Brilliant location, Budapest on the doorstep
Our room was really hot. We had an email asking if everything was ok and we let them know about it via this however nothing was done. By the time we got back to the hotel in the evening it was too late to start trying to sort it…we were tired and just wanted to sleep. It was minus 5 outside and we had to sleep with the window open listening to the traffic below because the fan was blowing out hot air even when we dropped the temperature to 16 degrees. Breakfast was basic but nice Good location, we walked into the city rather than using public transport.
The hotel and staff are great. However, the rooftop bar wasn’t open (not advertised) the breakfast was ironically really limited and poor and no kettle etc in the room, which would have been nice. Good location, given the price (tram stop across the room) and some great bars/ facilities close by as it’s on the outskirts. Great find.
Good!
Pleasant Stay
Value for money hotel. Good for few days stay. Clean Rooms. Near the city center. Staff was polite and always ready to assist. Not a enough space for clothes and luggage.
-
The hotel provided a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortably equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The location was convenient for my needs. Overall, a satisfactory stay without major flaws.
To imorove it shoukd have tea, coffee facilaties in the room. Dinning area was a bit cafe. Also to stay in evening to drink or eat was not comfortable and little shabby. Staff where first class and very help full.
Nice staff and good location.
Good value for Budapest
Good value for money, but noisy fridge and bathroom vent was enough to disturb your sleep.
I was welcomed by a really strong mold smell in the first room I was assigned to, I tried to manage but eventually had to request for another one because I suddenly started having irritation in my throat and was feeling sick, the air in the room and especially in the bathroom was so bad I just couldn't stay. The hand wash basin was also leaking, this they later came to fix. The bed sheets and pillows are dirty, stained and has hairs on them, don't know if they really takeout the sheets and dry clean them, or they just dust it and reuse for a new guest. Seems something is wrong with this B&B as it concerns cleanliness.
Very conveniently located next to a large transit hub, which made getting around easier. There are also many great restaurants and bars within an easy walk from the hotel. Overall, a very nice stay!
Enjoyed my stay, the rooftop bar was nice.
Excellent access onto the Number 2 and number 4 trams which take you where you need to be for the main sights. Staff were super friendly and we arrive 3h before check in and as our room was ready we could have access straight away. Luggage storage for day of departure too. Would definitely stay here again.
I had a wonderful 5-night stay at this hotel. The room, buffet breakfast and staff were all brilliant at very reasonable price. Overlooking the Danube, the rooftop bar on the seventh floor was a great bonus. Many thanks to all the staff, and in particular those who served me beers on the rooftop bar while I watched the world go by. I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Budapest.
Wonderful hotel
Wonderful staff, always there to help with a smile. The cleanliness and decor is very modern and I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar with it's excellent view. The food was excellent with a wide choice of items on the breakfast menu. Last but not least, the location is fantastic and within easy reach of all the sights. Will definitely stay here again.
Great Hotel
Great experience overall. The room was nice, it had a smart t.v., location right next to metro & the staff was great. I accidentally booked one less day and when I went to add another day it was painless and they didn't make me switch rooms. Also the bar/ restaurant staff was so personalable. Right away we were helped by Ben and he gave us all the best tourist spots. Then another day we had another bartender named David and even though he didn't speak my English, he was so nice and funny. And tried his best to talk to us. Everything was great, would definitely come here again.
I only thing was it needed more variety of drink and food in hotel . They said we were supposed to get river view but got a back view over looking old houses
The towels were mot available at the check in, had to wait for an extra hour to be able to get shower. The bathroom vent was broken and sounded like a wounded animal - very loud.
Reasonable priced hotel. Check in could be quicker if the booking information had been transferred to the form prior to arrival. Roof bar provided a beautiful view across the Danube. Hotel convenient for transport links. Taxi's reasonably priced.
It was ok for the money but they are lacking on attention for guests specially in service. They did not make my room once and they never put bath towels or bath mat I had to ask for them every day.
Everything was good including breakfast. But I found a long, curly blond hair on the bed. No long blond in our party.
