breakfast buffet was great one day but the next was very minimalistic!!
Nice hotel, good service, no ac but they do have fans you can request. Room was big and comfortable. There was construction being done on the road next to the hotel wich it made it noisy and because of the metal bridges and panels it was very noisy at night aswell. Overall good hotel for the price.
Good service, affordable price.
Very good hotel. Comfortable and clean. Thank you!
The front desk staff were great and so helpful. Katrin and Brigit were so friendly.
The rooms are more like apartments they are so big. All very well kept and clean.
Great place for a base.
If you want luxury, this is not for you. If you want amazing views of attractions from your window, this it not for you. If however you want a clean, comfortable bedroom with shower and a place to have a meal and use as a base very close to the city centre, THIS IS FOR YOU. The hotel have a modern feeling restaurant and reception area, the rooms and hallways however are looking a bit dated but we'll maintained and we'll kept. Best way I can describe it is a modern looking budget hotel with 80s / 90s decor. U bahn 5 mins walk, tram 5 minute walk, Castle 2 minutes walk. It's a bargain of a hotel. The only real complain I have is lack of air-conditioning. I can imagine it be really warm mid summer.
location very good, hotelvery clean.easy to get to any part of the old city. did not like hotel manager attitude,
The hotels location is its main selling point. Close to old town and castle. The rooms were a good size. Beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. The staff were pleasant and professional. Amenities were closed due to covid which isnt the hotels fault. Good value for money. The hotel is dated in terms of furnishings and decor but overall would recommend this hotel for a short break in lovely Nuremberg.
very nice located. walkable distances . it was ok but it was not my favorite
Nice hotel
The room was good, quite big with a comfortable bed and a convenient desk that I used for my laptop. The staff were nice and agreed to let me check in a bit earlier. The breakfast was alright, I would have preferred more healthy options such as a larger variety of fruit and vegetables and whole wheat pastry options. The hotel is located is a pretty and quite neighborhood about 15 minutes walk from the city center. A few cafes and restaurants around but not that many options as would be in the center.
Hit or miss staff - bathrooms not very clean
I stayed there twice. The first day check-in was fast. The lady at the counter asked me if I'd been there before (I had) and pulled my info from the system. A week later I returned to the hotel on my return trip and another clerk asked me to fill in all of my details... again... I told her I'd been there before and my info was in the system and she became snippy. The room wasn't super clean on either occasions of my stay. The beds were fine but there were hairs (short - don't want to know where they came from) on the bathroom floor still. Unfortunately not very clean.
Booked a queen bed only to be told only single beds in all of hotel receptionist very rude thanking we were English
We arrived early thinking to just check our bags in & leave. What a surprise the attendant found an upgraded room and let us in!!! We were able to enjoy our morning & afternoon close to great restaurants and museums within walking distance. Very good location and great staff!!!
A real nasty manager
It was very hot in , no AC. Has balcony if you are above people smoking below the smoke comes in. No internet working. The tv did not work with poping or skipping noises. There is parking in their garage there but does not say that there is a charge until you cant get out until you pay 10e.The token they give you is a quarter inch washer to use at the gate.Hint hint..Tried to get something back on credit card from front desk for problems and the old lady manager got an attitude and would not do anything and then charged me 10 for parking. Nice people.
Well-located to the heart of Nuremberg's city center and within easy walking distance of an U-Bahn subway station, this hotel is very conveniently situated for both the business and leisure traveler. The rooms are very clean and well-kept.
"Free WiFi" is deceiving
I recently stayed at the Azimut in Nuremberg. The location is great. I stayed in the summer and the rooms were HOT and no air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open, which was fine but the street noise and/or children at breakfast wake up any late risers. Breakfast was good, the room was a nice size and clean but the shower was completely clogged up. The largest complaint is they advertise "free wifi" but within 1/2 hour of doing some work it cut me off and said I reached my limit and would have to pay 7 euro. Apparently the law states if they offer 600 mb of service they could advertise "free wifi" but I was not doing anything out of the ordinary or watching videos, I was simply answering emails when it cut me off. I refused to pay the 7 euros out of principal.
