Large room, that was nice. Centrally located. Lots of stairs to get to bb and elevator didnt work. Door handle broken to room. Door to bathroom hard to work. Batgroom had no shower. Just tub. Place for breakfast was 3 blocks away and quite skimpy.

Homely, well located spot

A very homely B n B, with excellent staffing provided by the delightful family. Very comfortable with a quirky decor and, in my case, a beautiful high ceilinged room.

Bad Experience

This hotel had an issue with water and we were moved to another hotel with similar amenities, close but into a different neiborgh. I really didn't like this change however owner of the new hotel was very friendly and we spent a very comfortable night.

Good option for a budget stay in Catania.

Pros: Very central location, friendly and helpful owner, large room with living area and mezzanine bedroom. Cons: above a kebab shop/bar which was noisy until the early hours, no sign on door so struggled to find the b&b. Overall good option for a budget stay in Catania.

Hotel Bellini - like a Sicilian home!

This is a little gem that is in great location, close to all of the usual attractions and feels like a 'home from home'. Lorenza is a fantastic host, always friendly and helpful with lots of money-saving hints and tips. I followed her recommendations and had an amazing time in Sicily. It is one of those places that when you return after a long day of sightseeing it feels like you are coming home. Lorenza also provides a traditional Italian breakfast which when enjoyed with other Italian guests seems like your are in someones home and not a hotel. I would recommend staying here and will certainly go back when I'm next in Catania.

Great location and wonderful host

We arrived late at night after a day of multiple plane reschedules and ultimately lost luggage. We had planed to go straight to a hotel we'b booked in the hills (we were supposed to arrive in the afternoon) but had to book at the last minute in Catania. Luckily B&B Bellini was available. We had a simple but lovely room with a beautiful window overlooking the street. Bed was comfortable, room basic but fine, great value for the price. Breakfast was abundant. But what really stood out was the host, Lorenza. She went put of her way, offering to drive us to a mall in the morning to buy underwear and basics, and driving us to our new accommodation. She is incredibly lovely and generous. We would heartily recommend!

Homely hospitality in a superb location

This place is a gem! I stayed with my husband and 12yo son. Lorenza and her family (including Misha the beautiful cat) were very welcoming and helpful, and made a great continental breakfast each morning. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need, including wifi. The location is ideal - walking distance to restaurants, shops, the cathedral and the castle and the street is well-lit and busy, and we felt safe walking nearby at night in any direction.

Charming B&b in the centre of Catania

I stayed for one night and Lorenza was super lovely very charming old style building in centre with market across the street and close to the duomo,room was tastefully decorated and comfy with great breakfast and good coffee

Expedia need to review unregistered B & B

Filthy disgusting property. No signage at garage door but entered and found a dirty untidy B&B Teenage boy wondering around the filthy kitchen with only underpants on. Totally unorganised A property that Expedia should not have displayed on their website. I will be very cautious about booking on properties with Expedia . Sorry I just don't understand how you can promote such a property.

A scam

B&B bellini is a dirty private apartment. It is in a dirty dangerous part of Catania. It has no sign indicating it is a registered business. It is someone's private apartment. They rent rooms which are of poor quality.

Comfortable beds, friendly service and friendly breakfast. Certainly good value and located close to catania centre and markets.

This is not a traditional B&B, but 2 rooms for rent in an apartment. Located very centrally in Catania near the Doumo.

B&B Bellini

Lorenza is a kind host. We were pleasantly surprised with our room; it was a bi-level lofted space, with floor to ceiling windows. The bed was on the floor but it was comfortable. The heating system was adequate for sleeping in the loft, but the bottom floor stayed very cold at night and was unusable. A long walk from the train station, but very central to town center.

Catania diferente

Cuando llegue no había nadie ,llame incansables veces al número que sale en la página y nada ,finalmente llegaron unas amigas de la dueña y por casualidad le pregunté y ellas me ayudaron a ubicarla ,me dieron las llaves y la verdad este establecimiento está más enfocado a lolos ,el baño quedaba lejos de la pieza ,era una casa con más personas que vivían ahí ,Lorenza la dueña es un amor ,atenta y trataba de que estuviéramos a gusto ,pero yo por lo menos no me sentía así ,sentía que no tenía privacidad ..de todas maneras la cama era muy cómoda ,toda la casa estaba decorada con cosas antiguas ,pero definitivamente le faltaba un orden total ,es como quedarse en una casa de una persona que no conoces ..le doy gracias por sus detalles ,pero como comenté antes más bien es un lugar para mochileros ..queda en un tercer piso y no hay ascensor para subir las maletas ..

