Cute place

Place was cute. Room was smaller than any other place we stayed at during our trip. The walls are thin but it wasn’t that bad. Hotel was just right for what we needed to spend the night.

For the low price an excellent location very close to Eiffel Tower walking in 15 min. Close to many restaurants and amazing bakeries. Very cozy small and compact room yet very clean and nice small hot shower. Perfect for short term stays

The hotel is in a great location, about 5 minutes walk from Dupleix station. The Reception staff are friendly and they kindly printed some tickets out for me. We had a twin room, which was fine but the walls are very thin. You could hear people talking, using the hairdryer, bathroom. Luckily, our neighbours weren’t particularly noisy.

An average total but clean and staff helpful. No major problem, but rooms are small. Expensive for the overall. Will not consider again for this price.

Only ONE bed in an TWIN room. Advert clearly stated Comfort Double or Twin Room. 1 Double Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Free cots/infant beds. Hotel stated it is Expedias advert not their advert so not their problem. Hotel couldn’t be more unhelpful, especially as I was standing at reception with an 11 year old child. I explained I had messaged the hotel via Expedia well in advance to ensure two beds were in the room. Hotel said they had no record of this, and even if they had there were no rooms with twin beds available. Highly doubtful, but not much I could do. We were only there for a day so it was manageable, but you expect a bit more consideration from a hotel. Otherwise a decent hotel for the price. In terms of location to shops, good cafes, Metro stations and Eiffel Tower, great.

Pros: 1) Location. 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. 2) Price: Great price for this location. 3) Room: Clean and NO bedbugs. Cons: 1) Management not believing me: Bathroom only had one towel when we arrived. I went to the desk to complain and was told there should be 4 towels, I agreed but said there was only one. Manager reluctantly retrieved one bath towel for the two of us. (Note: After room was made up the next day, there were 5 towels; 2 hand, 2 bath, and one in the bathtub meant for the floor).

Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Good for the money

In all honesty I cannot recommend this property. I believe we were given the wirst room as we had been caught in the rain earlier. Also the front desk rolled his eyes and said Expedia like that was low class. Our room was ground floor and the window was blocked with wooden slats. Im sure that was fir security but it also meant we eard everyone who walked by. The king bed was 2 singles made up separately. The shower drain was partially plugged so eventuall the water drained out onto thebath room floor. Ceiling tile was loose and hanging down. The sink tap was loose. Location was good. But this room was terrible. Way over prived.

on expedia i asked for a hotel with parking,this hotel does not have parking and parking was a 10 minute walk and not free. we had 4 rooms. one was not clean, the other the a/c was leaking. staff was ok one fast to switch. the rooms were small. wouldn't stay there again

Staff was friendly, however the safe didn’t work. We asked about it, and he did come right up to look at it and said it needed new batteries but never came back. We asked the next day and he went then to replace them. Also, the hair dryer will only work on the low setting or will automatically shut off. I asked about that and was told it was for safety reasons. That alone makes it take forever to try my hair. No other hotels in Europe are that way. At night, the doors are locked and we had to ring the bell, and wait for the man to let us back in. That took several minutes. (10:30 pm) location is awesome, rooms are clean, and staff is very friendly.

Decent stay, location is the best reason to book

Room was clean and well serviced daily. The WIFI was really slow even though its free. The showers also have the entire back half open and uncovered for some reason so the bathroom will get wet. Also, no option to control the heat or air conditioning in room as it was all centrally controllered. Price was reasonable, extremely close to the metro.

Location is very good up to excellent, Metro is very near, shops.... Eiffel.. Parking also is available on the street or very near by

We paid for breakfast and the receptionist refused to serve us an early bite to eat despite being told the day before we could have something. Refund request and bad attidude.

Front desk are both helpful & accomodating. They don't allow early check in so we waited for 3 hours as the room is not ready yet. The carpet is so outdated. Shower is half glass covered so we have some splashes on the floor which is so annoying. They gave 2 bottled water so it was great. The buffet has a lot of varieties. Colloseum & Trevi fountain are very close as well.

