Fabulous hotel

As always, a fantastic stay at Barcelo Benidorm beach. Hotel is modern and super comfortable with well-equipped rooms and a great breakfast. Staff are lovely, welcoming and hardworking. We love the location - on the front line just at the foot of the old town.

The hotel is nice and spacious but has hidden extras If you want to use the rooftop pool you can’t take your towel £20 deposit per person required to use there’s Room service very limited choices and expensive Special request placed in here an option arrive at hotel they want £78 euro for the privilege of a sea view and that was only for one night Check in took a bit longer with new Spanish rules but staff were polite Restaurant staff very flustered we were shown to table where we got drinks then when returned with our breakfast found they had been cleared away before we even had a chance to drink them Pool deck upstairs very loose tiles underneath Great view from the pool deck

Perfect stay

Hotel extremely clean, and quiet. We booked a room with a sea view and ended up with a corner room with wraparound balcony. Dont usually sit on balconies but the view was to die for. Had breakfast included which was superb. There was so much selection probably the best breakfast i have ever seen in a hotel. Will i visit again? Probably as early as April next year.

2nd time we have stayed here and it's a fantastic hotel.

Fab location, wonderful rooms, great staff. Beds are superb, showers nice & hot. Breakfast selection varied, and tasty. Would wholly recommend to all.

We stayed in a sea view room the views were amazing. The only area which let the hotel down was the food we’re not fussy but the food was sub standard. The rooftop bar was amazing but there are no toilets up there and there were a dozen or so floor tiles loose. Overall we had a great time just certain little tweaks would make the experience much better.

Daily cleaning could be improved..shower gel was empty and not replenished.. felt it was a different cleaner each day which was reflected in the standard the room was left. The service in the bar was poor with long wait for drinks and staff getting order wrong. Also had a foreign object in my cocktail.Felt staff unwelcoming.. On a positive note,the breakfast was well organised with attentive staff and good choice of breakfast.

Lovely hotel great location. Newly rebuilt so very new and fresh. Great roof top pool. Music too loud for my liking. Good breakfast bit cheap bacon and sausages.

Great location, super friendly staff and very clean. The tiles on the pool/ roof top bar area need attention as many very lose but otherwise a great hotel. The breakfast was truly amazing with a great selection, good quality and helpful staff on all areas.

Fab Hotel and Stay

Beautiful new hotel which is well positioned and has a wonderful rooftop bar and Terrace with fantastic views. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice . Cannot fault anything and will definitely be back.

Fantastic breakfast, polite & tentative staff, clean and fresh looking, right on the beach. Level 8 roof terrace comfortable, didnt use the pool. Difnt like the unreliability of the elevators.

Second time staying at this hotel, it’s in a great position on front with modern decoration and roof top pool area. Close to old town but also good to walk length of beach front.

Good rooms, excellent choice for breakfast, great staff, right on the beach. The only real complaint would be that the lifts seemed to have a mind of their own at times.

Birthday with friends

Staff were all so pleasant with every request. Great rooftop bar area with small pool which was great to take a dip and cool off. Food was also very good though it did get quite busy at breakfast time probably because the breakfast was so good. Have booked again to come back in a few months.

I booked a three nights from 23 - 26 August 2024 for my husbands' birthday. I booked a Superior Room with a Sea View and it was worth every penny. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop pool and bar were amazing and great for those people who don't do the beach. No issues getting a sunbed on the roof either. Based right at the start of the Old Town, there are plenty of options for food and things to do at night. Would definitely book again if going back to Benidorm.

The best in town

So-so

Es de lo mejorcito que encuentras frente a la playa. Los pasillos de habitaciones siempre tienen instrumentos de limpieza regados donde quiera. Las habitaciones son pequeñas. No había nada más que una sábana para taparse en la noche en la habitación. Tienen un sistema rarísimo para las toallas de piscina con dos tarjeticas. En vez de ponerlas en la habitación. El desayuno estaba bien. El servicio de bar restaurant de la terraza es lento.

This hotel in our opinion needs to retrain its cleaning staff, as the towels in our room smelt of other peoples body Oder on at least two occasions. The stairway was not cleaned at all for the seven days we stayed.

