Nice
Unbelievable.
Firstly dont even think of booking a tour from them. Just a team of Con artists. The rooms were drab but cleanish. The breakfast was a joke. And the rest of the food was was worse. Every thing had tobe bought in aftre ordering and then cooked an average wait of around 1 and half hours. We orders burger and chips twice and when it came it was 1 half cooked burger and a bag of crisps and ask us to share it.
-Hotel had too much repairs being done -TV was not working -Room phone was not working -White powder on hotel walls would come off on your clothes or skin if you brushed against them -walls had cracks -towels were brown -pillow case and pillows are worn -sheets are brown/black -Horses and camel smells right at the front door
I really enjoyed my stay, I was treated exceptional and having airport transportation both ways was a major plus as I arrived at 3AM and departed at 2AM and this was included in my hotel reservation at no additional cost. The area was safe and the staff made me feel like family. Ashraf, the front desk night manager, offered me food and refreshments upon my arrival, very attentive. Mahmoud was prompt and anticipated my needs when it came time to relax on the rooftop, with that amazing view of the pyramids. George was the hotel driver who went above and beyond helping me get a sim card for my cellphone. The chefs there spoiled me and made very delicious traditional dishes that are vegan friendly, fillled with flavor. They really take pride in thier food. The owner, Adam was onsite and a very kind man. I am a solo traveler that really appreciated the personal attention. larger hotels don't feel as welcoming. I will definitely return here, I feel like I made genuine connections. Five stars all the way!
The property was nothing like the photos advertised on Expedia. The bath towel was horrible, I did not touch it for my entire stay. The bathroom was unclean, the shower was dirty, there was no body wash nor soap made available for a bath. The hot water would run out before 8am. The bed sheets were visibly brown. The breakfast was oily. The walls in one of the rooms was swelling and peeling. I booked tours with the hotel and it was better if I hadn't. I still had to pay for my own tickets at the sites and in one tour I was not even provided a tour guide!! I had to figure everything out myself since the taxi driver spoke limited English!! On one tour the vehicle cut out and refused to start again and the driver had no phone! If I didn't have a phone with a local sim for him to call someone we'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere, just me and him. Aside from paying for tours and still having to pay your own money, for everything a tip was asked. If you asked someone for directions to somewhere, they expected a tip. If you asked someone what time it was, they wanted a tip. I was even forced to pay a tip to the rider whose vehicle cut out! The hotel owner tried to coerce me into giving his hotel a good review by offering free gifts. One night there was a loud noise, it was police trying to apprehend someone and there was an exchange of fire! Book at your own risk guys!
Stunning views
Stinky staff always asking for tips
Great view and that is ALL ! Lady at front desk ripped me off twice. Once asking for change and the other adding my GRATUITY and miscalculated. View in my room was a concrete wall! Bartender washed my glass out with his HANDS before giving it to me. I received intestinal bug the next day. I didn't even tell them to cancel my next two days. I upgraded and went to the Kempinski Hotel downtown an absolutely gorgeous 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for! Lesson learned.
Outstanding customer service. The housekeepers were great and attentive. The roof view and food service were amazing. I’m so happy that the stuff knew how to speak in english so I had no communication problems. I stayed in a single room. At the hotel you can book all kinds of tours and they also have a taxi service. The hotel has it all and Mrs. Rania will go above and beyond to meet all your needs. I also had an opportunity to meet the owner who is very kind and knows what outstanding customer service is all about. Outstanding hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Cairo, Egypt.
Located in a slum this place should be removed from Expedia. My bed had a wet towel on it, everything was filthy and the pillow had hairs on it.
