Hotel was delightful. We booked a superior room near the garden so had great views of the temples and hotel garden. Breakfast and dinner were very good and efficient. 5 minute drive to the Valley on Temples. Our only complaint was that there was a US tour group also staying who were noisy, particularly late at night, drinking and talking loudly in the garden area. I think that this should be made clear before booking
You can see the Valley of Temples from the Baglio. Staff were wonderful. Fine dining on site. Beautiful building and gardens!
Della Luna 5 star hotel
Our stay here was wonderful. The room and the views were spectacular. The location perfect, the best location to visit the local sites. We loved the restaurant at della Luna and the service was exceptional. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
The historic value of the place is worth the journey !!!
Amazing!
This hotel and the grounds are amazing. Views of the valley of the temples and the sea. So glad we found this place.
The hotel is in an excellent location, has a nice patio and garden and serves breakfast and dinner. Highly recommandable.
Excellent in Every Way
This beautiful property offers comfort and classic service to travelers who appreciate fine dining and accommodations. On a hillside setting with magnificent views, it is conveniently located close to Agrigente.
Amazing facility
Cannot say how much we loved our time here - the staff was so lovely, the grounds were beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay.
This is one of the nicest hotels we ever stayed in. The grounds were gorgeous, our room was beautifully appointed with views over the valley in two directions, and it was extremely close to the temples without needing to go into the town. We highly recommend this place.
Property is beautiful
Close to Valley of the Temples. Did taxi to and from. Excellent dinner on site
This is excellent property if you want to see the Valley of the Temples and stay in a very nice hotel outside of the city of Agrigento. Very nice and clean rooms, with all the amenities you will need, including for breakfast and dinner. The property has very nice gardens for a morning or afternoon walk.
Beautiful relaxing property...my favorite in Sicily!
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location excellent for visits to the nearby temples of Agrigento
Nice hotel to visit Agrigento
Wonderful!!
A breathtaking hotel! Wonderful bites, close to the temples and beach! The food in the restaurant is just awesome! Will definitely be coming back next time in Agrigento❤️❤️❤️
Staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpul.
Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous garden and an excellent restaurant. Convenient to the Valley of the Temples.
Great historic feel and beautiful gardens looking out at the Valley of the Temples.
Beautiful property set in lovely gardens with a very friendly staff.
Beautiful property! Very close to the ruins. Excellent service
The hotel and grounds were beautiful! We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was excellent. One of our guests had some plumbing problems. Even though I would stay there again.
Gorgeous property, friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed longer
Beautiful hotel, traditional features. Views from the watchtower of the Valley of the Temples were great. The hotel has advertised no lift, however, two floors of spiral staircase with a large suitcase was challenging. Also, to be noted, there was a low ceiling in the spiral staircase. Food in the hotel was good, but at the top end for price for anything else we had eaten. Location for visiting the Valley of the Temples was perfect, just a 5 minute drive.
Beautiful view, loved the service and the restaurant
I loved this place. It was outside of Agrigento up on a little hill. Beautiful and peaceful. The staff was excellent, the restaurant was very good, the garden beautiful. You could see most of the greek/roman ruins from the patio. It was nice to be out of the city but near it..
Agrigento stay in paradise
Our stay was amazing Salvatore and the other staff were terrific and very fun. The restaurant was amazing, we ended up eating there both nights and both meals were amazing as was breakfast. Beautiful view at night of the Temples. The walk to the beach is a bit much yet the beach was wonderful, maybe a cart or shuttle would be a nice addition. Room was nice and comfortable and only issue of our stay was that air conditioning didn’t work well, we were offered a room change but only if we did it that very minute, which we thought was a little harsh and we had a driver on the way for our outing for the day. We would highly recommend hotel but a couple of things need some work Also I am a swimming pool consultant and contractor and would highly recommend changing the drain in the hot tub, Internationally their is the VGB act requiring a drain over. I my self had one foot held down with the suction momentarily and I was strong enough to pull it off however a child might not be able to do so, just fyi.
