This property was a convenient place to stay not too far from town. The scaffolding that was up made parking a bit tight but was still manageable. The room was hot so we had windows open which meant we could hear a lot of noise from the street.

Weekend getaway

Well appointed, good size room and bathroom, great kitchenette, fantastic location being walking distance to the CBD, Casino, Hagley Park, Southern Cross Hospital. The only issue was the long wait for hot water while showering.

Exceeded my expectations! Spacious and modern, very relaxing. Comfortable bed and great kitchen set-up. I would happily use this as a base for a longer business stay.

Great size apartment, helpful staff, very clean and offered some great extra additions especially in the bathroom. I did think the apartment was a little closer to the city than what is was, but the rooms and facilities made up for that. Would definitely stay here again.

Pro's: Really great location - just a short walk to central Christchurch. Wonderful staff, the lovely lady on reception was so helpful. Our modern room had Air-Con, and great TV options. Quick WiFi. Con's: A little loud at night, but it is on a Main Rd and so to be expected.

wow wow wow .. amazing property and staff. great quiet room will well equipped kitchen and bathroom. easy 20-30min stroll into city centre. front desk asked how were getting to airport and offered to pre book taxi without us asking :). would definately stay again.

Nice modern and in excellent repair and condition. However walls were not soundproof and could hear neighbouring units. Insufficient coffee and milk supply for a 3 day stay.

The room was very clean and had everything required, the receptionist was lovely, location very central, the price was pretty good and we would potentially stay again provided we had time to turn all heating on earlier or it was summertime. If you are staying with children or a baby in winter I advise you phone ahead and request the heating be turned on in all of your rooms as our only complaint is it was freezing when we arrived, took a while to heat and the room the children were in does not heat at all with the main heatpump but there is an oil heater in the wardrobe. We didn’t know we would definitely need that on too it would be great if they suggested it.

Thus property was very good value for money and we would definitely stay again. Centrally located to CBD and numerous good eateries. The staff were also extremely helpful when we arrived and asked if we could store our bikes in their garage which was sincerely appreciated

This room was described as a superior spa studio which it certainly was not. Just because it had a spa bath didn't make it this. They did not service the room the whole 4 days we stayed using COVID as an excuse. The rubbish bins below our room had a foul odour. The tv had no normal channels so couldn't even watch any news. Bathroom sink had no plug and windowsill had black mould. It wasn't very clean.

Very clean, very helpful staff, good location, easy access/egress, All in all a pleasant stay.

Great location apart from an awkward tight entrance and exit at the traffic light. Toilet paper wasn’t sufficiently provided, luckily we brought spares. Same case with milk, only 4 small tube was provided which isn’t enough for one cup. We checked in late so asked for a late checkout at 11am but was told that there will be a charge but they later allowed us 30 mins free late checkout at 10:30am. Spa was great with awesome water pressure. We requested for a ground level room and that was accommodated. Stay was very noisy and room isn’t soundproof. You can hear people talking on the side room and can hear movements upstairs too. Someone left a dog in their car so we could hear that too. Exhaust fans in the room didn’t work properly even though the window was open. Room could do with an aircon especially with the price. There was enough plates and cutlery with microwave. The bed was quite comfortable with nice sheets.

Wonderful accommodation close to the city center but far enough away to have free parking. Room was very luxurious and bathroom had a spa tub for two. Very walkable area close to restaurants and the botanic gardens. I would definitely return here.

I was a bit worried before we arrived, as there had been a couple of dodgey reviews. I don't normally do reviews, but in this case I felt the not so good reviews were unfair. The 1 bedroom unit we had on ground floor was excellent, it was immaculately clean, modern, and with a great kitchenette. Note that I am very fussy! More Sky channels than normal in a motel was an added bonus. Very quiet. Check in was quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely Motel

This motel was beautifully presented and run by two very nice people. There was lots of space available for three people to use. The only downside we had was that the shower was not the best for an elderly lady travelling with us as she couldn’t get in or out of the bath as there was no support. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

It was clean and the staff were very helpful. Close the city centre, 10-15min walk with a two and a half old!

Definitely not 5-star but more than adequate for a short-term stay. A number of eating places within walking distance but few of good quality; the cafes were much better than the restaurants. Great staff but the cleanliness and condition standard could be taken up a notch: cobwebs all over the outdoor furniture and fittings; badly cracked hand basin in the bathroom, temperamental mixers at the shower and hand basin and no air conditioning.

Lovely and clean - unit was ground floor and was a little dark - no air conditioning but there was a fan - so that helped. Great facilities - stayed for a week. Fire alarm went off on Fri morning at 4:20am which we were told was due to burning toast which didn’t impress many of us - but at least it was a false alarm.

During our stay it was 30 plus degrees, which I understand is unusual, however the room was not air conditioned nor was there any insect/security screens to enable the doors and windows to be opened. With only a small pedastal fan available for cooling it was very uncomfortable especially when trying to sleep. The room was well appointed, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water/pressure in the shower

We paid extra for a Superior Spa Studio Unit. Only half the jets in the spa worked. Management not helpful when we informed them as we had booked through and pre-paid through Wotif they were not prepared to offer any partial refund. Wouldn't class the Unit as Superior at all.

Very noisy road with boy racers and emergency sirens going all night on the Saturday we stayed was very to hard to get any sleep so would not stay here again.

Very dodgy Hotel owner.

I booked this hotel through wotif. I needed beds for a family of 5. When we arrived the lady on reception said she would leave it to me who slept where. I just smiled not really understanding what she meant. When we got to our spa room that was a very pokey 1 bedroom with two single beds and a queen in the lounge. We were shocked to see we were short a bed. The lady at reception said that she didnt have another bed for astart then after quite sometime decided she had a bed on wheels and very unhappily brought it out and tried to charge us another amount on top of what we had already paid for 5 people. Also didnt bring any bedding and to ask again for this. Worst experience ever steer clear .

Handy to Southern Cross Hospital

The wonderful staff went out of their way to ensure an early check in for me. As I had just had a surgical procedure sitting in a car waiting for a hotel room would have been awful. They ensured my room was the first one cleaned that morning, so I could lie down and put my feet up.... bliss. Thank You! I specified a King sized bed, and on my other stays they have been wonderful and comfy. Unfortunately this time it seemed my need may have been two singles zipped together somehow? This caused a gap between the two mattresses that I could slide my hand between. This was far from ideal when trying to get the best starfish position I wanted for sleep. This may have been due to me "hurrying them to get my room done. I would highly recommend staying here, wonderfully clean, nice rooms with all amenities you could need. The showers have wonderful pressure and plenty of hot water. If not for the crevice in my bed it would be 10 out of 10. But this time, sorry only 9 out of 10. Still pretty darn good.

Good accommodation with Jacuzzi

Checking in is quick and fuss free. The room is clean and having a Jacuzzi is great for relaxing. I like that they have washing machine and dryer for the guest to use free of charge. Highly recommended.
