Sorry to say I won’t come back to this property anymore. Everything in the room was outdated. The bed mattress and pillows were too old and bumpy. I couldn’t sleep all night.

The place is tired, it smelt damp when we walked in, the toilets and bathroom was dirty, there was no hot water. We didn’t even unpack we walked straight out and did not get a refund. Poor accommodation

Rooms were clean, but very old and need some updates (bathtub wouldn’t drain quickly enough before becoming ankle deep). Also, they said they served breakfast and lunch, but the kitchen was closed all week so I resorted to Dunkin every morning. The place was, however, very quiet and clean. I was also able to walk everywhere I needed to go all week, which was great!

It's worth every penny! Trust me, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of staying here

Nice for the price!

Really nice for the price. Functional and clean, but not luxurious or posh, which was fine with me. Room was huge with kitchenette. But it is hard to find good groceries on paradise island. Room was clean. I didnt use the pools so cant comment on that. 5-10 min walk to atlantis resort area. Overall i would stay again, especially for a longer term

Spacious room , kitchen nice to have . Large living room with dining table . Lovely outdoor tropical areas . In easy walking distance to Marina Village and Atlantis .

It was a good property. The AC was ice cold. The bed comfortable. The first night I had no hotcwater but the maintenance fixed it the next day. The bedroom TV was all snow but I only turned it on the last night. The place is well secure with really nice security guards. I would definitely stay here again. It's also minutes from Atlantis Casino. So very convenient. And only about 30 minutes fron the airport. So overall a Good place to book.

It is basic but I will say it offers a full apartment style living. The manager and staff were great and easy. Accommodating with holding luggage. Could spruce up the shower heads and some rust build up in areas. Not sure why people complain about the dark area. It’s very close to main streets and security 24/7. Plus, it’s paradise island, which is only resort style life and so security and safety is very strong there. Transportation in Bahamas in general isn’t fun so I walked everywhere and it is farther from downtown Nassau. But overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time and the ease of the hotel!

Very quiet and secluded area on tropical grounds with lots of foliage. However, the rooms need updating and sometimes it was hard to locate onsite staff when needed.

Spent 2 nights here with my daughter for a short staycation. The apartment was more than adequate for us, and the price was right. It was clean and quiet. However, the place is dated. The gym was "out of order", so we walked around the surrounding area. At the price we got, I would stay here again.

This is a hidden gem and my favorite place to stay on a visit.

I definitely loved the serene atmosphere and the overall environment along with the friendly staff :)

STAYED HERE TWICE! ONCE IN 09 AND AGAIN THIS MONTH! BOTH TIMES WERE GREAT! AS SOMEONE WHO GREW UP IN NASSAU BUT NOW RESIDING IN COLORADO ITS GOOD TO KNOW THERE ARE STILL HOTELS THAT TREAT THE CITIZENS OF THE BAHAMAS FAIRLY AS MOST OF THE HOTELS ON PARADISE ISLAND DONT. MY MOTHER AND DAUGHTER WERE ABLE TO VISIT ME AND SPEND THE DAY WITH ME AT THE POOL! ATLANTIS WOULD NEVER! FROM MANAGEMENT TO CLEANING STAFF EVERYONE WAS GREAT! I DEFINITELY WILL BE STAYING HERE ANYTIME I VISIT!

Great value for the money, although the site is large it did not feel overgrounded, l guess mainly because the children are still at school. There are three pools to use. Five minutes walk to Atlantis and the beach. Good easy check in security all day and night. Large apartment with dining room full kitchen and separate bathroom. At the back of the apartment is a small terrace with a table and chairs and two lounge chairs. The equipment in the kitchen is very limited if you like to cook, although there is a microwave there are no utensils to use in it. requested some but was given desert bowls. Comfy beds. The property itself is showing its age as are the public areas. Our apartment really needed a good clean outside, table and lounge chairs and terrace area. The bar and restaurant were closed for the duration of our stay which was inconvenient, we were told they only have one member of staff who can run that department and they were off. You need a car if you want to travel out to buy supplies or pay an expensive taxi over the bridge into town.