Liked pretty much everything about this hotel! Location is great, good bus and tram links from interchange a few minutes walk away to get into city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was quiet, clean with a very comfortable bed (I slept really well,) and the shower was really hot and powerful. My only complaint is breakfast. The quality and choice of hot and cold food was great, plenty of it and I didn't go hungry. But the restaurant area for the size of hotel is far too small, both mornings there was a long queue for the food and then nowhere to sit. Worst of all was the drinks area. Just two machines for hot water and coffee, very long queues to make drinks, had to wait 15 mins just to get juice and a coffee from the machine whilst my food that I'd had to queue 10 mins for went cold! Staff tried their very best to keep up but the lack of facilities let them down. Having said that, I would stay here again as the hotel is very good value, clean and quiet. Next time I'll bring my travel kettle and coffee and make a drink in my room!
Breakfast limited so crowded
Super
Good place to stay
It’s very quite and clean
Stay away from Room #501. Extremely hot. Came down more than 3 times a day to speak at the front desk and we always got the same response. Sorry, we will adjust the temperature of your room from the office/lobby. ( apparently they can control your room thermostat ) but that never worked. We had to take showers in the middle of the night and could not get a proper sleep after over 11 hours of flight. Also the breakfast is horrible and there’s only drinks at the rooftop. Nearby closest restaurants are 30 minutes walk with the exception of a tiny McDonalds across the street. Pictures on their website are very nice for their price per night but if you are traveling on a budget and don’t mind to sleep in a sauna you have no problem. Luckily we only stayed from 2 long nights and we moved to another Hotel ( Mercure Korona ) for the remaining 8 days of our trip. Hopefully they’ll improved these issues. (Visiting from Miami, Fl USA
Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. For starters the room I had had plenty of plug sockets/USB charging points, the bathroom was tidy and the beds comfortable. The breakfast waa decent for a day of trekking, and the rooftop bar ok for a quick drink.
I have yet to be refunded. This place has bed bugs or what they are trying to convince me through Google reviews is regular bugs, and stained bed and bed sheets we were moved to two different rooms and STILL they were both disgusting. I understand that it was non-refundable however, the fact that this places cleanliness was not up to par, it is both immoral and unethical that they should decide to keep my money even though I did not stay at the property because of how disgusting it was.
It is summer, hot outside. The room was cold, and it did not change when I set the temperature to 25 Celsius and slowed down the fan speed. Finally I switched it off, but remained noisy and very cold during the night. Breakfast was less than average.
The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel was comfortable, clean, with a nice bar.
Great hotel in a good location to see the sights of the city Comfy bed and friendly staff
Poor
Our room was super small. No place to put anything away, and that was a bummer. Basically lived out of our suitcase. It was also not in the best area.
Very small room, no fridge in the room, not good AC system; Advantages: free water on the ground floor, good breakfasts, nice stuff, baggage room for free
An excellent place to stay. Comfortable and clean, with wonderful, helpful staff (who speak perfect English). Modern and well appointed.
Great
Nice and clean hotel with a good staf
Great room and good location for public transport but could do with having a kettle in the rooms
Nice room, clean
Very nice. Glad the place had AC
Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter in a twin room. Nicely decorated very clean room. The rooms were very quiet - must have very good soundproofing. All the staff we encountered were great, always very helpful. Only minor downside, we didn’t find the breakfast choice that great. Hotel is minutes from river & about 10 mins to nearest metro line - trams & buses run from end of the road, so very easy to get around. Overall a great hotel that we would happily use again if we were visiting Budapest.
Disorganized. Half of the staff were friendly, kind and concerned. Half looked like they were being tortured being there. We booked the ‘pay at check in’ option. When checking in, we’re told we had already paid (7 people/5 rooms). We argued we had not. 3 hrs. later, the person who booked the rooms was billed for all of them. So we have to deal with reimbursement because of stupidity. No towels 2 days in a row. “A vendor issue.” Not our problem! Traveling 2 days and can’t clean up? Only after asking to be moved to another hotel for no cost did we get 2 flimsy towels. Next day? No towels!! Rooftop closed. No warning. No discount in price. No alternative offered. Disappointing to say the least. And for the most part… they could t have cared less!!
After my expierence with downtown appts this was a joy from start to finish
We booked a deluxe twin room which had run out so we were put in a family room. That was fine, it would’ve been nice to have tea & coffee facilities in room as well as a mini fridge. My main complaint was that the rooftop terrace was closed, it’s such a prominent picture on the booking pages and we were really looking forward to having some drinks up there over looking the city, but there was nothing when I booked to say it was shut. Breakfast was basic but not the chaos some reviews would lead you to believe. Check in staff were very helpful and friendly. Amazing location
Great place!!
