Nice hotel with a good location. It is a really cheap hotel, and you get good value for what you pay for. It's very old with dated amenities. Would recommend for a quick stay as it's a short walk from Hoi An Old Town

A Bit Dated

The Staff were lovely and helpful, but the hotel has seen better days. Upon arrival, it has the appearance of a resort, but would need a huge amount of money spent on it to bring it up to a good standard and condition. The bathrooms were pretty average, the mattresses old and lumpy and the wiring a bit all over the shop. Another annoying feature (not necessarily the hotel's fault) was a street vendor just outside the hotel with a recorded message playing on repeat from mid-afternoon until about 10:00pm, which we could hear in our room and was a bit frustrating. Nonetheless, it was clean, and we enjoyed our time here. The staff tried hard and the location is good.

This is a tired hotel that needs extensive renovations. The flooring was feeling off, the tub leaked, the hotel smelled of mildew, and the shower head holder was broken, so you had to hold the hose. The pool was clean, but many of the tiles were loose. It has a nice location, and the rooms were large, but I don't think that I would stay there again. There are nicer hotels available for about the same rate.

This hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from Hoi An riverfront area. It is olderstyle hotel, but the rooms were very big and had good airconditioning. The breakfast was very average - not much to choose from and everything was cold, except for the eggs/omelette they cooked fresh. Pretty good iced coffee though!

Hotel is located a stone’s throw from where the sleeping bus drops you off. Opposite the Water Puppet Theater, right off the main road to Da Nang and beaches. While the hotel is a little dated the a/c was magical. The pool was huge and I actually had it to myself one evening. Breakfast seems to depend on how many guests are in the hotel. I should have called the front desk when my shower didn’t go hot but it was so hot outside that I was fine with cold water only. Enjoyed my stay.

Lovely staff & breakfast, but hotel past its prime

Our stay got off to a bad start when we had to wait at the airport for over 30 minutes for our pre-arranged hotel driver. However the hotel staff were lovely when we finally arrived. Our room was spacious, WiFi and breakfast were good and the laundry service was excellent. It was a short walk into the very centre of Hoi An and we liked being a little out of the busy centre. However our room always felt damp, the airconditioning had a lot of mildew on the wall around it and the room was very tired. The hotel needs updating. The hotel arranged for another driver to take us back to the airport and he was punctual, his car was clean and we were very relieved.

Stayed in 2014 and retuned recently. Staff friendly and poll still one of the best in Hoi An but accommodation looking tired.

Very good hotel but restaurant is so so.

The room was great, very roomy, and quiet even though it overlooked the entrance and parking lot. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to tourist sites. Breakfsst was very good, nice selection of hot and cold items. Eggs made to order. Only item of note was the "restaurant" was a large, open room in a separate building. It did not feel "inviting" for dinner, in fact,one night I walked in and the staff sitting in the corner simply ignored me. So I walked down the street until I found a place more inviting. That is how I dined the rest of my stay; found a small place that looked welcoming. Lastly, the pool was great after a hard day of walking.

Pleasant experience

Comfortable room, handy location. Nice surroundings. Good pool. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good.

Wifi was no good at all, spent more time trying to connect than actually being on. Breakfast was good, staff did not speak much English so there was communication problems with the most simple of things. We stayed for 6 days while it was raining so I feel I can't really give a fair review on the area.

2 nights October 2016. Even though the hotel is starting to show it's age the rooms were still roomy and comfortable, however the bathroom was a bit run down. It offers a good sized swimming pool. Situated a 10 minute walk into Hoi An.

Close to old town and lovely pool

Furnishings slightly outdated, but room fairly comfortable. Breakfast good and outdoor pool lovely. 5 minutes walk into old town.

Will not hesitate to book this hotel again

Decent and rather well maintained hotel, but showing its age: old furniture (still fine) and old tv, but internet worked good during the six-day period I spent there. I had to look hard for a room with (almost) black out curtains (most rooms have nice but see-through curtains; too much light could sip through). Breakfast is buffet, simple but tasty. Pool is huge and nice with a swim up bar!

You get what you pay for!

Disappointed on arrival. The price was cheap and didn't live up to the photos or other reviews. We moved rooms after the first night because the noise made it impossible to sleep. Room 2 was quiet but still unpleasant. Questionable cleanliness, awful beds and I could go on..... The staff did try their best and were friendly.

Great choice for spaciousness, pool and value.

