The staff were friendly and welcoming and facilities very good in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Very good nightly live entertainment added good vibes, bringing the guests together. As vegans despite advance notice and again on arrival we had to ask at every breakfast for soya yoghurts as these are not put out as choice for all residents who may prefer non dairy and again ask at every evening meal what was suitable to eat that did not contain animal products as they only had a vegetarian buffet stand however the choice was good and chefs Carlos and Juan Pablo were exceptionally helpful and after showing us round the buffet also cooked special meals for us to suit our requirements which tasted delicious. A very special thank you to these guys for being so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The spa and massage experience was amazing and a must if staying here, thank you Lisa for your beautiful welcoming smiles this just made the stay even better. Overall a lovely stay but communication needed to meet your specific needs such as double bed, sunny balcony and food specifics.

Barcelo Corralejo Bay

It was a great stay in a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was good but felt evening meals were a little bit "samey"

Check in experience was not good - we didn't receive a warm welcome. There was a safe in the bedroom but we had to pay extra to use it which we refused to do as this was not pointed out at booking or upon check in. We didn't make use of the tennis court as once again - we were told that this was an additional cost also! There was a generator outside our bedroom which made a constant noise - impacting our sleep! Overall, not a great hotel experience - we won't be rushing back!

A Mostly Older Crowd

The hotel was great and close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and the beach. The guests were mostly older couples (60+).

Hotel was beautiful and room spacious and comfortable. There are many activities and the pool area is also amazing. Breakfast is delicious and location is super handy within walking distance from the beach and main street with loads of shops and restaurants. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Fuerteventura stay

This is not a beach hotel and beach is not 30 meters away. Beach is at least 150 meters away and is not manned by the hotel. Gym is small, swimming pools are ok size and one of them was heated. It is not clear why indoor pool and saunas were chargeable. Food was great and sufficient.

Fuerteventura stay

Hotel is great, but cannot be called a beach hotel as it is more than 100 meters away from the beach and that beach is jot maintained by the hotel team. Food was good with several choices every lunch and dinner, however Internet is not working at all, not in the lobby, not in the rooms, restaurant or pool area, simply nowhere!0

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff are very good and friendly. The pool area is nice and the warm pool is a huge bonus. Unfortunately the air conditioning isn't very good and doesn't cool down below 22 degrees, which makes it a bit too warm especially at night! Also if you want to use the safe in the room you have to pay 2 euros per night extra, we though that was unnecessary and should be included as part of the room.

A nice stay ruined at the end .

It had been a nice stay, however was 10 spoilt right at the end, by some very rude male members of the pool bar staff. It had not been explained to me that the all inclusive drinks offer ends when you check out, and instead of them politely explaining this they were rude, borderline aggressive, and turned me away.

Hotel was excellent and staff very helpful. Only, albeit small, negative was the ridiculous daily extra charge made to use the in room safety deposit box. Never seen that before.

Location, staff, spa service and overall upkeep and maintenance of the room and building/grounds were greatly valued.

This hotel was great! We arrived early and our room was ready which was very helpful. The distance to the restaurants and mainstreet was great. We walked everywhere. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The inside of the hotel reminded us of a cruise ship. You'll understand if you ever stay here. We had the ocean view which was nice to wake up to.

Great hotel just needs a little TLC in places

Lovely hotel for Couples, very peaceful and overall a quality hotel. Certain areas are looking dated though. The spa has a hot/cold experience and some of the shower experiences didn’t work, rust in a lot of areas which is a shame as it brings the quality down where it shouldn’t. Overall you won’t be disappointed with this hotel. Staff are lovely and location is great. Food wise we were B&B but was excellent and prices for drinks etc as well as food was fair too. This was our 2nd time here and if I returned would book again.

Lovely hotel near the beach. Delicious food and friendly staff

When we stayed in a suite in this hotel in the past we got access to the mini bar or unlimited access to the spa. This trip was different where we got nothing and when we enquired we were told it was due to a recent policy change. As a result we would not recommend paying for a suite. Another negative for our stay was we had an insect issue in the bathroom during the stay that was sorted out very quickly, but still not great that it happened in the first place.

