Please stay away from this place. It is a complete scam. In reality, it does not look at all like the photos. - When we reached the so-called “villa”, the place was dirty and disgusting o It had not been cleaned absolutely at all o The kitchen was filthy and decaying, with rot and grime on the walls, where the paint was peeling o The fridge was empty, not even water. It also was frozen solid o In the “bedroom”, the bed had a frame for a canopy but the canopy itself was missing o An ancient aircon unit was barely furnishing AC within a meter distance, and this miserable dirty bedroom is large o The other aircon unit wasn’t working. When we requested that it be fixed, it started dripping water, it hadn’t been cleaned in God knows how long o There were cables from the tv and various other electrical appliances all over the room o We asked the lady from the reception to move us right away. Cannot, fully booked. Ok then please come clean this disgusting rathole at least. She took more than one hour to show up and barely broomed around the room for 5 minutes. The grime, the dirty floors, remained as they were o In the bathroom the mirror had all kind of dirt streaks all over. Also the walls were smeared with some dirt o The pool: the outside lights did not turn on, there were all kinds of tubes hanging by the pool - Please have a look at the photos (if Expedia allows me to post) and decide for yourself. This place isn’t 4 stars. It is not even 1 star, this is a decaying property

Nothing, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!it was was dirty (actually filthy) and we had no hot water. Air conditioning wasn’t working and there was an open sewer in the kitchen area. It was noisy and the water bottle was open before we got there. No utensils to cook with, no toaster and it stank so badly. There was rubbish and cigarette buts, bottles tops, plastic cups and other rubbish all over garden. Lots of stuff was broken and falling apart and it was dated. The bedding and towels had stains and blood on them!! We ran our agent and got our money back and let there after s couple of nights into our one week stay. Read the reviews unlike me and don’t book this place.

Dont stay here

Terrible. Villa was old and disgusting. Couldn’t swim in the pool as there was many broken tiles. Would never stay again

Where do I start? Pool was green and mouldy pump not working, no glassware for a drink, so much glue holding kitchen sink together. Bath cracked, toilet leaking, bathroom amenities already opened and empty packets. No toilet paper. Requested to move but not able too, asked for towels they had none, asked for umbrella to get to room, they had none. Villa very dated and in need of Major repairs, we were very sad as it wasnt cheap. Always seeing guests complaining at front desk 😥 very disappointed and angry too be ripped off as this place is NOTHING like the photos!!!!!! RIPPED OFF BIG TIME!!!@

The Villas are spacious - but they are extremely run down and dont look like the photos. They were dirty, the sheets didnt fit the bed, there were insects and mold. The outdoor areas need to landscaped and cleared properly. It has great potential to be a great place to stay but currently I cant recommend the villa i stayed in

The pictures shown of the villa are not what you get ! It was very disappointing you think you’re walking into what you saw on the website. The villas a pretty run down. The staff is nice and polite and they try to do their best. Good thing we didn’t spend much time there we were in the move for the most part.

The property was not well maintained at all. When we arrived the villa was flooded and every time after it rained water seeped into the property. No basic amenities such as hand soap or hand towels were provided even after requesting from staff. Staff could barely speak English so that was also a barrier. There were cigarette butts left in the property even after pointing them out to staff to have it cleaned, which it never was. I only stayed 2 nights out of my 4 nights booked as I could no longer stay there

What a disgrace of a property, booked for 8 night and lost our money because we refused to stay in such a disgusting property. Looked for support from Expedia and their service was non existent. Total misrepresentation of a property on their website.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! It looks nothing like the pictures and Expedia should be ashamed for adding it to its list of stays. It is run down, dirty, staff don’t know what to do when customers arrive, toilets don’t work, shower was disgusting, bath had something growing out of it and not functional. This is worse than some hostels I have stayed in! You arrive and the reception has black mould growing everywhere and a pile of rubbish taking up a large area of the room. Staff were confused about how to check in and were late to provide the room. When we finally received a room it was awful. It was run down and not functional. Dirty sheets, more black mould on the walls, furniture that’s long seen better days. This place is falsely advertising what it is offering and needs to be reported. We quickly got new accommodation as we were not prepared to stay in this condition and did not feel entirely safe in our surroundings. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!

Staff were excellent. Food was great. Easy to get to a lot of places. Nice and private villa. Great size Villa and pool. Pool is not crystal clean, some of the Villas are run down and ageing. We requested a change of Villa when we first arrived due to unclean pool and many things were not clean or were in poor condition. When we changed Villa units then all was great.