Beautiful Hotel
The hotel was very nice with beautiful views and amazing service. It was well situated to the Valley of the Temples Otherwise it was not close to the town. Dinner was amazing and I would highly recommend it.
Good restaurant with dinner outside with beautiful view.
We stayed one night during a week-long tour of Sicily. It was ideally located for exploring the Valley of the Temples.
Comfortable hotel in wonderful location
A two night stay to visit the Valley of Temples. Comfortable hotel but somewhat over priced.
This is a beautiful property in a slum area as is the case in Sicily and much of Italy. Service and food excellent! Beds like sleeping on a stone slab. Do not avoid this property because of the environs, it is a sanctuary. Do check around for price (I hadn't) because Expedia booking was $200 per night when it was available for $130.
very nice hotel great breakfast excellent location very nice people
The property is quite beautiful and the staff is terrific
Great hotel! Must stay here!
Beautiful hotel and close to so many places of interest. The staff was exceptional and very particular about ensuring their guest were comfortable and taken care of. I would definitely stay here again.
A charming property with lovely views and gardens. reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent but would advise to eat evening meal at local restaurants, as limited menu on site.
Wonderful
Wonderful resort. Great breakfast. Nice facility.
The hotel is located at the top of a hill. The view is gorgeous. The staff are very friendly. It was a pleasant experience!
Beautiful grounds!!!
Lovely small hotel- the grounds are so beautiful.
Dining room was very good with very friendly service. Convenient access to the Valley of the Temples. Only challenge was erratic WIFI access.
Amazing hotel with fabulous views and decor
An awesome experience, highly recommended a d a bit of history. Got the best room and staff were just amazing. Your will not regret staying here!
What a gem of a hotel with historic roots dating back to the 14th century! Beautifully situated with views of Agrigento, the ruins, and the Mediterranean. The staff gave us top-notch service throughout our stay from excellent meals to setting up tours, and letting us enjoy the sunset from the top of the watch tower. Highly recommend!
This is a lovely property with a view of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable, and there is free parking. But what makes this property stand out is the beautiful garden where dinner is served (there is also a small pool in the garden). The food from the restaurant is excellent and the service is top notch.
Absolutely fantastic. Historic property built around a medieval watch tower. Views of the water and Valle dei Templi ruins. The gardens were lush, beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The on-site restaurant was fabulous and some of the best meals I had in Sicily. Restaurant is outside on a beautiful patio with clear view of the ruins lit up at night. The staff was friendly and gracious. Salvatore the head waiter is a real gem of a person.
Unique location with beautiful gardens. Choiceof room is key to the stay.
The property itself is historical and you can see the temples from the hotel. Hotel staff was so helpful and welcoming. They arranged a walking tour of the temple sites. Our guide was great! We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Their grounds are just gorgeous. Flowers, birds singing, manicured olive tree and nice sounds from the fountain. Many lounge areas both inside and out.
The food at this restaurant/hotel is AMAZING. The room was decent but it just doesn’t matter because of the food.
What a wonderful place! The gardens are lovely, the hotel is quirky and historic. Views across to the temples and Agrigento are stunning. The staff are fantastic. The restaurant is good, a little pricey and the menu limited, but of the highest quality. And as a bonus, a short walk to the beach as well. A little bit of magic in Agrigento that I highly recommend.
Wonderful location within easy range of Agrigento. Beautiful site, accommodations and staff.
This property is an oasis in Agrigento! I can't say enough good things about the beauty of the property and how friendly and kind the staff was to us! We really felt like we were on vacation and being pampered. The views from our balcony were lush and intoxicating. The food was outstanding and the staff was delightful.
nothing I didn't like about this hotel. It was super including dinner and breakfast, the location and gardens. no trouble staying 2 weeks
Classic style with the Valley of the Temples as a backdrop. The property has extraordinary gardens with ample places to sit and relax with a book or drink. Staff were gracious and helpful.
