This hotel was totally amazing even for the price. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that weren’t this nice

The only downfall with this hotel is the carpet is dirty , change the Capet and this hotel will be improved by one star, beside that it’s a nice hotel

The hotel is just on the rim of town so it makes a perfect option to find easy street parking for free. That way you can take a short walk to the port and not get caught in tiny one way streets. This modern hotel has a lift, large room and great air conditioning It also has a large bathroom with a strong shower head and a news station on tv in English. They put out a wonderful large spread of inviting pastries, fruits, eggs and juices for a full breakfast buffet. We weren’t thrilled with the town of Trapani itself, but as a quick stop on our archaeological adventure around Sicily, it was fine. There is also a really good restaurant right across the street from the hotel for a nice dinner if you are to tired after your long excursion. The room also has complete blackout curtains and double paned windows to help with a comfortable sleep.

Spacious

Located across the street from the train station we found The Crystal a 4 star hotel a welcome surprise. The room was very spacious & the bed was comfortable w a fantastic shower. There was always plenty of free street parking to avoid paying $14E to a parking lot. They also served one of the nicest breakfasts.

The two front desk women were extremely helpful. They were professional, friendly and full of information. The breakfast included was good, the fresh squeezed orange juice was fantastic! We ordered several items and their respond time was exceptional.

It was super. Room, location, staff, manager, breakfast room and food and service perfect.

Welcoming and tranquil

This is a really nice hotel decorated in calm colours and pale carpeting throughout giving the hotel an atmosphere of cool sophistication. Staff were very obliging the only tiny criticism is some of the staff found it difficult to communicate in English and did not know what poached eggs were. Breakfast was good but I don't like hot drinks from drinks machines and when asked waiter for pot of tea he brought in pot of warm water which made an awful cup of tea once you put your teabag in!

Friendly staff

The hotel is right by the railway station and well placed for the centre of town. The station is not very busy and so there is no noise from it. We had a room on the top floor and had a distant sea view. The room was modern. There were only five coathangers in the wardrobe and we had no drawers for storage. The hotel is better suited for short business stays than a long vacation. There is no outdoor space to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a good stay and would stay here again.

Convenient Parking & Modern Hotel

We enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to walk to the sights, as well as to drive to the funicular to Erice. Beds were comfortable; breakfast was nothing fancy, but varied choices. The staff was very helpful! They have very few spaces in their reserved parking, however there was free parking right on the street in front of the hotel.

Nice hotel

Compared to other hotel experiences this one was over rated for the price. No fitness facility; small room, small beds. All else was o.k. We just spent one night and it was good for the one night before leaving town. We have another night to spend before flying to Amsterdam and we will not stay at the FH.

Friendly staff and great breakfast

First time to Sicily and hotel staff were very friendly, showing us the best places to eat and things to do. Reception staff very helpful and will go out of their way to help you - for example we booked a mini-cruise last minute on-line and staff were happy to print off our confirmation email saving us hassle the next morning. Would stay again, excellent breakfast.

Clean, nice and convenient

Location is very good to go every where, parking is not too bad to find and stay on street parking. Room is very clean and high end style which I like. Overall we enjoyed to stay.

The hotel is hard to find for a tourist because the address given is a nearby piazza rather than a street address, and it's not in the piazza. The map that prints out with the reservation doesn't really help because it's not clear what the cross-streets are, and the icing on the cake is that if you drive or walk by from the other side of the building (which goes through the whole block), you miss it completely because the name of the hotel is only on one side and the other side has only the name of some design firm. Parking can be tricky because the hotel "garage" (which costs extra) is tiny (maybe 5 cars) and there may not be a nearby space on the street. The hotel is well run but the rooms are small, and no charm and no frills--you have to take your own bags to the room, and the first room we were shown was so permeated with cigarette odor that it was uninhabitable. Wi-fi in the room is so spotty it's non-existent. Clientele seems more business than pleasure, and lots of 20-ish guys hanging around near the computer in the lobby. A single woman might be uncomfortable. The good news is that the staff is courteous and professional, got us an OK room, recommended a couple of great restaurants, and ordered us pizza the night we didn't want to go out.