The property charge fees por everything. I have to paid initially and also at the check out. I didn't have time to argue with the front desk. So I just paid the fees again. Never come back to this hotel again.

Nothing out of the ordinary, good for a quick stay at Paris. Ten minutes away from the tower. The staff was really bad at cleaning and restocking. There is no AC, luckily I went in the winter so I just had to open the window. The breakfast was really simple, just ham and cheese, with a really hard bread.

I really wanted Beaugrenelle to be my Paris hotel, having stayed a couple of times previously, but I was disappointed. The room was minuscule - much smaller than last year. The desk people were ho-hum. Do they speak English or not? Do they understand my passable French or not? It was never clear. The neighbourhood is great, the location great, but we felt unwanted or unneeded.

Food, friends and a glass of wine

This is a hotel near my old neighborhood when I worked in Paris. I always try and stay around this area as I know it and the restaurants and where the Metro stops are. It has a lot to offer; Sunday morning there is an open street shopping under the Metro. Many restaurants close by, French, Basque, Italian, Asia and more. Three lines 6, 8 & 10 intersect at a station down the road; la motte picquet/Grenelle so you can go to Arc Triumph, Opera or the Latin Quarter quickly

The room was well ventilated, clean, and cool. The receptionist was very helpful. He gave us directions about the metro, and how to get to a couple of places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was very good too. Fresh fruit, yogurts, baguettes, etc. The room has a closet, and a little fridge. The hotel is great for an affordable price. Transportation is accessible to all points. Plenty places to eat. Metro stations around. Bakeries, and all kind of restaurants around. ATM around the corner. I will recommend this hotel. Be advised, no coffee maker in room, but you can call front desk for one. Outlets are not right next to your bed, so you can not use your devices as you rest in bed. Not a big deal for me, but just little preferences for me. I still liked the hotel, and recommend it.

Tiny tiny tiny tiny room in Paris

Ok, so I've traveled to many many places in Europe and though I'm from Texas, I know better than to expect Texas-sized stuff in Europe. Before staying at this hotel, we also stayed at 4 hotels in Italy so when we arrived at this hotel (great location in Paris! Easy check in at the front desk!) we knew what to expect. Or at least we thought we did. BUT WOAH - this room is SILLY TINY. Like tiny tiny. Small bedrooms are bigger than this room - NYC hotel rooms are mansions compared to these rooms. It was so small that I could probably lay on the "double" bed and touch every piece of furniture in the room. That small. The bed - although comfortable overall for sleeping, it was not a good bed for night time activities with my husband. The beds were actually twin beds made up as two twin beds (separate linens), just pushed together. So if you are a normal sized human, you probably have some restrictions on how much movement you can accomplish on a bed that size. Plus, the beds roll. Fun - not! And the bathroom. Though at first glance looks nice and the shower is modern, it is actually too small for the "open" design. Water gets everywhere and is incredibly slippery. Bring your water shoes or plan to be VERY careful. Then yay, get out of the shower and watch the WHOLE room steam up and be unbearably hot for the next few hours. Hopefully not more than 1 person needs to shower before you leave to get some air circulation. Probably wouldn't stay again just due to size. Beware.

It is so sad that you can book a hotel on Expedia based on the photos you see in the Expedia web pages and yet arrive at the hotel to see the room is not the room you booked. This hotel is in a great location, 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and various restaurants within walking distance, but if you are taller\bigger than the average person, this place is not good. I am 6'2" and when I got to my room I noticed that the bathroom was the size of my closet. I could squeeze into the shower but was not able to turn around or bend over or make any kind of movement while in there. The toilet was so tight that I could not sit down, if I had to. I complained and was given a slightly bigger room which was not perfect but I was able to at least sit on the toilet with minimal discomfort. No drawers, no Iron or ironing board, no coffee maker and an elevator made for a small person to fit in alone. all in all I will never go back to this hotel. On a good note, the continental breakfast was excellent.

