It’s a perfect place to stay for a day or 2 before a flight out of Lima. The hosts are incredibly friendly and breakfast is good. I would recommend this place.

Cusing Wasi

The owners are a wonderful family with a beautiful home full of plants. They helped us get to and from the airport and did our laundry. GREAT place to stay near the Lima airport.

It's a beautiful hotel in a residential area near the airport in the event of a cancelled fight. The prices area very attractive and has a garden in the courtyard! Truly splendid hotel - I would recommend it to any traveler!!!

Very close to the airport, you will save time if you have an early flight. Tottus is just around the corner if you need some snacks. Quiet location. Very nice owner. The house is gated and locked.

Great Value near Lima Airport

The place is very close to the airport. It’s is far from downtown Lima, we stayed one night so it was perfect. The owner came to pick us up and dropped us to the airport.

The property was clean, affordable and the owner very friendly. He met us and showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were big, clean and the bathrooms very nice - overall very nice!

Very close to the airport (5min and $2 by taxi). The staff/owners are nice. The property itself was okay, but the area was not- very dirty, dog poop everywhere, and it’s very far from all nice places in Lima (30-40 min by taxi depending on the traffic). The breakfast was good though. Later for only a couple of dollars more we were able to find a very similar place but in Miraflores. I generally wouldn’t recommend staying there except when you have a very early flight and don’t want to be stuck in traffic on the way to the airport.

I left my bag at the property. I guess they assumed I wasn’t coming back. They ignored messages sent thru Expedia. Hired an Uber who actually wanted to help Me. He rolled up, told them I was here to collect my bag. They acted like they had no idea. He pressed them. Finally after 30 min, they retrieved it. They truly are scammers.

Very Kind & Punctual on the flight pickup! The wife cooks a tasty breakfast, with hot coffee for your send off. No complaints! I appreciate you so much. Family ran business. ❤️

We had a layover in Lima and this B&B. The owner Julio gave us the pickup and drop off from airport. He is great in explaining neighborhood and Cusco ( where we were going next). A great option for a layover.

Great and very accommodating host.

Area unsafe! There is no key for your room. My girlfriend got all her stuff stolen (documents included), and can't return to Canada. You are basically locked inside the B&B because the door to get out is locked. The room is super small and hot (no air circulation). This is a must avoid B&B!

I liked staying with these kind people. Very homey but also space enough to get some work done in the morning. It's walking distance from the airport, along with quite a few other places, but I'm not sure the walk is for everyone.

Very nice people

I demand a refund. I was standing on the middle of the night waiting to do the check in for 40 minutes and no body was there to helping me. I was not the only one there. Theyt were more people there trying to do the cecking too on a late night in a dangerous neighborhood. I had to get a taxi with the other people and pay a second hotel for that night. I didn't use the room of this scam place

The hosts were the kindest people I had ever met. Their B&B does not have a sign outside, so you might want to ask ahead for markers of the place. Do not let Taxi drivers take you elsewhere. This place is a gem in a rough place, literally. The place is so clean, very comfortable. We spent two nights. We had pleasant conversation with the hosts, they were very attentive and helped us with everything. I am forever grateful. Definitely would stay here again. Gracias Julio y familia.

This was our 1st time in peru and a little culture than what we were use to. The hotel picked us up on time and very friendly. The hotel room was very clean.

Owner was very nice, and the property is clean. The neighborhood is not safe. Had I know how unsafe, I wouldn’t have booked. I got in at 11:30 at night and even cab driver wouldn’t let me get out of the car until the owner of the property had the door open. Again owner’s great, property itself is clean and nice. But if you’re coming in late, expect a dark street and an unsafe feeling.

Great, convenient and clean!

I am horrible with names so I forget his name, but my host was so friendly and very nice. He picked me up from the airport which made visiting Peru for the first time easy. Very close to the airport since I was going to Iquitos the next day and didn't want to travel too far. Good Wifi. Loved all the plants throughout the home. Not fancy but the room was perfect for a one night stay and was clean. The private bathroom was not in the same room but it was still okay and I didn't mind. I would stay again.

The owners are nice folks and their house is secure! The room with private bath is clean with hot water and good toilet and WiFi. Beds are comfortable. No a/c but there is a fan in one of the two rooms and I would not be able to sleep without the fan in the summer. There is some street noise depending on the night. Nearby is a pizza hut, KFC or Roky's for chicken, and local options. Taxi from airport runs about 35 soles and around 25 s/ to get back to airport, or enquire with the owners to arrange a ride. Breakfast was good and met some other travelers at the table. Owners answered the door when we showed up at 1am as I'd given them notice, and allowed us to stay late due to our circumstances with difficult flights. With their reasonable price we will likely stay here again over Costa del Sol or Holiday Inn because nobody wants to spend money on a quick overnight waiting for a flight.