I wanted to give rating in minus but unfortunately I don’t have any option to give rating in minus. I was solo female traveler. When I booked, owner of the hotel contacted me and offered me a free ride from airport to hotel, so I accepted but when I reached to airport the driver came 2 hours late, then we reached hotel the driver asked for the Tip , so I gave him 50 Egyptian pounds. But he said it’s nothing against his service so he charged me 1000 Egyptian pounds. Then I reached hotel , without any hello or any apologies, owner of the hotel asked me to book a Cairo tour with him, when I said that I am here only for rest and I want to enjoy my holidays by myself , he said no, and started to scream on me and I wanted to cancel it but the cancellation period already finish and I didn’t have any other choice. And had to book tour with him which is charged me $60 (in Egypt every other shop charge you in USA dollars only) and also there rate are hire then others. There rate 1$ is 40 Egypt dollar but official rate was $1 = 48 Egypt dollar. Then next day I went for breakfast,, there was not much options and same options I had for next 6 days, and I am vegetarian so I couldn't eat anything. then third day I went for tour , they charged me for tour guide and lunch but they didn’t give me lunch or tour guide. And they asked for another $60. And I said no, and then I complained to owner he offered me 1 plate pasta against $60. The hotel is mess I want to share pic but no options here.
The staff and service was phenomenal, professional and polite. We booked 2 nights in the “luxury” suite with pyramids view, however the bed sheets were stained and ripped. The shower door was broke and did not close properly. Coffee and tea packs seemed to have been there for years. Jacuzzi buttons were broken. Outside furniture was not dirty, but filthy. For $200 a night, I feel the luxury suite could have been cleaner and included more amenities. However the views were breathtaking. Overall 3/5.
I left early..at additional cost..just to get out..thx but no thx you
Not a bad place in the mix of the locals and a bit of tourists, right outside of the Giza pyramids, ability to see & hear the light show every night from the rooftop, and the breakfast wasn’t bad.
Love the hotel really close to the pyramids, breakfast was good, rooftop was great, all services great, they pick us at the airport for free
Poor hotel with great views and close to pyramids
Wi-Fi is awful and for staying in the king suite i expected more, when asked about this issue they say the whole village has bad Wi-Fi but when i went to other places never had a issue. ran out of toilet paper and when asked for some the said they don’t have any. No house keeping at all
This property is a catfish, do not come here, its located in the middle of a slum
This might be the biggest catfish, I am urging anyone who sees this hotel please DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I was checked in and out within 30 minutes. I am in the process of disputing with my bank for a full refund heres why 1. Airport pickup was 90 minutes late 2. No wifi in the kings delux room, it doesnt reach 3. The workers started flirting and getting uncomfortable with my wife 4. The sheets were stained yellow with hair and flies all in the room and hallways 5.The kings delux room LOOKS NOTHING like it does in person, the kings delux room is literally inside the cafe and theres 0 privacy. People can look into your room 6. There was no hot water and i was told to deal with it cuz its hot outside 7. The hotel is located inside an Giza slum, theres no way those google reviews are accurate, a 2 star motel in the heart of the ghetto of the US is located in a better location (the rooftop does provide a good view of pyramids tho) 8. Hot tub is kings delux room is stained and dirty and paint is peeling off I asked locals why the hotel in this area was bad and they told me all the hotels in this area are bad because they were all apartment buildings are one point and converted into hotels DO NOT STAY HERE, I had to get a hotel in Cairo, I highly reccomend a hotel there and just transporting to the pyramids (20-30 min drive) much safer
Staff will ask what you do for a living to figure out how much to charge you for things. Rooms are bigger but not clean. I biked 9 night and was going to leave my things and come back. I was told to give them my room key check out and they would put my things somewhere safe til I come back just call them. I said no you’re not rent my room while I’m gone are you refunding me I was told no then an hour later yes they were only doing 100$ which wasn’t much but they charged me instead of a refund then turned the system offline to credit that back. I had to message for half my trip then threaten to call the police and go to the embassy because everyday was an excuse. If you are going to stay to go to the pyramids don’t say anything personal to employees especially to The own who will buy you dinner and tell you what to write as a review on 2 websites for his business and say not to mention him. Seems like they own many properties near the pyramid in Giza it’s about 4 men that I saw so go stay see the pyramid and leave asap if you must. Always check your currency conversion before you pay they will charge last high rate they know of and check for tours other places Expedia etc before choosing them remember Uber rides are really cheap and they’re guides are just good drivers. And the church is so close it feels like it’s in the same building 4am wake up because it’s so loud.
I would give it a zero star if I can.