All over a great stay. Only a couple of little points were an issue. The air con was non existent in communal areas which made eating a not so enjoyable experience. I understand that companies are trying to reduce the use but in 30+ degree heat it’s still needed. Also has ants in the bathroom which wasn’t a huge issue really

The layout of the hotel was very good especially the attractive pool area (and providing a heated pool). The hotel provided a good selection of food at breakfast and dinner. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cockroaches in room and bad service

There were two giant cockroaches in the room on the first night. When we reported, they spray this insect spray that made the room smell like chemicals a night. The next morning, the recepty insisted that that's what happens and they'll just clean better. We deserved to be compensated and wanted to talk with the manager. Manager didn't pick up and never called back. Do not stay. Don't recommend.

Ideally located for beach or town this hotel provides excellent service. The accommodation was spotless, the rooms was well appointed and the view we had was incredible. The food selection in the main restaurant catered for every need and the snack bar at lunch was competitively priced and had a great selection. The staff were attentive and friendly and the entertainment was very good. Our room had a soft drink option mini bar which was included in our package, along with dressing gowns and slippers. All toiletries were complimentary and our huge bed was very comfortable. We had a wrap around balcony with outdoor jacuzzi which we used every morning after breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and shall be returning.

Such a relaxing time. Excellent customer service from every single member of staff we came across. Nothing too much trouble.

A modern hotel in a convenient location for access to the town of Corralejo. Greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival. Nice pool area and bar for lazy days, staff were friendly. Did not try the restaurant but the breakfast was decent, the room itself was clean and modern. Also it's an adults only hotel so a more relaxing environment if you want a quieter stay.

Excellent quality hotel

Fantastic breakfast and dinner food choices with lots of choice for Vegetarians. Deluxe rooms are modern and in great condition. Only comment on the room would be to upgrade from 32" TV's to 55" TV's. Lovely hotel and would stay again.

Fantastic hotel, lovely staff!

I stayed here for one night with a friend and we had a wonderful time! This is a perfect inclusive hotel experience - close to the urban center, but its own little oasis. Yasser at the front desk was particularly helpful to us, and the dining staff were also very kind. The pool area is lovely, and the hotel doesn't miss a detail - there was even a live violinist while I was swimming! I would highly recommend this for couples, friends, or solo travelers.

Very good hotel

Very relaxing and staff very friendly and can’t fault their efforts. Only down side was Wi-Fi in the room, which simply didn’t work. Reported it twice but not fixed. Can only assume insufficient band width to accommodate everyone. However didn’t spoil my holiday as 4g signal mange’s to run most things and Wi-Fi OK in the communal areas Would go back as very good location for getting around and evening entertainment of a high standard

The hotel claims to have heated pools but all of them were extremely cold.

We booked a sea side view room for 7 nights. The view was lovely to wake up to everyday. We had breakfast included but not dinner. There were a wide selection of fresh ingredients at breakfast. Staff attentive and fixed problems immediately. There was a small leak coming from the ceiling and someone was sent to fix it straight away. Overall it was a good place to stay. Very convenient location. Would stay again

The hotel was more than i expected. Room was very clean and quiet. The restaurant was amazing. Lots of options, and as a vegan, the staff was very understanding and helped with offering me different options. Location of the hotel is fantastic. Close to the centre and to the beach. Bicycle hire at the hotel made it very convenient. I would visit there again

I would never recommend this property for your vacation. We got all inclusive and one of their bigger rooms with jetted tub. The property is very outdated and the rooms are very old. It was our honeymoon and they were aware of that because it was in the reservation. Didn’t expect anything extra for that but never was it mentioned by them. Our room had 2 twin beds put together with separate comforters. So literally we had to sleep separately on our honeymoon. There was yellow patches/spots all over the sheets and comforter. We paid extra for the jetted tub, and we never used it. It was filthy and full of hair and pieces of dirt. The WiFi service was non existent in the room. We had to go to the lobby to use WiFi. Informed them 3 times and the first time were told they will send someone, second time the lady in the front desk said that’s how it is and they can’t do anything. The third time the guy said that he will send someone because there might be an issue with our WiFi receiver in our room. Never was the issue fixed. The all inclusive part was another issue. The pool bar would treat you absolutely different once they found out you were all inclusive. Both guys working there were very rude and would show clearly how annoyed they were by us. It was very uncomfortable to go there for lunch because they would make the experience unpleasant. So overall our honeymoon was the trip to hell.

