Loved Catania and this B and B.

This bed and breakfast was an amazing place. It is centrally located, only a couple of blocks from the city center. All of the great things any visitor would want to see in Catania were within a 10 minute walk. So many food choices, it was actually overwhelming. The train station where I took a solo day trip up to Taormina (or anywhere else you’d wish to go on Sicily’s east coast) is also a simple 10-15 minute walk straight down the street. The host and his wife live on site in their own apartment (they own the whole floor of the building, divided into four apartments) and they were GREAT. Had lemonade waiting for me on arrival, and gave me some home made jam when I left. Host was also nice enough to help with luggage up the stairs as there was no lift. The Jules Verne suite I stayed in was HUGE and clean, with a great private bathroom. All updated. The balcony was also a plus, with a street view and view of the church right down the street. The only negative I can think of was the street noise as I stayed during a weekend, but nothing that wasn’t solved with my traveling ear plugs. I recommend this place for solo travel or for couples. Outstanding place.

Loved Catania and this B and B.

Diego is the best amazing host above and beyond. Contact easy by mail and WhatsApp. The day we arrived he took time to show the place , tell us how to walk around town . This place very close to town but quite at night . Location is very good close to everything turn left 3 block will go to main square close to tourist attraction like church. Fish market, food and restaurants and plus shopping street and bus tour .turn right have laundry and bakery. The place is very neat and clean . Breakfast is very healthy like homemade bread , fruit , yogurt, cookies, tea , coffee etc . Plus he is very helpful and understands like we are going to left to trip early, he prepared breakfast early for us ( our 1 guess breakfast too ) On last day we left city too late and he was very helpful to allow us to leave luggage there . Thank you very much to make our trip wonderful and great experience. Very very recommended.

Landolina Air BnB was excellent! The room we had was large, spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was awesome!It was walking distance to all the restaurants , tours and main square. In the evening the town comes alive and you walk thru the streets and traffic shuts down. The brft was exceptional with desserts ,yogurt,meats,cheeses etc ! The communication we did thru Whats App was convenient and easily done. It is a little hard with parking bc we had a rental but we found a spot! Thanks again for our great stay!

Great place to stay. Huge room with original features and 2 French Balconies. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Facilities to make tea at any time. Communal fridge with yoghurts and juice.

Diego's BnB was amazing, there is nothing else to stay. The room and bathroom were huge very spacious, perfectly clean, and incredibly well decorated. It was cozy, and thoughtful through and through. In addition to this Diego is the nicest and most accommodating host, providing delicious breakfast and even a view of Etna on the rooftop if you are lucky to have breakfast there. The best place we stayed in Sicily.

The B&B and room is so gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything is in walking distance... 5 mins to the main square. Breakfast was delicious.

Our stay at this hotel was one of the best stays anywhere. The couple who manage these properties are very professional and, above all, welcome their guests warmly like their own family

Wonderful

This is a beautiful place to stay large room with everything you need and the host couldn’t be more helpful and so friendly. I would highly recommend this property when you visit in Catania.

Loved this B&B! Everything was really lovely. Very walkable and lots of restaurants nearby. Diego was fantastic.

We can't praise BB&B Landolina enough for its grand rooms with tall ceilings, location close to all star attractions, clean and safe facilities and not the least, wonderful hosts in Diego and Josie. Breakfast everyday was a grand affair with freshly baked cakes and bread, home cultured yoghurt and fruits picked from their own orchards. The hotel is in fact a large library with many interesting books, shame we can't read Italian We still can't believe that we were able to stay in this absolute gem with dream hosts at that price. Highly recommended

Landolina B & B

Lovely place - don’t be put off by ‘area’ - it felt very safe and is a few minute walk from many of the sights of Catania. Landolina B & B is run by a lovely couple, who clearly take great care in their business. We had breakfast twice on their little terrace - but this is only accessible for people with no mobility problems. The homemade yoghurt and pastries were delicious. The family room is large, the beds comfortable and it is very clean. The only drawback is the noise but with the doors to the balcony closed, all noise was stopped. The room has air conditioning and it was needed, even in May. Overall an excellent stay.

The hosts here were exceptionally warm and helpful I recommend if want a home like atmosphere.