The front desk staff are very nice and helpful but the owner can be overbearing. Also they charge $40 for the shuttle to the airport which should only be a $5 Uber. The location was great for visiting the pyramids and the view was really nice from the rooftop but wouldn’t recommend staying here for other activities and ease of walking around to explore. The condition of the shower wasn’t great but the bed was fine. Overall it’s okay for a night or two but wouldn’t stay longer.
Ahmed, drivers were amazing! very hospitable place to stay. staff are great! would recommend.
The area is very dirty , smells very bad because of the camels and the houses. No body cleans behind the animals. If you desided to have breakfast look behind the bar counter. It is so dirt. Stay away from the Hotel.
Excellent and safe. I’d recommend
Staffs are friendly and feel good to stay there
I came from the us in ma. The view from the hotel is amazing. They provide tours all over the country and will do their absolute best to make you feel right at home. Airport transport is provided if you stay multiple nights and they respond to all questions in a timely manner. I choose this hotel because of the great reviews and am not disappointed with the service. I booked the deluxe king suit and they provided me with a great breakfast with a beautiful view of the pyramids on the rooftop.
Good place to stay, good people, they are always available to you, a good work staff, they have transportation, and a spectacular view of the pyramids in Giza, I recommend it for your new vacation in Egypt and to experience some camel adventures are in front to hotel
Everything was terrible, I felt unsafe and I had to leave my hotel.
A wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon. Arrived late but Free transport from the airport and 24 hour reception made it hassle free. Cool to watch the light show from the rooftop, good food available for the free breakfast and all day/night. Safe and secure location, suite with jetted tub was lovely.
I like to stay in this hotel because it close to the piramids, and I recommend
Power was out most of the day. No soap or shampoo available. Sheets were dirty. We checked in and left within hours of checking in it was so bad. Your images on the web site do not represent the property in real life. I want a refund!!! We went to another hotel
Kind and accommodating
The owner and staff are kind and helpful. Very accommodating near the pyramid great place.
This Hotel is amazing: the suite, the owner, the staff, the dining, the pyramids view. I highly recommend it you will enjoy the stay and never be disappointed.
All the staff were very kind and helpful with transportation, etc. Breakfast was a bonus and the view of the pyramids from the dining area on the roof was fantastic.
USA to Giza Pyramids
We loved staying at Best View Pyramids Hotel. The last thing we wanted was a luxury resort we familiar things. We wanted to see, smell, taste, feel and hear the life of Giza. This place did not disappoint. Amazing views of pyramids out of our windows (King Deluxe room). The staff were amazing. The food at the hotel was great. We loved having a driver provided by the hotel for small fee. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and waited for us at each spot. (Do NOT rent a car.) The camels and horses are right outside the hotel gave us a wonderfully local experience. If you want a fancy same old experience you get at any resort don’t stay here. But if you want to immerse yourself in a very unique and experience… stay here! And visit the aromatherapy shop next door! Wonderful products that we brought back.
Great location. Very close to the pyramids, easily seen from the rooftop restaurant.Good choices for breakfast. Limited choice for vegetarians. Bathroom supplies not adequate. We had a very bad experience with tour bookings at the hotel. Overpromice and underdelivered.OK for heavy sleepers as there is a lot of noise throughout the night. The driver was helpful. The owner insisted on dictating the 10 out of 10 review on check out.
Highly recommend Best hotel to stay Incredible location amazing service Room very clean Breakfast very nice I recommend this hotel anyone travel to Egypt
Amazing pyramid view!
Amazing location so near the pyramids that their rooftop restaurant looks out over them and you can see and hear the sound and light show from there. Easy to walk from there to the pyramids or pick up a carriage or horse/camel instead. Spacious room with a kettle and bathroom and AC and enough plug sockets. No view form the room we had but only one floor up to get to the restaurant. WiFi there but not enough to upload or download or stream. Friendly welcoming staff with good English and easy to pay with visa. Easy check in and out process. Uber had some trouble finding it on several occasions but mostly we solved it in the end
Great location and views. Property needs a good clean and maintenance.