The hotel had a very calm atmosphere, especially since it was adults only! Everything was excellent, food, rooms, facilities, staff etc..The hotel was also conveniently positioned for walking into town. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Friendly and efficient staff, lovely pool area. Works well adding orders to a running 'tab' charged to your room.

The refurbishment areas were excellent but other areas could have been updated by smaller things ie. new cushions on chairs at the pool café and better quality sun loungers. Also a more varied menu at the pool bar would be beneficial.

Fantastic hotel, clean with amazing food.

First class everything. The service, the food, the rooms. The rooms and the whole hotel was spotless. Nothing was any trouble for the staff who were also very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic with absolutely anything you wanted including Prosecco!! I will be returning very shortly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was so comfortable, and there was a lovely big deep bath and a great shower, so we loved the room. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, so much choice of beautifully prepared and presented food, well worth paying for half board. Lovely pools, the main one is over 30m long so my husband was able to enjoy plenty of swimming. We had a couple of days using the spa, and I had a lovely hot stone massage on the last day, ensuring that I was completely relaxed before returning home. I also used the treadmill in the gym, but to be honest if you like to run, the track along the beach heading south to the dunes was more enjoyable. We returned home refreshed and hoping to return one day, after our waistlines have returned to a more acceptable size!

If you’re looking for a quiet break, this is the place to be. It was very quiet, due to the season, which suited us. This adult only hotel is suitable for friends or couples. The staff were very friendly. The food was amazing. I would definitely go back.

The hotel is situated 3 minutes from the main street and approximately 90m from the sandy beach. Although close to all the amenities it is a quiet location. There are two pools and sufficient loungers for the guests, at least when I was there. There is also a spa and gym should you wish to be energetic. The staff are extremely helpful, this is my second visit and would go again.

Great location close to the beach and the bars and restaurants

Super relaxing hotel, fabulous deluxe room.

This is a little oasis of calm. Lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff. No one hassles you. Nothing is too much trouble. We loved our room with hot tub. Very short walk to a lovely little beach with great beach cafe which had live music everyday. Short walk on to the main strip and harbour. Food choice was excellent. Spa and hairdresser on site.

Disappointing

A little dated in building and organisation (signing piece of paper for wine ordered in restaurant). Food buffet style and lukewarm. Much of which was fairly tasteless. Cannot really see why it has score 4.5 on average before.

Close to facilities in quiet location.

Public ares were large and staff very friendly. The rooms were in need of modernisation as were dark corridors leading to accommodation. We had a smal terrace that did not get the sun. Beds comfortable, good air con system and good shower. Breakfast excellent and tables cleaned as soon as people left. Excellent pool area. Overall I felt it was expensive for the facilities provided.

Great hotel but not on beach

The hotel was very good. Good food though it gets repetitive after a week of the same thing. Rooms are nice. Though we had tiny baby ants in our room. Should have addressed this with the hotel staff but we didn't bother. Nice pool area. They need to heat the water though because it's frigid cold and very uncomfortable. Very reasonable drink prices. Our biggest disappointment was that the beach (access via a short walk) was an utter mess. Just an awful area. The beach at the Rui is gorgeous and much preferred and the hotel did offer a daily morning bus rides to it, which was very much appreciated and convenient. It's centrally located in Coralejo with plenty of bars and restaurants around. We would stay here again despite the little things we didn't like.

Not a 4 star hotel

The stuff are super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is ok, a bit dated and the room seems more the one of a 3 star hotel with some dated furniture. If having a standard room you have to pay extra to access the spa, which is unheard of as all the other 4 stars hotels I have been to, you had to pay extra for treatments but certainly not to use the spa facilities. Food at the restaurant was good (was on half board and preferred breakfast than dinner) but not excellent (could not eat paella and fideua, overcooked). The hotel is close to a very nice small beach and they offer a free shuttle service to the Grandes Playas, which is 5-10 min drive from the hotel. All in all a pleasant stay, but I have been to better 4 stars resorts.

Nice hotel

We had a nice stay at this hotel, to be honest we was a little bit underwhelmed especially by the breakfast, which looks lovely but lacks in certain areas. The room was clean & comfortable, the position of the hotel to local amenities is excellent.

