Awesome room with 3 beds .

Really liked the three bed option.

Not great over priced!

We arrived early and planned on checking our bags till the room was ready. They do not have a bag check. Said we could just leave are bags in the lobby. I don’t think so. I had to end up paying $25.00 to get in the room early because we did not want to sit in the lobby for three hours. Then they asked for that in cash, which I thought was odd. Outside of hotel was run down. Inside was newer remodeled but not upkept the best. We had all had to use the bathroom as we had been in the car/uber since we left port in Galveston and there bathrooms were closed off and out of order. Had to walk all the way across the street to Walmart. Really don’t know how they can have a business without working toilets. Also no elevators. Only two floors but when your mom has a two bad hips it makes it difficult and six people with all two bags of luggage each was not fun. Room had a kitchen but nothing to cook or eat off of. What is the point of a kitchen then. Only positive is beds were comfortable and room was large. Area around not great. Hotel had bullet proof glass. Would not stay again.

Affordable clean room for a overnight trip

This property was a motel. Parking lot was well lit and clean. The property is close to the freeway and near a Walmart and Sam's club and not far from a mall and Hobby airport. The room was clean with no bugs inside or in the walkways. Only problem was the bed in the accessible room was not an accessible height and a wheelchair user needs to be able to transfer safely into the bed. The bathroom height of sink , toilet and tub was at an accessible height however there should be a grab bar outside the tub and grab bars on both sides of the tub. This problem is not at this property but too many to count as I travel throughout the United States and find that the hotel and motel industry needs to up their game by not just getting by when it comes to their accessible rooms.

Not the best area but the property was clean. An elevator would be nice for the 2nd floor when lugging up and down the stairs with luggage.

The room had stains on the floor that looked like blood stains. So we had to leave right after checking in due to family emergency back home. I was told no to a refund because I signed the paperwork

Good stay at this property. Room was clean and was renovated. Beds were comfortable. Close to walmart and fast food options near by.

I used to stay here a lot but it has went down hill the shower heads are dirty so the water can barely comes out the rooms just seemed like they were not as clean the washer does not work and there were roaches in the room i let the lady at the front desk know that i saw them she told me they dont have bugs i showed her the picture i took and she told me she would change the room in the morning i disagreed and asked for a refund so she said she would call the manager and let me know what he says she called and told me that she can not give me a refund because i booked with Expedia and i could change my room so i did an hour later i saw another 1 in that room

Poor room condition. Cold breakfast.

The microwave didn’t work. Only one very small bar of soap for 2 guests. Cockroaches inside the room. Eggs at breakfast were cold and sausage was just room temperature. Didn’t look like it was cooked enough. Room on line advertised to have grab bars in tub but none were there.

Bed experience overall. Had a reservation for three nights but did not stay, only one night and was not able to sleep due to all the loud steps upstairs, found a big roach in the morning. Went to speak to clerk asked if I can get a refund he responded they had just fumigated the place!!!! He was a bit reluctant but then agreed to give my refund.

Staying at the Baymont has been one of the cleanest, nicest, and most comfortable hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The room was spotless—no bugs, a clean tub, and even the corners were pristine. Both the microwave and refrigerator were clean and fully functional. There were plenty of towels, and the huge bed, combined with an air conditioner so cold I eventually had to switch to heat, made the stay even better. The hotel staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, and the parking area was well-lit. Conveniently located, this hotel is close to shopping, gas stations, restaurants, and anything else you might need. Best of all, despite being on a busy street, it was remarkably quiet. If I could have stayed longer I would have. I highly reccommend.

From the minute I walked into the lobby I felt welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I hope we have a reason to stay here again.

Very quiet

This property was very unprofessionally managed by people that should not be in the hospitality business and have no idea of what a hotel should provide in this country. Everyday I had to fight for additional towels and go to two or three different people to get the towels. Then they would take away the extra towels everyday when they cleaned our room. Everyday I had to come back to a sweltering hot room because they would turn off our air conditioning when they clean the room... Everyday. The staff was difficult and unhelpful and I noticed them arguing with patrons on several occasions. Our first room had several large bugs and they offered to spray for the bugs while we were still in the room. We asked for a different room and they did appease us on that note. Our second room was bigger and nicer and cleaner than the first. Regardless of the price, you should not stay at this hotel and you should find one with much higher ratings.

The place was pretty clean. No ice on days nearly 100 degrees. Comfortable beds. At check in a woman was yelling at the man who was trying to check me in (not in English). Only two towels for a double queen room. Not a warm and friendly place. Nice fridge in the room.

This is a nice clean safe place with a super great bed. Walking distance from Walmart and Ross. Fantastic check in experience by the manager of the facility. Would stay here again the next time.

Never again!