Highly recommend. We stayed for three days and it was far to short. Very relaxing atmosphere.
The property was lovely although our room wasn’t the best - on the shady side of the building with a poor view. Towels were changed more frequently than necessary, ignoring the policy of “leave them in the bath if you want them changed”. The restaurant served very nice food and it was served by lively staff.
Lovely setting- perfect place to explore the temples.
The hotel was lovely. Nicer than I’d expected
Nice property, location a bit remote but close to The Valley of Temples
Tranquil setting overlooking the Temple Valley - and such wonderful food.
Old Rooms were bad Overall place is ok on the small side with below average rooms
Good value for money
Nice hotel although we had to change room as the a/c smellled. But they changed immediately with no fuss. Restaurant was in the garden which was lovely but food nothing to write home about.
Don't look for any refunds
I accidentally booked the wrong night online. Realized it right away and they refused to give me a credit, or comp me for another night.
The location was excellent. The view of the temples was awesome. The breakfasts were great and the dinner service was unexcelled!!
Lush bnb with old Sicilian charm
From checkin to checkout this was a beautful, peaceful stay after driving the aggravating stradas of Sicily. The grounds are enchanted and look out to the Valley of the Temples. Amazing and fragrant flowers abound. Don’t miss the secluded room-temperature jacuzzi-style pool surrounded by trees. Room is clean and well-appointed with classic old fashioned monogrammed linens. Staff is lovely and restaurant for dinner is great. I would agree with previous review that bright lighting in restaurant at night spoils the view! The lights glare against the windows. That’s my only criticism! Loved the center courtyard for drinks and retro music playing. Easy parking++++
The hotel like setting was very nice. The hotel was fenced in from the surrounding neighborhood. The views from the restaurant were fabulous! The dinners were excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Beautiful old building in lovely well cared for gardens. The setting is stunning and the proximity to the Valley of the Temples is a bonus. The food is fabulous too.
Magnificent historic setting with a beautiful garden and views to the Valley of the Temples. With an excellent restaurant, bountiful breakfast and friendly professional staff this hotel is a gem.
I liked the historical background. There was a nice walk to the beach. Taxi to the ruins was very steep so a tradeoff between staying in a beautiful places versus convenience. The grounds we're absolutely gorgeous
Clean property, attentive staff above all in the dining room. Good dinners
Charming great food.garden is amazing, perfect for relaxing after along, hot visit to the temples
Staff are willing and able to take care of their guests. Dining room and food are excellent and breakfast is a delight. Not far from Valley of the Temples and yet located easily off the highway in a rural setting. We loved this place.
The garden, the views and the courtyard were spectacular. Dining staff were excellent.
Love the staff. The restaurant is very good. The tour the concierge recommended us was amazing. The only negative thing was the shower , literally three drops.
unique place, beautiful views, special location - across the Valley of the Temples.
Fabulous dinner menu. Best meal of our entire trip Gorgeous dining area overlooking temples, sunset and beautiful gardens Close to Temples Room was a little old and musty and could go with an upgrade. Generally VERY good value
The hotel was very comfortable with an excellent breakfast. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and courteous to our needs. We enjoyed the court yard music and the very cute, playful and well behaved "stray dog" that they made sure to let us know was not the hotel dog. I hope they changed their mind as he is a real delight...please make sure to save him something from your meal. ;)
Staff gracefully resolved my booking error and accommodated is a night early. Beautiful venue. Great restaurant onsite. Special.
We would definitely go back again
Lovely hotel, very comfortable room and bed, Quiet location, lovely setting Excellent restaurant Friendly staff
This property is just outside of Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples. Both are easily accessed. The hotel is a converted farm. Accomodations were quite comfortable. Food was very good too. Check in staff and wait staff were very plesant and helpful.
Award winning ground
Stunning grounds with views of the Temples. Beautiful gardens and excellent restaurant. Rooms dated but clean.
