I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It was super cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location is perfect—just a two-minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. There are a few food options nearby, but I actually enjoyed the hotel’s dinner offerings quite a bit. I highly recommend booking your rental car through the hotel, as it made everything so much easier. The rental company they work with was also more affordable than other options we found. As a nice touch, they even left balloons and a sweet note in the room for my friend’s birthday. One thing to note: the hotel charges a portion of your stay upfront after booking, and then the remainder is due a couple of weeks before your trip. Expedia offers a "reserve now, pay later" option, but the hotel explained that wasn’t their policy, which was a bit confusing at first. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

The Perfect Snorkling Area

Staff interactions were genuinely warm & very personalized. Room was spotless. Shower a bit slow to drain was our only very minimal importance complaint. Lovely property & beach access to the resort was amazing.

Good ambiance, safe, peace and quiet, really relaxing..

The service is supreme and the front desk staff go out if their way to help you and make your stay comfortable. The walking score is amazing. There is an onsite restaurant with a great menu as well as a walking path that leads to your choice of a romantic restaurant on the beach, an ice cream shop or a pizzaria! The golf at Blue Bay is conveniently clise and we played there twice. Really nice for a romantic getaway. Lots of places on the ground to sit and talk and eat and relax. Rooms are good sized. No cable.

We had a lovely time at Bayside, it was clean and very well kept. The pool was clean and open 24/7!!! The beach was a stone throw away and VERY safe in a gated community. We would go back in a heartbeat. We rented a car to tour the island and we had tones on parking options and never worried about security. We will be back

Good experience at the Bayside boutique hotel. Our suite was spacious and well appointed. Janna was amazing! She noticed we had a kid that was unwell and went above and beyond to give us special treatment! Overall, the staff are spectacular, friendly and helpful and made our stay memorable.

Bayside Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem of a hotel. We stayed there in 2023 for two weeks and it was glorious ! The staff is amazing, always accommodating, always with a smile on their face and always go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is memorable, comfortable and above expectation. We recently stayed there on March 16th due to an issue with our airline cancelling our flight. Bayside not only accepted our reservation at 10pm (after their front desk closed for the evening) but staff came in to receive us and provide us with the same excellent care that we would have received at a 10 am check in. If you are even remotely questioning whether this hotel is worth staying at - IT IS !!

Stunning property steps from Blue Bay beach with amazing customer service. The personalized card in the room and the guided tour on arrival made us feel so special. Will have to come back for another stay at this beautiful gem of a hotel.

Our one night stay was very disappointing. The room was a corner room near the Staff Room. The safe deposit was broken, the TV was challenging, no iron, no face towels. The outside table had used glasses and bottles and not clean. There is no elevator. The view of the ocean very limited. For those who have mobility issues or wheelchair bound, this is not the hotel for you.

This property is for young vacationers. No one over 60 that is not in shape. Our room was at the top of the property - 6 flights of stairs up the side of a mountain and NO elevator! The room was a king suite that had it's pluses and minuses. The staff was top of the line. The onsite restaurant was excellent and so was the one at the beach. I made the mistake of assuming the property was on the beach, but it's not. It is a fairly short walk, though. The beach and surrounding amenities were very nice. The water was a beautiful aqua and protected. Nice sunsets.

Overall, great experience however the servers of the restaurant that is owned by the hotel were not professional and incredibly rude. You also need a car around the area! I cannot remember the female server but she needs to do better in serving the customers. Overall, an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to other tourist that come to Curacao!

This property is very nice and the staff was very friendly. However, the food at the restaurant in the beach was not so great. Also, you must have a car to get around if you stay at this property. There are no restaurants nearby (besides the one in the hotel which I didn’t try and the ones at the beach which wasn’t great).

