Amazing

The main problem was the location and lack of convenient transpiration.

The hotel is wonderful but there is no heat in the lobby also very far from downtown

Beautiful hotel, Location is about 20 min taxi drive to Bund (about 7.00 USD) Breakfast very poor compare to other hotels and for that level of accommodations.

the beds and pillows were always great. in room water filter was helpful.the buffet breakfast was excellent.the staff was always very helpful calling taxis and guidance with directions

Perfect location for visiting Fudan University

We picked this hotel because we wanted to be close a Fudan University as we were visiting there. It is a very good location for that, being 10 minutes walk from the accommodation blocks, and 20 minutes from the main campus. The hotel itself is located close to a main highway, so taxis are easy to pick up, and Jiangwan Town Metro station on Line 3 is about 10 minutes walk - from here it's about 30 - 40 minutes to downtown Shanghai (with couple of changes). We had a standard double room - it was well-appointed - very large and comfortable bed, bathroom with bath and separate (and powerful) walk-in shower, filtered water-tap for drinking water, room safe, fridge/mini-bar, wi-fi. Daily housekeeping was very flexible depending on when we wanted to leave room each day, and once when we had issue with toilet not flushing properly, it was fixed very quickly. The decor in the room was getting a bit tired - some of wallpaper was starting to peel a little, but this was cosmetic. Our party had 2 rooms, and one did pick up quite a lot of noise from the highway outside. I used the gym regularly - it was well-equipped - cardio, resistance machines, free weights, all in good working order, and separate work-out area. For swimming pool, you have to wear a cap. Hotel is not city centre location, and is not near famous sites (other than Fudan) but that wasn't what we wanted. We only used restaurant once for breakfast - mix of Chinese cuisine, and Chinese-style Western.

The staffs are very rude and unwilling to help

The staffs are rude and very unhelpful. We need to register a local phone to receive a password in order to activate the internet access. But the staff especially the manager was not willing to help and ask me to get a local pre-paid card.

The hotel was clean and nice, and the staff were great...but the internet was a hot mess. I do understand China can have connectivity issues, but I've traveled extensively for business here and never run into anything this bad in a major city. The speed was pretty close to dial-up, and every now and then the connection would go down without warning. I had to wait minutes for websites to load, and then sometimes the connection would drop. On Saturday, I was simply told "the Internet is not working any more." As someone who works online, it was frustrating. Definitely not the best hotel choice if you are a business traveler dependent on wifi. If you don't care about wifi, though, the hotel is very pleasant and the staff are lovely.

Hotel room is little old,customer service staff is friendly, buffet breakfast restaurant clean and food have so many choice. If you choice this hotel ,you may feel some smoke by illegal smoker in hotel.

It was good.

It was good. Needed a day to get away and just relax. I enjoyed my day there. Great gym!

Good location but can be duped

Hotel nicely furnished, good buffet spread. Room service at snail pace, standard waiting time 40 mins !!! My second visit, I booked Deluxe but they gave me superior room (cheaper and smaller than Deluxe), the answer was that room prices have gone up !!!! Wanted to cancel booking, but internet booking cancellation is a lot tedious that I imagined.

Fantastic hotel

Good 20 minutes drive to nanjing street and 15 min walk to metro station.

Enjoyable stay in reasonably priced Shanghai Hotel

Very enjoyable stay, staff very helpful and quick to assist when I complained that I was smelling cigarette smoke in my room. Good choice at breakfast Buffett but the best is afternoon tea in the lounge area. You realise what a great idea it is to ban smoking in public areas, China might have to try it out ! Fun and friendly pianist and singer duo playing the lounge area several evenings.

Ok, but not as smart as it used to be.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Grand Mercure Baolong, and I found it to be less enjoyable than before. Having booked the same standard of room on the same floor as last time, also for 10 days. I was disappointed that the decor was shabby: the carpet was old and stained and the wallpaper also looked damp, the wood furniture was all chipped and scuffed and the bathroom tiles were poorly painted over. They were also unable to honour my booking of a double bed, requiring me to put up with 2 single, but comfortable, beds. The staff do not seem to have any English or other languages and the only the one concierge with some skill in English was in very high demand. The staff were surly and unwilling to be particularly helpful, the only relief being the one friendly person in the shop, who also didn't speak any English. The lobby lounge insists that even resident hotel guests order over-priced drinks, even if guests are merely waiting to be collected -the lobby has very few waiting-seats for such a large hotel. The road noise on the Yixian Elevated Road side of the hotel is quite noticeable and doesn't abate much at night, and rooms on the other side suffer from a loud half-hour reveille from the army barracks at 07:30 every morning, about which guests are not warned.