Arrived after midnight as my flight was 4 hours late. The lady at the desk was nice and I was soaked from the rain
Shower didn't drain well.
Good experience
Room was clean good transport links outside of the hotel. Quality of breakfast could be better, but overall a good experience.
The hotel is nice, the room was clean, breakfast are good. Hotel is next to the busy road, however the location is very convenient as the tram # 2 which brings you directly to the city center is within the walking distance. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming.
Breakfast not the best. Bar staff on the evening excellent
Good location that’s the only good.
Rude reception staff on arrival, the room we were given had zero towels in it, the aircon didn’t work (the room felt like an oven) which by the way you have to ask reception to switch on every time you want it on, we had to change rooms due to the faulty aircon, again no towels! Over the course of our 3 day stay we had to ask for towels 3 times! The cleaners would take dirty ones and not replace with clean. The only good thing about the hotel is it’s roughly a 2/3 min walk to the tram.
Had three nights in this place and it was amazing, I'd recommend it to anyone, clean, nice place and friendly staff.
Convenient and cosy. Room was quite spacious. Breakfast was good as well.
The hotel was clean & star very friendly, the only negative was there was no storage in the room, we had a triple room and we had a few hangers with limited hanging space & not shelves or draws, which was not great for 3 people.
Wonderful stay
The staff were helpful polite and professional.
This hotel was OK, I wasn’t expecting much for the price that we paid. Firstly, we arrived 30 mins before check in and usually this is fine, but not at this hotel, they said we can only do check in at 2 pm. We came back exactly at 2pm and there were 8 people in front of us. We waited 45 mins to get to the front of the desk, as there was only 1 person serving. The rooms were very small (3 room service) and one thing to note is that they put a refrigerator by the end of the beds (next to the tv) where we had to be careful to walk by as we would (and we did) hit it and hurt ourselves as the edges were very sharp. There was no way to turn the air conditioning off, so this was always running and it didn’t help us to sleep properly. The location is ok, it’s a quiet area with good links to the city centre (30 mins walk to the city centre) 1 hour and so walk to the parliament. They’ve put us in a room above the entrance of the hotel, so we were awaken multiple times by the morning noise of guests and late a night by guests smoking near the entrance and partying there. Some staff were nice others not really. There are a lot of things to improve, but as I mentioned above - I wasn’t expecting much for the price that we paid. They should definitely improve in their customer service.
Great location, lovely new hotel, our room has some great views. Parking was €25 for the night. The rooms were really clean and modern, with everything you need inside. The kids had their own room with 2 single beds and we had a room with a double bed, super comfortable and nice pillows. Would definitely recommend it. Breakfast was great the next morning
Value for Money
Floor filthy under the bed, pillows that have no filling. However, excellent value for money and is my default hotel for Budapest. It’s a shame those issues now make me look to consider other hotels.
The hotel was located next to a central mass transit connection that afforded easy access to all parts of the city. It was on the Pest side of the Petofi Hid (bridge) crossing the Danube River allowing easy access not only to the Pest side but walking access to the Buda side of the city, not to mention easy walking access to the park areas lining the Danube River and the Mupa performing arts complex just down river. It is also just far enough away from the central city tourist concentrations to allow you to experience authentic city culture while close enough to do the touristy things if you choose. Modern, well maintained property with comfortable and quiet rooms. Nice rooftop lounge area with a good view of the River. Good restaurant facility serving well stocked buffet breakfast and afternoon and evening meals.
The only problem we had was there was a lot of students staying at the hotel the same time as us and they were running up and down the hallways and shouting till 3 in the morning which really put a damper on our holiday
Good stay at a good hotel
Basic, but no more than you'd expect for the inexpensive price. VERY clean- the room, corridors, common areas etc. All-you-can-eat breakfasts worth the extra. Pleasant airy combined reception-pub-restaurant on ground floor with angled view of Petofi Bridge. Staff very nice and helpful. Location not city centre, but short walk from a blue-line-metro-station and number 4 and 6 trams (and other lines), so transport no problem. No fridge nor kettle in room. Nearby Aldi handy for buying snacks. I'd stay there again.