First of all its a motel. As soon as we walked in the room and looked around, it didnt smell clean, the bathroom had a bug on the floor that ants were eating. An ant somehow ended up on my leg when I sat on the bed. There was someones flossing pic on the floor and the corners were filthy. It probably hadnt been swept in a long time. There was a small spider on the mattress. I went to get some lysol to clean but thats not our job. So we checked out. I was told to call the manager the next day. Someone else answered and told us we could not get any money back. I called the third party booking and they tried calling the manager. Denied refund. I called the manager again the next day. He said he could give me back part of one nights stay (20% of the total paid) since the booking agent got their commission already. I was dealing with this for the next week after I came back. And I was there as an MD Anderson patient.

We ordered a room with 2 queen beds and got one king instead and they were unable to give us the room we reserved.

Terrible hotel.

Not the cleanest

The staff was kind but the room was not as clean as expected. Towels were stained, bed sheet was stained and discolored. The room itself was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Our side mirror was missing from our vehicle. When we came out of the room. We brought the complaint to the person at the desk who kept claiming manager was too busy to look at the cameras. I doubt the cameras even work. You get what you pay for.

There was absolutely nothing good about this stay. I felt unsafe and was afraid to park my car in the lot. I have stayed at Wyndhams in the past several times and this one did not have the look or feel of others. The breakfast was not edible and when I asked about what was available he put out some scrambled eggs and frozen biscuits. There was nothing edible except cold cereal and yogurt. The instant coffee was disgusting. The coffee in the room was much better. The kitchenette did not have any pans, dishes, or even silverware to do your own cooking. You had to bring down your own dirty towels to get replaced with clean ones. There is no elevator so luggage was no fun getting up the stairs. In addition it was very painful as I have a knee injury. When i mentioned at the conclusion of my stay that this is not what i expected out of a wyndham, the man at the front desk told me that the hotel was filled up with displaced and homeless people due to the floods. For that reason alone i would never of booked or stayed here. Never will stay here again and you shouldnt either.

Stay at this property every year always very welcoming, clean and tidy. Can’t fault them.

My check in time was 2pm. I arrived around 4 and went to my room. The floor was so wet from just being moped that I slipped and fell- lower back and ankle is starting to hurt. I tried getting a refund and was told I’d have to speak to the manager on Monday- which is a holiday.

We had the triple queen room. The beds were very comfortable! There was plenty of space for us to spread out. It was in a quiet area. The carpet was plush & the room felt newly remodeled. The manager & staff clearly take pride in providing excellent service & a comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was a decent continental spread as well. It was well priced & we would stay here again.

The room was fine, but the breakfast was terrible. The sausage links were actually frozen, and there was a very limited selection.

Hotel was clean and they were helpful.

Room was basic and had a very strong chemical smell. Bedding on one of the beds was stained. Areas around the bed frame not vacuumed. Overall a decent experience as we were there for one night after spending the day at the rodeo.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were updated and clean. I'll stay there again if possible.

I will definitely book this hotel on our next visit to Houston. The street behind the hotel has restaurants and stores for shopping like Burlingtons, Marshall’s, Ross, Dollar Tree and so many more. Restaurants like Chick Fil-A, Wendy’s and more are behind the hotel and it’s all in walking distance if necessary. A plus, Walmart Super Center is directly across the street. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The lady, old man and his nephew. Our room was so comfortable and huge. It was me and my 4 children we had a room with 3 double beds. Never seen that before and we loved it. I had read previous reviews about room 206 and was hoping I wouldn’t get that room it was said it had roaches in the review. I was praying I wouldn’t get that room for the review stayed it was a 3 double bed room. Guess what, that was the room we where in. And it was the only room available. It was 12 o’clock at night when we arrived so I was like lord please don’t let this happen to us. But the room was awesome. I checked the room before we brought our things in. The beds was clean and I moved furniture around searching for roaches. We stayed for 2 nights not one roach or issue. Thank GOD they handled that problem. Now what I didn’t like is they didn’t honor my price that was reserved for the two nights because one was a weekend night (Friday) they raised the price to the weekend price. Which is ok but to 50 dollars more plus tax. Overall it’s was a wonderful stay.

Nice and convenient!

Always our place to stay when we cruise out of Galveston. Like the convivence of being close to Hobby, especially if we get in late evening, it is so nice when we have a 15 ride to hotel and don't have to worry about getting to Galveston until morning. Walmart across street, with Mcdonalds. So we grab whatever we need for the cruise (wine and soda) grab supper from WM and breakfast at McD's!!!

It has some problems!!!

Our room was ok. However, management was so limited on towels, facecloths, bath mats and bath soap, it made our stay uncomfortable. Also, their breakfast is pathetic. We only ate breakfast there once. The second and third da we went to a restaurant.

The room was really spacious I have never seen a room with 3 queen beds & I was amazed to see it not only that the room was big & very comfy & my kids & I stayed there.

Close to Hobby. Wal-Mart across the street which is convenient. This is our place of choice when we fly down for a cruise. Stay here often! :)

I liked the convenience, I did not like the fact that there was no airport shuttle available and I had to pay an extra $40 for a lyft to take me to Hobby Airport.

