Quait rooms, perfect.
This hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The rooms are a quaint size with everything you could ask for.
Not flashy but clean, comfortable, and easy to walk to everything.
It was really good experience, I had great time very quite, nice customer service.
I have stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was really pleasant experience. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Both, bus and metro station are super close. The hotel is clean and personnel friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and having coffee machine with beautiful Lavazza coffee every morning was a big plus for me. I will definitely stay here again.
Upon arrival got lost, called the B&B hotel operator helpful. Thank you so much.
Una delle peggiori esperienze in hotel a Roma di sempre. Puzza di fogna nauseabonda, camera sporca, aria calda non funzionante (e quindi freddo tutta la notte) e staff impacciato.
I like everything
Great Central Hotel
Great and central hotel, just 14 mins walk to Termini station. Also very affordable. Staff were nice, breakfast was good and overall I recommend and will stay here again.
Everything is wonderful about this property. No complain.
Great service, staff is very helpful
This was my fourth time to stay at this hotel, starting in 2001. I have loved it every time. This time the rooms had been nicely renovated. We have had great service every time. It is convenient to the main transportation hub, Termini, and also easy to walk to many of the places we went. I was with a group of eight other people this time, and I think all of us would stay there again. .
Wonderful spot
Good hotel, tiny bathroom
The hotel was good but the bathroom was tiny. You had a space of around 8 to 10 inches to get into the shower. I am small and I struggled. Also the air conditioning unit was constantly leaking and flooded the floor by the door. This was reported to reception but was not fixed. Apart from these couple of niggles, the room was clean and comfortable
Great location, would stay there again.
Property is ok. Room was very small including the bed size. Tv was out of order. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.
The property is under renovated/ work but isnt made clear. There is alot of unfinished/ half done jobs in the room e.g bathroom doorway fittings, room doorways
Room was clean and staff and management veey helpful
great for everything the lady on front desk so helpful and friendly. 100 percent ill be back
This is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in Rome. I was there for a week and tried different hotels. This one was dirty, and the staff wasn’t the nicest. Also, this is a very old hotel so to get to my room I had to carry two luggage bags by myself by walking two flights of stairs. I honestly almost left and got another room but it was too late and so I left the next day. Never staying here again.
Great location and staff, but single room was not well provisioned. It had been recently renovated which was nice but was barely finished and needed lots of basics added (hooks, a door to the bathroom, curtains, bedside lamp, bedside table, etc.). Room was fine for a night but i wouldn’t do any longer in its current state. Also water heaters/some form of plant which was beeping all night so beware.
Great location and excellent staff!! One of the best experiences I’ve had traveling!
Pros: 10-20 min walk to most major attractions Cons: walls are super thin..bring earplugs Area around the hotel is full of garbage One bedroom room is quiet small Lack of hot water in the morning when everyone is showing Musky smell in the room
Good value for money and good location. Decent breakfast. Great staff. Very strange that room did not have any door to bathroom.
Good budget Central hotel
Basic hotel but just what you need for the Price. Location is great and 24 Hour staff is super helpful. Basic bed but If you are Looking for budget it perfect.
Great place to stay at. Everything was walking distance and great recommendations from thebstaff
Great staff! All lovely! Good location and good price! It’s a good place!
Let's start with the construction noise in the building. Jackhammering, etc starting in the am. At least it drowns out the breakfast room/lobby noise. Clink clinking of glass and plates. The wash room is right there. And these idiots don't close the door (ever) from the lobby to the halls. Most of the rooms are within earshot of the front desk. And you hear them chatting, the phone ringing because it is how they are alerted to the buzz in buzzer that every entrant must use, etc. Plus my room had a spotlight in front of the window. I had to beg them to turn it off. It is just for one random room. They could use a 60 watt bulb. TV didn't really get reception. I think they copped to having an antenna. It's tablet sized too. Heat didn't go above 30C. An AC wall unit. I couldn't use it because when I did it sucked in cigarette fumes. Shower was a joke. So tiny. Folding doors. Clogged drain. Flood everytime after 3 minutes. Wall paint could use a touch up. Noisy neighbors. Thin walls. Fridge didn't work. I alerted them to these things. They did nothing. How does this place get a good rating? They were also the only hotel out of 8 that didn't have the room ready when I arrived. I got little sleep on most of my nights in Italy. The least here. I left early.
