not a good location, basically in a alley , nothing close by to far to walk to any beach, no convince store nearby at all. Staff was ok not outgoing friendly by ay means. Did not inform me of major construction next door .

Wonderful Paradise ! It is a charming resort. Good location away from the noise but close enough to the action. A little Oase with tropical garden. I have stayed in this hotel several times. Every time has been a very pleasant stayed. Great room, It has a large comfortable bed and is cleaned daily. Many TV channels. The air conditioning works perfectly. Best bathroom and shower area I had in Thailand. You receive new towels and 2 bottles of water per person per day. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. Pool towels are provided. The staff is friendly. Jim, the owner, is very friendly and will help you with anything you need. Would definitely recommend it! Can’t wait to stay here again

THE place for gay visitors to Pattaya

Baan Souy is the perfect base for any gay traveler visiting Thailand. It is truly an oasis of luxury. The gardens, pool and rooms are perfectly maintained. No detail seems to be forgotten. The bar is fun (cute bartenders!), and the restaurant has excellent food. When you want to explore the area, Baan Souy is conveniently located just off the main road between Jomtien and Pattaya beaches and all the venues of both. One can take a “baht bus” (the principal means of transport around Pattaya) or a very inexpensive taxi ride to EVERYTHING quickly. Plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and even grocery stores are nearby. Jim and Gordon take care of their guests here as if they are friends. I’ve stayed here many times over the years. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Amazing holiday

Lovely place. Great staff. Rooms are super clean and air conditioned. Hot water always hot. Pool just right. Very quiet but thats what its charm is. Thanks for a lovely holiday. And definitely will be back.

Lovely oasis escape

Lovely and beautifully maintained oasis to escape the brashness that can be Pattaya. Perfectly situated between the city and Jontien. Pleasant staff and nothing is too much trouble. Great pool and bar. Nice breakfast room and restaurant on site.

Great hotel,centrally located

Been here numerous times and am still impressed. I originally booked for five nights,and after thinking about it I knew I would extend my stay, so I booked an additional four nights.

Rude staff and dirty hotel

A real oasis

Baan Souy was excellent in every way - staff, spacious room, facilities, food. The inner courtyard had the large pool, plenty of lounge chairs, a discreet bar, and attentive staff. A real pleasure and very highly recommended. We hope to spend a month there sometime in the near future.

Lovely Hotel

Very welcoming staff, could not do enough to help you and the cleaning staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was good and you were able to have meals by the pool, in your room or on your balcony. Jim and Gordon, the proprietors were very knowledgable and are on hand to give advice on the area, places to visit etc. The pool was very clean and a nice size, there are plenty of sunbeds around the pool which are very comfortable having thick cushions on them. The area is very quiet and is situated between the City and Jomtein beach. Baht buses run in either direction from the top of the road which only cost 10 bahts per person. The whole place was very clean and very well maintained. Jim is very hands on, making sure everything is just so.

Stay was good. Ban Souy is a hidden gem in the busel oh Pattaya. Air pollution was bad due to too many tour buses. Probrally my last visit to Pattaya. Noel was ok though.

An enclave of quiet, civilized relaxation.

The hotel is close to downtown and close to Jomtien beach, but remains apart from their somewhat grubby ethos. It is superbly well-run; it's very comfortable (love the poolside rooms in particular;) and the landscaping is beautiful. The pool is superb. Will return asap!

Immaculate Oasis away from the madness of Pattaya

We stayed at the Baan Souy for 5 nights, the hotel is immaculate and the staff super friendly and helpful, it's very hard to fault this hotel, we really enjoyed our time there. The only down side from our point of view, they do point out that it's an adult only hotel, we thought this would be great with no kids running around and there weren't any, but we later learnt that this hotel is number 2 of the Top Gay Resorts to stay in, to be honest this didn't worry us at all but it may make some people feel uncomfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area between the 2 beaches and only has a couple of restaurants nearby, but the food in the cafe in the hotel is actually very good. We paid $95 a night for a 1 Bed apartment and thought it was good value for money, studio rooms by the pool were cheaper.

Good stay but could be better

Good hotel to be in, but slightly far from the beach. The reception was helpful but not when we asked her for directions to go to the coach station. Some private party going on when we were there. Just wondering how this would affect guests who wanted an early night, as the party ended at about 2am. Some house lizard droppings spotted in our room.

Baan Souy is a new resort located on the road to Joientiem Beach. Wonderful resort with suites surrounding the pool.

Incredible pool side suites....

I was very much pleased with the Baan Souy Resort. Upon walking into the beautiful lobby we were graciously greeted and our luggage taken to our pool side suites. The restaurant staff was superb with meal service and great strong coffee for that morning wakeup... Knowing and being known by the staff made it like old home week. I will definitely come back the hotel again for another great 10 vacation...

Faultless

This resort comes highly recommended. We stayed here for 10 days; the resort , service, accommodation and all related facilities were exceptional.

A wonderful place to stay.

I've just returned from an eight night stay at the Baan Souy Resort. I found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Although arriving at the hotel at 11am I was able to check in straight away. My room was on the ground floor overlooking thew pool. It was very spacious with a large bathroom and walk-in wardrobe and large comfy bed. Complimentary bottles of water each day was a very nice touch. The room was kept spotlessly clean each day. The Hotel is located between Pattaya and Jomtien Beach. The 'Baht bus' takes you to either for just 10bht!! The Pool and Garden areas are so relaxing, a couple of days i didn't leave the hotel until the evening! My return flight was not until the evening. Carlos, the assistant manager arranged a late check-out at 4pm which was so appreciated! An excellent hotel with wonderful caring staff. Thank you, I will be back!

Good place to relax with no children

Great quite and relaxing hotel with no children . Nice big swimming pool and you can swim late at night - that's why i booked here . Also a very good gym . The only thing that i found was the bed to be very hard and the pillows to be awful . Needs new bedding but other then that good adults hotel . Nice large rooms .

施設の真ん中にプールがあり、夜の照明が綺麗だった。フロントの対応もよかった。部屋は広く清潔。シャワーヘッドが劣化していて外れてしまったが、すぐに新しいのと取り替えてくれた。朝食もプールサイドで食べれたのでよかった。

Kleine Oase in Pattaya

Es war unser 2. Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Hotel in Pattaya und wir waren erneut begeistert. Optimal für Ruhesuchende. Der Pool ist umgeben von tropischem Grün, ausreichend gemütliche Liegen sind vorhanden. Wenn auch vorwiegend von alleinreisenden Männern gebucht, ist man hier auch als Heteropaar herzlich Willkommen und fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Zimmer sind enorm groß, mit großen Bett, Schrank, Couch und Küche ausgestattet, das angeschlossene Duschbad ist ebenso großzügig gestaltet. Das thailändische Essen ist hervorragend und die Bar sowie der Roomservice fast durchgehend geöffnet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man in 5 Min. in der Innenstadt oder am Strand.

Dejligt sted med smukke omgivelser.Lydisolerede værelser.Lidt hårde senge som alle andre steder i Thailand.Ligger lidt væk fra al balladen og stranden,men tag minibussen. Det tager 5min. og koster 2 kroner.Mest et hotel med homoseksuelle, men ingen problem alle føler sig velkomne.
