I’m glad I choose this beautiful hotel I’m very happy to stay in this hotel everything was perfect but the most shocking was the stuff from the housekeepers stuff and special the reception area I met with few stuff members there one was Kate the housekeeper and Victoria the front desk amazing kind and they were very helpful to me Thank you for everything
Couples Xmas market weekend away
Lobby and reception: The lobby is a lovely place to chill. It has a bar and restaurant round each corner also. They stored our bags as we couldn’t check in before 3 and also stored them after we checked out. Staff were all friendly and spoke very good English (thank you to them as our polish is terrible). The rooms: Clean and well decorated. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean and nice but the water pressure was a little low. Tea and coffee and some free water available as well as shower gel and conditioner. Location: There is a metro station nearby and it is a 20 min walk to old town. The hotel isn’t right in the centre but is quieter for it. The elektrownia shopping centre is right behind and has some shopping and great food options. Some bakeries and mini supermarkets nearby also. Travel: From Chopin airport we took an Uber and then a Bolt to return. Check both as prices vary. You can get to the city on the bus also.
The promised VIP treatment and goods was not offered
All was great, the only thing was breakfast...so called English breakfast table was...cold. Not nice
One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were above average. Staff were courteous and efficient.
Great stay!
Poland v Scotland football trip
2 night stay at the Barcelo. Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean and tidy. Superb facilities and within walking distance of the centre of Warsaw.
Modern quiet and great location
Excellent hotel with modern stylish decor. Comfortable beds. Great bathroom. Nice restaurant and a great location next to the new shopping centre and food hall. Metro and bus stops outside.
Business Trip
Comfortable modern hotel not far from the old town in Warsaw
Lovely hotel.
Good spot in a hotel with lots of facilities, great sky bar on 5th floor and sports bar on ground. Really nice breakfast.
Amazing hotel, staffs are just incredible. I loved my 5 night stay in this hotel. Best experience yet so far from all the hotels i've been to.
Location is pretty decent. Close to the river and a 15-20mins walk to Old Town. A bit of a walk to the station that gets you to/from the Airport. There is a bus option if you don’t mind using busses. The bar/dining area on Level 5 is great with nice views. All staff on premise were excellent and very helpful. Room was very spacious, clean and looks great. Overall, a really nice 3-night stay.
Great location
Great location next to the river, and a short walk to Old Town. Great refurbishment of an old industrial building
Great Hotel
Stayed here 9 nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel was very modern, quite and well maintained. Staff is very responsive and helpful. Right next to a very new public area with lots of restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend , close to important places
Love this hotel the style Barceló all new ,great attention .Room good space nice bed and linen ecofriendly.good breakfast
The hotel is stylish, modern and clean. The location by the river is good and made for pleasant walks along the river bank. The area is quite a commercial are - but then that is representative of Warsaw as a whole, due to the damage in the war. The hotel is located quite close to a metro station and other sightseeing locations that we unfortunately didn't have time to visit on our short stay. But we couldnt fault the hotel which was lovely.
Modern, upscale hotel with great staff.
Amazing!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, and there is so much within walking distance. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Warsaw!
Great hotel, stayed here twice now could not fault it
I liked a lot the area around the hotel
Front desk stuff not very helpful. Young man at the desk felt unfriendly and always seemed to have an attitude. No view from the room. Bed was comfortable but it was made of two single beds connected together, which seemed odd. Bathroom smelled weird. When we called to ask for help we got an attitude, someone was supposed to come to the room to help but no one came. Located in a nice area with lots of stores and restaurants.
Great location and overall a very nice hotel. However, thought the breakfast buffet was average and overpriced. No washcloths in the bathroom and glasses weren’t cleaned.
Great hotel & location
3 night stay in this modern stylish hotel. Monochrome decor fabulous lobby and rooftop bar/restaurant. Small pool to have a dip. Bed was super comfy in a bright room with enormous window. The location perfect next to large shopping complex with food hall and speciality shops. Across road from metro and 35 mins walk to Old Town. Loved it

Disappointing Check-In Experience
I recently stayed at Barceló Warsaw Powiśle and was thoroughly disappointed by a series of issues, despite being a VIP customer with Hotels.com. After a long day of travel, I was given a key card and headed to my room, only to discover that it was already occupied—with someone else's luggage inside. This shocking error led to an uncomfortable and alarming situation, raising serious concerns about privacy and security. To add to the frustration, one of the hotel’s two elevators was out of service during my stay. With only one functioning elevator, I experienced long waits and crowded rides, making it difficult to get to and from my room efficiently. This inconvenience, coupled with the initial check-in mishap, left me questioning the hotel’s overall management and commitment to guest satisfaction. While the staff did apologize and assign me a new room, the damage was done. The lack of attention to detail and basic operational failures made my stay far below expectations. I would hesitate to recommend Barceló Warsaw Powiśle, especially for those who expect a smooth, secure, and hassle-free experience.
The customer service of this property was sorely lacking. On top of that, while it was nice looking and modern in appearance, our room was poorly cleaned.
Property was very clean, in a good location, and has restaurant and bar and pool. 5 stars!
Excellent
Nice hotel near the river and walkable to Old Town
personel very poor in communication and friendliness.
Very nice property with a delicious breakfast buffet.
Beautiful, modern and clean facility in a fantastic location. Great view from the 5th floor patio !
Check inn and Bar staff
The reception and also the bar staff was very unfirendly ! I recieived a room that was occupied by a dog tha somone left in the room becuse the room was taken. The hotel is nice great loction new nice . But the staff is under any expectiaon not coustomer oriented not professional like in the 80" in Warsaw
Good Vacation
I / we had a great time staying at the Barcelo Hotel
Very nice hotel close to everything.