I booked this hotel while already in Hoi An, so I knew what we were getting. Our priorities were a spacious suite, a nice pool area and excellent value - and the Bach Dang delivered. This facility is from an earlier era, kind of the opposite of a boutique hotel. The pool seems newer, and is the best part of the facility. Breakfast was plentiful but uninspiring. The location is okay, but a place closer to the centre of the old town would reduce walking. Not the place I'd go for a romantic getaway, but great value for a family of 4 on a budget.

good location but very noisy

Perfect location for a Young family to explore Hoi An, 4 km from beach, 1 km from old city. Amazing pool, very clean family room with one seperate bedroom. Breakfast buffet selection very good but food always cold...service with a smile is not an option at this hotel. Great rooms for price but traffic noise ends at 11pm and starts at 530 am. If you are a light sleeper this iss certainly not the best hotel in the family rooms avaiable only in front of hotel near street. Overall good experience for the price

Not a great stay at the bang dang

No one took our bags to the room. There was a rock concert across the road that was extremely loud. When we went to have a cocktail at the pool bar we interrupted a staff member who was sleeping and then he smoked as he served us. The ceiling had mould on it. We did not have our room cleaned for 3 days or fresh rows after asking each day. We arrived early one day for breakfast and yesterday's pancakes were served. No taxi or cyclists from the ancient town were willing to take us there and it was a fair walk each time to go to the old quarter. A good bike ride though.

just OK, friendly staff

This hotel was OK...just. The bed was hard as a rock and the bedding substandard. Pillow top mattresses were advertised on hotels.com, when I asked for a room with this, they brought me an extra pillow!! Staff tried to tell me that I HAD to buy a 6$ ticket just to step foot into old town (not true). The hotel was clean however, but the pool area kind of seemed ghetto. The day I left they had a vietnamese wedding there all day, pumping ABBA to the rafters. Quiet otherwise. For my money I would rather have the same type of room closer into to old town. This place is fine for a one-night stop while you recon your surroundings. The staff was very friendly and certainly helpful as they possibly could be given the language barrier.

Great find on the fringe of old Hoi An

Going off a few reviews I booked this for my family for 3 nights in Hoi An. The pictures don't really show how large this all is but it still manages to feel relaxed. It was nowhere near full so we had a lot of space in the bar and at the pool to relax which was fantastic. The hotel is 10/15 minutes walk from the old town so not as close as others, but it's perfectly situated for its size and the size of the pool! The hotel also has friendly staff who were happy to help. Only 2 small downsides - the prices of drinks where quite high in comparrison to other hotels we have stayed in (but there's a shop round the corner) and the shower was a low showerhead in the bath, which seems to be a trend in Vietnam except for higher end weasternised places Really enjoyed this place and would recommend! There are cheaper out there, but the pool is definitely worth it to escape the heat!.

Ok stay

The hotel is tired and needs a slight regurb. We only stayed one night. The pool was good but they changes the breakfast from a buffet to standard without notification.

Great pool and breakfast buffet

Wonderful helpful and accomodating staff, location ok, about 15 min walk to city. Hotel was quiet, not many people staying it seemed but it had a fab pool with bar, towels provided, breakfast was great and includes free fresh omelets. Reasonable price considering facilities. $3 taxi from the beach if feeling lazy, $25 taxi from danang airport. hotel does a good drop off service, approx $20 for a car. Got an electric shock from the lamp... But otherwise the room was great and large. The blue light outside the rooms with balconies is annoying, stays on all night and the curtains are thin. Good wifi.

Good hotel near centre.

The hotel is clean, spacious and is within easy walking distance of the old town of Hoi An which is an amazing place to visit especially at night. The staff are very helpful and organised taxis and onward travel. The hotel is only 4mms to the local beach-An Bang which is quiet and less touristy than Cui Dai. Hotel has a lovely pool and discounters. The restaurant food isn't brilliant but as there are many cheap and tasty alternatives you don't need to.

Satisfied Stay

I found the hotel very good and was satisfied with my stay. It's situated on the edge of Hoi An but it's only a 5 minute walk into the centre. The staff were all pleasant and willing to help with anything. The hotel manager booked my train ticket and pick-up transport for a very modest fee. The room facilities could probably do with an overhaul and upgrade but I had booked the hotel so I could relax after a hectic stay in HCMC so I found the swimming pool at the rear of the hotel perfect for those hot afternoons when it was too hot for walking around town. Hoi An is a must for anybody visiting Vietnam.

Standard hotel

We used this hotel for 2 days. The rooms were large and clean but lacked that wow factor. The breakfast was very good and had a large choice in a buffet style. Location was about 10 mins walk from the old town,

Fantastic hotel, location, staff, food & pool!!!!!