Lovely location with great facilities

A spacious hotel with a good range of facilities and features that allow you to stay in all day and be entertained. Only slight negative was the poor evening food, but as t was only a few pounds to upgrade from B&B to half board, this is not surprising. Very friendly staff and nice clean facilities.

Pleasant with great views

As a gay couple we were not sure what to expect. Certainly there was an older clientele. But everyone made us welcome. And our room with a view of the island of Lobos was delightful. Recommended for a visit to Fuerteventura, and easy to visit Lanzarote.

Great adults only hotel

Great location, very friendly and helpful Staff. Evenings were good fun with entertainment that was better than expected. Great facilities, we opted for the larger room with jacuzzi bath on balcony and it was fabulous

Hotel is well positioned, close to shops and beach

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food was buffet style but of a high standard. Entertainment every night, however, nowhere to spend the evening if you want a quieter environment. Main lounge is drafty as automatic entry doors lead straight into the lounge area. Overall good value and close to shops, beach, bars etc.

Great Hotel ideally located.

We picked this hotel for several reasons, The highly rated reviews, being adults only and the location was our top 3 reasons. We were not disappointed on all accounts.

Relaxing trip

Lovely, relaxing trip, friendly, clean hotel and food above average. Room a bit smaller than expected, but otherwise fine. Would definitely recommend booking a room with a pool view, some of the side rooms looked a bit dark with views towards other buildings.

Great facilities - lovely atmosphere inside

We spent one night here. The Hotel service was extremely good and the hotel staff all very friendly. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived - at 2pm exactly - but we were offered a drink and did not have long to wait. The hotel has lovely gardens and a very attractive pool with cleverly located bars around. It is a 10 minute walk down to the harbour. Ideal for walking off supper. The room was spotless, roomy and comfortable with a large bathroom and bath.

Winter Break in the sun

The hotel was in a nice part of the resort, only 100 yards from a stunning beach and had everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. The food was exceptionally good and the evening meal deal they had on of 12 Euro per night if you went three nights in a row was fantastic value.

Ideally situated for town and beach, but in a quiet road. Excellent facilities, comfortable rooms, attentive multilingual staff. Will definitely return when I next come to this resort!

Wonderful hotel.

One of the best we’ve ever stayed at. Close to both shops and beautiful sandy beach. Staff were outstanding, food delicious and pianist in afternoon played wonderful modern pop songs. Will defo be back. Attached photograph is the view from our balcony.

Lovely poolside area

Very comfortable hotel that felt airy and spacious. Excellent buffet breakfast. We spent quite a bit of time round the pool and there were always sunloungers available.

Letting itself down with petty rules and charging

This is a nice hotel letting itself down with petty rules and charges which have been introduced stealthily over the years we've been coming.. You get a mini bar of some soft drinks and a couple of beers on arrival (you used to get spirits miniatures but they've stopped that) but they are not topped up and so you have to buy water after the first day to use in the coffee machine!! They also charge for ice via room service. They have turned one of their two tennis courts into a car park and leased out the remaining court so that the free tennis instruction which used to be included in the daily activities is now chargeable. There is also now a 10euro deposit for a pool towel. To ensure 'elegance' at dinner they've introduced a 'no shorts' rule which is not working as this results in people being allowed entry in track suit bottoms, ripped jeans, flip flops and football T-shirts whilst my husband wearing tailored Armani short trousers with polo shirt (designed for elegance in hot climates) was refused entry. We probably won't return to this hotel.

Great hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel. The hotel is ideally located in Corralejo, a beach is just a short walk away and the town is also a short walk away. We had lovely time at the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the facilities were clean and well looked after. The only issues I have is that the hotel did not police its own rules. Apparently sun loungers cannot be reserved, and it clearly states this and if a sun lounger hasn't had occupants on it for 120min staff will remove towels. This never happened, we saw towels on sun beds from 9am and not being used by anyone till 2pm, some guests were in town all morning then returning to the reserved sun beds. Also there were areas of the hotel where dress codes were compulsory, but again these were adhered to and staff did not enforce any of these rules. Other than that I enjoyed staying there and I would go back there, but hopefully these will be addressed then.
