Affordable, friendly staff that were very helpful, comfortable room, good location

Poor quality hotel

The photos do not show the same room, we got the room with an old bathroom, other rooms had modern bathrooms. The room above ours was having maintenance and the builders would arrive at 8am and start building work, including hammering. There was no water in the hotel rooms and the hairdryer needs replacing!!

Average hotel, room is quite small, difficult to open luggages. Sound proof is very bad, can hear the neighbouring units open and close door and even hear their tv sound from my room.

Very lovely stay for me and my partner. They allowed us to check in early which was very beneficial for us as we traveled the city.

The staff were extremely helpful. It was in easy walking and well linked to public transport.

Good solid hotel

The staff were very nice and helpful. Our A/C wasn't working when we came back for the evening one day, but soon after we called the desk, a staff came up and fixed the problem. It was just the breaker, which we didn't think to check, so if the A/C goes out check the breaker first. Also there are tasty bakeries nearby so there are plenty of options for breakfast or a light lunch. Last but not least, the subway is within a short walking distance and it is an easy location to hail a taxi if you need one.

Very good stay

Staff was super friendly and helpful when information was needed. Breakfast was excellent. Tram station (L5) was a couple of blocks away. My wife and I loved the stay.

Good location in a nice neighbourhood, walkable to most things

I was in need of a short 2 night stay at a hotel in Barcelona while visiting a friend. I was able to find the Barcelona Century which looked like a no frills, clean and well priced option. So based on a lot of other reviews I thought I would go for it. I wasn’t disappointed and this was perfect for the sort of stay I would need. There’s no additional facilities like a pool or a gym but if you need those things you would be looking at a more expensive hotel and likely for more days. The hotel was easy to find (about 9 min walk from Urgell station) pretty much in a straight line so it made it really easy. When arriving the receptionist was friendly and happy to help. Check in was quick and my room was ready upon arrival. I was staying in a single room which I was really pleasantly surprised about because the room was perfectly ample for what I needed it for and the bathroom was a good size too. The cleanliness was impressive and thorough too. The room included a fridge and safe as well as a Tv on the wall and desk area. The bed was a single, but perfectly comfortable for what I needed and the air conditioning worked really well too. The bathroom was clean and well looked after the shower was a great size and the water was hot when needed. The towel was a big bath towel too which was really good to see. The area was nice with restaurants and cafes nearby, it’s a well situated hotel and I highly recommend it!

Small rooms for two.

Hotel is conveniently located in Barcelona and at an amazing price. You can easily access it and travel to tourist points vi the metro system. We included breakfast, which was reasonable in options. The standard room provided control of the AC, good comfortable beds, and a great bathroom with enough storage. Wifi was reliable and fast. Check in was 3pm, but you can do early check in around 2pm if you call and check with them.

I was traveling with my 10 great old daughter. The front staff was wonderful and friendly. The room was very small and there were not many toiletries available. Breakfast was available for an additional cost but there were plenty of spots within walking distance to check out. 10 min walk from the train station as well

Overall, the hotel was nice but small. The lobby was small and the room was small. The high cost must have been due to location. I was a bit disappointed to see what we got with what we paid. Happy that we were walking distance to downtown though.

The hotel was fine, rooms, service, etc. But there was a very bad smell in the bathroom. We notified the problem but nothing was done. It look like that was normal.

Not great! The electrics didn't work properly and I had to hold the plugs in the wall by hand to operate them as they were so loose and faulty. As you can imagine this wasn't a great experience. Wont be visiting again.

Walking distance from many landmarks. The staff is very kind and couldn’t ask for more.

A nice budget hotel, but far away from attractions

Room shown in one of the pictures on the website, was slightly compact, with little room to manoeuvre around the bed, but served it’s purpose as somewhere cheap to rest. The room was clean and serviced daily but they did forget things like overflowing bins and towels on occasion. Room was slightly noisy but earplugs are provided on request. Reception staff always helpful and friendly. Air conditioning was great in the heat and the safe was free and easy to use as well as a fridge (stocked with a mini bar). Location was about 5-10 minutes from the nearest metro and about 20 minutes from Passeig de Gràcia where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants at a reasonable price, however it is a long walk of over an hour to the beach.

The room was smaller than expected and too noisy, so didn’t enjoy my stay much to be honest. Impossible to sleep when they start cleaning the rooms quite early in the morning. Add to that, the street noise. Front office staff was nice.

A cama não era muito confortável. Estava tendo obras no hotel e o barulho incomodou um pouco. Localização boa, café da manhã bom.

Il personale dell’hotel è stato gentilissimo, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in deposito prima di avere la camera e questo è sicuramente un’ottima cosa. Sulla pulizia devo fare un appunto, premetto che ci adattiamo a tutto senza problemi, però la stanza nonostante i letti venissero fatti tutti i giorni, era molto polverosa, pur lasciando le scarpe all’ingresso, abbiamo raccolto l’impossibile con le ciabatte. Suggerirei di mettere qualche gancio nel corridoio ad ingresso camera per poter appendere le giacche e magari la borsa, in modo da sfruttare questo spazio. Sulla colazione non posso dire nulla perché non abbiamo usufruito del servizio. Come zona è sembrata tranquilla e abbastanza comoda ai mezzi di trasporto.