When we arrived we were greeted with a warm smile and very friendly couple. We got in late and needed to find food, but walking in the area this late would take to long to find something still open, so the owner took all (4) of us in his personal car to a pizza place where he waited for the pizza’s to be made and then took us back to the hotel. That really blew us away because it was above and beyond the call of duty. We are very grateful for the personal touch that made our first night in Lima, Peru an enjoyable one!

PERFECT LOCATION! NEAR AIRPORT

This was a FAMILY run hotel. Beautiful Family. Very Polite. Very Helpful. Hotel will pick-up/drop off at airport for a small fee. Room was small. But very efficient if you’re just staying one night. 10-minute drive to airport. Very convenient.

El hotel esta en buenas condiciones, solo que tuvimos algunos inconvenientes pues la habitación no contaba con toallas pero era bastante limpio. Para una estadia de una noche esta bien, pues la ubicación del hotel no es muy segura.

Fabulous service

One night between flights. Had to be at airport at 4 am and Alexander awoke to call a taxi and help with bags. At airport realized my phone was still in the taxi. Called Alexander so got driver to find and return phone. He did the with no complaint at 4:16 am.

Very nice B&B, friendly family runs it. Convenient airport pickup and drop-off. Only slight negatives were a luke-cold shower and so so breakfast (eggs, bread, coffee).

The couple that run the B&B were friendly and helpful. They took us to get some food as we arrived late and gave us a plant for some bites. The place though is in a very noisy area with kids playing until 11pm and dogs barking, etc. We were grateful for the fan but it didn't drown out all the noise. The drapes are thin, there is no fridge and the windows had been left open so there were little flies everywhere. The floors also seemed sticky and not clean.

Great host! Very helpful to pick us up and drop us off at 4am with their ride service for a reasonable fee. Very friendly. Would stay here again. Only 5-7min ride from airport lot to their place.

Great family Hotel close to airport

I was pleasantly surprised how nice and very comfortable the B&B was. Service was awesome and friendly, very sweet family. Everything was new and fresh and very clean. It's about a 10 min drive from the airport so not a lot around there but great if you need to be close to the airport to catch an early flight or even a very late one. The price was very reasonable and considering how nice it was very good value. They also took me to the airport early the next morning for a small charge. All in all this hotel offers very good value and I would definitely stay again.

Very clean; staff very helpful; laundry service; close to airport, but leaving the hotel at 0700 it took 45 minutes because of traffic congestion (depends on time of day); hot showers; all rooms upstairs; for breakfast: scrambled egg, bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee/tea, slices of lunchmeat; Santa Rosa Mercado close by is a collection of shops and eaterie (expect to do a lot of walking and looking for what you want).

Not a HOTEL just a rip off

I booked this place, since I had just a night to pass at Lime before taking a early morning flight. 1. Finding this place was a nightmare, there is no board, it is residential house with extra rooms on the top 2. The host was a nice teenager, he tried to help as much possible. 3. He initially put in a one room, then came back saying we are in wrong room. changed our rooms 4.There was no heater , ventilation & hot water took a lot of time. 5. It is basically a House with extra rooms that they are letting out. 6. The Area being closer to airport was shady , that night there was some party going on in neighborhood, so it was loud whole night. 7. Breakfast was aweful, we just skipped it

Great for overnight near the airport!

This is a great little overnight B&B if like most people looking to stay near the airport you have a connection through Lima. We used this family run B&B twice when we had late flights into Lima and early departures out again the next day. It’s location is only 5 mins from the airport in no traffic at night and still only took 15mins to get back to the airport in the morning in Lima’s terrible morning rush hour... It’s a simple nondescript place with no fancy mod cons but the owners are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean with clean sheets and hot water showers, the bonus on top is good WiFi in the room and a nice simple breakfast in the morning, even if you need to leave at 5:30am, they still get up and cook you eggs and lovely fresh bread hot coffee etc! The neighbourhood around the airport is quite rough and it’s not a safe place to be out at night, but Cusing Wasi is safe little haven near the airport best for a quick and convenient overnight stay!

Fantastic value, super convenient location!!

Had a great 1 night stay here overnight. Our flight arrived in Lima very late and we flew out the next day to head to Cusco, and this was a super convenient hotel stay by the airport. Outrageous value for your money. The breakfast prepared was superb, nice dining area with a view of the courtyard. Very clean room and common areas. Spacious room. Totally worth it to arrange airport drop off and pick up service through the it's much cheaper and easier and more convenient than booking a taxi at the airport. Great bang for your buck! The owner was also very friendly and funny, made for a pleasant stay.

Close to airport with friendly host

This was a good place to stay near the airport before our morning flight the next day. The family is very accommodating and provided us with a great breakfast and transportation to the airport. The area around the hotel is not the greatest, lots of traffic, but if you're just looking for a place to rest your head before you fly this is a great place.