The hotel and staff are amazing. Location right across from the beach is superb. Our only complaint is the pricing of drinks at the rooftop bar. 18.00 euros for beefeater gin and 6 for tonic is definitely over the top. Some instruction for possible parking before arriving would also be helpful.

The hotel was in a perfect location, right on the beach and with a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Hotel staff extremely helpful, and made you feel very welcome. Breakfast had everything you could want and the roof top pool bar was a highlight, great place to relax. definitely would recommend!

Hotel is OK but not great. Rooftop bar and pool was disappointing, the pool is tiny.

Barceló - wonderful hotel

Hotel location is superb, on the front and quick access to beach and old town. The bed was really comfortable. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was great too, with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and very helpful. For the price, it was above my expectations and we would definitely stay again.

Brilliant stay

Brilliant hotel. Great rooms and amazing bed! Only downside was the room I was in was opposite a school so noisey in the morning during the week. Cleaner also didn’t replace tea / coffee / milk but apart from that had an amazing time!

Couple stay in Benidorm

First time in Benidorm and happy we went with this hotel. Great location. Nice and clean. Seaview room was wonderful. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of options. 100% would recommend.

Recently opened in a fantastic location. Go for a sea facing room which do cost a little bit more but are well worth it. Super roof top small pool and bar area with lots of seats and deck chairs. Whole hotel is highly recommend

Cons : we were given a double room at the back of the hotel overlooking roadworks and school . I enquired at check in whether we had a balcony and was assured that we did . When we got to the room there was only a tiny Juliette balcony so unable to sit out Room was comfortable and clean . Whilst there was a car park in the basement this was not offered so we parked at Bingo plaza 7 minutes walk away Overall a beautiful hotel and facilities but beware the double rooms at the back of the hotel

Pros : lovely hotel with amazing roof terrace and pool . Great gym with water , towels and apples. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Cons : we were given a double room at the back of the hotel overlooking roadworks and school . I enquired at check in whether we had a balcony and was assured that we did . We were also offered upgrades . Side room €37 a day or room with sea view €73 a day . We had already paid over €120 a day so thought this was too expensive. When we got to the room there was only a tiny Juliette balcony so unable to sit out Room was comfortable and clean . We reported a loose toilet and problems with tv via the app but no one came to sort out Overall a beautiful hotel and facilities but beware the double rooms at the back of the hotel

Lovely hotel, good food

The guy at reception at check in was very rude. I advised him that we had requested single beds and he became quite aggressive insisting that i hadn't, even though i could clearly see this on my booking. He was no help whatsoever and i had to sort this myself. He could have simply said that the beds were two singles pushed together and they would sort fresh bedding but he didn't.

Hotel on the Old Town end of the beach.

We clean stayed at the hotel for three days in May and found it to be very comfortable and also very clean which was handy as it rained every day that we stayed there. The hotel location could not be better as it is on the front line at the Old Town end of the beach. The room did have a balcony that you can only stand on as it was too small for a chair. Breakfast was self service and had everything that you could wand. Highly recommended.

Fab location

Really nice hotel, right on the beech, near all the local bars and restaurants, very clean and tidy, staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and well equipped, breakfast was fantastic! Couldn’t fault it at all, nice roof terrace with a bar, very buzzing , only fault was we got a room at the rear of the hotel which backs onto a school and playground, so if you want a lie in , ask for a room nearer the front as they seem to arrive in the playground about 8 ish and there not quite ! Overall really impressed

Fantastic location opposite a beautiful beach. Old town of Benidorm just a 5 minute walk. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel lovely.

Hard to get to but great once you’re there. GPS got confused as we got close and it requires driving down streets and the boardwalk that appear to be pedestrian only. Smith check in, room was ready hours early, VERY nice staff. Breakfast Buffett was 5 star. Room was very clean, no maintenance issues in room or common areas. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Most memorable aspects were the location (it really is just right on the beach & at the old town), the comfort (superking bed was sooo comfy), breakfast (fab) & general vibe of the hotel which just smelled expensive 😂 poor weather meant we didn’t get much use of the rooftop area but the afternoon we did spend there was great - beach club vibes with amazing views. I’d definitely stay again. Only 1 point of disappointment was we had a room to the very rear of the hotel which overlooked a school. Had we known there was no real view (or about the early morning (understandable) noise) we probably would have upgraded, but weren’t given the option. A fab hotel nonetheless.
