Was there for 30 minutes and left Lay down on the bed and it was so hard and my body started hitching So I left horrible place

I would not stay here again. The receptionist came late at night around 9:30 and bang on the door and scared us. She had forgot to ask for my id the she said it was policy to kept my driver license until check out. Then we got lock in the room the maintenance guy had to remove the lock. It was super noise and got no sleep what so ever. Don’t stay here is not safe lots of homeless around and it’s not well lit.

This is a unique little hotel with large rooms, a restaurant on site, and a very friendly staff. At its price point it is a far nicer experience than others I have stayed in. Thanks

Affordable price. Female staff who answered my call refused to respect the 1-8 pm window for check in. Stated my room would be given to someone else if I did not arrive at 6 pm.

Very convenient for every weekend travelers looking for a good deal. Location cleaningness is not the best as many homeless surround the outside areas but very safe inside the premisses. Staff is also accommodating and friendly.

I do not plan to stay there again. Before the rooms had fridges and microwaves-now neither of them. Also rooms have no chairs for a client to sit down & enjoy a meal while enjoying his or her vacation.

Its a cheap clean hotel to crash. Nothing phenomenal, the area is not to hang out in, they got good tacos down the street and is close to markets and many shops. Cant beat the price.

Unsanitary disgusting Hotel

This place is horrible and unsanitary...old and stained mattress with bed bugs. They don't sweep or mop the floors hairs, dirt and old stains every where. And let's not talked about the bathroom. Very dirty the shower clogged with hairs in it. I've never experienced nothing like this. This place needs to shut down immediately is unsanitary. The service when we you checked in very poor, girl on her phone not paying attention of what she was doing. She couldn't find my reservation plus she was getting frustrated. Waited for a good 20 minutes in there i was getting frustrated too after 16 hr drive i just wanted to rest. In the morning when I checked out i asked for a manager and the guy from front desk asked what was wrong. I explained him the situation and never did eye contact with me or said im sorry. He just stood quiet. Please be very careful with this Hotel.

tuve una experiencia muy mala en todos los aspectos . pienso que HOTELS ONE no deberia patrocinar esta clase de negocios porque los hace quedar mal. El servicio esta pesimo, lo cuartos estan sucios y viejos, necesitan renovarlos de vez en cuando y el lugar esta en un area peligrosa. No vuelvo.

Horrible service i reserve in advance on expedia ..front counter employee never find my reservacion and charge me 16 dlls extra over the price i get from expedia..AC is not workimg, TV is not working ...overall horrible experience ..

Good location, near the Civic Center and central bus terminal. Summer heat in Mexicali is brutal, but the hotel's air conditioning was fine.

Be sure to bring a spare ID to leave as collateral for the keys, and remotes. Stay was pleasant for the price.

It’s a 2-Star hotel – motel, the rooms are outdated but ok clean and have a comfortable bed. Some rooms have heating and AC. No elevator and some rooms are on 2rd floor. Parking is right outside your room. Es un hotel de 2 estrellas, motel, las habitaciones son anticuadas, pero están limpias y tienen una cama cómoda. Algunas habitaciones tienen calefacción y aire acondicionado. No hay ascensor y algunas habitaciones están en el 2º piso. El estacionamiento está justo afuera de su habitación.

It raised the price of the room, So should have better facilities, our room didn't have remote control for the tv... No breakfast included.. We used to stay there because of the price but we are thinking to change that. For that price you can stay in a better place.

Convenient location (just a few blocks from the bus terminal), clean, quiet room, not expensive. The food in the hotel restaurant was good. However, the parking lot is a bit cramped.

I was refused a second night at check in... And given little explaination other than an ugly look... even though I could have booked more nights...

Didn't like anything. They don't have an ice machine. You have to leave your ID when you are in your room. You literally have the train in the back yard, every morning the train will go by and sound the horn at 8am.

This is my third time staying here. It’s ok for the price of course. They do offer free breakfast which is outstandingly delicious. It is not far from other stores. They have carts on the weekends that set up around the corner from the hotel and sell tacos, birria, borrego, and other dishes.

VERY NICE ROOMS every time we go we always stay there highly recommend it if you want something cheap and decent this is the place for you. Everything WORKS staff are on top of things.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we would definitely come here again. The building is old but other than that rooms are clean always parking available and the staff is very helpful attentive on all your needs. They also provide free breakfast for each day that you stay. For us it was perfect good price and we didn't plan on spending so much time in the room all we needed was a place to sleep shower and enjoy family and friends. Overall a great place to stay i highly recommend it, just keep in mind you get what you pay for don't expect luxury!!

