We enjoyed exploring Catania and this property is in the heart of the city. The host was great. The only thing I would say would be the external property is in the middle of a building site. As soon as you enter the building you are met with this before you get upstairs. The bed and breakfast itself is very nice but we opened the window and all you could see is the building site in the middle of the property which we didn’t know about before booking. Overall the host and the b&b were excellent though.

Nice rooms but complicated set up & zero service

This stay would have been so much better if we had been informed ahead of time that there would be a construction site (we almost just left), then 3 flights of stairs and zero help or service. It’s a completely do it yourself B&B which is difficult to get into and almost impossible if you have any luggage. There is a tiny lift but instructions were complicated and my bag didn’t fit in it anyway so I had to leave most of my things in the car as it was too heavy for so many stairs. I was travelling with two older people and a young child and it was very difficult for us and no one to help you check in or assist with bags or help in general. Staff at breakfast were very nice each day with zero English. Rooms very very comfortable but very hot. I think if management would have just prepared us better what to expect in terms we would have had a much better experience. I spent a lot of time answering questions from other guests who had also had a difficult time getting and managing self check in and the stairs etc.

the staff was very welcoming, and helpful with our questions about getting around the city. we had a few minor problems with the air conditioner and toilet and they were fixed promptly and we had no further issues. The owner was able to get us transportation to the airport at half the cost of our ride in. The driver they arranged was prompt and took good care of us. Again the staff was excellent

Accommodation was excellent and staff worked to help Access through 4 locked and/or coded doors was a nightmare until siesta time had passed and another visitor helped us

Loredana was a lovely host and made us feel welcome on a short stay to Catania. The area immediately around is generally okay, and has some dirty streets nearby, but don’t let it put you off because Catania has some excellent places to discover.

It’s ok place to stay for young students and all . for mature middle age couple this will not be my recommendation

Did not have anyone to check us in despite arriving before 7. The locked gates and elevator required some explanation so we were left to our own devices to figure all that out.

Brilliant stay. Easy instructions to check in after hours. Nice and clean upon arrival. Very peaceful and quiet building, great for a good nights sleep. short walk to city center and duomo. Would stay here again!

The hotel floor was lovely. The city of Catania has seen much better days, with the graffiti so prevalent and the homeless people sleeping amidst the trash on the streets. There was some noise from the traffic but we were able to sleep. Anything possible that we needed within the hotel, however, was provided. A lovely breakfast was prepared for us each day. This was amazing. A very unique hotel!

Fantastic staff

Bellini B&B is walking distance to hub of eateries and close to center. Staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful which make our short visit effective.

the hotel was fine. Two issues: 1. B & B is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so older less fit people will have trouble climbing stairs. 2. Check in time is after 4pm so may be inconvenient for some travellers.

Great Experience

Staff was amazing, room was very clean and breakfast was great. Stairs up to the room may be an issue for some and the place is not easy to find, due to poor signage. If we were to return to Catania I would definitely stay again.

The receptionist was rude and charged my girlfriend an extra person fee when I paid for a king room for the both of us! They were rude about the whole thing and treated my girlfriend like she was scum.

Very nice people and nice breakfast

Stairs should have been clearly stated. Lots of them. Owner lovely . However the young lady that was there at other time was irritable and short.

Walking distance to many tourist attractions

Easy to arrive by bus ( Alibus) from the airport, drop off stop 9 (via Etnea) and than around 5 min walk. Situated cross the Bellini Gardens, in an old building. The place inside has a very pleasant contemporary design. Breakfast was very nice, with large choice. What I particularly liked was the big shower towel and a beautiful terrace where you can seat for breakfast and look to the steamy Etna volcano.