The place was very close to the airport and staff was very friendly. The room was clean but it took longer time for the water in the shower get regulated to a nice temperature. The option to be picked up from and drop off at airport was a nice thing about staying there.

Airport shuttle service for $15 roundtrip was a huge perk. Traffic to the LIma airport is very bad so I highly recommend if you just need a quick stop before your flight. Nice breakfast and we were comfortable in our room.

Hospitable and relaxed

The overnight stay before our flight out was perfectly relaxed. The owner fixed us a great breakfast with good coffee and fresh orange juice, and kindly drove us to the airport in the morning. I'd recommend Cusing Wasi and would stay there again if I'm in Lima.

The hosts are extremely welcoming, kind, and accommodating. We called in the day before and said we were going to be flying in at about 1:30am. They offered to both pick us (me +1) up and take us back to the airport for a reasonable fee (this fee would be comparable or cheaper than a lyft in LA for the similar distance/time). The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Simple eggs/toast/ham and orange juice. Overall the stay was very comfortable and affordable. I would recommend to a friend and visit again. Tip: I would prepare to bring cash to pay for the stay and driving fee to the airport rather than pay via credit card. Cash is preferred by the owner.

B&B Cusing Wasi was wonderful! I arranged a Taxi through the hotel and I was extremely glad I did because it would have been a challenge to find on our own. Our flight out the next morning had moved a couple hours earlier and we couldn't get a taxi to pick us up at 4AM. The owner of the hotel woke up and drove us to the airport himself. 10/10 service. We did have to pay in cash when we arrived, but I was expecting that based on other reviews and we found it to be fairly typical across Peru.

Dirty Room

We stayed here one night to take an early morning flight. Hard to find the place, no signs. We were cheated by the receptionist, who did not honor hotels.com rate. She wanted a cash payment and overcharged us because we used VISA. The room on 2 nd Floor had a dirty floor. The hallway had poor lighting. We would not stay here again. There are nearby places.

Perfect for an Overnight Stop

We landed at the Lima airport late one night and had a flight mid morning the next day so we decided to stay here. There was an exceptionally smooth process to arrange transportation between the airport and the hotel going in both directions, the breakfast that was included was nothing extravagant but very good nonetheless (eggs, toast, juice, coffee, tea, fruit), and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, too. I would highly recommend this hotel for a quick stay. I don't what there is for entertainment around the hotel, but I would recommend the hotel itself for a long stay, too.

Brief lovely stay and great hospitality

Enjoyed one night at B&B Cusing Wasi on our way through Lima. For a modest fee, the B&B provided efficient transportation from/to the airport, which was a good thing since we were told to be cautious with taxis. Enjoyed getting to know the friendly proprietors and family, eating a delicious breakfast, having a cup of tea and appreciating the air and flowers in the lobby garden. Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, much appreciated after a long red-eye flight. With limited time, we took an Uber ride to the Barranco district which took us by the beaches. There, we walked around the Bridge of Sighs, arty neighborhoods, tried “Nikkei” cuisine at Hosso - a fusion of Peru and Japan, and checked out the MAC modern art museum. A great time, look forward to returning soon!

We stayed only one night. It's cheap and near the airport. The staff is very kind.

B & B review

Hard to find place, clean basic B & B close to the airport, not many dining options in the surrounding area near the property. The was not tourist friendly.

Close to airport with very helpful hosts

We had significant delays at the airport and were worried that our pickup person(owner) would no longer be there considering that it was middle of night but to our pleasant surprise he was still there despite one and a half hour of waiting. So really appreciate that. The breakfasts was really good. Room was tidy and clean but of average standards. However would recommend for a night stay while in transit.

Between Flights

We only stayed at this hotel for about 4 hours between flights. The owner picked us up from the airport just before midnight and dropped us back again 4 hours later for USD15. Everything ran smoothly. The hotel is only 5 mins from the airport. Convenient

The owner picked us up from the hotel late in the evening and dropped us off early in the morning. He allowed us to use his computer at no charge to print our boarding passes. Our quad room was a small apartment.

Stay away! Ugly B&B in terrible neighborhood.

I had a 12 hours delay in Lima airport so I wanted to sleep with my family a few hours in a bed near the airport. I saw good reviews of this place so I decided to stay. Neighborhood is marginal. We barely got any sleep due to people drinking in he street with loud music on the cars. Loud sub woofers made you feel the music in the walls. Upper glass on the door hadn't had a glass so a huge bug came in. After killing it some minutes later we put some pillows to cover that glass-less mini window. It was hot and the room had no AC, just a fan. We woke up early, we refuse to eat breakfast as we wanted to get to the airport as fast as we can. We called a Uber. While we were on the street waiting for it, staff from the B&B suggested us to wait inside the gate. (that scary the neighborhood was). Uber arrived and after avoiding some loose street dogs we left to the airport. Quite an experience.