So sad to leave!!!! Wonderful experience. WOW FACTOR VILLA FOR JUST £65 per night!!!! The villa has a big outdoor space and always sunny. The outdoor kitchen area is huge with a connected spacious lounge. The pool size is perfect and water temperature is nice and warm. Bathroom is immense with a jacuzzi for 2, double sink, shower cubicle has a very generous space and the wardrobe is connected.....the first time in my life I see a 6 doors wardrobe in the bathroom!!! The room is very spacious and airy. Air conditioning is working, there is a handy machine which gives instant cold and boiling water for your free coffee and tea. Staff is polite and welcoming. They always remember your name and villa number. The overall conditions of property and Villas are very good. The only little downsize is that food from the menu is often not available, but there are many restaurants nearby. Gusto gelato is great and Ingka restaurant is highly recommended. I will definitely go back!!!!

Service and communication before and during the holiday was perfect. Food was really nice and remotely cheap. Room and garden was really spacious and clean. The only thing I would complain about is that a few things needed updating/fixing - the 2 aircons in the villa blew out minimal warm air so the room was boiling but the staff gave us a portable aircon, which was fine just a little loud and wasn’t big enough for the space but it did allow us to sleep. And also the toilet blocked about 5 times during the week, which was rather annoying but again the staff fixed immediately each time. Overall the stay was great and we would definitely go back.

The villas were very spacious and clean, the pool and outdoor area was lovely. The food isn’t too flash, and our airport transfer didn’t show up, but other than that our stay was incredible.

Our 6 day stay started off good, staff were really nice, respectful and welcoming. Location is great with plenty of option on the road, and close to mainstrip on Sunset. It's just that what we booked for online is not exactly what we got when we turned up. We booked the one bedroom deluxe villa, 200sqm, with indoor living room, and buffet breakfast (as advertised on Wotif). We were instead taken to a two bedroom villa but with one room locked off, with no indoor living room, therefore our villa was much smaller than what we paid for. The excuse given was all the one bedroom villas had been booked out and they tries to accommodate with the next best option - which is fine, if they had made that clear at the time of booking or even when we checked in. As for the lack of buffet breakfast, the hotel basically said that's Wotif's fault and only offered one measly dinner as compensation. As I said before, the pictures online don't match reality. The rooms do look tired and patch up work done instead of renewal. Toilets don't flush well, with some flooding. Pool stayed uncleaned till we asked. I saw the hotel got awards back in 2012. Unfortunately it's probably stayed looking like it was since 2012. We had friends staying at other nearby accommodation and they probably got more bang for their buck. Had we not been misled with the villa size and breakfast, and had the place been updated and upkept, then we would've really enjoyed our first visit to Bali.

We were honestly looking forward to staying here for our first time in Bali due to the great reviews and private pool, however.. disappointed is the best word to describe it. The room itself was spacious, very big bathroom; however 5 out of our 8 night stay, we either had No water or no hot water and it was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Sometimes we wouldn't be able to shower until late in the evening between 10pm-1am. The insect cloth over the bed was filthy and there were a lot of very big, obvious and questionable stains. The bed sheets weren't changed at all during our stay.. one of us had a small cut on her foot and they didn't even change the sheets from the blood? We had to call and ask for it to be changed. After check out, we asked if we could use a public facility to shower after going to the beach before our flight.. as a nice gesture, they offered us the spa however there was no hot water or soapto use. They then offered us a vacant room to shower. The staff however, were absolutely lovely!

Satisfied with happy memories

Very warm hospitality with friendly and helpful staff. The villa is spacious amd condition is above average compared to other villa. Very minimal living creatives at outdoor area. Most mosquitos can be expelled away. Pool water reasonably clean. Good location with a Food Mall (non local supermarket) just at the corner (though no meat/vegetables available). Would extend the stay but other hotels already booked and not cancellable. But definitely will visit again for our next trip in Bali.

Don't be fooled by the pictures.

The villa was a complete misrepresentation. It appears to have had the pictures taken when it was first built and has not had any work done since. The mould covers whole walls where the paint bubbles and flakes onto the bed and ground, the pool spa doesn't work, the mirrors are pitted, the lighting it terrible, the bathroom towels were stained, bed is uncomfortable, gardens are not maintained and after several requests the grass still wasn't mowed and to top it off it is not even located where advertised. please don't be fooled by fake reviews and pictures like we were.

Excellent staff but the maintenance is lacking

Hotel staff was excellent and helpful but the resort is in need of renovations. First villa's water would stop working repeatedly and was full of mosquitos. Second villa after requesting to move was much nicer but hotel quality is definitely lacking.

