn’t informed of the fee when I booked the room through Expedia. I would have gone to a different hotel had I known of the fee.

Terrible room location. The room window had a great view of a brick wall. There was no excuse for using that room as the facility was not full . Nor did it fill up. Thought I had reserved a room but housekeeping was slow to clean the rooms.

Was very disappointed there wasn’t a breakfast as we expected.

The door didn't shut completely closed on room 121 and you could see daylight. Made us worry that bugs would get into the room

I always stay at Best Western in Pearland. The price is affordable and the rooms and service are always excellent.

The bed was as hard as a rock, and I could get better food at the convenience store for breakfast. Definitely not worth the cost of the room. And the room has a weird smell to it.

Rooms were recently remodeled. Bed was average, mattress was somewhat hard. Breakfast was mediocre at best, slow to be refilled when they ran out. Bananas were filled up on Saturday and it looked like the remaining ones were left on Sunday. Muffins quickly gone, bread slow to be refilled. Pancake machine broken on the second day. Overall decent, would consider staying again if the price is right.

Check in was very smooth and quick. Room was clean and quiet at night.

I did not like that my room wasn't cleaned when i left for the day did not make up the bed or clean up in the bathroom still had toothpaste i the sink. The only thing they did correctly was give me fresh towels.

after christmas flight

I had a great experience and the customer service was great there. I had a flight that came in late and I was told my room was canceled they fixed this issue because my flight had technical difficulties.

Very clean room and in good condition.

Stayed 3 nights on a weekend getaway. Quiet, clean facility. Manager and staff available when needed. Saw them tending to property daily. Comfortable and clean rooms. Well stocked. If I had to pick any areas that need improvement: pillows could be less rigid and please get a satellite tech out to properly set those dishes. A cloudy day should never interrupt a signal. 😁

The pool was very beautiful and relaxing. The continental breakfast was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice to have a ceiling fan in the room.

Good hotel. No issues with property, no issues with parking, no issues with room. But the staff doesnt have much idea on the reservation. Initially I was asking for good room with non smoking during reservation. But the staff said they have a non smoking room with key not working. So everytime go out i need to let the staff know so that they open the room for me, which us kind of weird. Then I am forced myself to get the smoking room. But the room is okay and good. No complaints.

Over all just Ok .. only convenient for our family to visit near by places. Breakfast could have been better

Not what I was expecting. Our room smelled like straight up marijuana and cigarettes . Floors were slippery, the walls, trim bathroom were sticky. We were all slipping and sliding. We had to go to Walmart, to purchase plug ins, and cleaning products to help with the smell and from falling. I completely understand that the hotel allows smoking, but something has to change. That cleaning fee you all charging needs to be increased and house keeping needs training. Will not ever come back here again.

Hotel was dated, with outside entrance. However, it was clean and quiet; we appreciated the air conditioning in the rooms and how clean it was. would stay here again.

Clean and good stay

Nice, no frills, hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights, the room was clean and spacious. The air conditioner worked well. The coffee was good, it was a little chilly so we didn't swim but the pool area was really nice and the pool water was beautiful. They provided a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and iron. We had very pleasant stay. Always glad to get back to the room after a long day.

Thanksgiving week stay

Spent 5 nights there. Only had full maid service 2 days. Front desk was not covered at check-in time.

The second morning at this hotel I woke up with bites all over my body. Once I got up and flipped the sheets I found bed bugs in my bed.

Best Western a great place to stay

The staff was amazing very friendly. The beds are very comfortable the TVs are big. It is very nice place it is quiet. Right beside Walmart and an awesome Mexican restaurant. I give it five stars

My hubby and I stopped here for one night. It seems like a newer hotel. Check in was fairly simple. Pretty laid back and quiet. The rate was very reasonable. They offer breakfast and have a washer/dryer available for $1. We tood a quick dip in the pool, it was small but clean. It sits adjacent to Walmart so you can walk over to grab snacks or cleaning supplies if needed. Nice little spot for those who travel or on the road. We'll definitely return
