Stay somewhere else

First room seemed ok, however the shower sprayed water everywhere. Walked to the front desk since there was no phone in the room. The desk agent stated I couldn’t change rooms (due to night audit beginning), but she changed the room anyway, the second room had no heat, I called the desk from my cell phone, I was told there were no other rooms available. When I stated I’d call corporate I was told they aren’t governed by corporate, when I reminded her of the Wyndham part of their name, my room was changed. The floor of the room was dirty. Overall, not a good experience at all. Won’t be returning.

Excellent staff

This place will never be mistaken for a luxury hotel, but it's a great place to stay for a night. It's clean. The bed is comfy. It's a great location. And the staff is excellent. Helpful. Friendly. Professional.

The first room had a leaky sink then the other room we moved to the people above us were yelling stomping & threatening to shoot each other. The police had to be called. This is not an experience I want for my 15 yr old daughter to witness

Avrage motel stay ,... but Noisy

Its an old motel with new paint, first room had the bathroom door broken just hunged with the upper hinge could fall any time, the room was sourrounded by other construction workere from both sides , they had there utility truckes parked next to each others and the room was right at the center, si i asked for another room at the other side of the bulding. Room is an avreage motel room the only thing made my stay not comfortable the conectting doors on both sides of the room had no insulation or sound muffing, so on one side i had to listen to that room TV show and smell the micowave TV dinner getting cooked, on the othe side had to hear an old leady coughing all night , so basically my sleep was interrupted all night long. The continental breakfast was ok ,

Dirty Room

The first room we were given did not have a working TV, the floor was not swept and had bugs crawling around, the bolt on the back of the door was broken, the sheets had holes in them, and the handles on the dresser and nightstand had stains on them. The staff was understanding and changed our room. The new room was fine except the heater was stuck on 90 degrees, so we had to get up a couple of times in the middle of the night to turn it on and off so we would not freeze or overheat. Overall, the standards of cleanliness did not match the price.

Professional, friendly with a redeeming quality

My stay started out a little rocky but Kelly the hotels manager turned what could have been an awful experience into a positive experience.

Everything seemed good. The beds felt nice but slept like they were warn down. I'm the middle of the night 3 different times the fire alarms went off. At 2 am, 3 am and 310 am. There was no reason for them going off at all and no one from the office said anything nor apologized or anything.

Breakfast could have offered more items.

Good pet friendly Hotel convenient to I-95. Perfect for quick overview stop.

The woman who checked us in and out (I jokingly asked her if she had slept because she seemed to be always there) was very pleasant. We were happy to have found a nice place after driving by the place where we originally had reservations and determining it was unacceptable.

Not staying again

No coffee at skimpy Breakfast bar Requested 1st floor room but was put on 3rd floor had to ask for assistants to get everything to the third-floor room (help was nice) and also to leave the next day. Shower extremely week and not clean.

Although the staff was very accommodating , I reserved a non smoking room. The smell was just terrible and almost unbearable. It was a very old hotel and not very clean. A revamp is sorely needed. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is very convenient and the room was very clean. Unfortunately the bed was hard and very uncomfortable making good sleep impossible.

AVOID for your safety and health

Scary, broken, dirty. Got a room with queen beds in the back of the hotel right off the bat shady people walking around smoking and3 cars with busted tires parked right there looks like people living long term. Went in the room, No bolt on the door, smelled like heavy cigarettes, the sheet on one bed large brown dirt spots you can tell it wasnt changed. Hair in the sink. I didn’t feel safe or clean there traveling with my child. Went to ask for another room. No more double rooms available they gave me a king room on the front safer side. The sheet was clean but the mattress under had 2 large stains that were visible through the sheets. No deadbolt either. Bathroom door did not close. The walls black and dirty the cigarette smoke visible and smelly everywhere, by this point we were exhausted and slept with our clothes on didn’t want to unpack anything of our clean stuff into the filthy room. Thankfully the night was quiet and safe. In the morning we booked it out of there didn’t even want to chance touching that breakfast. Both our heads felt itchy the next day too . Oh btw it was $95 for the night so not a “cheap motel” price or expectation. I want expecting high end but come on for this price, at least fix the broken bolts and put fresh sheets. Do yourself a favor and avoid this like the plague that it is.

Locals live at this hotel. Treating the grounds as their home. Full families. One of the worst I’ve stayed at.

My stay was very pleasant and the staff was wonderful. I left one night earlier because i became sick with asthma. I was not given a refund back for that night. Everyone seemed to have passed it over like I stayed there. I asked for trash bags from the time i got there, none was never given or put in the room. 5 nights.

Ok for a few days

Place is quite run down. The beds are not comfortable and they have no blankets on them. You can ask for one and you'll get something that came from the 80's. Very thin. Ceiling has water leaks showing and the bathroom door was falling apart from the hinges. Shower has almost no pressure and isn't very hot. Floor was dirty like it hadn't been mopped. The ice machine is filthy and the door to it is broken. The breakfast was ok if you want waffles. Milk looked quite sketchy. Everyone was so polite and the housekeepers were very comsiderate. It isn't the best but im sure it isn't the worst, either.

The room was clean and did not smell of smoke. Check-in and check-out was easy. The hotel is conveniently located close to I-95.

Scratchy sheets

Clean room with no carpets. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only negatives were that the water pressure in shower could have been better and room lighting could have been brighter. Friendly staff. Waffle maker!!!

Very helpful staff

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room refrigerator doesn’t have a freezer. They put my freezer packs in a freezer in the office so they would be ready for my travel today.

Nice stay

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Overall, my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. However, it would be nice if these third party sites would inform of a deposit when youre within a certain distance from home. We just wanted a nice night away from the kids, but were unaware of the deposit.