OK for a transfer stay

I have a 12-hour (in day time) transfer in Lima, so I decided to stay near the airport, saving some money for the transportation back and forth to the city center. I just need a place to take a shower and a nap. The place is OK for the purpose. you can also find some bistro and stores around.

Nice comfortable overnight stay

Needed a no hassles place close to the airport for an overnight stay and got it. I opted for the airport pickup/dropoff, and they were on time and convenient. The rooms themselves were comfortable for a night, and I got my own bathroom. The hosts are extremely friendly, and served a nice hot breakfast before I headed back to the airport. Choose this if you want to be close to the airport and get a good night's sleep.

Perfect place for airport overnighting

We had an unexpected overnight in Lima because of airline issues. We found this place, and we a bit sceptical because of the inexpensive price. We were picked up (even though our plane was late) with good humor, and took the scant 10 minute ride to the hotel. Checkin was easy, the room was clean, hot water was plentiful, and the bed was comfy. They carried our luggage upstairs for us. We needed to eat, and they pointed us a short walk to "Rocky's" which had a great dinner. Breakfast the next day was welcoming, yummy, and with fresh squeezed orange juice. We truly loved it and will use this place for our regular overnights in Lima.

Great stay close to airport.

Not in the touristy part of town. For a quick stop and stay, this place is great. Not the worst, not the best. Comfortably in the middle. Very friendly staff. Free good breakfast.

Great hotel in great location

We loved the location of the hotel as it was near enough to the main square and cathedral yet it did not require walking up any hills. The room with fireplace was very large and historic looking, but had a modern bathroom, and a small balcony overlooking the street. A little street noise but normal for Cusco. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel near many restaurants, shops and small markets.

Nice B&B close to airport

I was collected by Julio who spoke good English & was very friendly. It was a late collection from the airport. He checked me in & gave me a complimentary bottle of water. The room was spotless & very comfortable with a lovely hot shower. I had an early start, but they happily gave me breakfast at 6:15am & I was then taken to the airport for my flight. It was exactly what I had been looking for as a quick overnight stop.

We arrived much later than expected and was not sure of the neighborhood we were in but the owner was more than accommodating and friendly and even drove us back to the airport personally. I would definitely go back to this B&B if staying near the airport.

Nice place close to the airport

We stayed at this place for one night to get on the early flight. It's very close to the airport. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, good hot shower. The family that has this property is very nice, they prepared an early breakfast for us which was very good. We booked a taxi ride from the airport and back. They very on time waiting for us and get us back to the airport on time. We recommend this place if you need to stay close to the airport.

Overnight stay

Room was quite small but we were only staying one night and wanted a hotel near the airport. Hotel was noisy with late arrivals (like us) and early departures (like us). We took advantage of the airport pick up and drop off (as we arrived late) for $15 USD return. The trips were both hair raising. The hotel suited our purpose.

We chose B&B Cusing Wasi because of its proximity to the airport. This was important because of an evening arrival in Lima and an early departure the following morning. The B&B was attractive and secure; the staff was friendly. We were able to exchange dollars for soles at a better rate than at the airport. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were good. The cool breeze from the balcony made the warm evening comfortable. The room appeared very clean; however, the breeze apparently brought in soot from the street, and my husband's white socks turned black after a few minutes walking in the room. Although the shower had hot water, the sink had only a cold water faucet. My main complaint regards our return to the airport. We had paid for round-trip transfers to the airport. Because a group of 4 needed to get to the airport at the same time as my husband and me, the owner called a taxi to take us, There were 3 problems: the taxi driver demanded that we pay him; he did not drop us off at the departure terminal, but outside the airport area, about a 5 minute walk from the terminal; he handed our bags to a man who wanted to wrap our bags in plastic and who expected payment for taking our bags.

Clean and comfortable, friendly staff

Great place! The owners are very friendly and the room and facilities are clean and comfortable (and a nice hot shower, can't complain about that!). The accommodation is extremely convenient to the airport which makes it ideal for an overnight stay. The owners were very accommodating, they offered us in advance an airport transfer for a small fee, which we didn't take as we had friends to transport us - but our flight was late and we didn't end up arriving at the B&B until well after midnight, and still we were courteously greeted and taken care of. Breakfast was delicious, lovely fresh produce. We had a great experience, thank you(!!), and we highly recommend this place to others. :-)

Very close to the airport

If you look for a place for one night very close to the airport, this is the place. After a long trip, it was nice to have a pickup service with a bottle of water each! Since we had a very early flight the very first morning, they were kind enough to fix us breakfast with eggs at 4:30 AM!!!! Thanks again!