The room is clean, big, well equipped. The air conditioner works but makes some noises.

Statt was very professional rooms were nice could of used hangers in the room and a few more towels other than that it was a great stay.

The room itself was large and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was not a huge fan of the area it is located in, but no complaints really. Breakfast was ok.

I had some booking issues that were not the fault of the hotel. So we arrived flustered. I need to add i was traveling with my parents who are seniors and cantankerous. We got to our room we had some issue with keys and missing coffemaker. Parmitha( front desk ) was very friendly and helpful. She was able tobget our rooms squaared very quickly and was friendly the whole time. I stay jere everytime i comw to town to visit my daughter at school and i will continue to come here. I recommend it for a clean room and good price. It quiet off the beaten path..ACROSS The street is a Walmart if you forget anything.

Hospitality good, room bad...

we are on a road trip and this was our second stop. We were supposed to stay there july31-aug2, but only stay that night because it was to late to leave. When we got there, it was about 9pm, I booked thur hotel.com, and booked the wrong dates and they helped me out to fix it, so we appreciated that. The lady said the air would be off and that it would take 30min to get cool, so we put our things in the room and went to go eat. While putting our things in the room, one lil roach was on the wall, killed it, didn't think anything of it, because i know roaches exists.. But when coming into the room, we started to incounter like 10 roaches in the bathroom, not all at the same time, but everytime we went to take a bath or use the bathroom, there was 6 of us.. then when we were going to bed, they were on the wall in back of the bed. Long story short, they try to offer a new room, but my kids were over it and so was I, so we got a refund and left early in the morning. They said they have had problems with that room b4, 206, but they cleaned it up.. i think they need to tent the whole place, because there were roaches on the outside as well.. I appreciate their hospitality, but the hotel is not it.

Front desk manager was a rude and got upset with the amount of money I was paying to stay. He made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable.

The site says free late check out but the front desk person said no, plus there was very little breakfast

Great hotel for affordable rates

Nice clean hotel, room was comfortable, looked recently renovated. I loved the mini fridge, it was actually bigger than fridges at most other hotels and it actually had nice usable freezer/fridge sections with plenty of space. Breakfast was decent as well.

Nice and affordable place to stay

We got an upstairs room and the a/c was OFF. We walked in and could hardly breathe it was so hot. They could have turnednthe a/c's on knowimg they were going to rent those rooms. The bathroom in the lobby was "Out of Order." That was horrible after a long trip and a long line to check in. The stairwells were very dirty.

Property was clean and quiet. There is a Starbucks and Wal-Mart within walking distance. There were several shopping and dining options close without having to get on the HWY.

The facilities were newly remodeled and the room was well kept. The neighbors smoked out on the walkway which allowed all the passerby’s to enjoy the secondhand smoke. Other than that my week long stay was great.

I briefly stayed at this hotel with my spouse and 4 kids after flying into Houston Hobby airport. We had planned a really late arrival, and then our flight was delayed, so we arrived at the hotel around 6 am. It was conveniently located, and I really liked that our room had 3 queen beds so that we didn’t need to make-up a sofa bed. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check-out late so that we had time to nap and shower.

Excellent family stay

We had a great stay, my kids didn't want to leave, the 3 bed option room was perfect for my family of 4. The room was perfect, it smelled so clean and fresh when we arrived, Mr. Peter and staff was very nice and helpful. My stay here was excellent and will definitely come back for stay here again. The only things I would suggest would be more options at breakfast, the water pressure in shower needs to be better but to me these are minor things. Our stay was great, close to stores, restaurants and entertainment. We did not have any issues with nosie from freeway, we had good night sleep, beds were so comfortable.

Everything about the hotel was good. The only thing that I had an issue with was the beds were really high. I am 5 foot two and I could not get up into the bed. I had to get the luggage rack which was made of wood and move it next to the bed to step on to get into the bed. I wish there had been a stepstool or some thing to assist the shorter people, the continental breakfast was OK. The staff was very nice. The rooms were clean. The hotel is located near a Walmart and other shopping stores. They’re right off the freeways. We were very pleased.

I can deal with a lot of things but bed bugs are not one. I checked in late after a drive in. Hung in the room downstairs (114) for a bit before bed. Inspected the bed to find bugs crawling around. I have videos and pictures. At first the property was not going to address it. I was told their were no more rooms. At this point it was midnight. I waited for the manager and he came to "look". Attempted to get me to actually stay there. I told him no. He said he would move me to a different room so I agreed due to it being late and having an assignment in the morning. I should have left then but I'm not familiar with Houston and it was late. I had to be up in the AM. The room I switched to was dirty but the bed area was clean. The floor looked like it needed be cleaned and same with the walls. The manager and staff were helping me move my things and I was told they would send house keeping to clean the room tomorrow. They never came... The hotel traffic is a bit rough and Marijuana smoke is the smell of the air. I would not take my family here and that is for sure. I should have been offered a refund for this stay. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.