Posticino molto carino, la padrona e la sua famiglia sono gentilissimi. In zona centrale non troppo isolata, vicino al mercato diurno di Via del Pardo e Piazza di Benedetto con annessi ristorantini con i tavolini sulla strada. Nello stesso stabile c'è anche un ristorante ottimo e una panineria kebab, giusto per provare due cose differenti, mentre all'altro angolo della strada c'è un pub e un altro locale notturno e poco in là più altri bar e ristoranti. La stanza è silenziosa, il letto è confortevole con lenzuola cambiate ogni giorno, la camera è arredata con mobili d'antiquariato è abbellita con locandine di film. Ogni stanza ha un tema diverso. Di notte la padrona consiglia di chiudere la stanza con la chiave, poiché la sua gatta è molto curiosa e sa aprire le porte per curiosare.

In pieno centro storico...che meraviglia! Mi sono sentita come a casa, ma in vacanza. Sapevate che nell'800 le seterie Auteri di Catania, con sede nel Palazzo Auteri dove soggiornavo io, era fra le più importanti al mondo, insieme a quelle di Cina e Giappone? Fra una tazza di tè e tante chiacchiere, ho appreso tutta la storia da Lorenza, la magnifica padrona di casa. Anche la camera che occupavo, restaurata da poco, mi raccontava graficamente la storia. Il soggiorno presso il B&B Bellini è stato veramente confortevole e piacevole. Molto bella la città. Solo il quartiere, a prima vista, è un po' decadente, ma mi sono sentita comunque molto sicura. Un'ottima esperienza! Grazie.

Cordialità, simpatia e cultura...che non guasta mai. Pulito, accogliente e spazioso; vicinissimo a tutto ciò che di più bello offre la città, non ultimo il mercato del pesce che è molto caratteristico. I proprietari sono davvero simpatici e gentili. Ce ne siamo andati con una gran voglia di tornare. Grazie di tutto.

Indimenticabile. Oltre alla struttura, che è molto bella, spaziosa, luminosa e pulita, gode di una posizione assolutamente straordinaria: praticamente a due passi da tutto. Lorenza è simpaticissima e molto disponibile. Siamo stati benissimo. Grazie. Torneremo sicuramente.

Soggiorno incantevole. Palazzo bellissimo. la ciu storia, narratami dalla proprietaria della struttura, con dovizia di particolari, sarebbe troppo lunga da riferire qui.L'atmosfera è familiare e gioiosa. Camera pulita e confortevole. La colazione, che ho spesso consumato in compagnia della padrona e del suo adorabile figlio, è il miglior modo di iniziare la giornata. Più che soddisfatta...ci tornerò.

Nettes Zimmer zentral gelegen

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Palazzo direkt in der Nähe des Domplatzes. Man kommt in Catania überall gut zu Fuß hin. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und gemütlich. Die Vermieterin Lorenza ist sehr hilfsbereit, man kann sie alles fragen und sie erklärt einem sehr ausführlich alles und gibt Tipps.

Siamo stati tre giorni a Catania l'esperienza è sicuramente da ripetere. Il b&b gradevole e immerso in pieno centro; nonostante il tempo sia stato poco clemente ci siamo divertiti moltissimo. Abbiamo fatto in tour enogastronomico di alto livello. A presto

部屋はきれいでよかったです！空港はバスから近く、ほぼ最初のアーキというところでおりて１５分くらい。 私の部屋はWi-Fiがあまりよくなかった、けど部屋が広いし、自炊もできるし最高でした。 ホテルからウルシーノ城はホテル裏道３分くらい。 中心部からも徒歩１５分だけど、中心部に泊まるのも悪くないかも でもファミリーなら部屋が広いのでオススメです！

Cucina e luogo della colazione sporchi e vecchi, lavabo pieno di stoviglie da pulire, nella stanza della colazione c'erano le ciotole per i gatti o cani, cose vecchie, e il cibo non era in porzioni monouso... Uno schifo...

Eine Nacht im B&B Bellini

Das B&B Bellini mit dem eigenen Auto zu finden, war ein Abenteuer. Wir hatten aufgrund der Internet Beschreibung eine Pension oder Hotel erwartet. Es handelt sich aber um eine private Zimmervermietung in einem Mietshaus in der Innenstadt von Catania. Dieses kann nur über ein Gewirr von engen Einbahnstrassen erreicht werden. Ohne Navigationssystem oder guten Karten wird man es vermutlich nicht finden. Bei unserer Anreise am späten Nachmittag haben wir einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus gefunden. Das B&B Bellini ist nicht von außen erkennbar. Man muß direkt bei der Vermieterin klingeln. Dies wurde uns aber vorab per Email mitgeteilt. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück findet mit Familienanschluß in der Küche der Altbauwohnung statt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal für die Erkundung der Innenstadt von Catania zu Fuß. Der Fischmarkt ist nur ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem Mietwagen ist das B&B Bellini aufgrund der Lage und der begrenzten Parkmöglichkeiten nur bedingt zu empfehlen. Die Vermieterin spricht kein Deutsch und mittelmäßig Englisch. Sie ist aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt empfanden wir das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis als gut. Allerdings sollte das B&B Bellini als private Unterkunft eindeutig gekennzeichnet sein, damit es nicht zu Erwartungsabweichungen kommt.