Hotel staff service is very poor. Hotel rated as 3 Star property but barely qualifies for two star. The furniture in the room was beat up as if bought in Garage Sale. Except for one morning a decent individual, most other times the staff service was terrible, unhelpful. Service staff in the breakfast area were also not friendly

Beaugrenelle

The staff were very helpful. My main complaint would be that the rooms are very small and don't have enough storage for your luggage. Location was great, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and the Metro. Very clean. Road noise from the streets was not good. Wi-Fi was good.

Nice Hotel close to the Eiffel Tower

The hotel is good, close to the Eiffel Tower. It is about 10-15 minutes walking. The room was a good size and comfortable. The staff from the front desk was helpful and polite. The breakfast was basic, but good enough for us, served with coffee, hot chocolate, milk, juice, croissant, bread, boiled eggs and ham. The breakfast was served from 7-10 am which was very good, but when we got there at 9 am there were only coffee. The lady serving the breakfast didn't replace the croissant and bread.

The room was not clean up when we leave for sight seeing. We had to inform the reception to get the room clean.Should place kettle to prepare warm water in our own.

Great hotel, great experience

Although I was not expecting very much given the price, it was a great experience and I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms updated. Great soaps. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of extra blankets/pillows. The blackout curtain was very much appreciated and I almost never heard any neighbors or passerby. The street is quiet but close to lots of cafes, the metro and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The breakfast was basic but free and there's a mini fridge in your room. Staff was friendly and even let me use their shuttle hours after I checked out. Wifi was also free and very strong in the rooms. Great value for the price. If I come back, I will definitely book again!

Perfectly satisfactory

Well situated near shops/restaurants/metro. Quiet, without too much traffic noise. We were comfortable (good beds) and the staff were polite and helpful. Our second visit, and would be perfectly satisfied to go again. A hotel is a place to sleep, that's all. Money to be spent on food.

We had a lovely 3 night stay and loved the fact that it was close to the metro which gave us access to Paris. We walked at night and felt safe/secure at all times.

This average hotel was close to the Eiffel Tower, Metro, cafés and restaurants. Customer service at the front desk was lacking. We felt the location was safe so we could stay out and walk around to the sites in the evening.

Small, but good for the touristy location

The room was fine--clean, big enough, and quiet. The main complaint is that I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door at all times and they always came in, cleaned my room, and didn't engage the deadbolt when done. That was a little irritating. Still, not bad for an area that close to the Eiffel Tower.

Ideal location, simple hotel

Chose the hotel for the safe location and ease of access to good metro lines. Near some Paris landmarks, the good brand new shopping Centre Beaugrenelle and in a typical parisian quarter with lots of boutiques, restaurants and traditional food stores. Room was a good size by parisian standards, with a refurbished bathroom (although it didn't quite look finished). Bedding and room furnishings were very dated but clean, housekeeping was very good, breakfast a little more cafeteria than French café and noise was noticible when nearby rooms were in use, as well as occasionally from the street 3 floors down but for Paris, it was pretty quiet. Spent 4 nights there and although reception staff was polite, it could be more welcoming and friendly, didn't ask once if we needed any help with anything so if you're a Paris newbie, would recommend somewhere more tourist friendly. On the other hand, if you just want a convenient safe and clean base, this is ok.

Close to Dupliex metro stop and Eiffel tower

Great little hotel, fun buffet breakfast in the morning included 7am to 10 am, only negative was a faint sewer smell in the lobby when you walked through. I will book this hotel again..

Pay more but stay at a half decent hotel.