This was our 3rd trip to Curacao and we chose to stay at Bayside as we absolutely love Blue Bay and the hotels location to the beach! Our king suite was perfect for the week! The front desk ladies were incredibly welcoming and the restaurant staff were kind, and prompt. We returned to the restaurant several mornings for breakfast and a few nights for dinner. On our first morning at breakfast, our waiter approached the table and heard my husband's voice and immediately said "I know you!" while we were perplexed as we did remember him from our 2nd trip, he said " You were here a few months ago with your kids!", so he remembered us. THIS is customer service and solidified why we love it here so much! Kudos to him! We would definitely return to Bayside as the room, people, beach, sunsets, restaurants and location were perfect for us.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

This vacation was exactly what we were looking for, relaxing and easy. The hotel staff were very friendly, lobby staff so helpful, and location next to the beach was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were always beach chairs available and the snorkeling off the beach was pretty good. We only wish the food was a little bit better. The food was all okay, just nothing excellent.

I had booked a Superior King Size Room at Bayside Boutique Hotel on Expedia. The features mentioned on Expedia do not exist!! The promised kitchenette has no silverware, no plates, no cooktop. Not even a bottle opener or cork screw! I had to beg the barman to borrow a bottle opener and some silverware, so we could use up our food items which we still had from our previous condo in a different resort.

The girls at the front desk where very help full. When we needed something they did it right away. If you are looking for a place to stay i would have you stay here.

Stayed at Bayside Boutique as the scuba shop we were using for several dives was attached to the property so made it convenient. It was better than we could have expected. Rooms were clean and kept stocked with coffee. Housekeeping came everyday (which I feel is rare since Covid). Gym and pool were small (we didn't mind, we didn't use them) but adequate. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The woman that checked us in gave us her recommendations on sites to see based on how long we were in Curacao and went so far as to walk us to our room and show us how to use the slightly finicky safe. Would absolutely recommend!

Pretty boutique hotel that was well kept and steps from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful but were not always available. No one around in the evening and not everyone knew how to solve the problem. Morning staff were knowledgeable. Amenities such as shower caps, facial tissue, bath gel for the bathtub, toaster and paper towels for the kitchenette were not there.

Disappointment

Internet service was poor. No laundry or laundry service. Attitude of some of the workers was nonchalant particularly the management here. A continental breakfast was 17 USD.

They took a 100 dollar deposit and said they woukd return it but i only see the charge and cannot call since i don t have service to figure out why it wasnt returned like they said it would be

The staff was super awesome. Norman was our Superhero, he really looked for us. My only dismay was a lot of stairs climbing however, the upside to that was, I got my daily exercise in. I would definitely return.

We absolutely loved this Place! Deluxe room was a good size and quite comfortable in a great location near, but not too close, to the pool. Each time we used the pool we had it all to ourselves. The other guests were couples, no children, quiet and respectful. We each had our own little patio and space. Staff was amazing, especially Richard. He went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Polite, personable, knowledgeable, and offered us a drink on the house upon our late arrival (midnight) when we had a little trouble finding him to check in. Thank you Richard! The short walk to Blue Bay a beach was no issue at all, and this was the mist beautiful beach we found on the island. Always had lounge chairs available in shade or sun, beach bar, great snorkeling right off the beach. Location was pretty much in the center of the island and was great for exploring the island from end to end. Highly recommend!

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was clean, but the lighting was too dim if you want to read. Bathroom was good, shower was excellent. WIFI was unreliable. The restaurant had very tasty food. Close to the beach which had a great snack bar.

Amazing Hotel

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Bayside Boutique. The hotel is fairly new and everything is clean and beautiful. They have an excellent staff, especially Itala and Norman. They always went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They are located in Blue Bay, which is gated so we always felt safe. The beach at Blue Bay is also amazing, which has a bar and a restaurant at the beach. As well as, Bayside has a bar and Restaurant. The food at Bayside was top notch. Offered a buffet breakfast every morning so we took advantage of that before heading out. It's a nice quiet area located close to a supermarket and all of the best beaches on Curacao. I would highly recommend this place. I'm already thinking about heading back one day as Curacao is just a beautiful island with so many things to do. Even after our 2nd time, there are still things we missed.