Great location (Walking distance average 12-15 minutes) near all monuments. Nice staff especially Aurora who gave the extra mile for every need we have and her kindness make the difference!!! Everything was ok except there was not hot water in the night, only available in the morning.
This was a great hotel close to everything. We enjoyed our stay
The first night I stayed in a room which I called not livable room, dirty curtain, dirty cousin for the chairs, rust everywhere in the washroom, old and small washroom, very noisy, dirty and old
Great location and service.
This hotel was located near all the main tourist sights and the metro that helps you get around. The hotel room was spacious but with a tiny shower. It was hard for me to really move in it, but still was able to shower. There's AC which was great after walking all day, but I kept it off majority of the time and the window open. The front desk was so helpful, letting me keep my bags there before and after checkout so I can explore and not have to worry. I also needed an extra towel and she (I wish I can remember her name) was so helpful with it and every other question/need I had. The hotel room didn't quite look like the photos, but was still good. Bed was comfy. I would stay here again due to the location, service, and room.
Very walkable area tight in Rome city center!!! I loved the location!!
Very accommodating and helpful, walking conveniency an A
Warm, helpful staff Comfortable, efficient, secure accommodations Wonderful breakfast, including espresso machine (not like a typical American offering) Easy walk to the Termini Thanks!
On our arrival the room was not up to our expectations, there was buiilding works going o next door the noise was not good. After complaining, they were very helpful and changed the room, the noise stopped and they offered breakfast at no extra cost. They couldn't have been more helpful.
Staff was very helpful and the location is excellent!
Pros: comfortable bed, excellent service Cons: small showers-but common throughout hotels in Italy Would stay again
Friendly gorel
Good stay, great service. Staff super friendly
Close for some famous tourist spot. No trash can in the room. Private cars cant go in this area. Air-condition not working well
The location is just close enough to Termini station to be convenient but far enough away from the seedy elements close to the station. Once we arrived in the hotel I had such a great feeling about the place. Ayah welcomed us with big smiles and helpful words. Our room was so clean, thr bed comfy, the bathroom new and super clean. Overall the facility so new and cheery. 10/10 would recommend!
Best Hotel
The best hotel i have stayed. the beds where soft and makes you want to stay longer, bo noise enters the room, they have breakfast, the rooms and the hotel is very clean. Its safe it always has staff 24/7. They should open one in every city of italy
Cheap and cheerful
We stayed here during our 2 week Italy travels, there is only really one phrase for it… cheap and cheerful, if you want something nice don’t book here. We only wanted a room to rest our heads, but it really is just a room.
Great Staff!
For $125 per night my room was like a closet! My bathroom is much larger than that and so is my walk-in closet. I know I looked like a bum when I came in & didn’t play the part of a well groomed person, but my gosh, don’t judge the book but it’s cover! I wanted to be comfortable in an overnight flight. I have visited Rome a lot, but the room that was chosen for me was tiny for that price! Sorry 😣
Great prince & area! Room was just so tiny & dingy
All the staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I was in Rome for just one night on a quick layover and this hotel was a perfect, affordable and very clean option. I was throughly impressed. I’ll be staying here again :)
Everything was great just a little loud in the morning.
I would definitely stay here again!
Area wasn't the greatest, could hear renovations and banging thru the walls, but overall service was great, room was cleaner and bed was comfier than last place we were. Staff very friendly.
There are garbage near the front door in the street every afternoon. It smells terrible. It smells bad inside the building. The elevator is too small for 1 person and 1 suitcase. Rooms are very small and old. But the service is great. All the employees are very nice and helpful.
The hotel was clean and beautiful
A nice satisfactory budget hotel, good value for money. The staffs were very friendly. The property was clean, my room was small but clean, there was home keeping every day. Overall I'm satisfied.
Very helpful personal, and comfortable bed and room overall.
Good location and great employees. Thanks to everyone, especially Martha. We will go back for our next trip!