Most conveniently located

I had a good stay in a spacious appt. Overlooking garden and pool. Most conveniently located, I enjoyed walking to the beach. The staff is friendly. The pricing makes it a good deal.

In a crunch

Not my first time. I choose this location for extended stays. The staff is great. The location is awesome. The villa itself is desperately in need of an update including: furniture, paint job, kitchen appliances etc

What is unique about where I stayed is that it's a one bed room apartment with a full kitchen and not just a room.

The property was a quint little spot with big amenities. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Down to the security guard. Breakfast was so good. Thank you for making my experience a great success. I will definitely be back there.

Beautiful garden. Nice area to sit outside but flower pot was loaded with butts. Unit has seen better times. Fan in bath did not work. Shower had no pressure and was either too cold or too hot, store was closed, restaurant never open, fitness center out of order. Pillows seemed 100 years old and lumpy. Very walkable area, felt safe.

Peoples friendliness was the highlight of our vacation. The place is well located and everyone made our stay nice and pleasurable. It is an old facility though, and even though we constantly saw people working on maintenance, it definitely could use some more upgrades. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen could have been a little better equipped, but I guess not many come to the Bahamas wanting to cook 😅 We walked to Atlantis, grocery store, the beach, restaurants, pretty much everywhere we needed. The only times we needed a lift were to go to downtown and to go to the airport. Overall good value for the price.

The amount of space in the King suite was great and the private patio was nice. There were 2 pools. Security was at the front entrance. We rented a car and always found a place to park.

Friendly and quiet

Everyone was so nice. I made a mistake when I reserved the room and they took time to fix it. Very accommodating. We wanted a quiet place, not around crowds and lots of kids and this was exactly what we got. The room was HUGE.

Great location , easily accessible to local stores marina, Atlantis , beach and ferry terminal . Safe and quiet road . Great staff who were always helpful and knowledgeable . Wifi was good .

Convenient location for a walk to Cabbage Beach or Village. Room could use an update. Bed is very firm/hard. Musty smell. Why do they have "carpet"? Staff friendly and help.

This place is convenient, clean and has a very nice feel to it. It could use some furniture upgrade, and some renos. The value for the money, compared to other properties is very good. I do recommend it. Also the bed was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly too. Thank you Expedia.

10/10 I would stay here again. Hotel was walking distance from everything on paradise Island. Not to mention a short walk to the water taxi that will take you to where the cruise ships dock. There’s a market near by that has everything you need to prepare food if that’s your thing. Comfortable and cozy, we like like we were staying in a Bahamian home. The staff was so nice and super helpful.

My first time at the Bahamas and I really enjoy this hotel is so quiet and save. The Atlantis hotel and casino is close to it

The saff was super sweet and friendly. Yes the property is a bit dated but it was clean. I would definitely stay there again. I really enjoyed the stay.

We had a good time, however the rooms are very outdated and requires lots of fixing. The kitchen has very little basic kitchen things to cook/clean.

A nice location that is close to most of what Paradise Island has to offer. It's a quiet place with friendly staff and a convenient patio restaurant onsite for breakfast/lunch. The rooms could use a bit of updating/maintenance, but overall it was a great stay. I would recommend getting a 1st floor suite to enjoy the walk-out patio!

Pictures are deceiving

Hotel room condition was bad. Everything needs to be updated except the air conditioner. Staff was very helpful. Room size is good.

Fine for price point

Nice staff, dated property but this is what you expect for the cost. Mold on ceiling due to fan in bathroom not working. Awning over entry door is rusted and bent so it will collapse soon. AC thermostat not working but it was very cold so had to keep getting up to turn it off and on manually. TV only worked in 20 minute intervals, then static. Overall fine for our one night prior to Harborside check in. Just wouldn’t spend a week. Bed was comfortable.

Good service and staff very polite..