Chambre spacieuse MAIS pas de salle de bain attenante, dommage ... obligé de traverser le séjour/cuisine pour aller se laver ou aller aux toilettes. Petit déjeuner très copieux, grande variété de choix. Pas de parking, difficulté pour se garer.

Nel cuore del centro storico di Catania

Stanza comoda e accogliente con la zona giorno in basso e la zona notte soppalcata. Sono stati giorni di grande caldo e l'aria condizionata ci ha salvato la vita. Ottima accoglienza e grande disponibilita'.

Chambre a choisir pour l'acceuil et le lieu

Arrivee a 4h du matin . Recue avec beaucoup de gentillesse malgre l heure tardive . Chambre tres confortable , situee en plein quartier a visiter.

Die Pension ist für alle, die das autentische sizilianische Leben kennen lernen wollen. Die Besitzerin Lorenza geht sehr individuell auf die Wünsche ein,hat mich sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt und am Abend bin ich mit ihr auf ein Bier gegangen. Dabei habe ich ca. 10 Freunde von ihr kennen gelernt. Palare italano - inklusive. Für alle, die außer einem Bett auch noch kostenlos ein italienische Konversation üben wollen. Für mich perfekte Unterkunft, direkt im Zentrum. Gerne wieder!

Unpleasant surprise

One of our worst surprise in entire two weeks trip in Italy. B&B is located in a big palazzo, but there was no answer to the ring. We have lingered 20 min. trying to contact with the owner by international call, still no answer. Some other guests of the B&B finally found us and kindly called to the owner to her cell phone number, which was not in hotels.com. When we entered the property, it was filled with malicious odor of food leftover,from two frying pans put on the way to go to the bath - and that was supposed to be our 'private' bath. So we have to go through this kitchen place to go to our bath. The whole house (it is not a hotel, not a standard b&b either) stink except for our room itself. The room was big and nice, the old furniture quaint, but that, and the very central location is the only thing we liked in this hotel. No wifi whatever (the owner explained that it was out of order just that day), and of course the credit card machine does not work (the owner explained that it did not work in the morning), and at night we had to hear the sound of snoring of the owners, too.

Arrivato all'hotel dall'aereoporto ho trovato subito tutto pronto per il mio soggiorno: l'hotel è veramente in posizione centralissima, la responsabile estremamente cortese, il servizio inappuntabile. E' un b.b. familiare ottimo per un breve week-end alla scoperta di Catania: dall'hotel ( simile ad una location tipo camera ammobiliata con angolo cottura ) si possono prenotare gite ed escursioni ad esempio sull'Etna o alle spiagge. Tutto bene

Lorena est une femme charmante et très serviable. Le logement est à 2 pas du Duomo et du marché.

Matelas à même le sol. Douche non étanche avec porte qui ne se ferme pas = salle de bains presque inondée ! Les serviettes ont été changées à notre demande car elles ne l'étaient pas systématiquement ! Petit déjeuner très médiocre (pain pas frais, pots de confiture et de miel pas très présentables sans doute ouverts depuis longtemps, biscuits Mulino Bianco ....)

Unico pregio la posizione centralissima.

Camera non ancora pronta alle 16.00, e anche dopo non proprio pulita, asciugamani maleodoranti,e una colazione a base di marmellate da discount, pane del giorno prima e assortimento di biscotti del Mulino Bianco... Fate voi!

sehr gut gelegenes B&B Zimmer von privat

Die Madame des Hauses war sehr bemüht, gutes Frühstück mit Muesli, Obst und Jogurt, für Catania Zentrum recht ruhige Lage, Zimmer mit platformartigem zweiten Stock für Bett und kleinem aber sauberem Bad.

Simpatia gentilezza cultura disponibilità , ottima colazione biologica , stanze ampie e luminose . Discrezione e riservatezza in un clima rilassato e informale . Bellissima vacanza grazie all accoglienza di Lorenza Tommaso e Andrea . Caldamente consigliato

アットホームな雰囲気

とても清潔で、心地よく滞在できました。 初めてのB&Bで、場所を看板で探してしまいました。番地で探さないといけないのですね。結局、近くまで行って電話をしたら、夜遅い時間にもかかわらず、迎えに来てくださいました。ほっとしました。
