Great staff

Hot tub was not working during our stay but cleanliness of rooms and friendliness of staff was amazing.

Title: Disappointing Pool and Breakfast Experience We stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable experience, but a few issues stood out. The pool was so cloudy that we couldn’t see the bottom, even at just 5 feet deep, which raised cleanliness concerns. Breakfast was also frustrating—only one staff member was handling multiple tasks, including making eggs in the microwave, refilling milk, and taking out the trash, while also insisting on making guests’ waffles instead of letting us do it ourselves. This led to long wait times and unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, the stay was not as smooth as we had hoped.

The stay was okay wish it was more up to date. The staff was wonderful everyone there was very helpful and friendly. Will stay again

The check in was easy and convenient. The front desk clerk was very informative. We enjoyed our stay here.

Overall it was a good stay. Parking was safe, the location was great in proximity to things, waffles were amazing and the customer service was great. However, the beds were not comfortable (if you like very firm they are for you). Because housekeeping only comes if requested I would make a recommendation to have another trash can in the room then just the two very small ones you have. Lastly, not sure which employee it was but there was one Thursday morning and Saturday morning (both very early (around 6am) who was clearly playing video games in the office behind the front desk. Only noticed because the gun sounds were loud.

Dogs keep me up all morning

There is a dog boarding place next door and the dogs start barking around 4am and keep barking so terrible place to spend the night

Checking in was a breeze, very accommodating.

The desk and breakfast staff were excellent- The room had a strong musty smell we reported to the front desk they claimed to have changed the air conditioner filter it smelled better for only about 1 day then the smell slowly came back- would be helpful if the motel had more info about the public transportation and maybe even sold tickets to the VIA city bus since there is a bus stop outside the motel would be easy to hop on and get into the city for alot less than a taxi ride-

Easy access from freeway. Convenient to downtown but a little too far to walk to all tourist attractions. Friendly staff, good hot breakfast, comfortable rooms with good amenities. The price was less than other comparable hotels in the area.

We secured two rooms. One was nice the other not so nice. The poor room had obviously been two separate rooms that were combined into a three room setup with a bathroom in between two bed rooms. Was just really odd and noisy with elevator right by door. Location is near River walk but in a more depressed area. We had no problems though and the staff was very nice.

Clean, comfortable enough. Firm mattresses. Very quick drive/medium walk to Riverwalk, Alamo etc. not much around location tho.

Good location & room

We loved it. The only thing was is it's located next to a dog boarding/grooming center and we heard them barking all night.

Very nice staff and accomadations

We enjoyed the hot tub but it wasn’t too hot. The kids seemed to enjoy the pool. Room was nice with lots of room. Cooling/heating unit worked well. Shower was very nice. It was located close to lots of things (river walk, Alamo, etc) Traffic was difficult with lots of one way streets and construction. Breakfast was the usual fare but she did keep it stocked very well. We would stay at this place again. Lots of parking in the back.

The dogs next door were loud all morning when trying to sleep late. There is a boarding business across the street

Breakfast daily and it's not a continental breakfast. We had waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage and a variety of other real food. Would definitely stay again if I was ever in that area.

The front desk, cleaning and breakfast staffs were friendly. No elevator. One stairway was closed. The working stairway was dirty with debris on the ground most of the time. The bedding was old.

Everyone was extremely friendly and the facility was nice.

Dogs barking

Room was ok but my room was facing the dog kennel and you can hear the dogs barking very early. Suggest get thicker windows.

My room was comfy, if a bit dated. New vessel sink, lots of towels, comfy bed, no real complaints! Breakfast was standard except for great, hot muffins.

Amazing hotel

It was a wonderful hotel I had a room with another room upstairs it was a double king I would choose this hotel again for sure breakfast was good and everyone was really friendly plus indoor pool and hot tub Its only a 2 min drive to the Riverwalk

Great stay, but

Everything was great. The elevator was out of order. I was on the 3rd floor.