The hotel is terrible and staff is unfriendly and rude. We lost both water and power the one night we stayed at the hotel. We had a reservation for 5 nights, but we checked out of the hotel after 1 night and found another hotel in Cairo. Overall, for international travelers, I would not recommend staying in Giza. Stay in Cairo. It is a far better option.
This is the absolute best place to stay in Egypt. We are from Miami, we came on our dream Honeymoon trip and this was by far the best view of the pyramids in the whole area. We booked the Deluxe King Suite with Pyramids View, the view is breathtaking and you definitely have to experience the Pyramid light show at night. The best hotel staff ever, they help you with anything you need at the moment you need it. If you need any recommendations for tours, they can help you out and give you great prices as well. They even pick you up from the airport and offer an amazing breakfast. The nicest people in Egypt, wish I didn’t have to leave! But I will definitely be back! It is like a home away from home! Such an amazing hotel!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Make sure you book the Deluxe King suite with pyramids view!
Best View Pyramids Hotel actual has a great view from the top of the building bar / restaurant, which includes a free breakfast, have a very short distance between the hotel location & pyramid location, friendly helpful English speaking staff, also clean rooms with free wifi ... definitely one of the best hotels in Cairo Egypt near pyramids ...
As a Solo traveler female, This place I found very safe, great staff. I got the Suite with Piramid View, highly recommend it! Totally worth i had jaccuzzi in my room with piramid views!!!! 10/10
Awesome hospitable staff. Great breakfast included. Make sure to get the delxue suite for an awesome view
Really enjoyed our six night stay at Best View Pyramids Hotel we had a great room with a balcony overlooking all the activity on the street outside, horses and camels galore. Amazing view of the pyramids from the rooftop bar. Chef at breakfast kept bringing us food, omelette, Egyptian pizza, pancakes had to say enough, great fella. Ronch at reception was lovely organised days out and taxi’s. Hotel clean safe and great location five minute walk from Sphinx entrance to pyramids complex 10/10.
Rhena! The Front Desk Manager was very welcoming!! The hotel 🏨 have a great potential to do better, we book Pyramids View, but the room they gave us there was no such a thing, you need to go to terrace from there there is an amazing view of the Pyramids!!
The staff was very attentive. We got 5 star service even though it’s a budget hotel. We couldn’t ask for more. Sincerely Jhonny Zapata
Beware of using the hotels recommendations for shopping. The places they take you to they get a commission and they all are scam artist. DONT buy anything from the aromatherapy shop next door. I was taken to THEIR jewelers and purchased what was supposed to be 18 karat gold jewelry and was appraised in the US and it was only 12 karat gold. Do not let them recommend any places or any trips for you. They always overcharge and you can get better deals on Expedia even while you’re in the country.
The staff was very hospitable and welcoming. If you need anything, the staff and even the owner will make sure you are happy. The view from the rooftop suite which included: all 3 pyramids and the Spinhx, was absolutely breathtaking. The location is situated in the city and fully surrounded and submersed in the culture and daily Egyptian life.
This property looks better on Expedia then it actually is. Location is amazing with fantastic rooftop views of the Great Pyramids of Giza. Owner is very pushy to sell day trips that cost more than they should. The area is unsafe for walking without a guide but the guide service is good. It was good to experience “Authentic Egypt” but I would recommend getting a nice hotel in a safe neighborhood in Cairo and taking a bus tour to the pyramids.
This hotel is an absolute scam. PLEASE AVOID
The owner gave me a bottle of water and purposely uncapped it before giving it to me to pretend that the water was a new bottle and not refilled with tap water. They offered me rates that were 10x higher than market rates for tours. You can get a full day tour for 300 EGP ($10) but they will offer you a short pyramids tour for $100. They are extremely dishonest people and you should not stay at this hotel. There is only pyramid view from the rooftop. Rooms are very dirty and you will not get any soap for shower.
The view form my rooftop room is amazing: the Pyramids. What else did I want from the hotel? I booked it just for the view. The ladies on the reception are very friendly and tried to make my visit very comfortable. I enjoyed the trip to the Pyramids with Ahmad, who took amazing photos of myself: very professional. I did not stay overnight: must go to the airport this evening and the hotel helped me to be there on time. Good location, friendly staff and great view.