Outdated but comfortable. Excellent breakfast offerings, but rooms were not well insulated from sound. Safe and close to Ubahn station.
Decent Hotel with Decent Location,
Nice hotel within (twenty to thirty minutes) walking distance of the old (fortress) city and the Christmas market. Room was spacious and clean, and even included a balcony facing the interior "hof." The hotel appears to have been created from a former apartment complex building. Only minor recommendation I have is for the hotel to improve the lighting in the room. I would certainly consider staying there again the next time I am in Nuremberg.
Comfortable hotel for an Old City visit
Comfortable hotel in an attractive neighborhood near the edge of the Old City. It is relatively easy to walk into the Old City, although it includes a rather large hill. Parking garage has an extra charge for parking. Hotel is located near subway station and tram line for other transportation options. Did not try breakfast, as it was an extra charge. There are several local restaurants within easy walking distance.
Good-sized pleasant twin room if a little gloomy without all the lights turned on! Well located hotel with a short walk via the Castle to the Old Town and Christmas market. There is a restaurant with limited choice for evening meals but no other places to eat close by. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
NICE HOTEL FRENDLEY STAFF NICE AND CLEAN, CLOSE TO TOWN
Everything is perfect. I liked it very much. Specially, breakfast.
Nice hotel close to the city. Staff were friendly, room was clean and in good condition, perfect for a weekend away.
A nice comfortable hotel close to Nuremberg Castle. We found it a little too far from the Old Square - it took us around half an hour to walk there from the hotel, and we would have preferred to have been closer. The Old Square is where all the bars and restaurants are situated. There are one or two restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. In the evening we usually drank in the hotel bar. We did find one bar which was approximately a ten minute walk away, near the castle - this is Hexenhaeusle (The Witch's House). A very pleasant bar which also serves food. However we went on a Friday night and they closed just after 10.00pm. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. We requested a room with a balcony as not every room has a balcony/patio. The bathroom had a lovely power shower. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you don't mind being a little out of town.
Good clean room
Found senior female receptionist rather rude. I also experienced her talking rudely to another customer. Room was quite spacious and bathroom was kept very clean.
It was a very good and clean hotel. But the rooms on the backyard are sometimes very noisy in the night.
The hotel staff wasn’t that friendly even though the hotel itself was pretty decent.
The lady at the front desk (sorry I didn't remember her name) was very helpful and accommodating!!
Azimut Hotel, Nuremberg
The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Only downside was the pancake-like flat pillows! The room decor was quite dated, but we thought it was charming. Located just a couple of streets away from the U Station (Underground Train), which was very handy for getting around. We only stayed one night as the purpose for visiting Nuremberg was a comic con 15 mins taxi ride away. We were able to use the free luggage room to store our bags while we went to the comic con at Stadthalle Furth. This was very helpful, as we didn't want to carry our bags around when meeting guests! On the second day, we took the train (walked to the U Station) to the Old Town - it's a must-see. Overall, the Azimut Hotel was great for what we needed. Although the hotel and room were comfy, etc, we had a few bad experiences with one staff member (we came across three). She was very rude, unhelpful and not interested. She was an old, blonde woman. She snapped at us when we asked where a road was, saying ‘I don’t know! I’ve never heard of it!’. Wow. Great service! The younger, brunette lady and man were friendly. The man gave us a very good recommendation for a restaurant. It was an Italian place called La Nuova Osteria. We hoped to go to a German Restaurant, but were so hungry after flying out very early that morning and then being at the comic con all day. We went to La Nuova Osteria at about 9pm, and it was bustling! We would stay at the Azimut Hotel again.
Great value.
Location good, cleanliness excellent and value for money superb.
Great location, great service, great comfortable. I will return in next trip
Basic hotel. A bit old but ok value for money. Staff were nice.
Awesome hotel! Enjoyed the stay here very much. Very close to the old city. Great helpful staff. Great breakfast as well.

