The hotel is very nice, clean, in good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. The choice of dishes is quite large, the products are fresh, however, there are not many vegetarian dishes. The only negative I can note is the bartender. He is not very enthusiastic about his work. The cocktails are prepared terribly: the quality is very bad, and the execution is completely wrong (I am a bartender 😉). Otherwise, we had a great time.
Good hotel
Short winter break
We had a lovely stay at Baia Lara mid November. The hotel and rooms are very comfortable with beautiful gardens and pools. The indoor heated pools (heated from 1st November) were a bonus and our little one had a great time in the kids pool. Food was good and varied with plenty of something for everyone. Entertainment was quite limited but understand that this can be the case during the winter. Not a problem for us. The only negative was that the rooms were quite hot and the A/c was inefficient so that leaving the balcony door open let in mosquitos and we did get a few bites. There are no mosquito nets at the doors, these would be a welcome addition.
Decent hotel with great food in payable a la carte but below average food in buffet. We did visit in November and it was the winter will low occupancy. Air con didn’t work and no iron in the room. The shower was hot but poor pressure.
Had a great time. Lovely staff and excellent food
Ordered room service to room our room. Finished with the food and had to call them 3 times to get the tray out of my room. After 3 calls, I had to take the tray down to the dining area myself. Would not recommend at all.
Staff were amazing and a lot of options to eat and have fun.
3 star hotel with a great location not more
like usual every summer we head to antalya. this time we had freinds in this hotel and we joined. after trying more than 15 big hotels, this was the worst. ofcourse we need to look at the price paid comparing other 5 stars hotels but i rank this hotel as a 4 star as for simplicity and ease to tour it and use its facilities but according to lobby and entrance and rest areas it does not worth more than 3 stars. about the food, too many varieties but low quality food. althought they spend too much on food but no engeneering no taste, no quality, no choices on major foods like meat chicken fish etc.... always one kind of fish, once a weak some steaks, rest is a factory working. staff are rude ,you do not feel so welcomed for the money you paid. all new recruits are great but old ones, chefs , su chefs are terrible. they see people as animals and need to finish feeding them.overall if u get a good price for it not more than 200 usd a night u can try it but paying 400 usd + its a total NO.
Great hotel
Family trip 4 days
Family friendly, service oriented staff, very clean common areas, pools and beach.
Like everything
I would not rate this as a 5 star hotel or a 5 star resort experience. We have been to many different resorts around the world and I wouldn't give this hotel the time of day if we knew what we were getting ourselves into. I would say that it's important to know your priorities and reason for booking before you do so because this place has its own pros and cons. It may be great, even amazing for some, but for those like us it was a mediocre experience. Check in was great! We were allowed an early check in without additional fees. The receptionists were very polite and courteous. The room was nice and clean, and we were even given an ocean view room. So far we were truly impressed. The problems started once we learned that the pool area doesn't have enough space for all the guests when the hotel is at full capacity. People are allowed to "reserve" sun beds around the pool by just dropping their beach towels. Some beds are just sitting like this without even being used half of the day while others can't find space. The other problem was with the misleading information about the number of restaurants that would be included in the deal. Expedia showed 4 restaurants that are included in the all-inclusive. Arriving here we learned we have to pay 25 euro per person if we wanted to dine at their restaurants outside of the buffet. The food was ok, we loved the baklava and it seemed like everything was fresh. The beach bar was super loud at night and we didn't sleep much!
Highly Recommended
What bc a great hotel. From the staff to the food everything was just fantastic. Well be going there next year.
Lived the property. Food and entertainment excellent. Beach fabulous, plenty of chairs for guests at pool and beach. Only problem was that the sheets were poor quality and scratchy. If you have room in your bags bring your own from home!