Do not stay here. Terrible area, room Ws dirty and they handed me a refilled water bottle when I asked for one.
I flew in from TX. The hotel arranged to have me picked up (free) outside the terminal. My flight arrived more than an hour late, but the driver (Mohammed) waited for me until almost midnight. On the drive to the hotel he gave me a tour of Cairo as we drove along the highway. Very friendly guy! It was nice to feel welcome when first arriving in a new country for the first time. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was firm and the comforter kept me at the perfect temp to let me sleep after such a long flight. After the tour of my room I was taken up to the rooftop. The view of the pyramids was breathtaking, their silhouettes dark against the night sky. Rooms are very reasonably priced, especially considering their proximity to the Pyramids. The ticket booth for the Giza plateau is literally less than 5 min away by foot. The hotel staff are all very kind and welcoming. It’s best to book your tours through the hotel to avoid dealing with outside folks, many of whom will try to overcharge you. Breakfast is served on the rooftop cafe, which has a stunning view of the pyramids and Sphinx. It’s a spectacular way to watch the sunrise. Scrambled eggs with vegetables, shishkebab, potatoes, falafel, fresh fruits, baked goods, cheese, etc. The spread of food was impressive, especially considering it was free! Someone from the staff always asked if I needed anything each time I returned to the lobby during my stay. It clearly matters to them in a genuine way that people enjoy
Our stay at Best View Pyramids Hotel was amazing! Our complimentary pickup from the airport from our driver Youssef started with him waiting for us, being so kind and stopping to get us water, show us sites and made us feel comfortable. Deluxe king suite with pyramids room was beautiful and clean with the most amazing view of pyramids and sphinx. Traveling with just my best friend and I, as females, they made us feel like we were at home with family and extremely safe. We booked all of our tours directly through the hotel staff which was cheaper than other sites. Everyone was so nice and spoke great English and made us feel like we were at home. We definitely recommend staying here and will come back in the future!
I live in saudi arabia, however i am from the USA. The hotel was amazing.
I came all the way from Texas, USA to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the city of Cairo and made the best decision in booking this hotel. Great zone, perfect view for the pyramids, awesome room, great mattress, great access, great breakfast, fast elevators, great staff, incredible staff as a matter of fact. Bartender gave me an awesome service, the owner is a great man who doesn’t care about nothing but his guest having a great time and enjoying the moment to the fullest. He even offered me breakfast one hour after the closing time. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
The
This hotel have a great rooftop view, that was really nice but as other reviews mentioned before it is not the cleanest , rooms are not updated I didn’t have even soap in the bathroom and you can tell they didn’t clean it. Also for future bookings they have to honest and mention that their facilities are right in front of the stables and it’s very noisy, and very busy everything is walking distance but full of animal excrement on streets around the hotel, we were aware of giza streets not being the best and definitely not the best place to stay with little kids.
Upon arriving, you will encounter horses right in front of the property; the smell it’s strong. We lost power three times during our stay for at least an hour which they do not take responsibility for; not a pleasant situation due to the extreme heat. Overpriced tour services and transportation on site. Confirm what’s included with the tour before booking it. I had to purchase my passes for the museum separately when it was sold as included and declined, misleading the tour. Despite the disappointment, the views of the Pyramids from the terrace are amazing.
The staff was really nice. The room of hotel was nice but idk not worth the price tho. The breakfast was disgusting (rewrapped old cold food) and the utensils were dirty.
The hotel here is simply amazing, and the value is unmatched. They have free airport service upon arrival which was very helpful, and the driver was waiting for me when I arrived. When I arrived the team was very friendly, and the hospitality was a 10/10, and a very safe place to be. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, the AC was very strong even during the heat wave! They also had really great tours available, and the food at the restaurant was amazing. The breakfast buffet was also free and delicious. The one thing though that was my favorite part of this hotel, is that you have a PERFECT view of the Pyramid of Giza light show, which was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, all while enjoying the comfort of a full bar and restaurant on a beautiful rooftop. If you’re looking to stay in the Cairo or Giza area, Best View Pyramids Hotel the place for you, and if I come back I’ll coming back for sure.