Die Unterkunft war ok. Das Frühstück für 8€ mehr als gut! Die Inhaberin und Ihre Mitarbeiter sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Allerdings wird im Angebot verschwiegen, dass das Haus sehr heruntergekommen ist und aufgrund von behördlichen Vorgaben seit 8 Javren nichts passiert. Es ist ein Baustelle. Ein sehr schönes Haus, dass allmählich zerfällt. Im B&B ist es sauber. Die kleine Terrasse könnte liebevoller gestaltet werden. Es war ok, ich würde mir allerdings fürs nächste Mal was anderes suchen. Das Bild der Aussenfront entspricht nicht der Realität. Wenn man sich dessen bewusst ist, kann man den Kurztrip dort buchen.

Am Vorabend unserer Anreise wurde uns per Mail mitgeteilt, dass im Eingangsbereich ein hässliches Gerüst steht und der gesamte Bereich sehr schmutzig ist. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war eine Stornierung nicht mehr möglich. Ich hätte diese Unterkunft niemals gebucht, wenn ich das im Vorfeld gewusst hätte. Die Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sehr klein. Geschickt aufgenommen sahen diese auf den Fotos wesentlich größer aus. Checkout war um 10.30 Uhr und es war nicht möglich zumindest das Gepäck in der Unterkunft zu deponieren bis zur Abholung zum Flughafen. Die Inkeeperin war freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück gut.

Valeria and Loredana were really super sweet and had great ideas/recommendations. The room and the whole apartment was clean and quiet. I really had a good time! Only thing I would have liked to know about beforehand was the large construction site in the courtyard. Small idea: I would offer free coffee/tea in the room.

Bella Bellini Home

Et utrolig koselig sted fint plassert i Catania. Få minutters rolig gange fra Via Etea, marked, restauranter, butikker og kafeer. Vertinnen er smilende og hyggelig, og gjør alt hun kan for å gjøre oppholdet så bra som mulig. Vi besøkte Bellini Home under hetebølgen 2023, men med aircondition på rommet, og ekstra vifte var det ikke noe problem å holde en behagelig temperatur. Frokosten er akkurat passe stor. Typisk Italiensk med både søtt og salt. Nybakte kaker hver dag, sandwicher, croissanter og mye godt. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Accueil chaleureux de Loredana et son equipe . Emplacement parfait pour visiter le centre de catane . Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée . Wifi parfait .

Accoglienza puntuale, premurosa e cordiale. Ottima posizione, con facilità di parcheggio nei dintorni. Il centro si visita comodamente a piedi. Ambienti puliti, ordinati e rinnovati. Colazione di alto livello, sia per qualità che per quantità, indimenticabile! Il rapporto qualità/prezzo é decisamente favorevole. Per rendere realistica la recensione é giusto anche indicare qualcosa che é migliorabile. Se dormite con le finestre aperte, potreste essere disturbati dal passaggio del lavaggio strade. Analogamente, potreste trovare qualche zanzara (nel cassetto comunque c'era l'emanatore con le piastrine). Inezie, tutto sommato. Ci torneremmo. Anzi, speriamo di tornarci.

Wir haben uns im Bellini Home B&B sehr wohl gefühlt. Gute Lage nahe dem Zentrum und dennoch wenig Verkehrslärm infolge neuer Fenster. Das alte barocke Haus hat charm und wurde passend renoviert. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und die Betten sehr gut. Besonders gefallen hat uns die kleine Frühstücksterrasse mit Blick auf den Ätna. Das B&B befindet sich im 2. Stock ohne Lift.

Supercosy bed and breakfast!

I really enjoyed this cute Bed and breakfast. The service was excellent and the breakfast was really tasty, I loved all the pastries and the cakes (especially the one with chocolate in the middle it was sooo good). The view from the terrace was cute, overlooking an exotic inner garden.

Il b&b è in una posizione perfetta per andare a visitare Catania, in 5 min si arriva ovunque. La palazzina è antica infatti è sprovvista di ascensore ma per fortuna c'è il montacarichi per salire le valige. La camera molto bella dal soffitto alto, è molto ben curata e confortevole lo stesso del bagno. La colazione molto gustosa sia dolce, tra cui le buonissime torte della padrona di casa, che salata, tra cui le omelette della signorina della colazione. Grazie a tutto il personale del b&b per aver reso questo soggiorno bellissimo.