The Internet and TV service is not the best. It drops constantly. The main door and the bathroom doors don't have any way to stay open if you want them to stay. There should be a hook or a way to hold them up when needed. I had to keep putting the garbage bin of the bathroom to keep an space in between.

Great hotel in a middle of a lovely resort. Quick walk to the beach. People running the hotel were very helpful, including arranging a cab to pick us up from the airport. The hotel restaurant was very pleasant. Note that the rooms use 220v plugs, so bring adapters. We didn’t, so the hotel staff provided some for us.

I loved how quiet and peaceful it is. I stayed in a very reasonably priced suite and the view is fantastic. The staff were all very helpful and by the time you leave seem like friends. I have stayed here 6 times and will continue to do so.

The staff was wonderful to deal with, readily available to help in any way. Location is safe as u need clearance to enter the resort/village. Less than 1 min walk away from the beautiful blue bay beach which has plenty of privacy as it is a private beach. Beautiful snorkel opportunity. If u can manage to rent a car, this place is a gem, otherwise still a solid good find. Would recommend 10/10 to friends and definitely coming back again. The area is also very close to major activity like punda/otrobanda.

Thankful for Bayside Curaçao!

Last week, I was a guest at Bayside Boutique traveling from the U.S. The property is truly breathtaking, with excellent service and beautiful accommodations. From the moment that Norman checked us in, as well as for our entire stay, he was exceptionally professional, highly knowledgeable and incredibly thoughtful.

Had s wonderful stay here. Stayed here for a week. Great place with amazing staff. A very small charming hotel. Would definitely go back The only thing I would suggest would be to add more blankets. Was cool at night with the A.C. which was good but no blankets available to keep warm.

Amazing Hotel

Bayside Boutique is an amazing hotel. First, it's not too far from downtown and it's located in a gated community, which was extremely safe. The hotel itself is just plain amazing. From the time you arrive you feel welcome and if you needed anything during the stay, they provided it to you. We had an issue on our last day on the island. We had left our lights on our car on overnight. When we went to start it, it didn't start. We contacted the rental company and had no idea when they would show up. I spoke with the hotel and their security came within 5 minutes and had the car started. They saved our last day on the island. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. It was great that they also had a bar for drinks. The hotel was just a short walk away to the beautiful well kept beach. At the beach there was another bar and restaurant which we also enjoyed. The beach was great for snorkeling and we saw lots of colorful fish. Had plenty of lounge chairs and waitresses walking around to see if you wanted a drink. I would highly recommend this hotel. After driving around the island we realized that we were very fortunate to have chosen it. There were many others that didn't look that great or were in not so good areas of the island. I can't wait to go back one day. Just an amazing place!

Nice hotel, but staff could be nicer

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days and enjoyed the proximity of the beach, which was beautiful, small and hence not too crowded. The facilities of the hotel and our spacious room were very nice and comfortable. We dined almost everyday at the hotel restaurant and the food was mostly quite good, with few exceptions. The staff was generally ok, but they were often very direct which seemed a bit impolite. At the end were charged late check out, after overstaying 10 minutes longer than what was agreed with the reception - which left a bad aftertaste. Staff was also not present after 6 or 8 pm, so when we had issues, we couldn't be helped, because the waiters from the restaurant were too busy to come.

Great eight days

We had eight beautiful days in a large, not too expensive and very clean room.Convenient location whether driving or depending on tour guides. Spent time at the nearby beach for swimming and sunset watching