Very disappointed with this property. Outside of the property felt very unsafe, every time we went out we kept getting accosted and followed by locals to buy stuff. The room itself was dirty, towels and bedsheets had stains. A local tour guide who picked us up for pyramid tour told us that this hotel is run by “gangs” and to be mindful which isn’t great to hear. The included “breakfast” was disgusting restaurant leftovers which were probably a few days old and repackaged, we dare not eat the breakfast. At least the view was nice but that’s it
Room with a View
Excellent for its views of pyramids. Enjoyed watching sunrise from our fourth floor balcony. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Breakfast more on the traditional side. Provided transportation to wherever you want to go for reasonable fee. We got the hot tub room but the water was not hot even though the shower water was. So may wish to skip that feature. Overall a good one night experience.
The property had a broken balcony door which would not close. Furniture was dirty and stained. Cockroaches in the room. Staff would none stop harrass you trying to get a tip. Breakfast was covered in flys and bugs. Smelled like a stable due to all the horses and camels right outside the hotel.
Very bad location no service .I paid extra for pyramids view room found the room without window they told me go on roof if you want see the pyramids . Ending up canceled the reservation and check in . But they didn’t refund me
Smelly out front, otherwise amazing stay!
Rooftop, restaurant with good food. The view thou, amazing. If you get the suite, is not a big room but the view. You can enjoy good shisha and good customer service. Restaurant just right there. Definitely is worth it
This is the best hotel to stay at if visiting Cairo for the Pyramids. The staff people are kind and respectful. Hands down 😊❤️.
We came from the USA Dallas, Texas. Adam, the owner of our hotel: The Best View Pyramids , in Giza greeted us and spoke perfect an English and was extremely kind. He helped myself and my daughter set up our entire trip with cars, guides, and private driver and made sure our every need was met. The Hotel Is in the best location with the most stunning views of the pyramids right from our room and balcony. All the staff were very accommodating and friendly with attention to details in our Likes and wants for food and seating preferences. The room was clean. The AC works amazing and cools the room quickly (this is a must in the Egyptian heat) . Adam , the owner sat and talked to us about Egypt the night before we left and gifted us 2 Papyrus pieces at art which we love so much. If you want an authentic Egyptian stay with spectacular views of the pyramids from the room and you can watch the nightly light show from the balcony free of charge, then book this hotel!! It made our trip perfect and memories for a lifetime!
I came from USA, i stayed at Best View Pyramid very incredible location, we felt so at easy here, we had the Best Time Ever, the hotel is so nice. It's walking a distance from the pyramids, the owner Adam, was the best host, when you come to Egypt, and want a really good experience, from good, the breakfast a and coffee was very nice, amazing service, and if you want to book a tour book it through the hotel, great price and great time, highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐service Best View Pyramids Hotel in Gize.
I came with my family I stayed at Beat view pyramids hotel..I had a great time, fantastic location, fantastic breakfast..I booked the deluxe king suite with pyramid views. JacUI tub. AmaIng service. Highly recommend. We had a great time. Owner was very welcoming and was very helpful.
Friendly saff great location for value
The Pyramid Best View Hotel is a nice place to stay. It is near the pyramid. The host/owner is very professional, seeing to it that everything is alright. The staff are very kind and pleasant.
I came from USA with my family , great room , I will highly recommend it , incredible view , excelent service , staff speak great English and transportation from airport to hotel is Great .
Most wonderful views
For the price it has one of the best views of the Pyramids of any hotel in the area
I’m from the US and my stay was amazing! The staff is friendly and welcoming and made me feel safe the entire time. Their hospitality is unmatched. They offer excursions and tours and free airport pick up. The best part was the view! I stayed in the deluxe king jacuzzi suite and the view was breathtaking! There is even a light show you can see from the rooftop. There’s a rooftop restaurant and bar and breakfast too. Everything was amazing! I highly recommend. I’m glad this was recommended through Orbitz I had a great time!
