The friendly staff. Facility is great, we will recommend and will re-stay. The toilet fills every hour which was a bit annoying during the night.

The hosts at the Baywatch are amazing. Lively, fun, informative and mad a great hot breakfast brought to our room. The view was beautiful to the ocean. Great park nearby. Wonderful stay and will come again.

Great view of bay from room 15 . Perfect 2 bedroom and living space for 3 people. No road noise. Train noise not significant for us. Warm and cosy on a cold day.

Nice clean place but noisy.

Very noisy location. Highway one side. Train track on the other. But I reckon most if not all motels in Timaru suffer highway noise.

Great stay. Overlooking the bay and sea. Railway noise insignificant despite overlooking the line . No road noise despite being on SH1. Accidentally left items behind- very helpful hosts solved the problem. Great location walking to beach by and town. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous view of Caroline Bay! Clean and you can walk up just a few blocks to a nice restaurant. Spacious sea view room.

Lovely spot but the noise from running taps of other rooms constantly woke us up. Right on the train but that did not bother us as only a few a day.

It was cold and the heater was broken it would only work on the lowest heat. Not enough blankets on the bed. Poorly maintained

A bit of a walk to town center, the gardens and beach are a sort walk and fun to stroll on your way to town center. The train runs just below your window, didn’t interrupt sleeping.

We had The Villa which gave us plenty of space. The rooms were well furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Parking was at the front door. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to revisit.

Good location and plenty of room but the bed was old/ worn out and uncomfortable. Decor is getting very tired

Not that Central but nice enough. We stayed here as we wanted to see the Little Blue Penguins, which we happily did!

Great Overnight Stay

Good overnight stay. Excellent service and a comfortable room with a good view. My only complaint was the room had an old fashioned heater that didn’t warm up the whole area. Upgrading the room with a heat pump would have made it perfect. I would stay here again in summer but not on a winter night.
