Family suite for the night. Upstairs bedroom had a tv but no power cord. Also no breakfast on offer. Very comfortable beds and huge value for price. Will be staying again.

I had a pleasant enough room, but, I had to ask for an adapter for the bed side lights as they were fitted with american plugs. A couple of the lights in the room and bathroom were not working, and the wardrobe door was broken. No breakfast on Saturdays and public holidays was not good!

Close to where we needed to be over the weekend. Staff were great. Could do some minor fixes to the unit, but would not stop us booking there again.

Great staff - friendly, helpful and prepared to go the extra mile in providing early check in. Rooms are a bit tired but fit for purpose.

Very pleasant stay

The rooms were clean and nice beds, linen and towels. Good shower pressure. Nice to have air con/heat pump. The kids enjoyed the pool. Great to have the option of dining there as well, although it is only 2 minutes drive to shops and restaurants. The only negative was the level of noise at night. We were staying opposite the reception area, and the noise from constant loud cars and police sirens, and then a group of intoxicated people outside our room from midnight for about half an hour, made it very difficult to sleep.

Super convenient as only a 15-20 drive to Auckland city and a 5-10 min walk to Ellerslie cafes etc. plenty of parking and great that there is no additional charge.

It was so great, stayed for work, got up very early, bed was excellent as was the shower

Although was a refurbished unit, street noise and next units noise was too much. Bed was lacking support. Way too soft for king bed, edges just folded away when sit on the edge. Light at unit door not working, same for a few other units. Trying to open door in the dark lol.

The perfect situation so close to the Southern Motorway and a short hop to the city,

Just a one night stay for us after attending an event at the ASB showgrounds. Very easy to find and very comfortable room. Bed was a bit hard for us.

Clean and tidy - it was nice and quiet considering how busy the area is.

Great place to stay, handy for the motorway. So very easy to get around. Pubic transport is near by too. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great value for a convenient, clean accommodation and courteous staff. A shame the restaurant was closed on weekends.

Awesome place to stay

Awesome service from the moment we arrived. Everything was great, clean, tidy and the staff were very helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it.

Friendly staff. Clean room. But unfortunately the aircon up stairs wasnt working. The dishwasher was broken and the showerhead and tap looked like it was about to fall off. Brought it up with the staff and they getting it sorted. Would stay there again.

Friendly staff, but we thought the property looked much more modern in the photos, it really was quite a basic hotel.

Great staff, and location was within walking distance of several good restaurants and small shops.

Great stay

The staff were helpful friendly and giving, the room was clean and tidy, but rundown in some areas. The dishwasher was visibly broken, the upstairs tv was hard to use and the upstairs air conditioner didn’t seem to work on any setting. Not sure if they just required some instructions. The breakfast was great though and catered for our allergies, something we did not expect. Would have been great at a lower price point.

Room was ok but the air conditioning unit leaked water all through our belongings. Had to turn it off and room was very hot without it.

Wet floor from dripping/leaking sky light. If we had options here or at a hotel reasonably nearby we would have asked for our money back and moved but no such options were available.

This was a great selection for my overnight stay in Auckland. BTW, the wifi is FREE. The description on Expedia says it is a hourly charge of $19.95. This must be outdated information. It was something I was willing to forgo. But arriving at such a nice, friendly hotel only to learn the wifi was including, made it that much better a stay. Will visit again when needed, or just when the wife and I need getaway.

Woke up in 1989

Checkin was quick and efficient. This place has not been updated in years. It felt like I was waking up in 1989. Bed was sagging, soft and just plain worn out. Shower was very difficult to turn on without it spraying all over the room.

Great property. We had a refurbished room with a fantastic shower! Very clean and comfortable.

The room was extremely tired and needed to be updated. When traveling with children would be good to have a more modern TV for the likes of Netflix etc. The restaurant also wasn't open for dinner or breakfast on a Saturday night which was not helpful as their website stated restaurant and breakfast onsite

My siblings and I only stayed the night but area is nice and quite, handy and close to shops centre's and stadium. Place was so nice and clean

Good property for stay when you are out for most of the time doing other activities - not a luxury stay - but good none the less.

