The only small issue was noise from other rooms. Walls seemed a bit thin.
It was close to the city center and clean very nice hotel
Great hotel
Convenient location in the center
My family and I recently stayed here for a couple of nights in March. The accommodation is as pictured and the staff was friendly, especially housekeeping - we were always greeted with a ‘buon giorno’ in the mornings. We chose this hotel because it’s conveniently located near to attractions such as the Colosseum and Roman Forum. It is also right by the Manzoni Metro Station, making it easy to get into and out of the heart of the city. This was beneficial as this was our first trip travelling with our baby. The room is equipped with your usual toiletries, including comfortable slippers. It also has useful amenities such as a mini bar and safe. As we stayed on the cusp of spring, the room was hot for the majority of our time there. The air conditioning was only on for one particularly hot afternoon, then remained off for the duration of our stay. We were also in a room by the main road, which was quite noisy. However, as the beds and pillows were comfortable, we did manage to get some sleep. Unfortunately, my daughter and I ended up with some odd bite marks during our stay; not sure from what, which is unsettling. All things considered our stay was just satisfactory.
The hotel is in an excellent location near to everything one would need for a vacation in Rome. The front desk staff not so nice. We asked for a wake up call on the departure morning and never received it. The cleaning was excellent! The room was clean and welcoming each day we returned to it.
we will stay again.
Ana at the front desk was very nice and helpful. CJ of housekeeping was very helpful too.
We were overcharged-we were charged twice for our stay on our card. Disappointed.
Not the best experience at all..
Room is old and not updated. Sink and shower drain was clogged. Room was hot as hell and they say they don’t turn a/c on on winter. Really it was spring… Food expensive with few variety. Location is ok but definitely this is a 2 star hotel and not as they promoted it.
Great hotel but location is a little too far from attractions.
Location was good. Nice staff. I didn't like they didn't have an ironer, had to call and ask for one. Hotels usually have one in the room.
It is very close to metro
Great property and location. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet catering to dietary requirements
From housekeeping to front desk and the bar, the hotel is great, and they go out of their way to help. It's a nice hotel for a good price in a convenient location.
Had parking available, breakfast had plenty of options, and the hotel had everything I wanted/needed
Great location and hotel 5*
Great location and hotel 5*
The room was okay but the bath tub would accumulate water/was clogged up which in my opinion was dangerous as we could have slipped.
It was a great location. Hotel was nice our room was very nice but only negative we could hear our neighbors very loudly. Very thin walls Room attendant was awesome!!!
This property was perfect! The rooms were great and divided for our kids to have an area and their own bathroom. Definitely walkable to the historical sites and near the main train terminal!
Great accomodation and service. We enjoyed our stay.
good
Good fitness center, great breakfast.
Great location, within walking distance of the train station and colosseum. The breakfast buffet is really good, definitely better than any I've had in the U.S. Good fitness center...that's very important to me, and most hotels I looked at in Rome didn't have one. The staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. Only negative is the shower doors only go halfway across the shower which means water ends up all over the bathroom floor. Apparently this is common in Italian hotels but this means a lot more towels are used every day which means wasting energy and water - not eco-friendly.
Great location, staff, and property.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and decent size for Europe. Great breakfast for 16 Euro. Great location - steps from Metro stop, 15 minute walk to Colosseum, close to Termini station. Would definitely stay there again.
Very clean, professional staff and close to many amenities.
This hotel is very close to a number of amenities including the coliseum, dining and the metro. From this location you will be able to get anywhere in Rome in literally minutes. The staff were very friendly and professional and the room was very clean.
Great hotel ! Very comfortable and staff is wonderful . Our room was big, and spacious and very clean !
The room I was staying is facing the Main Street and it’s been very noisy even overnight (sirens and garbage clearing, people honking etc). The walls are also very thin. I could hear people using the bathroom in the middle of the night. The room is very spacious but the condition is only average.
The property is in a very rundown part of Rome. The hotel is very old and has not been updated. The toilet did not operate correctly, and the sink did not drain.
Close to metro station. This was the reason we choose this hotel. Breakfast is excellent! The best of all days we spent in Italy. The location is also convenient but not a “pretty” area. Staff is polite but very reserved, nothing wrong with that.
Staff was kind and amazing !!!
Great breakfast options! Clean rooms and right next to a train station (important!) .
Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again
expensive
Price is not validated for a hotel of that quality.
It was a very easy walk to the Colosseum. And the metro was right out the door. The staff was very helpful. Would stay at it again.
Real close to Metro and only two stations from Termini center of town. Easy to get to Vatican and Colosuem. Place was clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
I loved the family room, two small rooms but perfect for the four of us. Two bathrooms was a definite plus. Right next to subway entrance which made all the difference and short 10-12 minute walk to colosseum. Great experience.