Property was a little tight as far as accessibility. The room was a little worn down and could use some repairs, especially in the restroom.

It was nice and quiet all the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. I will definitely stay here again.

The property itself is lovely and a great price. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. While the location is technically walkable to the river walk, I don’t recommend it. It’s in a sketchy area with lots of wide, heavily trafficked streets. The free self-parking is nice and was a big factor in choosing this property.

Would stay again

Overall stay good. Good location close to everything downtown. However hotel location is sketchy. No incidents occurred just the feel it givrs. Room was very spacious. Breakfast was ur typical free breakfast but was good and clean area. Only complaint neighboring room had tv on extremely loud all night. Called front desk but dont think anything was done bout it

Just fair..

Price was good for 2 kings sized beds and a pull out. Nothing fancy and the staff wasn’t friendly. The breakfast was terrible, and the second day we were there many breakfast things were completely out- like orange juice. And the heated pool was freezing!!! Not bad for money but probably won’t stay there again.

Great holiday stay

Perfect stay for a family of 5. Furnishings are a little outdated, and all carpets could be deep washed for better aesthetics. Pool is not heated. Plenty of space in the room w 2 king beds. Staff answered and addressed all room issues immediately. Beds were comfortable. Suited for our needs, basically sleep needs.

It was a very good trip. The staff was very courteous, and helpful. The room was very clean and cool. Enjoyed this trip.

Banged my leg on the metal framed bed. I was hoping the charger ports were more up to date. No type c chargers, thats what i get for forgetting my charger adapter. The smell was pleasant but very overwhelming and strong on the second floor. Staff was nice and welcoming. Shower was nice and hot, bed was comfortable besides the metal frame cold and hard. Overall, a good experience .

Nice little hotel extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Doesnt look like much from the outside, rate was in the higher side but very clean and comfortable.

It was a fair experience. Clean enough to stay, has a good parking lot. But there is a daily care house for dogs across the hotel and after 6 am you can’t sleep due to dogs’ barking.

Very good location, close to restaurants, easy freeway access, loved the balcony! Very spacious with 2 kings in the suite

Came in for a night. Room was very roomy, clean, staff was great, breakfast was your typical hotel food. The indoor pool was a plus more so the jacuzzi. Will definitely be back if im looking for a room close to downtown without all the extra of staying in downtown.

Absolutely amazing. It was an unexpected stay, we were very tired. While checking in I asked if we could have a later checkout and my request was honored without any issues. Thank you, Mr.Patel.

Cozy and comfortable!

We had a nice comfortable stay at BW Alamo Suites, everything we needed was provided, our balcony was nice for outside views and air, the pool and hot tub were clean and available, breakfast was cozy, the room had coffeepot, microwave, mini fridge and cups provided, we enjoyed our stay!

Close enough to the highlights of san antonio but not all in the super crowded area. Easy to uber if need to. Affordable too. Very accommodating

Overall, nice stay. Only minor issue with toilet paper holder, one side’s crew was loose, nearly hanging to the wall, house keeping personnel should have reported for repair.

My kids enjoyed the indoor pool

It was deceiving looking from the outside, but the rooms were nice and the breakfast was good.

Everybody was very nice that’s really really comfortable pillows. Not sure you can see a golf course anyway the woman that does the breakfast very nice. stay there again.

Property was dated, carpet in the hallways was worn. Room was ok, beds were clean and comfortable. Did notice carpet had some holes in it and the bathroom floor had not been mopped in some time.

No room to park and bad neighborhood

Very noisy. Loud noises outside the room kept us awake all night. Room, bedsheets, blanket and bathroom was dirty. Room was smelly and dirty all around.

We kept hearing dog barking & realized kennel was across the street.

The lady who received us was very helpful. The checkout fellow was very disturbed and was unwilling to help out. The place was clean and quiet.

Hotel is very close to expressway, the inside is very nice and everything is well maintained

Staff was great, parking is secluded with only one way in and out, even by foot, helps add to the security level.