Our unit was really tidy and clean. We had gone to stay here as we were going to Eden Park to watch the Rugby. It was convenient and we were able to easily walk into town for a drink and easily get to the stadium. It was safe and quiet, the shower so good and the bed really really comfy and it was a great stay. We would recommend and stay again for sure. . Thank you so much

Convenient place to stay, tidy and quiet. Shower didn't work very well, and the single bed was too soft, but overall a pleasant stay.

I liked everything about our room except that there were no sheer window curtains or tinting so the curtains had to be closed for privacy which then leaves you in a dark room. Also the wall lights were directly where your head is if sitting in bed. Otherwise it was lovely and I would definitely stay again.

The staff were so accommodating here, welcoming , helpful and great responses to any email queries we had before heading to Auckland. Had a car so was so easy to get around and go back roads to places to miss the traffic. Nice and close to Onehunga outlet mall. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, price wasn't too high. That room needs an electrician though (this was passed on to Reception at checkout).

The room was great and very clean. It was super quiet too. Unfortunately the mattress was absolutely horrible. Worst bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Not sure how this property gets a four star rating.

Clean room and friendly staff but overall pretty run down and felt it was overpriced for what it was.

Was not aware it was going through a remodel with scaffolding all around the perimeter. Parking is awful. Definitely not sound proof! Doors are sliders. Staff very courteous. Check in was seamless. First Best Western where I had to pay for a continental breakfast so opted out and walked to nearby restaurants.

Was a really good over all experience, 2nd time staying here but this time we booked the grand apartment instead of just one room! Was really spacious and very appealing to look at! Also a great price! One down side was between the hours of 12-6 am there was a very loud almost old air conditioning sound that would stop and start every hour not sure what it was but made it slightly hard to sleep. Thought it could’ve been the laundry situated below us going off maybe? Not sure but was a good experience overall!

Wasn't a bad hotel but definitely not worth US $126 a night. There was ugly scaffolding all around it (roof repair/replacement) and some ramshackle aspects like damaged benchtop and some concrete stair risers replaced with decking timber. In our room (no.13) the clock-radio in the bedroom was broken as was a security stay on the bedroom window. However, the bed was comfortable and it was clean. For well over NZ$220, I expected better, though.

Property is in good shape, much nicer than previous reviews indicate. Good size rooms, full kitchen in one corner, space for luggage and small closet. Very quiet, in 5 days only heard other guests once! Restaurant on site for breakfast, ends too early at 9, and dinner. Delicious food but expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to cafes in Ellerslie. Self serve guest laundry is not available, contrary to website… Outside parking free, at your door!

We booked 1 queen and two twin beds, the room had two queen beds. We could hear the people above us. The toilet door handle and blinds were broken, not all of the lights worked. The dryer and washing machine were next to our room and we could also hear these working in the night

would be excellent for family with the 2 queen beds and 2 singles,needs a tiny upgrade and will be perfect. The privacy of 3 separate sleeping areas is a bonus

Very impressed with the location and the quietness of the room I was in.

The Premium twin Room was clean. The Beds had very soft mattresses which gave us a really sore back, and resulted in a very poor night's sleep. The Shower was good , the wash hand basin had a large crack through the middle, the extractor fan did not work. All towels and bed linen were clean..The coffee/Tea making facilities were clean and worked, and the TV was also in working order.

Stairs up tō bedroom too steep

Reception lady was very helpful anything I wanted to know she was able to answer and friendly. Stayed for 3 nights, on the 1st morning house keeping was done getting fresh towels etc and we had dishes, which were washed in hand basin in bathroom as there was no kitchen sink, was going to mention at Reception but I forgot. Would have thought they would be taken away to a kitchen sink to be washed.

Friendly helpful staff, check-in was great. Great location for concerts at Mt Smart, but they know that and bump their prices. No sink in the kitchen meant there are hidden veges under the bathroom plug :)

It is within walking distance of mount smart stadium, if you have a level of fitness, but maybe not so easy during heavy rain.

Stayed the night of “the big flood” for Elton John concert. Staff were amazing at looking after us. Room was clean, dry and super comfortable. Great beds. Had everything we needed.