We were at a summit in Atlantis and this was an affordable alternative. We stayed 4 extra nights after the 4 days summit. We loved the space and big table on the balcony once also could get some work done

I reached out to them to make special arrangements for my wife’s birthday. No reply and I was pretty disappointed about that. Property is clean and access to Atlantis is the best reason for staying here. Breakfast was good and the drinks from the bar not bad.

The entire family loved this place. My one complaint was that the sleeper sofa was horrible. It was literally unusable so my daughter just slept on the couch. The personnel were wonderful and any requests or other needs were met promptly

We felt very safe there. They have someone monitoring the only entrance to the property. The rooms are large and include a living room, kitchen and bedroom with king size bed. Ground floor rooms have a patio with both covered and non covered seating areas. The second floor rooms have front patios. We saw two of the pools which were nice. We used the pool by the restaurant. The restaurant and store is open from 8-3. We had breakfast and lunch twice which were priced pretty reasonably (and tasty) considering prices on Paradise Island. Overall, a good place to stay although the exteriors could use a little TLC. It is an easy walk to the marina, grocery/ liquor store and Atlantis. The rooms were great and spacious. We stayed two nights about a week apart.

The property is old and run down.no dinning on site the beginning of the week 3/4 days I was there.😟I never stayed anywhere that had no ice machine.phones in the room didn’t work.and one of the two keys stopped working day 2.

We have stayed here 3 times and very friendly staff and Yulee makes a tremendous omelet! Love having the store available for some supplies like water and snacks. What I would like is to convert these shower bathtubs to showers only. This set up is very dated and there should be the opportunity to shower only without having to step into a tub especially as we are getting older.

Room was very nice for what we paid for and we enjoyed the multiple pools on the property. Easy walk to the beach and a few restaurants. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was also a cat that hung around that greeted us every morning which we enjoyed. If you want a quieter but full experience in the bahamas definitely stay here!

Overall good. Yes, property could use renovations but rooms were clean and workers were friendly and helpful. Enjoyable stay and most of all, affordable for short visit to Nassau.

This is my second time staying at bay view it’s always a pleasure. My husband and I had a great time .

This is where we stay everytime we travel to Nassua and we travel there a lot.

This place was cozy, it came with a full kitchen and living area. Overall the room was clean, had fresh sheets, smelled good and it really was great and the service was awesome. I would definitely stay here again!

Everyone was very nice. A staffer noticed I had a bad sunburn and asked one of the gardeners to cut a piece of aloe from the grounds and he left it at my doorstep to my room! The poolside breakfast was also really good. Thank you!

The property needs ALOT of renovation. The area is nice but the rooms are old and run down, furniture old and uncomfortable, bath tub shower was too low and I had to bend down to wash my hair and face. It just wasn't at all what I expected for my weekend getaway. I was very disappointed..

As many others have shared, this property needs updating. However, for the price it’s a great value. As a single traveler, I felt safe the entire time. The close proximity to Atlantis was also perfect. My room was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.

It's great that it's so close to the Atlantis Hotel and shops. You can even gamble.

I like the atomosphere of hotel, so quiet and it looks like time flows slowly. Also staff in hotel is so much supportive and kind. Thank you for great experience.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel . It’s very convenient location to the beach , restaurants and Atlantis resort . Hotel itself nice but needs a lot of improvement with the renovation, cleaning and some just services. Hopefully it will be performed by owner . Other way it’s nice quiet hotel .

The overall property was FAR nicer than I had expected. The staff were all friendly, the grounds were beautiful. Pools. Nice, simple, reasonably priced restaurant next to the pool. They offered me an early check in. (There is not a view of the harbor but the grounds are beautiful)

Very nice staff, 24/7 security. Small grocery store, dining, beach, and tours all available within walking distance. 2 very nice pools, one with small bar there.

The property far exceeded my expectations. My room far exceeded my expectations. The check in was great. The manager was kind enough to offer me an early check in. I plan to come back the next time I visit Nassau.