Fine stay on the beach at Blue Bay Boutique Hotel

There is no front desk, so reception is at the bar. It helps to call ahead if you are arriving on a late flight. Also we arranged our checkout ahead of time as we left at 06:00. The hotel restaurant is good, as are the two restaurants on the beach. The beach is very nice, and just across the parking lot. The dive shop is very helpful. We had a very comfortable stay overall and I loved the location, as it is close to the airport by car but not in the city. A minor drawback of the location is that it is close enough to town that you can smell the oil refinery on occasion. As gay travelers, we felt welcome here. The room service was a bit lacking, but the biggest glitch came because the room service tag blew off our door onto the ground. Oops. The staff are very pleasant in general. Rooms as non-smoking but smoking is common in the restaurants, which is surprising to us as Americans. The restaurants are outdoors for the most part, which helps, with an indoor option if it is rainy. It did sprinkle on occasion but blew off fairly quickly. That the staff are versed in Dutch, English and Spanish as well as Papiamento. It seems that many Dutch young folks come to work for a few months on break from school. The room is very modern with a sliding door to a terrace and sitting area. A small sink and fridge allowed us to eat breakfast and coffee on our own. The shower area has a nice rain shower head as well as a wand.

I wish we had a better room with insect screens!

While the area is full of mosquitos, there is no insect screen on the doors and windows. The room was dark like a basement, we could not leave the doors open to get fresh air. The room smelled like a wet towel, maybe it was from the shower drain. The cabinet above the sink was a hit hazard to the nose, it was non standard. Asked almost everyday to change the room, no success. The crew were very nice and cooperative, but they couldn't do any help. We could not change the hotel, because it was prepaid thru Hotels. com

Reasonably happy …But…..

No washcloths, had dishes and utensils but no previsions to clean or dry them. No blackout shades for patio doors a constant peep show until I found the louvered doors outside. Spotty WiFi , Not so smart TV. No cable No satellite. If you have NetFlix you might be happy but we didn’t, TV to old for PlayStationVue. So our only outlet to the world was YouTube when it worked due to poor WiFi. Great coffee machine!

Very nice hotel on the beach

Not great, but not terrible

I stayed at Bayside Boutique for 3 nights. Location is good being 1 minute walk from a nice beach and restaurants. Also inside a gated resort, so felt very safe. Not luxurious at all... I stayed on room two two five which was standard and there was a promotion when I booked the room through Expedia saying I would get free room upgrade and it didn't happen, so that was annoying. Also, it was supposed to be a room with a king size bed and they put 2 twin beds together, so there was that space in the middle and the bedding was 2 twin sets of sheets and comforters... I'm an adult and would like to have at least a queen size comforter. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible. Shower is good, but VERY hot in the bathroom since the door doesn't stay open, so no AC in the there. AC in the room was great. The bar is the reception desk and the girls were not very friendly, the guys were nice. I guess it's the Dutch culture....? not sure. But they are definitely not customer oriented. I had to pay $4 for a simple adapter for the wall, since they couldn't lend me one for 3 nights. I also asked if there was a place for me to shower after check out since I had 2 hours to spare before going to th airport and wanted to enjoy the beach. It took them way too long to figure it out, so I just decided to check out and get ready and spend my last 2 hours in the restaurant. The manager was not there. All in all an OK stay, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Beautiful setting , two minute walk from the beach.... a little isolated so good idea to rent a car ( 45 dollars a day ) as taxis are expensive and not overly abundant.

The manager, Richard, went above and beyond for service...as did the entire staff. They made us feel welcome and very much at home...albeit home with a fantastic ocean, great snorkling and romantic sunsets!

When we arrived we did not know the bar was the check in counter and were immediately welcomed with two complimentary drinks. The manager and staff ensured we needed to know anything we needed to know and took the time to show us the room and a few minor details about it. It is a great place for quiet relaxation. Nobody bothers you. The staff was helpful and even when we did not like the fish at dinner they did not hesitate to make up for it and ensure we were happy with our meal. We had zero problems.

Nice hotel

I just got back a few days ago. The hotel was nice and quiet. My room had no blackout curtains, but I survived. It's a few steps away from the beach, which, is small and gets crowded fast. You cannot walk to anything, you need a car OR just stay in town. The restaurant downstairs was nice and had good food. I was surprised that there was no gift shop or anything nearby...