The Valley of Temples Stay
Overall a lovely spot to stay while seeing The Valley of the Temples. The sink was in desperate need of resurfacing. Would prefer waste baskets to be open and lined with a liner. Not a lid that has to be touched every time you open it!
Very nice hotel near the Agrigento archeological site. Great garden with view to the ruins ideal to have an evening drink!
A boutique getaway from the ususal Agrigento
Great property, great room, great spirit, great food! We were a little afraid because we were reading some bad comments in the internet about this place, but nevertheless decided to book this place. It was just amazing an I really don't understand the negative comments about this place.
Historic property is well-maintained with a very professional and helpful staff. The hotel is very close to the Valley of the Temples and has a view of the ruins.
A perfect oasis
Comfortable bed, quiet spot, views of Valle dei Tempe .
Two day break in Agrigento
Difficult to find fault with Baglio Della Luna. Room, restaurant and service were excellent and the facilities for relaxation in the garden were perfect. Just to top things off there is a fantastic view of the Valley of the Temples from the restaurant.
Great stay
Great
It’s a cute hotel with a nice view of the ruins. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we wish we had more time to spend there.
Good for An Overnight
This is a nice hotel near the Valley of the Temples. We were there for three nights, which was too long. It is very isolated so you end up have dinner in their restaurant every night, which can be a bit hit or miss. The wifi is very poor and there are no other TV channels than the Italian ones. We had originally booked a suite but the room was so dark with the only window at knee height that we changed to an ordinary room that at least had a nice terrace with a view. I don't think that I would return to the area.
The hotel has lovely gardens and the dining room is quite nice. Unfortunately the service particularly for English speaking people is poor. Although you only order coffee as the breakfast is a buffet, we were ignored and treated rudely in trying to place our coffee order every day of our stay. A number of guests were American or British so it was surprising. Very different service than we experienced in other parts of Sicily. Rooms are adequate but dark and beds hard.
Tecommendable
Great place. Needs a little renovation but fantastic. Not too modern amenities
lovely hotel, fine restaurant, really one of the best places to stay in Agrigento
Brilliantly located and brilliantly run
Historic hotel with enough facilities to make for a very comfortable stay, and service to match. Friendly, attentive staff who helped out and went the extra mile (flat tyre pumped up, beach umbrellas supplied, bikes offered, etc). There's even a hidden outdoor jacuzzi in the lovely gardens, which are filled with fruit trees, flowers and herbs. And dinner in the superb restaurant was something special: stunning views of ancient Greek temples accompanied by great Sicilian food and wine (Michelin standard). Can't recommend it highly enough.
The setting was outstanding overlooking the Valley of the temples. Our room was 2 stories in the tower and very clean and spacious. I was ill the day we were there and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was very nice and the grounds were stunning.
Ambiance hard to beat. Very beautiful gardens that afford casual relaxation. American-style breakfast included.
Ok but they rooms are old.
The grounds of the hotel are incredible beautiful and historic. It is only a 5 minute drive to all the old ruins nearby which is very convenient. I will say i don't believe the pictures they have of the rooms are accurate as the rooms we had are very very old.
Great place
A beautiful small hotel in the middle of the Valley of the Temples. Beautiful gardens and Excellent restaurant. There is nothing within walking distance, but then they would not have the gardens if they were in town. I recommend it highly
Go for the kitchen and the charm of the place
Charming place, with beautiful garden and terraces, withtemple valley visible in the distance. Beach can also be reached after a 10 min walk. Very friendly hotel staff. Great positive surprise was the restaurant with a young chef, who great talent, who prepared outstanding, beautiful, creative dishes - effortlessly outclassing the more pretentious, but less savoury kitchen of the very expensive top-dwelling in the valley (villa Athena).

This hotel is outstanding in every regard. Delicious food, friendly and competent staff. The hotel grounds are your own Garden of Eden. Impeccably clean, spacious and comfortable rooms.