The place was very clean and they did good job every day . It was very quiet and felt safe. They gave us a new sofa mattress for my son even we didn’t ask and that was very thoughtful of them. The pools looked very clean and again quiet to read my book. On the down side - the mini store I never saw open. The tennis courts are in non playable shape at all. The bar from the pictures and restaurant on the property I never saw . Over all the place was very clean , pretty outdated but for the price understanding. Landscape was amazing . Staff was pretty helpful every time we ask for something.

This property is more like a small community than it is a hotel. The staff is amazing with 24 hour security. The property is very well landscaped and keep beautiful. The rooms aren't like other hotels, these are 1 bedroom apartments. The furniture is a little outdated so if you want super luxury this isnt the place. Free parking for guest. There is a onsite store with lots of water, snacks, soda, and RUM!!! My friends and family will stay here again. We have actually already booked our next stay here for July.

It's a one-star hotel. During the time I spend in the hotel, the restaurant was closed, and the fitness center is out of service. People at the front desk and security are extremely rude. They don't have any idea maybe they don't care that their business is tourism.

My 2 sisters and I stayed here, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment. We really appreciated the cleaning services that were provided each day. It was wonderful to come back from the beach everyday to clean towels! The staff members were very sweet and accommodating to us when we needed help and recommendations for food/activities for around the island. We locked ourselves out of our apartment several times and lots of grace was extended to us:) Also, the taxi services were very easy and convenient. When we needed a taxi, we informed the security staff member and they would call one of us! We loved our experience!

The toilet stayed plugged up, NO one on duty to call for issues. This was a bad deal on my part for coming here

I had an amazing stay! While the property is not brand new, the beautiful tropical grounds, and the welcoming and genuinely nice staff make every effort to provide you with the best of accommodations. The gentlemen in the office were most welcoming and gracious hosts. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Bay View Suites. I hope to see you all in May :-)

Property is very conveniently located to restaurants & shopping More cutlery, 1gal of water, small dish soap and sponge would make these units more comfortable to guests.

Location, Price and Clean - a winning combo.

A rather complicated review because some aspects were great and others not so much. Absolutely, amazing location, literally a 10 minute walk to Cabbage Beach and Atlantis resort area, and felt very safe, plus the police station about 5 minutes away. This place would have been amazing when built but a tad neglected right now BUT very clean, great staff who deal with any issues that arise. Amazing grounds with swaying palm trees, 3 pools, and a lovely little restaurant with good home-cooked food. Rooms dated but very spacious and as mentioned clean. This could be a real gem if fixed up somewhat but for the price and location, a good deal. Restaurant and store closed varying times so need to find out when open when arrive.

Needs to be updated! We were very disappointed and will not return. The staff were all very friendly, but the resort it’s self, terrible!

The property was average. It's a more older building and amenities. It needs to be renovated. However, We loved the bed and shower.

Big room suites Only 1 night we stayed it was pleasing, not a brand new amenities but it does the job - if you have an early morning flight arrival no early check in , but you can leave your luggage and check back when room is ready aside from that it was a pleasing stay

As others have said, it’s slightly dated but the room was really clean. The grounds were well kept and it was less than 10 minutes to walk to Atlantis and the beach. Hotel staff were really helpful and gave me a great tip to avoid being harassed by shady vendors at cabbage beach

I'm a big fan of this property and have been staying here for 10 years during trips to Nassau. The staff are great, the location is great, and the extra space/kitchen are wonderful. But I think downturn in tourism over the past couple of years had an impact on property maintenance - hopefully it's something that will be addressed soon now that tourism is making a comeback

Likes: We enjoyed the environment, serenity and friendliness of the staff. Suggestion: (A). Please place a lock or an inside bolt on door leading to bedroom as added security. (B) warm breakfast with a bit of vegetarian option I gave it a 3.25 rating. Overall an enjoyable stay. Thanks Expedia

I love bay view suites very nice and quiet

Room was good quality nice small sun sitting area/private patio..pool areas where good housekeeping was good Place is a little outdated but it’s like living in a older home Ice machine was not available.. really good proximity to everything around Atlantis You have to have 2$ for the toll to get across the bridge each time you enter so bring some cash for tolls👍