Nice Hotel!

Positive: good localization, very nice room and good breakfast. Negative: Our air conditioning was not working and there is no parking at the hotel, you have to park in the street.

FIne property, good location

Comfy room. , 1st rate washroom, however except for the shower head that is directly overhead, so even if you do NOT wnat to get your hair wet, you will. Quite room, with soundproof windows. Complete breakfast, in a pleasant natural light dining room. Good location as well, seemingly very safe for walking at night. Pleasant and helpful staff.

OTTIMO HOTEL - PERSONALE GENTILE E QUALIFICATO

The hotel room was very responsive, when someone walked by outside it sounded like they were inside the room. The air conditioning unit also failed to cool the room even close to the set temperature. Around the hotel there are several abandoned buildings which do not give a particularly inviting welcome. I don't understand how this can count as a 4 star hotel. Feels like there is very little difference between 3&4 stars and an absolutely huge difference between 4&5 stars. Can't call this an "affordable" hotel option, unfortunately. The staff, on the other hand, are very nice and welcoming.

Comoda la posizione centrale, il prezzo addirittura senza colazione troppo alto per il tipo di categoria, la peggiore cosa in assoluto, mai accaduta in anni di viaggi in ogni parte d'Italia e in buona parte del mondo è stato quella di arrivare alla reception e ancor prima di avere le chiavi e la stanza sentirsi dire che bisognava pagare prima, niente di peggiore per un cliente, niente di più assurdo nel contesto della gestione di un hotel.

Arredamenti e materiali di qualita’, colazione abbondante e varia, ottima insonorizzazione e quartiere tranquillo:garage con accesso un po ‘ difficoltoso ma il servizio di valet parking e’ efficace!

Das Hotel erinnert an ein Business Hotel. Das Zimmer war elegant eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal wirkte geschäftsmässig und leicht unterkühlt. Der Cappuccino ist sicherlich verbesserungsfähig. Alles in allem ist das Hotel empfehlenswert.

Hotel przeciętny w miarę dobrej lokalizacji

Brak parkingu hotelowego, brak regulacji klimatyzacji w pokoju - jedna stała temperatura, w pokoju nie ma nawet wody dla gości, znajduje się ona tylko w mini barze, który jest odpłatny. Stan obiektu pozostawia wiele do życzenia, jeśli ma szczycić się 4 gwiazdkami.

Soggiorno a Trapani per Congresso medico:ottimo.

Beetje afgeleefd hotel maar vriendelijk personeel, goeie ligging en standaard ontbijt (wél alle ochtenden hetzelfde). Jammer dat er geen gym aanwezig is of zwembad. Kledij laten wassen is een dure zaak, dus best kledij zelf wassen in het wassalon een paar huizen verder. Geen mogelijkheid om engelstalige ondertiteling te krijgen op tv channels.

Hotel senza troppe pretese, con buona colazione

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura per visitare Trapani e per prendere un traghetto l'indomani. La posizione è ottima: vicina sia al centro sia al porto, con diversi parcheggi in zona. Camera spaziosa e pulita, ottima la colazione. Il personale molto cortese. Unico neo il personale in reception: ogni volta che avevamo bisogno dovevamo scendere perché anziché stare al desk erano fuori a fumare una sigaretta. In conclusione: ottimo per chi è di passaggio e deve trattenersi poco.

Super recomendo

Não conseguimos chegar a tempo para dormir, mas chegamos de manhã cedo e toda equipe foi muito gentil, inclusive nos deram 1:30 a mais para descansar no quarto. O café da manhã era excepcional e o quarto ótimo!!!!

Clean and Convenient Hotel

hotel in pieno centro a circa 10 metri dalla stazione, vicinissimo a tutti i servizi. Struttura che dall'esterno può sembrare un po' datata, ma all'interno è ben tenuta, le camere sono grandi e confortevoli, i letti comodi ed il bagno ampio e confortevole. L'unica pecca la colazione potrebbe essere più ricca. Io cambierei la marca dello yogurt, forse l'hotel fa parte di una catena germanica, ma la marca Land, mi sembra un po' da hard discount. Io mi concentrerei magari su prodotti locali di qualità superiori.