View.. Just the view.. Nothing else
I gave this hotel 1 star, and that’s for the view. The view is indeed great. You can see all 3 Giza pyramids and the light show from the rooftop and the rooftop rooms (where we stayed). The rest is absolutely garbage. The maintenance is below par. The food is inconsistent. The drivers are incompetent. The staffs are liars (with one exception). The toiletries are cheap local products in sachets. Save your hard earned money and stay in other places that have self respect.
The hotel has a fantastic view of the pyramids from the rooftop. We booked a deluxe triple room with a pyramid view, but the room was facing the street opposite the pyramids. Only the rooftop suites have a direct pyramid view. Our beds had no flat sheets under the blankets. The bathroom had a really nice shower but only one towel (3 guests in our room). There was no housekeeping service during our 3-night stay. We were OK making our own beds, but it would have been helpful to have at least the bathroom trash can emptied and the towels replenished. When we checked out, we were asked to tip the housekeeping staff. The street facing out is noisy, with camels, horses and constant activity. Breakfast was OK but the tables were not clean and the food did not look fresh. The staff was very nice and helpful. We booked tours and car rides with a guide through the hotel. We enjoyed the excursions but instead of stopping at the papyrus shop and cotton shop (where the guides get commissions) we would have preferred spending more time on the real sights. We paid top dollar for the excursions and rides and did not try to bargain anything on our end, but we were constantly asked for tips by the organizer, the guides and the drivers. They would count the tip amount each time and state it was not enough. We were also charged by the organizer for an extra camel picture in front of the hotel. It was disheartening to constantly feel the pressure of being treated like walking wallets.
If you book the upstairs rooms that have the view of the pyramid, you can’t go wrong! Be prepared that it will feel different if you’re used to western world manicured neighborhoods. When we pulled in at 2:30 AM, it was a little shocking to see the condition of the surrounding neighborhood, and there were more camels asleep in the parking lot than cars — and about 100 horses sleeping across the street. But the staff is so friendly and warm and the view of the pyramid was so fantastic and the food was good so really, we were grateful for such a good place to stay.
Most amazing view
You can’t beat this view of the pyramids. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again
Staff appeared friendly and helpful at first. Then the their true colors come out. Where they're only trying to get into your pockets. They want to be the only ones to take you anywhere (stores that they partner with, in order to get a commission from whatever you buy). They didn't keep their end of the deal for your guides (this after being paid). The room had dust on shelves. Bath towels were hard crusty. There was a roach next to the toilet the first morning when i waken (after killing it i didn't see any more). The view of the pyramids from the roof was spectacular. That was the greatest thing. I'll go back to Cairo. However I'll never stay at the hotel again.
The Best View Pyramids Hotel is a great choice for those seeking comfortable accommodation with stunning views of the pyramids. The hotel's owner, Raul is very hospitable and the hotel's driver, Sap provided great service and recommendations. The restaurant serves delicious dishes with fresh ingredients. The highlight of the hotel is the breathtaking view of the pyramids, especially during sunrise and sunset. Overall, if you're looking for a cozy hotel with great service, food, and views, the Best View Pyramids Hotel is a fantastic option.
Only thing unique about this property was good pyramid View other then that the area is located in the slums and some staff members would request tips or ask will you look out for me which I thought was very unprofessional
The view of the pyramids at the roof of this hotel is incredible!!! The staff was also amazing, including the owner of the hotel. The staff ensured we had a driver whenever we needed one, and our driver was an advocate for us during our travels. We felt safe during this time and really grew to trust the driver the hotel had assigned to us. The owner of the hotel seemed to be there every night and ensured we were being well taken care of by the staff. He made sure we were able to set up whatever excursions we wanted, and we did so with the hotel and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Can see the pyramids from hotel. 3 day stay and booked sightseeing at hotel. Good restaurant and clean. I am traveling from Canada and would return again. Hotel supplied driver from airport to hotel. Highly recommended place to stay.