Good location, large clean room and friendly front desk service. Great choice if you want to see the Colosseum and other main tourist areas. Excellent choices for dining within easy walking distance. Great value for the money here.
The rooms were very spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast provided a large variety of food and beverages . I loved the chocolate croissants and pastries. There was a nice bar with th comfortable seating. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was only a 20 minute walk to the Coliseum and Forum. Taxi and shuttle service was also available. Great hotel for Rome.
Easy walk to the metro 5 meters. Room are great and good selection for breakfast.
Bathroom.. too high tub for any child or elderly to climb down. Also, the tub has a glass on it that does not cover very small area of tub causing water to spill out when using shower. Definitely, the bath is not set up for shower. Service was very good and staff very helpful.
My family enjoyed this hotel. Very clean , staff is wonderful ! Eager to help and make your stay very nice and easy. Good breakfast and many options . Thanks to Guido at the front desk and the staff for their help and support . Definitely will stay here again . The Rivera family
The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Walls were a bit thin and could hear traffic noise but great location for us and steps away from public transit lines. Also fit our budget!
Very clean and feels new room, having 2 full bathrooms is incredible, good transportation options, coliseum was 20 minutes walk, very friendly and helpful staff, not many options at the buffet breakfast; the other side is that there is a lot of noise, I feel that the walls and floors are very thin, you can hear footsteps and water from other rooms
Street noise
Hotel is located pretty close to the city center, and sightseeing spots. The bus and subway station are within minutes walk. The facility itself is in very good condition and clean. Staff are very friendly and ready to help. I did see, though, some drunker and/or beggars in the nearby street which is common to many downtowns around the world. All in all, a good place to stay in downtown Rome.
Is a nice hotel for the price paid. Best thing is that it has the train station (subway) right in front of it.
Comfy and Connected
Perfect location with wonderful neighborhood stores and the oldest Gelateria in Italy.
A WONDERFUL STAY
THE HOTEL & ROOM WERE VERY CLEAN & COMFORTABLE. THE STAFF WERE AMAZING! FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS & VERY HELPFUL. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS WONDERFUL. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN & RECOMMENDED.
Honeymoon in Rome
Visited here on our honeymoon. This hotel was good, not great. Our greeting was minimal from the front desk lady, flat affect. They are willing to hold luggage before & after check out which was helpful. The room was dated but comfortable. The bed was 2 twin beds pushed together, but comfortable. The bathroom seemed clean and came with toiletries. The AC was horrible. The nights were quite hot even with the AC on high and the window shades closed all day.
Good location
Better hotel to stay at in Rome than most. Clean and friendly staff. The area is noisy because it is on a main intersection. It is close to the metro- Manzoni stop- very convenient to take metro line A to all the main attractions around Rome.
Convenient location
This was second time to stay here. Next to Manzoni station. Colosseum is in 15 minutes walk. Busy area but did not hear noise. Reception is friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious. Value for money. We stayed in few hotels in Rome before, this is the best one so far. Unfraternally, a kettle did not work at one of my family's room. No big deal.
Had a great stay at Hotel President. Really comfy king bed, pillow menu available, although we were happy with the standard pillows. Slippers and toilwtries were also provided (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion). Hotel was very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent with a range of hot items to complement the extensive cold selection. Lots of breads to choose from, fresh whole and prepared fruit, loads of cakes and pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, salad, pancakes, fizz. Also lovely coffee to order and provided almond milk for the vegan in our party. Fresh coffee was provided in the lobby in the morning along with chilled water, and pastries also mid morning. There is a small gym with a couple of treadmills, stepper, Technogym resistance multigym and dumbells. Manzoni Metro station at the front door, decent restaurants within a short walk. Hotel recommended Il Tempio de Minerva which was excellent. Would return here.
Great staff, easy check it.
Awesome Hotel in a Great Area To Walk Rome
My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is in a great location to see the city, the service is excellent, the breakfast is awesome, and the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day in Rome so we could further explore the city. I definitely recommend staying here.
Friendly and convenient hotel. Good breakfast. Only criticism was so hot in the room. Though 21 degrees, staff stated no air-con as still Winter (March).
Stayed with the family for 3 nights. It is very conveniently located. The staff was very nice and helpful. The quadruple room that we booked had two full bathrooms, which needless to say was extremely useful with a family of 4 adults. Will wholeheartedly recommend this property.
The Air Conditioning was turned off for the year and we were told the Heat was on. We were told the heat would be turned off to our room. We opened the windows and the rooms filled up with Mosquitos, at one point I counted nine at one time on the walls and roof. We had stayed here before, but never again.
The hotel is much than I expect.
Helpful front office manager who helped us when a driver from the airport tried charging us €136 for a €55 ride. All staff was pleasant and helpful Hotel was clean and room was adequate with basic amenities.