Loved it!

Perfection. There was an issue with the door on the first night and staff fixed it immediately. Breakfast menu was small so we didn't eat there. So central, amazing location, huge room, very comfortable will stay again

the hotel has too much nature than required frogs and bugs plenty we even saw rats other insects were heard alot not to mention dogs and chickens too the food was terrible at the restaurant and room service aswell our pool filter and pump did not work neither did the fountain and we were told they are treating the pool which did not clear untile the 3rd day of our 4 day stay and still looked uninviting which ruined the personal pool experience which is why we decided to stay at a villa the villa according to pictures shown on hotels.com were deceptive and showed a closed liviing room , which is not wehat we got we got a open living room and in the rain with the heat and bugs was totally useless feature we didnt use it the only enclosed living room is the one bed villa should be more clear hotels.com !!! we feel as if we were cheated and it was a terrible stay not to mention the bathroom water had a strange smell and the jacuzzi in both rooms did not work and there was no tv on the jacuzzi as on the photos we feel our holiday was robbed from us terrribel terible stay never again !!!

Staffs are very nice, Facility a bit old

Staffs are very helpful and trying their best to accommodate our needs. for instance, the first night, found a large mould area in the ceiling of the main bathroom. They helped to swap the villa. Our kids had a lot of fun in the private pool. however, not sure how often the water in the pool gets clean, as saw some inset there. on our last day, saw a mouse next to the pool. the villa and common area are very pretty with nice flowers everywhere.

Very clean villas with great private swimming pool surrounded by beatuiful gardens. Rooms are huge and whole place has a peaceful relaxing vibe great location away from the noisy steets.

Not good at all.

Dissappointing for the money and the place is not clean and the bedding old and stained. Our aircon could not cope and the standard of food was by far the worst we had in Bali.

Villa's need upgrading

Overall the Villa's need upgrading and the food at breakfast needs to be improved. The service by all the staff is outstanding. Whenever we asked for a free shuttle they were so obliging to assist. The service was really amazing and the staff are always smiling. The spa in-house needs better air-conditioning. Overall I would give this resort 4/10. Sorry but I have stayed in better accommodation in Seminyak.

Staff are wonderful, great hotel

Great location, clean and roomy. The staff make it so wonderful and great value for money. Villas clean and very comfortable, private pools and yards are large and clean, breakfast is fabulous. Spa onsite good, handy and reasonably proced. We travelled with our small baby (Henry) and he had such a wonderful time with the staff who were so amazing with him, especially allowing us to eat a meal while they entertained him about the restaurant. Thank you Bali Rich!!

Wonderfall Stay

I had the most wonderful stay in my private pool villa. The staff especially Budi the reception senior was very helpful and welcoming with all the other staff in the villa resort furnishing need a little bit of TLC. I could not fault the service and the location was excellent with all the main shops and restaurants 5 to 10 minutes walk away and near Seminyak square. It was a very pleasant experience overall cant ask fore more.

Spacious, convenient, economical

Overall it was a pleasant stay as staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good, nearby eating and shopping places. Villa itself is spacious, rooms were huge even for three people. But the villa we were in (10), one of rooms' bathtub was leaking so we couldn't use the bathtub at all, only the showers. Had many options for breakfast, portions were just right. Poolside chairs need some upkeeping as they were slightly mouldy. Would recommend for families.

Amazing hotel, great staff, food, spa and prices

Bali rich is amazing! We stayed in a one bedroom villa and the room and pool were immaculate. The staff were amazing and the spa and food were fantastic. Prices for room service and massages were very reasonable. The hotel was quiet and located just a 4 min walk to the main shopping and food street in Seminyak. We will definitely be coming back.

Value for money

The place was clean n is as good as in the pics. Friendly staff n service on time. Value for money if spent quality time in the villa.

Luxury in Bali

We loved our stay. We booked a 1 Bedroom Deluxe Villa. Our room number was 219, it was about a 2 minute walk from the lobby and seemed like the furthest away from the lobby. It was very peaceful and quiet and we didn't really hear any other guests. We had free wifi, where you connect to a hotspot and then are asked to log in. It was great that it was all provided rather than having to ask for the wifi details. At night, you will find tiny lizards frogs outside, mostly due to the humidity at night, I was also lucky enough to meet a little cat which was scared but I was able to feed it and give it a bit of a pat. The staff were beautiful and always ready to assist with any questions and directions. It's about a 15 minute walk to Seminyak Square, which we found very easy to do even through the heat. There a Circle K (convenient store) as well as on the corner of sunset boulevard there was a small supermarket, burger king and pizza hut. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We wanted a quiet villa away from hustle and bustle but close enough that if we wanted to go out it wasn't a big deal. Bali Rich Villas was perfect for this. Villa was big,clean and comfortable. Staff were exceptional. Used the shuttle bus every day. They even got money changed for me. Room was made up when we wanted it done(when we went out). Really hard to fault this place. Not for people that want to party. It is walking distance to eat street(ginger moon,Chandigarh ect) We had family staying at a hotel close by. They were made to feel like a guest of the villas when the visited.