Bathroom is smaller than expected.
Needs updating, washroom to small. Host Aurora was vary good. Good location site seeing
This is a really nice hotel...perfect for my first time to Rome. Not too fancy, but clean and quiet, and a very caring staff. They welcomed me and helped me, and made sure I had everything I needed. There was a simple nice breakfast buffet included. I also liked the location a lot - the popular Monti neighborhood with lots of good eateries, cafes, etc. And easy to get to Termini Station and even over towards the Colosseum area. I definitely highly recommend.
Great location, great stay
We had 3 separate rooms which were extremely small and the bathrooms, even smaller. I'm 6'1" and 220lbs, I barely fit in the shower. So be prepared for that. The staff was amazing! Breakfast provided every morning. I would not stay again because of the room sizes and the pricing.
Staff was amazing. Breakfast consisted for pastries, rolls, spreads, cereal, cold cuts, eggs and sausages with juices and coffee. The rooms and showers are small but in reality- how much are you going to be in the room? I am 170lbs and was able to fit in the shower with my 7 yr old who is 80lbs. So clearly not impossible. The elevator is old school and small- but somehow it was able to hold 1 large suitcase and 4 carryons 1 adult and 2 kids. Just note the hotel reception and rooms are on the 1st floor- the sticker wasn’t legible.
Near Roma Termini (10 minute-walk). Small room, but clean. I wish they had travel adaptor. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.
Expedia instructions advised to call the property for check in instructions. I did and was told there are no special instructions. When my cab brought me to the address, there was no sign of “hotel “. It turns out the hotel is on the first floor but no signs. Next we were assigned a room that had a bad smell from the bathroom and the bathroom fan continuously on. Plus no Wi-fi or internet in the room. Only around the reception area. Next morning we managed to get our room changed and at least it did not have the smell. Hotel told us they cannot do anything about Wifi and internet. We just have to sit in the breakfast room to access it. There was lots of garbage in the street, which is really an alley. Long story short. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
Practical location, nice staff
This place was a little difficult to find as there was no signage apart from on the intercom button. On my last day though it looked like they were putting up new signs, so hopefully this issue is fixed now. Entry is up a set of stairs, but when you get there, reception is always staffed, which is a nice thing to have. The room was decent, although the shower was difficult to get into due to the odd door position. Breakfast was good enough, with nice pastries. The location worked well for me, being a 15min walk from the station, and about the same to the Coloseum and trevi fountain. The staff were nice, although not knowledgeable about the ticketing situation for the Colosuem or Vatican, which I was confused about (Coloseum - book online. Vatican museum - you can queue up). They let me leave my bag there for the day after I checked out.
The hotel was fine and the staff very nice and helpful but what disappointed us was the fact that there was false advertising. All of the pictures on the site were not of the hotel. It showed great views big beautiful rooms and bathrooms but in reality they were very small, old, and plain. Not at all what we thought we had purchased.
I showed up at the hotel and the front desk didn’t speak any English and said we don’t have a hotel for you. This was a fraud especially when they confirmed it. They also did not help me find another hotel, I found one myself and paid double. But I had no choice because everything was sold out. To the point I had to help dial the number to other hotels as the staff was unable to do that. Very rude as well as all he said to us was “no room” and hand signaled us to go..yeah!
Our stay at the bed and breakfast was wonderful. Christina was an amazing host and their home was beautiful. It is in a perfect location, very clean, and very comfortable. Christian also went out of her way to accommodate us including helping us with laundry, making us breakfast at our leisure, giving us recommendations, and was just so kind! I would stay here again and recommend to family & friends.
The shower cubicle should have anti-slippery surface on the shower floor for safety purposes. Also strategically placed one or two holding bars would be advised to have in the shower cubicle to hold on during showering.
Great location. Walking distance to Roma Termini train station, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum and Victor Emmanuel II monument. Safe neighborhood. Very friendly staff.
The hotel is in the middle of everything. So clean, so friendly stuff. Every morning my Cappuccino was served with delicious breakfast. Also I had so many hints about all popular sightseeings...