Have some problem trying to understand the air cons settings but the staff were really helpful.
Staff were good. Didn’t like the shower style. No complementary water in the room.
Breakfast wasnt good, but staff and room were wonderful
Nice place. Quiet sleep and dark room to get most out of your rest. Service at front desk was very professional
Perfect location
Fantastic hotel and service. Super clean and comfortable. Service was wonderful. The streets around the hotel were dirty but this wasn’t the fault of the hotel, just the city. Having the Metro stop right out front of the hotel was also very convenient. You can get just about anywhere in the city in minutes for cheap.
Area was a little seedy with graffiti. Would not walk at night
Needs action
The condition and location of the hotel is very good. Have stayed at hotel several times previously 10 years ago. Mattress was unacceptably uncomfortable, and now have a sore back that may require physic. Was also disappointed with airport transfer organised, paid 55 euros to travel with other passengers, with private taxi's fixed at 50 euros. Not happy with these 2 items.
Great hotel, close to the Collosiem. The breakfast was outstanding.
My wife and I enjoyed this location. This room was much bigger than our first trip to Rome and bathroom was spacious. Literally 50 steps to the metro with two stops to Termini for $1.50 or termini is a twenty minute walk. Convenient store one block down. American breakfast, multi lingual staff elevator gym.
It is relatively clean but a bit outdated
Great hotel
This is an excellent hotel.
The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. Overall a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again if I visit Rome.
The hotel was great but located in a poorer section of Rome with homeless individuals sleeping on nearby streets. Overall, we found Rome to be dirty with few garbage receptacles and, what there was, overflowing onto sidewalks and streets.
I think the restaurant on site provided some good food but did not see a variety of choices. This would have made the dining exeprience much better.
Mentioned above what I liked and there wasn't much to dislike
This was a great property in a easily accessible area. There is a metro stop just outside and only a short walk to the Colosseum and Roman forum. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The only negative was the dining options. We didn't see the restaurant open throughout our stay and the bar had a very limited menu available.
The staff was excellent and very helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Metro was right next to hotel. 15 minutes to walk to the colosseum. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.
Great hotel and staff. Only issue we had was with the hotel transfer service to the airport. The taxi forced an additional 20 Euros from us for being late 5 mins, even though he made us wait almost 20 mins at the airport because his credit card terminal was not working. The hotel should not hire the same driver/company for future guests of the hotel.
Great location
The front desk staff don't smile or say greetings to customers. I felt like I was in a government office.
Front desk was wonderful as well as the lady that cleaned my room.
Liked the proximity to Termini, forums and other Roman sites. Right on the subway line. Rooms are relatively small comparing to North American standards. Very thin wall with almost no sound insulation. Would stay in this hotel again.
The staff were very friendly, and answered all of our questions regarding, how to get to various places. The rooms were clean, bright and quite modern. The breakfast buffet was well worth the price, with a lot of choices in food and beverages available.
It’s a good location near Collosium, a few walks away from the train station where you can visit Trevi fountain and other attractions.
The staff are all friendly. It's closed to grocery stores, restaurants and Metro station (Manzoni).
Safe and clean
Trouble at check in, but management took care of check in with no hold up of getting our rooms before problem was solved. Staff was great and very professional. Rooms clean and comfortable. Rooms a little small, but safe and comfortable. Close too everything we wanted to see. Thanks for a great stay!
Clean & neat
ok
Excellent place to stay and 5 star service. Near a train starion that can tske you everywhere in the city.
Arriving at this hotel, and seeing the room, I was definitely caught off guard! The picture taken of the hotel which is displayed, gives off the impression that this is a very nice, neat, and clean hotel! I won’t say it was disgusting because that’s pushing it, but it definitely wasn’t what we were expecting! If it wasn’t all the way in Rome, and we hadn’t already paid for the room, we would have definitely changed hotels. Location is great because it’s close to everything, but it just wasn’t somewhere we would’ve stayed if we would’ve seen it in person before booking!
Centrally located and well managed. Has good breakfast option.
Be aware of extremely busy and noisy road where hotel is located. Woke up at 5am due to noise everyday. Staff is ok but not apologetic at all. Decor is dated, wifi is poor, and lifts are tiny - on multiple ocasions had to take the stairs after waiting 5-10min for a lift. There are better and more centrally located options in Rome.
Very good
horrific customer service. Please do yourself a favor and avoid booking at this hotel as they lack empathy in their customer service
It was actually in a really good location probably a mile give or take from the Colosseum. It was next to great transportation via bus or train. Lots of options around for restaurants in everything to.
Nice room. Very thin walls. Snoring of guy next door kept my wife awake most of the night.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and the location was convenient for me. It would be nice if the hotel could provide an ice machine