If your on a budget, this would be a perfect spot for you. WFamily oriented doing business not kindness.Unfortunately, They didn’t pick me up from the airport, allowed me to stay over night inside of a suit. Promised me a ride at the end of my trip…however, not one person questioned me about my flight information…. absolutely didn’t show the same courtesy leaving. Owner gave me a few souvenirs but stood over me and told me “word for word” to put in a review. My respect can’t be bought. Workers iron my clothes for me! That was sweet.I extended my stay in Eygpt & booked somewhere else. Don’t be afraid to say NO…Don’t let anybody pressure you. If you came to shop, cool otherwise you DON’T have to buy everything people offer you.Booking your tours with this hotel is a waste, pay for a taxi and visit places by yourself. I was extremely disappointed by the tour guy/driver he refused to take me to the Museum of my choice; try to convince me not to go inside Cairo Tower… people spend a lot of money and travel very far. Family was sweet, but royalty doesn’t beg. New booking pick me up, gave me a room without stretching their hands out from money every minute, and drop me to the airport no hidden fees. Ps. I finally made my way to the Egyptian Museum (old one) absolutely beautiful I can’t believe I almost went all the way home with out visiting.
The hotel and staff are simply amazing. The owner is truly helpful and works to ensure amazing experience and visit. View of pyramids from roof top and great light show.Highly recommend. The hotel is within walking distance of shops and major attractions. Many tours and options to choose. Great restaurant with daily breakfast included. Friendly English speaking staff, customer service 100/100, hospitality 100/100 and above and beyond expectations.
Amazing views of the ancient pyramids.
We loved our stay at Best View Pyramids. For us, staying in Giza with a view of the pyramids during our 3-days in Cairo was the only way to go. Best View Pyramids was walking distance to pyramids entrance, staff were friendly, breakfast was included, and there was an outdoor bar where my husband and I could get drinks and relax while enjoying the light show at night. The owner went out of his way to greet us and enjoy we had a wonderful experience. I would stay here again if visiting Cairo.
This lovely property was truly an Egyptian experience. It is owned and operated by a family and this is what makes the experience exceptional. The attention to detail: from delicious fresh meals, tour guides that cater to your every wish and need (thank you Sad and George). I loved sitting on my balcony and watching the hustle and bustle of the people of Giza. My morning walks were refreshing and exciting! Please stay at this hotel I’d you want a true Egyptian experience. I love Egypt because the people at this hotel were warm and friendly and made my stay in an exotic country wonderful!
Don't stay here
Run down, unclean , lack of basic bedroom facilities, overpriced, no internet
Great staff! Not a great part of town.
Not a right place to stay
Very nice staff and close to the pyramids!
Avoid at all costs. They refused to accommodate us. I do not know how it has good reviews tbh. This is an honest review.
Really disappointed with the hotel, and Egypt... 1) I booked "Deluxe Triple Room - pyramid view", but they brought us to "their branch" small dirty hotel without any windows in darker street. No bath like the photo. 2) They offered a free car from the airport and I booked. But, the driver didn't come. I called the hotel, and the clerk said the driver was at the other terminal and would come to us in 5min. But no one came and the hotel clerk ignored my call after that. After I waited for 2 hours in total at the airport, I needed to take a taxi by myself. 3) I joined a rooftop party of New Year Eve. The staffs showed a dance at dinner, and they asked the visitors to join the dance. After dance, we found that they put away all meals and drinks we were still enjoining.
Earned its name easily!
The location was amazing. The the view for breakfast and dinner can’t be beat. Premium service. Keep in mind this is rural not downtown Cairo. Note camels, and horses. This area serves the pyramids.
Awful place, dirty rooms, old furnitures, internet doesn’t work, staff was very rude. They were harassing to sell tours, breakfast food was not edible.the around hotel is waiting spot for the horses and camels so smell bad.. We asked the change the linens and clean the rooms 3 times. The pics in the Expedia are not related to hotel. We wanted to change hotel but unfortunately, no room available around the area. The only positive thing was pyramids view. You can ask or offer money to go roof and take pic if you want as they were greedy to make money out of the people anyway In nutshell, stay away from this hotel

Good Location, Good Staff, Good view
The staff were nice, always accommodating any requests and offer assistance. The view of the pyramids from the hotel is excellent. While the exterior area may not be as impressive—given the presence of various animals like camels, horses, and donkeys—this is beyond the hotel's control. However, the hotel's unbeatable proximity to the pyramids makes it an ideal location.