Buon albergo con personale educato e molto disponibile. Però non vale le 4 stelle

personale molto gentile camera pulita ma non funzionale ( una matrimoniale è divenuta una tripla con aggiunta di un letto più piccolo degli altri (e noi non avevamo un bambino!), assolutamente insufficiente lo spazio per riporre abiti ed accessori (abbiamo dovuto usare il davanzale della finestra), ottima la colazione e molto molto cortese il personale addetto. Hotel non adatto per soggiorno al mare ( non c'è un balcone o un posto per stendere costumi e/o asciugamani anche se molto gentilmente a noi è stata offerta la possibilità di utilizzare uno stendino posto nel vano scale) .

Pour notre 1er jour en sicile l'etape a trapani au fh crystal hotel etait tres reposante la chambre etait immense mais impersonnelle mais nous avons tres bien dormis malgres le bruit un peu trop ford de la clim, tres bon buffet et personnel charmant. Attention pour le stationnement il faut bien faire la difference entre les couleurs bleus jaunes et blanches piur se garer sinon gare aux contraventions. Bon sejour a vous tous a l'hotel crystal.

over booked and transferred

They seemed to have a booking problem and we were directed to another hotel in the outskirts of Trapani. They only offered us one round trip transportation between Crystal Hotel, So we had to ask for an additional transportation to the town, which was 50 Euros round trip. The staff were very kind, but I thought they could've been more apologetic and I think there were still room for effort to ease our inconvenience.

Crystal Hotel Trapani

Vi fikk god service da vi mistet bagasjen vår på flyreisen fra Roma. De ringte til flyplassen flere ganger om dagen helt til vi fikk bagasjen vår. De var også veldig hissige på å få vasket rommet vårt (litt i det meste laget) da de til og med ringte opp på rommet og spurte om vi ville ha vask, selvom "ikke forstyrr"-lappen hang på døren.

Personalen i receptionen var toppenbra. Personalen i frukostmatsalen var katastrof. Mat saknades, bestick, tallrikar, skålar o glas o koppar tog slut. När jag vi bad om hjälp möttes vi av trevligt leende men vi fick ingen hjälp. Personalen har har tydliga problem med att prioritera. De dukade bordistället för att tillgodose gästens behov av hjälp. Oftast beror detta på stora ledningsproblem.

All'interno delle camere le finestre sono inutilizzabili in quanto le serrature sono difettose mentre il termostato-climatizzatore è difficile da azionare e si guasta durante l'uso: morale della favola? resterete intrappolati nel caldo della camera anche xk il personale è incapace a risolvere il problema in modo definitivo. Problemi anche con l'impianto idrico: aspettatevi l'assenza di acqua da un momento all'altro, anche mentre state facendo il bidè!!! Per non parlare del wi-fi in camera: un'impresa ottenere la connessione per 2 minuti di fila. E d'altra parte il pc della hall era guasto ed inutilizzabile! Le porte delle camere non sono affatto insonorizzate ed il rumoroso ascensore vi disturberà in qualunque ora voi decidiate di riposare. La colazione abbondante nasconde evidenti prodotti surgelati (Ma dico io, scongelatele a regola le torte prima di servirle). E x finire, la ciliegina sulla torta: al check-out la Ingrid dell'"accoglienza" (accoglienza per modo di dire) voleva addebitarmi nuovamente la tassa di soggiorno nonostante l'avessi già saldata all'atto della prenotazione su Hotels.com un mese prima; a nulla è servito mostrargli la ricevuta di pagamento. Richiesta discussione con il direttore, mi risponde che è fuori sede (bene, e il vice-direttore non c'è in questi casi?!). A questo punto, non farò buona pubblicità né ci ritornerò.

Fint hotell

Landade i Trapani sent och det var inga problem att checka in 01.00 på natten. Hotellet var väldigt fint och städat. Ligger lite längre bort från centrum, men nära till stranden. Sov i två nätter och frukosten var väldigt god. Servicen var bra, de rekommenderade bra restauranger och var hjälpsamma. Dock några dåliga på engelska.