Warm welcome in the villa. Room decoration was excellent. But there are lot of mosquitos in the villa. So one need to remain with glass doors of villa always close.

Wonderful staff

Had a great six nights at Bali Rich. The staff are excellent and go the extra mile each and every day. The day I was checking out was my birthday and the staff had prepared a personalised cake and sang Happy Birthday to me! The villa was lovely, the weather awesome and the welcome warm.

Got a 1 bedroom villa. Awesome experience. The staff was helpful and attentive. Average breakfast. Transportation to go around bali (tanah lot, ubud) however was jacked up as we were tourist. The personal drivers or tours tend to bring you to only 1 spot as they most likely get commission/affliated with the shop owners. Cheaper options would be getting your own scooter or car perhaps. With that, you also get to stop wherever you like. And since food stalls can be quite far, having a car would totally be helpful. All in all, its a good trip. Would recommend this place if you want to explore around. But it is indeed quite a hassle at times to get to town especially at night.

Great escape

Spacious villa with private pool, friendly and super helpful hotel staffs. There were renovations going on next to the villa but doesn't affect anything within the villa compound. overall it is a nice place to stay and unwind yourself from the busy city life. Will definitely be back again.

Construction Site Next Door

There is a huge construction site next door and all day, every day and night (one night there were people working well after 3am, 2nd night 10pm and the 3rd night 9pm). The noise is so loud that you can't sit outside around the pool and watching TV inside the volume is up to 100. There is also alot of mosquito outside due to the wet grass, we used 2 cans of flyspray in 7 days. We also had a day with no hot water. The Villa's linen needs an update and the shower roof needs replacement. On the positive side - the staff were very pleasant and the breakfast & room service food was excellent.

Good Quality Getaway with Good Value

This was the first time we had been on a vacation in a pool villa. My wife and I were extremely impressed by the quality of the property. The villa management was very forthcoming in providing suggestions and executing them nicely when I mentioned to them about this being a celebration of my wife's birthday. We had booked a 1-bedroom deluxe villa. In this trip, we checked out 2 different villas (215 and 216)due to some technical issues and were very happy with them throughout our stay. They were both located in a quiet corner, a short walk from the main lobby and spa. Overall, we were very satisfied with the spaciousness, cleanliness, comprehensive facilities, privacy and customer service. Highly recommended!

Provate pool was a fantastic luxury

The Bali RIch villas were very comfortable and clean, with very polite staff who were accomdating and helpful at all times, particularly during the island tour we went on. The private pool was great to come home to after a day of sight seeing in the heat. The walk into Seminyak was challenging due to the conditions of the footpaths, but this was expected and made the pool even more inviting. I would stay again in the future.

Great service

Villa was gorgeous and kids had a great time in the private pool . Only thing was the leaking Aircon in our villa. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Time to relax

Really enjoyed staying at the Bali Rich Villas, very peaceful & quiet. The staff were adorable!! Always welcoming & polite & willing to cater to you (the guest). The menu is great & I recommend the vegetarian spring rolls lol, delicious. Sounds ridiculous I'm Sure, but if you do stay here just be mindful of the plumbing when using the toilet, don't fill the bowl up too much otherwise the toilet will get blocked lol. Location wise, the Villas are about 10-15min drive from Kuta Square but that's not really a problem as the hotel almost always has a driver available. I'd recommend this place to a couple wanting to relax & have some privacy or to families with young children who want somewhere safe and roomy :-)

Great Hospitality

We were overall satisfied with our stay at the hotel. Staff were warm and always happy to assist. They offer free airport pick up and drop off. Also free shuttle available daily at 11am, 3pm and 9pm. This villa is about 10-15mins walk to Seminyak Square. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast daily, good selection. Rooms are cleaned daily and of a good standards. Looks like furnishings look refurbishing though. Overall, this place is comfortable but we would prefer to stay closer to the beach next time.