We had an amazing time here for 5 nights. Staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful and spoke really good English. The Manager HUNG looked after us from the minute we arrived to the minute we left so very impressed. We booked for 2 adults & 2 children and were obviously upgraded to their VIP suite with 2 bedrooms. Amazing bathrooms and very comfortable!!! Very happy with breakfasts and the hotel beauty & spa got a good workout from my daughter at very reasonable prices!! We all loved the pool night & day. Cheap bar food & drinks. So many small finishing touches that make all the difference . Amazing location - ATM's, family supermarket, laundries, so many cafes/restaurants that cater for Western food so close by. 5 mins walk and you're in the heart of the tailor made clothes & shoes district so we loved it. Some days we were in and out of the hotel about 4 or 5 times. Hotel close by so we could come back for refreshing swims & showers in between then back for more shopping & eating out. Hired bikes from the hotel so easy to get around. Definitely recommending this hotel and hoping to go back in a few years time!!!!

Nice hotel on outskirts of hoi - an

We booked 1 night at this hotel, but enjoyed the whole area so much we stayed 3 nights. Although the hotel is a bit tired in places, the rooms are clean and the staff friendly and helpful. There is a nice outdoor pool and a buffet breakfast offering a fair choice. Bikes can be rented cheaply and the hotel is right next to a street where cheap eats and beer can be found.

Udemærket hotel til pengene

Værelserne var ikke super gode. Køleskabet virkede ikke, risten på badeværelset sugede ikke vandet, så alt var vådt og tv’et lignede noget fra 90’erne som ikke virkede. Poolen og morgenmaden var fin. Ligger i fornuftig gåafstand fra byen

Vanha ja kulahtanut hotelli

Hotelli on vanha ja kulunut. Huoneessa (sviitti) oli hierova suihkukaappi (ei toiminut), poreileva amme (ei toiminut) ja japanilainen wc (ei toiminut), mutta ennen kaikkea lämpimän suihkunkin saaminen oli satunnaista. Reseptionin henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta, hyvä uima-allas. Sijainti melko hyvä.

Decent

First impressions were less than pleased because of the room being quite dated, but eventually it was an ok stay. The location is good, a kilometer from the crowded old town but with plenty of good local restaurants nearby, and two kilometers from the beach. It's noisy though, there are gaps in the windows and doors and the traffic noise comes in. There was nothing that stood out particularly, and a lot of stuff that could be better (TVs, pool bar, room interior for example), but then again it's a 3-star hotel and everything worked even if was old.

Veel waar voor je geld!

Mooi complex Op 10 loopminuten van de oude stad met een heerlijk groot zwembad. Bijzonder vriendelijke en hulpvaardige staf die er plezier in scheppen je goed en compleet te helpen. Na een bescheiden klacht over het straatgeluid, kregen we een gratis upgrade naar een zeer ruime VIP-kamer. On the downside: het complex en de kamers ogen wat gedateerd, maar de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is uitstekend!

공항에서 너무 멀어~

그냥 저냥 저렴한 가격대비는 괜찮음. 주변에 볼거리는 하나도 없음. 모닝글로리까지 택시 25000동 나옴. 한국인은 못봤고 유럽사람들만 있음. 아이들 없으면 자전거나 오토바이 투어도 좋을 것 같음.

위치는 구시가지에서 도보로 약 20~30분 거리에 위치합니다. 수영장이 있어서 아주 좋습니다. 가격대비 매우 만족합니다.

올드타운까지 15분정도 도보로 이용해야 합니다

가격만큼만 하는 호텔이란 느낌.단지 수영장을 이용할 수있고,조식 뷔페이용할 수 있다는 장점. 뷰는 주차장뷰,뒷편에 수영장이 있어 풀뷰룸은 없어 보입니다. 객실 넓었지만 전체적으로 오래된 느낌. 샤워기 고장나서 요청했더니 금방 고쳐주셔서 감사했습니다.

世界遺産地区からほどよい距離感

ダナンからの路線バス（黄色い車体のヤツ）の終点から、徒歩５分くらいでした。 また、日本橋までも徒歩１０分くらいで着きますし、途中はずっと市街地で人通りも多いので、夜でも安心して動けます。 ホテルの売店は土産物しかありませんでしたが、ホテルの東隣にコンビニがあり、たいていのものは揃います。 部屋はテレビがブラウン管の古いものが残念なのと、hotels.com上は存在することになっている、部屋ごとの金庫はないことが残念でした。 朝食は美味しかったです。

친절한 스테프, 거대한 방, 구시사지와 그다지 멀지 않은 장소, 여러가지로 흡족했습니다. 다시 호이안에 간다면 꼭 이용하고 싶군요. 지인에게 추천할 수 있는 만족도 입니다.