Fantastic hotel
It was amazing and very clean and excellent service given . The breakfast was fantastic . The roof is awesome and you can see the sunsetting with your drinks . The view has been amazing . I will definitely stay again in the same hotel next time when I am in Warsaw . I highly recommend 🤗
Great hotel very new and friendly. Super drinks in a bar
Ok
Wonderful location. Great hotel. Kind of expensive
We liked this hotel very much! Recommending to everyone!
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, and if I ever go back to Warsaw again I will definitely re book there .
Very cozy and modern interior
Everything is OK
Lovely hotel in a great location. Anyone visiting try the food hall next door!
brand new hotel with excellent location
Brand new hotel but lacks charm and room design is average (more trendy than high end). Advertised king bed was two small twins pushed together with gap in middle and two child sized sheets. Location is great right by the river walk in Warsaw next to cafes, shopping, and charming streetlife.
Excellent hotel
Great Stay
Great value, walking distance to restaurants and bars. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend
Excellent!
Stylish design and very clean rooms, with everthing necessary, super service. Very satisfied with the stay.
Price, quality, location.
Beautiful place and everything is walking distance.
Other than the cost of parking (ridiculous $$), this place is perfect! Right next to the mall, lots of food options, close enough to downtown to walk there. Breakfast was great too! Skybar was great!
New hotel; beautifully designed; great location!
Very clean and beautiful location. Centre to the square and multiple dinning options around the hotel
Warsaw is incredibly cool
Stylish hotel in excellent location. Rooms given not as described and had to be persistent to get what I booked eventually. No Netflix in any of our rooms (even technical team stumped?!?) and mini bar empty. Hanging out in the Heaven Bar more than made up for it! Extras available were nice. Bed extremely comfortable and slept well. Right next to Metro, buses, and food hall. Loved our stay in this cultural and hip city.
Good location, poor service
Good location, newly renovated hotel, clean, decent breakfast. Hotel staff, unfortunately, nothing to write home about. Lady at the desk kelp on insisting I should pay even thought booking was prepaid, took her a while to figure it out. Asked to book a taxi for the next morning to go to the airport... Came down to the foyer at the morning, no taxi... they forgot. Had to scramble last minute which created stress. No apologies, no sense that they did something wrong. I was quite surprised that such a decent hotel would have such an incompetent staff. Ig it wasn't for the staff, I would stay there again; but with this staff, I won't.
The hotel was cool and also close to the city Center.
I loved the overall design and arrangement of the room
Is a Great hotel people there amazing
Nice location by river and easyvacess to metro Modern and clean property with nice amenities.
Great hotel in part of a renovated electricity plant, which also includes high-end apartments and a beautiful high-end shopping mall (with a great Food Hall). I think this is one of Warsaw’s up and coming neighborhoods. Whole area has a very modern “loft” feeling to it; several great restaurants and cafes in this complex.
Room very spacious and clean. Staff professional. Position in the city center, 20min by walk from the old center. Front of the river and the stadium.
The worst hotel in Warsaw !
Terrible treatment of guests
The service at the reception was terrible. Check-out took 45 minutes. Huge confusion and ignorance. Complete lack of professional treatment of customers.

Barcelo Warsaw worth a visit
We had an overnight in Warsaw. We looked at many different hotels, and the Barceló seem to be the most modern and comfortable. The location was excellent, walking distance from any restaurants and the river. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms are luxurious and spacious. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy breakfast or the bar but they both looked very nice. Would highly recommend.
Site used to be an old power station and they’ve retained a lot of fittings which is cool. Food hall next door is banging.
This hotel was brand new in June 2023. It was beautiful quiet comfortable. They had a great selection for breakfast. And the shopping mall next to it is definitely worth going to look at. It was great walking down by the river at night too.
Fantastic location, easy access to public transport, nice new and modern design of rooms but very comfortable. Polite and helpful staff add to pleasant stay.
New and clean hotel. Room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. 5 min walk to the nearest metro station, or 20 min walk to the old town of Warsaw. There's also a small but modern shopping complex (Elektrownia Powisle) next to the hotel, converted from what used to be an old power station. Interesting building with shops, a food hall, and a supermarket in the basement.
Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, clean spacious rooms - highly recommend to stay here while visiting Warsaw!
109% recommend
Fantastic hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful, always had a big smile and hello when I passed by. The room and the hotel overall was spotless. So clean! I would 100% recommend and hope to return.
Great stay!
great spot good area
Very disappointing
We had to change rooms twice. First, we got the wrong one (apparently “deluxe with view” may also come without the view). Then, there was no running water in the shower and the kettle was broken. Didn’t even get any “sorry for the inconvenience” from the staff :/ The rooms are smaller than they appear on the photos.
Great stay with some minor flaws.
Lovely hotel in a perfect location right next to a shopping centre and food court. All of the staff were lovely other than one man (unfortunately didn’t get his name but he had brown hair and a face like thunder) other than him the staff were all happy to help and extremely accommodating for all needs. The bars within the hotel were expensive which we did expect but it was nice to be able to go there. Unfortunately the cleaning staff did wake us at 8am on our first morning as we forgot to put the do not disturb on (definitely didn’t think they would’ve come to clean this early) but the cleaners were great and cleaned the room giving fresh towels daily. We did have an issue with the heating system (as did other guests we came to find out) where despite having a thermostat in the room to turn up and down the temperature was actually controlled by maintenance and we found the rooms to be freezing at some points, the man on reception was great and called maintenance to turn up the heating but this would be much more efficient if the guest could choose their temperature individually like other hotels I have stayed at as it did end up getting too hot and the windows in the rooms did not open. All in all despite the minor flaws this hotel definitely has potential to be excellent and we would definitely stay there again.