Personal muy amable

La mujer que nos recibió fue muy amable. Estuvo esperando bastante rato ya que nuestro vuelo se retrasó y no la avisamos. Nos explicó muy bien como movernos por la ciudad y nos aconsejó sitios para la cena. El desayuno es muy completo, y además te ofrece tortillas y el cafe espresso (cafe muy bueno, por cierto), tiene una terraza muy bonita y agradable, llena de plantas muy bien cuidadas. La habitación limpia y con comodidades básicas. Esta muy cerca del centro.

Bella Struttura

Ottima struttura in posizione strategica a pochi passi dal Centro. Il personale è gentile e disponibile buona la struttura e la pulizia. Molto bello il terrazzo per una colazione in pieno relax. Nel palazzo storico dove è situato il B&B non c’è l’ascensore per cui dovrete fare due piani di scale con le valigie. Il soggiorno presso la struttura è stato piacevole sicuramente se torno a Catania sarà il mio punto di riferimento Grazie dell’ospitalità

Bella location in pieno centro

Un B&B ben organizzato in un palazzo signorile con vista sul parco Bellini. Ottimo servizio, torneremo sicuramente.

Um dia em Catania

O B&B fica em um prédio sem elevador no segundo andar. Existe um recurso que eles levam a mala ao quarto, assim vc não precisa subir as escadas com as malas.O quarto é amplo, silencioso, com wifi e cama confortável. Tem um bom café da manhã e uma boa localização.

Amabilidad bien servicio y mucha escalera y ruido

Mucha escalera son dos plantas pero por lo antiguo son como 4. El edificio está en reparación total los martillazos son a diario. Le falta un elevador y prevenir el estado de reparación del edificio

Situé dans un bel immeuble , à faible distance à pied de tout ce qu’il y a à voir à Catania. Bon Petit déjeuner pris sur agréable terrasse. Avons habité là 5 jours. Les 2 premières nuits avions une chambre plus petite, mais avec moustiquaire. Pour une raison quelconque on nous a déménagé dans une chambre plus belle, mais sans moustiquaire. Climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Avons été piqués. Personnel sympathique. Seul inconvénient, c’est qu’il y a 60 marches à monter. Pas d’ascenseur. Tolles B&B in super Lage

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft direkt am Park Bellini. Die auch deutsch sprechende Besitzerin und ihre Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr hilfsbereit und sorgen für eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück mit super leckeren selbst gebackenen Kuchen schafft eine gute Grundlage für den Tag.

Sehr saubere und zentrale Unterkunft

Das Bed&Breakfast ist eine sehr saubere Unterkunft. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein. Drei Gehminuten zum Via Etna, der Hauptstraße mit vielen Geschäften. Die Inhaberin Loredana spricht deutsch und hat uns bestens umsorgt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, das Bad ist eher klein, jedoch top sauber. Das Bett war sehr groß, wir konnten sehr gut darauf schlafen. Die Zimmer haben Balkone. Das Frühstück ist für süße Schleckermäuler genau richtig Gleich nebenan gibt es zwei Supermärkte. Catania ist eine tolle Erfahrung, das Essen war sehr lecker und das Hotel klasse.

B&b all'interno di un palazzo antico accanto a villa Bellini. Gentilissime le proprietarie e bellissima struttura. Unico neo la mancanza di ascensore.

B & B in beautif&ul building in the center of the town near via Etnea, a main street, near Villa Bellini Park. In walking distance to sightseeing places and near to airport bus. Big and nice rooms with high ceilings. Very clean. Had a quiet room. Loredana, the proprietor, was extremely nice and helpful. She would organize many things – free of charge – and gave me also a lot of information. She serves a rich breakfast, most of it, made by herself. Unlike other B & B in Italy Loredana was present all the time and always friendly and enthustiastic. I enjoyed the familiar environment during my stay of one whole week. could be a problem for certain persons : 2nd floor without elevator