Desk lady that checked us in was so pleasant and she greeted us early morning with a smile too.

Was a horrible night! The toilet was not working-when we told the front they handed us a plunger-seriously! Then their were people yelling and partying until 2am outside of rooms until another guest told them to shut up—where was the management??

Convenient for a nightas im traveling south. Comfortable bed and very clean.

First night air was not working, extremely hot. Was given a different room for 2nd night (much better). However saw a roach. Overall it was okay and I would definitely book it again

There was a spider in the room and I got bit. That made me very unhappy. At breakfast, at 8:40 am, they had run out of most things. The service at the front desk and at breakfast was fantastic though.

It's a great stay for the price

First off, it's not high end. But if you need a night while traveling, it will be hard to do better. The night staff is great. Patient. Friendly. Kind. Rooms are clean. Bed is comfy. TV works. Wifi is strong. I've stayed at a few other Baymonts, and this is the best buy far.

Wonderful stay. The front desk associate at check-in was outstanding, treated us like we were checking into the Ritz. The room was extremely clean. This is safe area of hotels and shopping/dining. We didn’t have breakfast but noticed the area was very clean and offered the standard breakfast basics: waffle maker, breads and muffins, cereals, and fruit. My expectations for budget motels are usually low, but this was a truly fantastic stay.

Just ok

The bed was as hard as a brick, not comfortable at all. It was clean the breakfast was awful.

Difficult to find the location. Signage lacking until you get right on top of the location.

It was nice and clean, staff was very nice. But there are couple notes. 1. The one of the beds was producing horrible sound when my husband just moved, so it made us to wake up each time. 2. There were no blankets. It was pretty cold with conditioner working and hot when you make conditioner a bit up. If those are fixed it would be great

It is a cheap hotel that is consistently above average.

Blood stains and dirty sheet and floor cover in dirt. Main office informed and a dust pan was given. Extremely over priced and disgusting.

Property was fine. Clean, reasonably updated, convenient to I-95 and the Smithfield Outlets area. Right next store to a Texas Steak House and a Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as other dining and shopping choices. This was an overnight stay on my was down the east coast from CT to FL. The only negative I have to report is that the internet Wifi speed was exceedingly slow. Other than that, the place was fine.

Adequate

The key to this motel is that it was "cheap". The rooms are old and not in the best shape. The bathroom was adequate, but the sink constantly leaked.

Absolutely disgusting, cockroaches!!!

This was the most disgusting room I've ever seen. First off, it was cold outside and they had us talking too them thru a window instead of letting us into the lobby. The door was hard to open with the swipe card, once inside we noticed that the door looked beaten, it had no locks to it. The bathroom door knob was about to fall off, no blankets were available only the sheet on the bed. The room had a nasty, dirty floor. You could tell it wasnt cleaned well, in the corners of the room their was cobwebs and dirt. Then I noticed cockroaches on the floor!! After having my 2yr old on the bed I moved it and saw a bunch more crawl around. Needless to saw I went back to the window and told them I found cockroaches and they didn't even seem surprised, they wanted to move me to another room. No thank you!! We left and found another hotel. This review has a place to add pictures but it's not working or I would most definitely leave some.

It was easy to find, and the room is nice.

The room was not clean, the bed was hard the bed had blood on the end of the comforter, and there was a toe nail under my husband pillow. When I got there at almost 4 to check in there was as no room but the handy-cap room because they were not clean. I wish I would have spend my money else where . The fridge was not working. Was really looking forward to staying away in a hotel for the first time with my husband and it was not at all what we hoped.

Cats hanging out by our door, needs loads of maintenance, esp. outside. Staff friendly and helpful. People/kids running down the halls above us. Lots of noise. P

Very dissapointed, property needs alot of TLC. Had to change rooms because of stale smoke and bedspread full of cigarette burns. Other room no coffee, one glass, no shampoo etc… broken glass on porch, terrible.

It was an overnight stay on a road trip the room smelled bad the towels were dingy and smelled thank God I had beach towels with me. The light in the shower is very dim room 119. I’ll never use the Hotel again

We found a roach and the towels where dirty just stood for overnight pay the extra and stay at the sleep inn right around the corner.

The location, very close to I 95 and the staff were super friendly.

Hotel has long term residents. The property needs severe TLC. Our non smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. Bathroom door handle is broken and does not latch. One side of curtain pull is broken. In our group (8) some room phones are non functioning. Front desk staff was exceptional and friendly.

Everyone that works here is very friendly and willing to accommodate the customer the best they can. All the lights worked and the towels and sheets were very clean. Breakfast exceeded expectations. The main problem is that our room (105) needs complete remodeling. The caulk between the tiles and along the walls in the bathroom was black, cracked or missing. There was a rusty bracket in the bathroom. The TV had a poor picture, the phone didn't work, Wi-Fi was poor, and there were cigarette butts all along the sidewalk in front of the rooms. This could be a nice place to stay if a lot of TLC was performed.

Very nice for the price. Conveniently located just off I95 and within walking distance to nearby restaurant. Short drive to other dining and outlet shopping. Would stay there again!

NC trip

We were only there one night but it was nice with comfortable beds. The bathroom could use updating. My towel had someone’s hair on it. I booked for 4 guests. They only had 2 towels in room. Overall the room was good.

Basic hotel needing some TLC.

My check in was easy, since, I’d prepaid. However, my basic room had a strong stale cigarette smell. The hotel is “ no” smoking, but, sometimes you need to toss everything. The desk clerk came to my room, took one sniff, and, changed me to another room. Thankfully.

Really hospitable check in. Very accomodating. Nice room.
