Very good location for getting out to see Porto. Very nice staff

Maybe the standard for hostels has improved since I last stayed in one in the mid-2000s, but I was blown away by this hostel. I was in a dorm of 6 women and it was lovely, with a city view from the balcony. The location is perfect for all the sights. The whole hostel was incredibly clean, and the checkin was straightforward and easy. The breakfast was an actual breakfast with a variety of fruit, cereals, breads, meat, cheese, and eggs. Nicer than many HOTEL breakfasts I've had. The staff was friendly and helpful and the building itself is charming. I appreciated the locked boxes for each bed and that the beds were assigned. The nicest hostel I've ever been in and it was only 15 euro/night.

Amazing location, beautiful little room.

Great place with amazing location and even better staff. Everyone was friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming which you'd expect in Portugal but they really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The room was good and the location is second to none as you can explore the city from there and have excellent transport system in a 2 minute walk in case you'd like to see the surroundings. Breakfast was really good with plenty of fresh food everyday. Not a single dissapointment!

Go somewhere else

Tiny room. They never clean it after 3 days. No place to hang anything. Cant sleep due to light and no shades. Upside was only the location.

Catarina is a treasure. It was nice meeting Diogo, the owner. The staff were very helpful. Detailed information was given about arrival and check out. A great stay. Thank you all. Location is good, and the value is good. I specifically requested two quiet rooms and they definitely delivered. Thank you for that!!! We arrived late at night and Catarina was able to recommend to us an inexpensive and delicious restaurant nearby (Pregar, I think).

The location is good and the view is awesome. However, the wall is too thin, so you can hear everything from other rooms. My room was in front of the restroom, so I heard everything while other people are using bathroom. Common areas are open only 7:30am-11pm, that was inconvenient. TV is needed in the private room. The WiFi is never strong enough. Common areas are too small.

First time using a hostel which is very popular in Europe and very affordable. Two person room had enough space with private bathroom. Breakfast was provided by hostel which was a great touch. The room had a balcony that was connected to the other neighboring rooms where smoking was allowed (having the balcony was nice, but little space and only view of neighboring roofs, and wasn't a fan of having adjacent balconies connected).

Wonderful staff, beautiful building, delicious breakfast!

Great location, close to everything in the old historic district of Porto. I was on top floor and had a view over the roof tops and looking out over the Duoro River.

Clean and modern

Clean rooms, modern establishment, great location and friendly helpful staff. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom for two nights. The room and bathroom were both very well kept and clean. If you´re a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs because you can hear the cars passing by and other hotel guests when they´re accessing the shared bathroom. The free breakfast was a nice offer, but if you like breakfast, it isn´t worth taking- more like a continental breakfast with some bread and fresh fruit.

Nicest hostel I've stayed in

Wow! Everything about this place is impressive. We were checked in by Katarina and she was full of useful recommendations and information. We ended up using most of her recommendations and I think it really added to our trip to Porto. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

Don't normal leave reviews but this Hostel was spectacular and far exceeded my expectations. The hostel was very easy to get to and is very centrally located (just a 10 minute walk from the major square). When I checked in, the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and local places to eat/drink in Porto. The front desk woman also gave me a map and pointed out the best things to see. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing also, they had coffee, juice, bread, cheese, meat, etc.. After my stay the front desk even helped me by printing off a bus ticket I needed for the next day. Can't say enough good things! Also: remember to bring your own towel and soap for showering! They do not provide those.

적당히 좋음 그리고 화장실이 좋음

적당히 깨끗하고 인셉션 직원 친절하고 전반적으로 나쁘지 않았습니다. 근데 계단이 좀 빡세요. 다른 호스텔 4층보다 여기 3층이 더 오르기 힘든 것 같은 건 기분탓인지..? 아 그리고 한 층에 방이 두개뿐인데, 방 안이랑 방 밖에 화장실(+샤워)이 있어서 매우 좋았음. 화장실도 깨끗한 편. 드라이기도 있고. 근데 조식은 좀 별로였음. 그 돈으로 나가서 사먹는 게 나을 듯합니다

Habitación muy pequeña para relación calidad-precio. El personal es muy amable y el desayuno bueno. Está en un lugar muy céntrico y cerca de la mayoría de los sitios de interés

Foi uma ótima estadia neste Hostel. Os gerentes são muito gentis e atenciosos. Tudo muito organizado e bem cuidado. A localização é muito boa! Está perto de todo o centro, não precisando gastar com deslocamento.

Établissement très bien situé, tout mprès de la Ribeira bien que calme la nuit .Ancien immeuble (bois et granit) et une toute petite chambre, haute sur plafond, propre, avec une très belle ouverture. Un bon petit déjeuner inclus.

O hostel e renovado recentemente, limpo no fica no centro da cidade histórico. As funcionárias estava muito simpático. O hostel e um ótimo valor para o preço que pagamos.

Super Preis-Leistung! Sogar mit einfachen aber leckeren Frühstück. Es gibt nur Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln, wie z.B. Ausstattung v Gemeinschafsbaf da könnten mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten sein, Hacken oder einfach nur ein größerer Abfalleimer dass es nicht so umständlich ist. Sehr süß eingerichtet, altes schön erhaltenes Mauerwerk (natürlich auch aufgrund der Lage Lautstärke/Dämmung nicht vorhanden) daher Oropacks mitnehmen ;) ansonsten alles top! Sehr gerne wieder!

A localização é o forte do hostel! A recepção foi bastante acolhedora. O café da manhã é modesto, porém atendeu as nossas necessidades. O quarto embora bem conservado é muito pequeno para um casal. Tivemos que nos adequar ao espaço. Fica próximo ao mercado Ferreira Borges, Estação de Trem São Bento e a Ribeira (onibus hop on hop off, barcos, e principais atrações da cidade). Muita coisa pode se fazer a pé (trata-se de uma vantagem).

Fiquei no último andar, extremamente cansativo após um dia em Porto! São muitos lances de escadas!

Porto für 2Tage

Trotz der späten Anreise, nach 0 Uhr, super Empfang. Die Lage ist super, Der Service ist sehr hilfbereit. Das zimmer war etwas klein, aber für unsere Zwecke vollkommen ausreichend ud sehr sauber.

Perfect place in the Unesco heritage area. Will always be my first choise in Porto.

Ótimo hostel! Ótima localização, delicioso café da manhã e boas instalações. Ponto negativo vai para o colchão da cama que é de espuma fino, pouco confortável. O quarto poderia ter mais cabides nas paredes para apoio. No geral muito bom. Voltaria e indico.

위치가 너무 좋아서 두 발로만 여행하기 좋았어요. 투베드 너무 좋아요. 욕실이 밖에 따로 있는데 욕실 굿. 아침식사 이 정도면 든든해요.

Tolle Lage für einen Städtetrip in Porto. Frühstück war einfach, aber okay. Zimmer sehr hellhörig, mit einem Doppelbett aber leider ohne Ablageflächen. Beim nächsten Mal Porto aber gerne wieder.

観光に便利な場所で駅からも歩いて10分かからないくらい。共有スペースもドミもオシャレで整頓されていて、特に水回りがとても綺麗だった。洗面所に風力強めのドライヤー。アメニティは何も無し。シャワー・トイレは6人部屋ドミトリーと2人プライベートルームの計8人で１つをシェアなのでタイミングによっては混み合う。他フロアにシャワーが３つくらいあるらしいが未確認。朝ごはんが予想に反してとても充実していて良かった。

Placed in a very old town, in the centre, close to Sao Bento metro and railway station. Great breakfasts included. Quite noisy street outside. Shared bathrooms are not noisy and are very clean. Nice :)