This hotel was the epitome of a perfect vacation, offering unparalleled relaxation and fun, exceeding my expectations. The staff were great, the food was fresh and delicious. the rooms were clean and the grounds (with pool and beach access) were immaculate. I would highly recommend the Baia Lara hotel, suitable for all types of holiday makers
Great service, more men on roller skates please
Water slides poor. Not enough entertainment throughout the day
Absolutely perfect. Amazing food, drinks, vibe, staff and a luxurious hotel with a private beach. Couldnt have asked for better!
The only thing I see bad is that the reception desk staff could be more friendly especially the morning staff
Staff was great and very welcoming. Good facilities and dining options. They have entertainment and activities all the time. This was our first experience at at all inclusive hotel and we can say that it does make it so much easier not having to go out to look for a restaurant and having everything you need in one place. We've been to Antalya before and did all the visiting so this time we just wanted to relax and this was perfect. To be very honest, food was not as good as on our last trip but at that time we stayed in the city and ate in places where locals usually go, but still they have a lot of options and everyone can find something to their taste. The only "issues" we've had at this hotel was to do with the guests and their mentality, as in waking up at whatever hour and "reserving" a sun lounger by putting a towel on it but then there would be no one using those sun loungers until late afternoon, or treating the staff absolutely disgusting and raising their voice at them but as I have said, this is not the hotel's fault and the staff has been absolutely amazing throught our stay.
Good familly friendly hotel with multiple options to entertain kids in pools, at the beach or in the water park.
Property was nice! Pools were very big and the food was great. However hallways and rooms need to be upgraded!
Everything was really good !!
Really nice hotel, good food and the staff were very friendly.
Great service and cleanliness, good accommodations, did not like spa services.
I recently stayed at the Baia Lara Hotel in Antalya, Turkey, and there were both positive and negative aspects of my experience. On the downside, there were numerous issues that impacted the overall quality of my stay. The ice cream man was rude, showers tended to flood, and certain amenities were lacking or of low quality. Additionally, the food selections were disappointing, not catering well to different dietary needs or allergies. Alcoholic drinks were not prepared properly, and the jacuzzi was not hot. The lack of proper communication from the kitchen staff and their rudeness further added to the frustration. Kids were sometimes yelled at, leading to tears, and the resort's responsiveness to complaints was lacking. Vegetarians faced a lack of food options, and the absence of seating on the beach after sunset was inconvenient. Restaurant reservations were a nightmare, and there were not enough larger tables available. Unpleasant interactions with kitchen staff and issues with cleanliness persisted. Entertainment options for teenagers were limited, with no cinema and subpar dance shows. The water park was more suitable for young children than teenagers, and the 16 disco had its drawbacks. On the positive side, the cleaning staff was kind and deserved higher compensation. The pasta and ice cream were highlights, and the hamam spa experience was excellent. The beach and pool were enjoyable, offering separate areas to cater to different preferences.
Beautiful property
Not worth the money anymore
This was our second time to stay at Baia Lara after an 8 year gap. To say the least it was beyond disappointment. The majority of the staff are rude, impolite or just avoid you. The family room we took was spacious compared to other resorts we have stayed in the area. The main restaurant has more or less the same food for dinner every night under the lable of "themed nights". It is very difficult to find a table even for a family of 4. The chairs and floor in the main restaurant are disgusting. Food everywhere so be prepared to end up with stains on clothes after seating from the previous table members. On many occasions of my stay I had to clean the table myself as the waiters ignored the fact that there is a young child holding a plate full of food waiting to be seated. Rude and impolite. Entertainment has become BORING. A pool activity is the most exciting highlight of the Entertainment. The team are not full of smiles not friendly when you see them around. Kids animators are in hibernation in the kids club. Previously they would go around inviting the kids for activities. The only pleasant experience was the front desk manager who was very apologetic and gave us a late check out. All in all, this was not a 5* hotel anymore and my second stay was a disappointment and waste of money.