The Baolong

Our stay in the Baolong was ordinary , nothing over the top , no staff went out of their way to impress us . The neighborhood was not bad , not too far from subway , generally friendly .

I recommended my friends to go to this hotel. It has very good service and this hotel is close to everything.

Max. Comfort. A little far from the Bund.

It is a little north and no subways close to that area, but the rooms were what you expect a 5 star hotel to be. The building is a little old but worth the price you pay. The restroom/ shower is perfect. And the bed makes you turn off the alarm and take another hour of sleep.

It's OK, but...

In general, I'm happy and satisfied with my choice. Room was clean and well-furnished. There are a plenty of pillows, perfect bed, flexible AC, nice bathroom with a bathrobes, more-than-enough towels and many accessories. Water pool and GYM are good and well-equipped. Breakfast was OK with little Chinese accent, but acceptable. Hotel is not too far from metro and stay close to bus station with a lot of buses, going everywhere even after midnight (you know, metro is being closed in Shanghai after 10pm). The only PROBLEM was privacy. Even if you place "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door the cleaning-girls will try to make-up your room, calling via phone and knocking your door. It's amazing and unacceptaple. I want to sleep, and "not to sleep" and I don't want to be dirturbed by service.

房間設備較舊，但整體整潔員工服務可以，交通比較不便，附近購物一般生活上需還好。

房间设施和广告照片相符。除了房间地毯和走廊地毯老旧外，其他都符合我的预期。总体按照性价比来说，这是一个不错的酒店。

Perfect experience

We were there with colleagues for a Conference held in the same hotel. It was perfect. The spaces are huge and the staff is very kind. Price is really affordable.

4泊5日させて頂きました。キングサイズベッド1台の30平米の部屋に泊まりました。 思ってたより部屋は広く開放感あり、広くてゆったりできる椅子、デスクなどありました。7階だったので眺望もよく、道路に近いですがそこまで音は気になりませんでした。 移動手段はタクシーだったので、電車は一切利用しませんでした。最寄り駅からは恐らく歩いて行けるかと思いますが、上海はタクシーも比較的安いので、交通手段はタクシーがオススメです。 部屋の防音もしっかりしてたので隣の部屋の音は全く気になりませんでした。しかし、朝に廊下の掃除の音、他宿泊者の声が玄関から少し聞こえました。早起きしてモーニング行くのがオススメです。 冷蔵庫や全身鏡、クローゼット、テレビ、ルームシューズ、バスローブも部屋にあります。バスローブでいいのであればパジャマをわざわざ持っていく必要はありません。 お風呂はカーテンで仕切れるバスタブ、向かい側にガラスドアで水が撥ねないよう設計された個室シャワールームがありました。 私はシャワールームしか利用してませんが、バスタブ利用の場合お湯が溢れて床がびちゃびちゃになる可能性があると思います。 また、寝室とお風呂の間の壁がガラス張りになっており、丸見えになってしまい少しプライバシーが…と思いましたが、寝室側からちゃんとロールカーテンで仕切ることができたので一安心です。 洗面所はアメリカンセパレートになっており、大きめの洗面台、隣にトイレがありました。トイレも清潔でよかったです。 アメニティは飲料水2本、シャンプー、リンス、ボディソープやハンドソープ等がありました。コップは置いてあります。歯ブラシ(歯磨き粉付き)はフロントでチェックインの際に貰えました。アメニティが足りなくなったらフロントに電話すれば気軽に貰えます。シャンプー、リンスは日本で使っている物を持って行ったので髪質に合うかは分かりません。気になるようでしたらホテルのものは使わず持参がいいと思います。 ベッドメイキングも毎日してくれたのでとても気持ちよく過ごすことが出来ました。また、有料ですがクリーニングサービスもありますので、旅行から帰ったあとも自宅で洗濯する手間が省けました。 窓の遮光カーテンがしっかりした生地で、朝でも気づかないくらい真っ暗でした。 ジムや屋内プールもあるみたいですが、時間が足りなく利用出来なかったので、また今度利用したいと思います。 上海の中心部からもアクセス抜群で遊びにたくさん行ける立地なので、オススメです。 タクシー移動がメインだったのでホテル周辺で歩いて行ける飲食店は利用しませんでした。ホテルの最寄り駅付近に飲食店がたくさん並んでいるイメージでした。 フロントの方も対応も良く、ロビーがとても広くて開放感もあり、部屋も綺麗なので申し分ない素敵なホテルでした！もっとたくさんホテルで時間過ごしたかったです。 とても気持ち良く過ごせました。良き上海旅行でした。またご利用したいと思います。