An oasis in the centre of Catania, close to the city centre yet very quiet. Superb knowledge of the city and every question was answered efficiently. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a great breakfast served. Looking forward to staying here again,

Fantastic

Diego and Giusi are both both wonderful hosts and have designed a most welcoming space. Each room has a literary theme, and is decorated with humor and whimsy. Breakfast was great, and the location couldn't be better; easy to walk to all the sites and yet there was free parking in front Thank you both so much

A delightful small B and B just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and fish market . Perfectly placed for exploring gritty Catania . We were met by one of the lovely owners Diego who helped us with our bags up the wonderful old marble staircase which is on the fourth floor I think . We were welcomed with a cold glass of lemonade and given a tour. We stayed in the Verne room which has a small balcony over looking the bustling street . Well sound proofed and very spacious with high ceilings . There is a guest kitchen with coffee and tea where you will have your delightful breakfast . Everything is beautifully stylish and decorated . We had a lovely stay .

Excellent, modern, comfortable, clean...

Simply amazing. The personal touch and attention to detail where extremely pleasant. The apartment was stylish and modern. The room was exceptionally clean . The high ceilings and the balcony where the cherry on the top. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts/ Diego and Giusi/ where very helpful and welcoming. The building is located right in the center so you will be close to everything.

Morning breakfast was exceptionally delicious. The proprietors are friendly and kind, and went to extra lengths to help me plan my options for local travel during my short visit to the Catania region. The room was spotlessly clean. I was thankful to have BBBLandolina as my travel sanctuary at the end of a long trip. It was a great place to serve as a home base from which to explore the region.

Getting around town was difficult. Hard to find a taxi, but the room was excellent

Perfect city break - luxury without the price tag

Amazing 4 days - wonderful hosts, extremely comfortable room with lovely balcony for the sunshine ! Excellent breakfast - variety of food and all homemade. Cannot recommend Landolina B and B enough - superb location to walk to all sites and excellent restaurant advice. Catania is a wonderful place for museums, art galleries and the open topped bus tour along the coast if you fancy a city break.. use the bus not taxis as taxi from airport very expensive and bus stops right outside !

Great location and amazing hosts

Incredible place to stay in the heart of Catania! Diego and Giusi are wonderful hosts. We loved the note in the morning with suggested activities and all the happenings. Breakfast was above and beyond the traditional Italian with bread, rolls and local cheeses plus yogurt, cereal and homemade sweets.

A gem in Catania!

Great experience! Newly renovated (2018) and run by book lovers in a very welcoming house. Breakfast room was small which made contact with other guests very pleasant.The space was used in the bedrooms.

Diego and Giusi were so kindly. Everything of the BBBLandolina was amazing, great, clean room . The wonderful breakfast which I never can forget. This place is really recommended, walk 2 minutes to the DUOMO Catania.

I highly recommend this apartment provided by Diego and Giussi. It is centrally located, beautiful and spacey. Accompanied with very nice breakfast and personal care.

Tout était parfait. D'abord la localisation :10 minutes à pied de la gare, 2 minutes à pied du plein centre et à côté du bus pour l'aéroport. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait avec des gâteaux et confiture faits maison. L'accueil des hôtes est chaleureux avec des petites attentions comme une citronnade faite maison à l'arrivée. Vous pouvez y laisser vos bagages avant de partir. La chambre est belle, spacieuse et le concept avec les livres est original.

Séjour parfait à catane dans un B&B parfait !

Super séjour à catane dans une grande chambre joliment décorée avec deux balcons donnant sur la rue non loin du centre de la ville. Accessible pour les visites à pieds, le port juste à côté , entourée de nombreux restaurants typiques et juste à côté de la place centrale du duomo. Les hôtes sont de charmantes personnes qui font tout pour rendre le séjour agréable et madame nous gâte tous les matins avec un très bon petit déjeuner varié fait maison sucré et salé. Parfait à tous bon points de vue .

Excellente situation pour Les visites, les restaurants,le port, la mer ... très bon accueil par les propriétaires et un fabuleux petit déjeuner fait maison et différent chaque matin ... la Jolie chambre est très spacieuse et d une propreté irréprochable avec vue sur la rue et un balcon . Nos hôtes ont tout fait pour nous être agréable .

Our two hosts made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast we woke up to in the morning was amazing. They were always ready with advice and suggestions for lesser known attractions. In short, a great stay for our family.