I can’t believe this is a 2 star hotel. Everything was great; breakfast was lovely; location is perfect; normal city noise and the usual morning door noise. Front desk is very helpful. Only hiccup was we requested a taxi for departure bc it’s 48 euros and you can pay with a card, but they got the driver which is 60 euros in cash. Just need to be very clear! This place is so great, so I don’t hold that against them!
When we visit Rome, we like to stay at this hotel. The location is great and the staff is always very kind.
Breakfast, good service, clwan
The service is great. I loved it. The location is excellent, and excellent breakfast. The restaurant in front of the hotel is amazing. The only to keep in consideration is the size of the room, very small, but overall I like it.
Excellent place to stay
The rooms were very clean, comfy, Safe. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and respectful. We were in Rome for our vacation. We would definitely stay here again.
Great stay
Very nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. About a 15 minute walk from many major tourist sites including the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. Also close to many restaurants.
You get a good small hotel for the price, good location, very nice staff. The room is not up to date but becuse we just slept there we didnt mind it but always the room was clean and maintained
Excellent staff, location is great. Walking distance to everything. Intercity train station within walking distance.
Very small confined cold room and very small washroom with a very tiny shower
Great Location
Hotel location is perfect , near restaurants, supermarket and public transport. It is walkable to the historical area, about 20 minutes you are at fountain Trevi and Colosseo. Rooms are good size, very clean, breakfast with good selection of Italian food. I strong recomended Hotel Italia for holiday city break, people at reception are very friendly and always there to help you. Thanks for all !!
Great location, close to many main attraction sites. Lovely host.
Helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and restaurant across the street. Centrally located. Elevator and a/c. Comfortable, quiet, & clean. We had a wonderful time in Rome with maps provided and advice from the staff. Will definitely stay here again, when in Rome.
Excellent
Excellent
Excellent location for touring Rome, 3 blocks from inexpensive metro subway.
The room did not look like the picture on the expedia--much less updated. The room was clean, but there had been the use of some sort of potpourri or air freshener that was quite overpowering. We needed to open the windows to get rid of the smell, which was causing me to have a headache. While it was nice to have breakfast available, it was somewhat disappointing in quality.
Good location, aircon good, lift works. Staff friendly. Facilities clean. Breakfast sufficient. Recommend
Great place to stay! The staff was very helpful. It’s centrally located, they provide a good breakfast, clean, comfortable, and has an elevator!
Very central location. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Good value for money.
The room was very small but clean. The lobby smelled like garbage and you had to pay to use the elevator. The reception was in a different building across the street. The breakfast was ok. Fixed menu over the 7 nights of our stay. Italian style breakfast was very tasty. There was one time that they used old tomatoes with mozzarella cheese, other than that it was good.
Excelente ubicación, facil llegar y utilizar transporte publico. El staff muy cordial y cooperador.
Great location. Comfortable Room. Clean. Pleasant staff that are always helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff and great breakfast. Great, safe location. Close to train station and metro.
When we arrive we were excited to stay at a local hotel. As soon as we got there it felt off. They tell us we got a recently renovated room which ended up being across the street. If I would have rented a closet I probably would have had more space. I was extremely underwhelmed with the size of the room. To top that off the a/c wasn’t working. We call front desk, they send someone and he says it works and leaves. We should have stayed at courtyard Marriott as planned, or even a Hostel is cheaper probably with more amenities.
Location was excellent and the room was clean and quiet if a little cosy for 4 adults! Tiny bathroom but who cares. We never got to see the rooftop terrace as it was privately booked. No option to not have your towels changed if you are staying more than one night.
The room looked nothing like the pictures. I was told by the representative at the hotel that you cannot book a room off of pictures online. That is the only way I would be able to see a room, as I do not live in Rome. Very disappointed and left the hotel and booked another room at another hotel.
Great location but overpriced for the room quality
I would stay back in this hotel , very clean and excelente breakfast.
It was a nice, clean and well placed hotel.
We had room 40 and the shower leaked when used - shower doors didn’t close properly. My husband uses a cane and had a difficult time in/out of shower with water on floor and small room.
Very clean hotel. However, my room was super small.