Yes close to major attractions but if you must stay here spend most of your time out in the city, even to sleep. The relatively cheap price simply isn't worth it. No shower curtain so our closet of a "room" was flooded. Tiny even by European standards. I implore you to pay more euros but stay elsewhere.

great small hotel, very close to eiffel tower and metro duplex, clean rooms nice staff. ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE THERE IS A SIGN ON RECEPTION DECK 18 EURO PER PERSON FOR AIRPORT SHUTTLE I PAID THAT AND BOOKED IT BUT THEY DID NOT TELL U THAT U HAVE TO PAY SHUTTLE DRIVER 20 EURO ON TOP OF THAT AND THE DROP OFF BUT THEY GIVE U A LOZZY RECEIPT WHICH DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE. FREE BREAKFAST IS BASIC TO FILL YOUR STOMACH IN MORNING.

Excellent location, 5 min walk to Eiffel Tower; Metro; Hop on Hop off buses & restaurants. We were three ladies so had two rooms it is to be noted one twin room was large but other twin room very small really only room for one person and even then very cramped. Check out 12o'clock however offered free security storing for baggage.

My first 1 star hotel!

Most terrible experience! Lobby is so not a 3 star! Not even a 1 star in my opinion.Room was falling apart! The bath tub was clogged and the neigjborhood is kinda ghetto looking! If I can only ask for a refund!!!

Nice, Good Value

The Hotel was nice. It was conveniently located near the Subway and had plenty of shops, restaurants, grocery stores and laundromats nearby. One stop away from the Tour Eiffel on the subway.

Poor

Rooms are small & cramped & the lift did not work! I suspect it has not worked for a long time,this raises the question of fire safety. As for a "ten minute walk from the Eiffel Tower" I challenge anyone to run to the Eiffel Tower in 10 minutes! Lady who ran the breakfast bar was rude & not friendly.

Poor in every respect

1.The lift didn't work, I suspect it has not worked for a long time. Only access to the 4th floor was a narrow stairway (which also served as the fire escape!) - thank god there was no fire as no other means of escape! 2. Room was small & poorly furnished, decrepit. 3. Breakfast was a joke. 4. Claimed to be close to the Eiffel Tower - a brisk walk of at least 20 mins to reach it. 5. Wifi access was not good although once connected speed was ok.

Good value, but lacking

This hotel is a good option if you're not planning on spending much time at your hotel while in Paris. But if you want more services, I would recommend staying somewhere else. The Hotel Beaugrenelle Tour Eiffel is located very close to the metro (it took us about 5 mins) and about 15 mins from the Eiffel Tower - you can't beat that location. The rooms were what you'd expect from a European hotel - small and comfortable and they were cleaned daily. The bathrooms were small but adequate and both our rooms had a shower. The daytime staff were very helpful, but the staff working the front desk at night didn't know as much information and also did' speak English as well. If you have questions, you'll definitely want to ask in the morning. We were very happy with our hotel except for the amenities. The hotel advertises free wi-fi, but we did not have internet during the entire week we stayed. They also advertise an airport shuttle, but it only runs from the hotel to the airport - you need to take a taxi or the metro from the airport to the hotel - and it costs the same as a taxi. The free breakfast was great and definitely added to the value of the hotel.

Great value for the money!

The hotel is situated about 10 - 15 mins walking distance from the Eiffel Tower, so the location was perfect. Lots of cafes and bars within walking distance. The breakfast (included in the room price) was pretty decent (the croissants were great) and the coffee (cafe au lait) from the machine was fantastic. Decent room with an AC and TV and the bathroom was nice and clean with a decent shower. We paid ~US$225.00 for 2 nights so we were happy and satisfied. The metro station Dupleixe was close by. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Near the Eiffel Tower

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. It's located half a block from the Metro station, giving access to the whole city. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel.

Hotel was good. Close to the Eiffel tower and restaurants. Staff weren't the most helpful. Breakfast was average (But very typical European). Probably would reccommend to others.

Service level: we did not experience anything special. Just the words from the front desk clerk. You have to pay for city tax. The toilet was dirty, disposable cups where not replaced, there was no coffee. The location was the only thing we enjoyed.