Close to the river
Overnight stay
Very clean, easy to find hotel, great shower, well stocked bar, choice for breakfast slightly limited , shop items sold on site, not a good view in rear facing rooms, very accessible to public transport, very good value for money
Location
Basic hotel with no frills , it would have been perfect with a small refrigerator at least, we stayed here because of the terrace but found out that is closed during the winter ,the shower was hard to live with since it doesn’t have a door , but overall nice hotel, clean and kind staff It is extremely well located and there is lots of nice restaurants around the hotel a supermarket, a metro station and a trolley station, you can also walk to the tourist traps and museums I will stay there again for sure Location, location
Clean room staff are helpful
Good
Everything was fine. From the price to the location and room
Attention to cleaning the floor is needed. Although, the staff was very helpful and nice. Thank you
Great hotel, breakfast was nice, staff helpful and friendly. Room was clean and warm, location was ideal just by the tram stop. View from my hotel window was great!! Price was reasonable Excellent hotel, I would definitely come back here! Thankyou for such a lovely stay B&B Hotels
B&B HOTEL BUDAPEST
I really enjoyed my stay at B&B Hotel, Budapest. The breakfast was awesome and filling, comfortable beds and great overall service. Close walking distance to train station, trams and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo and families that are traveling.
Additional Costs are needed. - Parking Fee 25 Euro - Drinkable water - Sleeper - Tooth brush and Toothpaste. - etc
It ain't half hot mum!!
Room to hot,had to keep window open all night. It was very noisy, people fighting outside, trams and buses banging all night and because had to have window open mosquitoe bites.
Friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Simple place. Great place.
Convenient location.
Great hotel for the price.
We had great access to local transit, groceries, a drug store, and restaurants. Staff were super helpful and the room was a nice size, modern, and clean. I'll definitely stay here again!!
Clean and quiet hotel in a great location
Lovely and central
Found the bed a bit too hard but that is more personal preference, also feel a kettle or some kind of hot drink maker in the room would have been a nice touch. other than that the hotel was brilliant. Nice breakfast, clean room with a great view and really attentive staff.
4 night City Break
This hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. The hotel is located about a 15 min walk from the main tourist area and a simple 2 minute walk from the river Danube where you can stroll all the way up to the various bridges/sights. There are a variety of bars/restaurants and a cute square very near the hotel too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Not very good for coeliacs as GF options not good.
The property is centrally located to many of the city’s attractions. The hotel is kept very clean.
Very comfortable room, excellent bathroom, very clean. Free breakfast was fine for the price, as much as you could but not massive choice Reception staff very helpful. For the price, it was brilliant.
Great public transport near the hotel. Walking distance to central market and Váci usta street. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Convenient location. Walking distance to downtown. Public transportation nearby. Friendly helpful staff.
Very nice property with easy access to public transportation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have breakfast in the morning for a cost which we didn’t have but looked nice. Their lunch/dinner menu was a good option when you don’t feel like going out. The only thing I didn’t love was the bed. It was just a little too firm for my taste, but everything else was excellent.
very good
Good cost- benefit ratio at this moment . Good hard modern matress. Breakfast was o.k, but the food has a slightly different range or supply on different hours. No leafy greens. Two coffee machines eliminating long queues. Extraordinary insulation of inner noise. If they had milk substitutes and leafy greens at their breakfast than it was perfect for me (I eat OMAD).
It is closed to public transportations.
Great hotel!
Lovely hotel which was clean and had lovely staff. Breakfast included was an extra benefit. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Breakfast is wonderful. The cheese they put out is the best ever!
Excellent hotel
Nice hotel with super friendly staff, rooms clean and big, breakfast rich. We enjoyed our stay here 100%. Car parking available at the hotel garage for 10€/day, which I think is more than a reasonable rate. Location also ok, within walking distance to city centre. If you do not like walking, there is a Tram/bus station just opposite the hotel.
easy to access the center
Room smelled but housekeeping was quick to cure
Great location, Great staff.
A strategically located no frills budget hotel with friendly helpful staff. We will happily stay there again on our next visit to Budapest.
Good
Staff were very friendly and our rooms were cleaned periodically. Hotel is situated in a handy place that makes traveling to see bits easy.
I loved my stay here! The staff was super friendly, the room was small but very nice! Given that it was end of December and it was very cold outside, it was warm in the room and the staff also regulated the temperature for me from their system, which I appreciated a lot! The location is amazing, super close to the 2/2M tram line, which is the one that lets you see Danube river and all the beautiful old buildings around it. Very easy to get to other areas of the city.

Excellent budget hotel in a good location for transport links