Was pleasantly surprised with the room, better than I expected. Check-in could’ve been better, a more friendly welcome. I was also asked to leave my drivers license with them and that whenever i wanted it back I had to give them the room key in exchange, was not very comfortable with this from the very beginning but I complied thinking I had no other choice but decided to go back a few moments later to see if there was other options. I was told I could either leave a deposit or someone else’s ID, would’ve been nice if I was told this from the very beginning so I ended up leaving a deposit and a copy of my ID. Was given room key but no guidance as to where the room was actually located. Bad location for the hotel mainly during the week because a train passses by around 4:30 in the morning right next to the hotel sounding off the horn loudly for quite a while. I will say my favorite part of my stay was probably the complimentary breakfast, your given options of actual meals that are pretty delicious.

Do not stay there

The water smells like sewage. No locks. Very old a/c that smells like urine. Low quality TV image with very few channels. Area looks unsafe. Breakfast is good but questionable cleanliness. I will never stay at this place again nor will recommend. Unfortunately there was nothing else available near by.

Looking for a hotel found this place, very clean friendly staff and noh a couple of miles from the border, not a 5 starts but good for a couple of nights, not to mention good food in their restaurant.

Key problem

I like all but the only thing i don't like it's when they going to give you the room keys and I have to leave persinal ID. With them or I don't get the key. I hate that it personal

Room was clean but carpet was really dirty, left my socks black almost. They have a restaurant on site. Food was great. Will come back.

It's an old hotel that needs serious updating. Air conditioner had just one setting. TV worked so so. I think it is a hotel that caters to "ladies of the night" and their clients.

Cold AC

The AC stays cold . They just recently renovated some rooms. Staff is cool , a little standoffish at times but he'll help you out . Being close to the border there is no cell phone reception that far in. Wifi is always spotty---- They really need to fix that --- please fix the wifi !!!

Been there done that

Have stayed here about 20 times. Cheap , easy, wifi is always down . Okay location . Staff is friendly . Also when you stay for a day they give you a complimentary meal from prix fixe menu . It's cool . Just make sure you book a day ahead to avoid problems

Cheap hotel , easy in and out

This is a MOTEL converted into a hotel . What does that mean ? It means they rent rooms by the house and for the whole day/night. How does that affect you as a guest ? 1. Lots of traffic. Meaning at night there are lots of cars , usually it's booked to max occupancy , noise, music. 2. Security- considering the traffic, security is practically non existent. 3. No amenities. Just 2 towels 2 soaps and 1 shampoo . 4. Utilities are not very updated. I stay here all the time . I've stayed here about 15 times. Staff is chill. Front desk posses as a small mini market , some sundries. Go there so you won't stay with your relatives. The ACS blast cold air. Thanks for that . Also the Internet is spotty at best. It's really bad .

March 19 trip

We had a terrible experience..it started with hotel not finding our reservation. Then with the hotel new policy requesting that we leave our official ID ( have they heard of identity theft?)...then the payment was applied 2x to one of the two rooms. Since the other room did not show payment.. The hotel policy was to enter our room and remove our belongings. We did not know that a mistake had been done .. So we opened the room and was alarmed.. We thought someone had broken in.. We went to the office and they realized a mistake had been done. It could have been a dangerous situation if they would have rented room and we entered with our key.. No real apology .. Will never come here again ...

This is a dive hotel. It's more of a motel feel. You stay here if you want to save money that is the only reason. The reception office has snacks you can purchase - it's open 24hrs. The rooms are small . The carpets are very dirty . But the staff is kind . Nubia in particular is very eager to help . She is always so nice. Save some money and stay here

Hotel front desk is nice . Wifi is non existent. Location is not so good. Locale is open and there is no security . Lots of traffic at this location

the ad says free breakfast but it doesnt say only two persons i had to pay for my kids breakfast.

Mostly remodeled rooms were a good surprise, considering the outside was not so attractive. Very clean too!

This is a MOTEL...posing as a hotel.

This is a motel posing as a hotel. The rooms are extremely small, They smell, the beds are old and small. This is a place where people come to do the deed and party. Although there is nothing wrong with that - if you're looking to stay at a place that's clean quiet and secure DO NOT choose this place you're better off staying at the Hotel Colonial in Mexicali. It's literally 2 streets over. This is an ADULTS only type of residence. If you decide to stay here just expect people drinking in the parking lot- a lot people with their doors open , drinking and smoking, and loud noises all night long. There is no security guarding the property. Parking is terrible. There is literally no space. And the worst thing of all They require and HOLD an original form of identification once you take the key.