部屋が裏側に面し、室外機の音が聞こえて、安眠を妨げるので、クレームを入れて 表向きの部屋に変更してもらいました！ 部屋はツインでバスタブ付だがお湯が溜める詮が分からない！

能保持水準，但沒送早餐，設備也看得出有點舊，總體是滿意的

地下鉄の駅まで１キロぐらいです。タクシーが安いので移動には不便は感じない。部屋はダブルベット、ソハー、机、シャワー バスタブ別 トイレに洗面台 アミニティも一通りあります。

ホテルの客室は清潔に保たれており、広さも十分にある。また、ライトはセンスがいいものを使っている。また、好みに応じて調節できるよう工夫がされているのがいい。朝、新聞を持ってきてくれるのも良かった。フロントなどで英語が通じスタッフの対応も良かった。ただ、インターネットの無線ランは無料ではあるがもう少しスピードがほしい。　　ホテルから一番近い駅のJiangwan Townまでは歩いて15分程度かかるが、具が様々な肉まんや各種の鳥焼き、ホー、エビ料理、火鍋の専門店、中国スイーツのお店、目の前で焼いてくれる中国風クレープのお店等々、小さなお店がたくさん軒を連ねており、見ているだけでも飽きない。朝、通勤される方が人気店には列をなしていた。お勧めは「？歌串舞老成都串串」の火鍋、中国風クレープ。

ホテルは綺麗です。浦東空港から遠いのが難点。中国国内移動を宿泊後にするなら、虹橋空港をお勧めします。

部屋も広く清潔で一人から家族連れまで問題なく利用できる。Wi-Fiも各部屋で使えるが、やや電波の弱いのが難（泊まった部屋以外については分からない）

不便な場所なのでタクシーを使うべきです。ホテルも古さを感じさせますが、ハウスキーピングがまめにご用聞きに来るなど、中国では珍しく気遣いを感じさせます。費用の割には快適に過ごせるホテルだと思います。

Meget godt fornøyd med hotellet.Rent og hyggelig. Vi deltok på en konferanse som ble holdt på dette hotellet og det gjorde det spesielt enkelt. En stor fordel for oss som ikke er kjent at man kunne velge mellom flere spisesteder på hotellet.Det var litt vanskelig å kommunisere med personalet siden de ikke kunne engelsk.Ellers hadde det vært lurt med et kart som viste hotellet i forhold til severdigheter og i tillegg opplysninger om hvordan vi kom oss til hurtigtoget til flyplassen.

立地条件以外、ゆったりとした申し分のないホテル

フロントの従業員は皆英語が話せ、接客も丁寧でした。広くて清潔感のあるロビーと、広くて快適な部屋は非常に好印象です。両替の機械も設置しており現地通貨が簡単に得られるのもポイントが高いです。レストランの朝食も満足の行く味でした。ただ、周辺にこれといった観光スポットが無いのが残念。地下鉄の駅からも道は一本まっすぐ行くだけですが、１０分程かかり、スーツケースをひきながらだと少し大変でした。でも、全体的には満足の行くホテルでした。

Arnaqueurs piègent les touristes à la porte

Hotel très propre et confortable. Bonne qualité prix. Déception, pas d’accès sans file au lobby. Cependant, des arnaqueurs tendent des pièges aux touristes pour extorsion d'argent . Ne pas faire confiance en aucun cas.