A Disappointing Experience at a So-Called 5-Star Hotel. recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the highly-touted "5-star" hotel, and I must say, it was nothing short of disappointing. The food was terrible and was the same every day and I got food poisoning eating their donor. unappetizing food that looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The rooms were outdated and the bathroom was disgusting, there was mold in the shower, and the shower drain was not draining. The staff was very inconsistent and moody. In conclusion, my stay at this supposed 5-star hotel was an utter disappointment from start to finish. The lack of genuine hospitality, shabby accommodations, and substandard amenities make it abundantly clear that this establishment is nowhere near deserving of its inflated rating. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look elsewhere for a truly luxurious and enjoyable experience. At last not sure how it got such a high rating on Expedia. Waste of money for me
Great experience
You don’t need to go out of this property. It is that attractive. Too many different activities
Food beautiful, room clean, everyone friendly, only one downfall the aircon in the room did not get cold at all. Mentioned this a few times it did get checked but still didnt get cold
We had a great time at the Baia. The staff was amazing, helpful, from the Grounds crew to Housekeeping, Food Service, all made this a great stay.
It was so awesome
I travelled with my wife and nearly 3 year old! First holiday for a while! I have to say we had a amazing time! We booked the two bedroom room which was sea view, if you have little ones that go to bed around 18:00 - 20:00 highly recommend not having a sea view room and request a room that faces the front, worth it due to the open beach bar whihc has music playing not too late, but enough to cause disturbance if your little one is trying to get to sleep! Ideal for families. Staff were very friendly! And would also recommend the La Stone Spa for a massage, make sure you negiotiate on the listed prices :)
The staff was always very attentive and kind, we had a wonderful time!
There’s nothing not to like about this hotel. All the staff made me feel welcome and were very helpful. My room had a sea view and I had room service for a little extra. The meals were good and arrived quickly. Good facilities for all. Good choice for any age. Great location.
N/A
the room was bad as amatter of fact it should not be rented it lacks acutely the basic needs for living. it is not suitable for 5 stars hotel at all,the girls from guest relationships tried their best to ease the situation but their means and abilities are limited, speacial thanks and appreciation for ILANA FROM THE GUEST RELATIONSHIP without her endeavour my stay would have been unbearable since everyday of my four ones there was something to comlain about. i have come again to this hotel because i had previous experience when i stayed about a week 2 years ago
It was during Nowruz and the hotel was well-prepared for the guests.
the staff made their best but rather utmost effort to make our stay more enjoyable and pleasant especially the guests relationship administrator YASMEEN. my suggestion to the management to add some tv channels in Arabic, as things are now, arab guests are biased against
We love that hotel
We'll be back again. Everything was very good and we got a lots of positive emotions.
Nice hotel, great facilities
Facilities are great for a young family particularly the indoor pool as being late October we had a couple of rainy days. Outdoor pools were too cold but the sea was still nice and warm for swimming. Fast food lunches were great with so many options. Dinner could be improved, mostly Turkish food with very variate and not much cooked in front of you. Kids buffet is a good idea but again limited selection. Food and drinks available day and night so even at busy time plenty of food available and no queues.
Beautiful tasteful hotel
The place is absolutely beautiful, food is great and service impeccable. I am somewhat disappointed with the activities. May be it's the end of the season but I expected more.
Best All Inclusive Deal !!
I really enjoyed my stay at Baia Lara hotel overlooking lovely views of the beach which had generous patch of its own private beach !!! The staff were polite and courteous and guest services really gave a personalised service making the stay all the more special ! The food was of excellent quality and there was good selection of restaurants including a la carte and beach restaurants. There was daily entertainment in lobby area with good atmosphere, there was good number of pools for both adults and children which included heated pools. The rooms were cleaned daily and hotels decor inside and out all added to a special experience that I would recommend.
Excellent family holiday
Great hotel, staff and facilities. Can't fault anything really.
Room had no balcony, cup of milk was left in room for 3 days. Food was overcooked and not pleasing. Plenty of variety but not to a high standard. Ice cream only served for 3 hours in the day.
Tavsiye ederim
Very nice
A very beautiful, all-inclusive resort close to the airport. The only downside is that the activities are closed because it is the winter season. The rooms are beautiful and the meals are delicious and varied.