RECEPTIONIST UNABLE MUTI WORK No AC, ROOM BIG ENOUGH IF YOU LIVE ON THE FOUR FLOOR YOU HAVE TO CHANGE TO THE DIFFERENT ELEAVATOR
Spacious rooms and good location
Good sized room, clean, great location--walking distance to Nuremberg Castle.
Basic hotel near city wal
Hotel is basic, but good value. Within easy walking distance of old town and Christmas market. Staff was accomidating allowing us to check in early and park our car. Secure garage parking with plenty of space. Breakfast is €10 per person, but has good variety. Room was clean on the surface, but when we were trying to find an outlet to plug in a phone charger (lack of outlets in the room) we looked under the bed and were disgusted with how filthy it was. Despite that I would still recommend this hotel due to the location and price. Wifi was free, but incredibly slow.
Hotel is clean and well presented if a little outdated decor wise. Staff were pleasant and helpful. In a quiet area of town which ensures a good nights sleep. The hotel is at the top end of the main city centre which involves a 20/25 minute walk to the main train station (Nuremberg Hbf) . Good hotel. Would stay here again.
We stayed in the summer good location
Stay was good no complaints would stay here again within walking distance to the town centre easy access to and from airport and main train station
Cold staff and sparse rooms. Limited Wi-Fi
Great location but staff were unwelcoming. Overall a disappointing stay. Wi-Fi is limited. Something we weren't made aware of when booking, limited to 600mb then we had to pay. Bar was overpriced and cold. Room not properly cleaned.
Near to the centre of the city. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English.
On arrival receptionist was not friendly. It’s seens she didn’t wanted to be there!. Once in my room internet didn’t work so went back down to reception ask if she’s put in the wrong details after waiting for over 10mins still not very helpful what so ever. I had some import work emails to sort out had to walk to the town to get wire fi. ended up asking someone else in the hotel for their room number and name for the wifi and it worked. So I assume she’s type in the wrong details and didn’t own up to it and kept me waiting. Bad customer services.
Excellent location and lovely room
4 minutes walk from metro stop. And then just minutes walk from the castle area. Nuremburg old town is small and easily walked. We bought a metro day pass from the airport for 7E each which we could use for 24 hours, but really didn't need metro for just exploring the old town. We were there in the Autumn and the colours of the trees was amazing, and I cannot describe in words how beautiful Nuremburg was. We were extremely lucky with the weather as it was warm 20 degrees (16 Oct) and warm and mild enough to sit outside in the squares even at night. An excellent place for beer, sausages, museums etc. The river was beautiful with the most gorgeous buildings everywhere. So many photos. If you like walking or cycling it is lovely along the river. Fridge, hair dryer, hot water, tv, comfy bed. Large room with free biscuits on our pillows and free bottle of water when we arrived. We even had a little closed in balcony. No breakfast, but we ate in little cafes. Be warned that shops are closed on a Sunday - so buy water in the next door supermarket the day before. (There is also no market stalls on a Sunday) Hotel reception staff were nice and helpful. They let us use free safety box in reception. We did not use the sauna as we had hot weather.
Great for convenience and price!
The room, though small, was all we needed before our flight the next day! Convenience included proximity to airport, fuel station nearby and the cost was very reasonable! Only problem was that there wasn't a restaurant. Free breakfast was great!
Nice Hotel, but disappointed with sauna issues
The hotel was overall nice, however I was very disappointed to find out after checking in that the sauna was out of service, I believe that should have been information should have been made available while while booking the room and not misrepresented, thereby giving me the opportunity to book a different hotel that had an operational facility that would have been nice after a long day of walking around Nuremberg.
Convenient to train station. Easy access to reach the city
Convenient and well located
My wife and I stopped for one night a the Azimut on our way to Kassel. The Hotel is well located and the staff it nice and friendly
yes we enjoyed our stay it was most pleasant and the hotel is very convenient to the city
Nice hotel near to the city center
The check-in was slow because of the uninterested staff at the reception. The room was spacious and the breakfast was okay. There was some stuff in the room, which could be repaired. The internet connection was very slow.
I would definately stay again
If i ever come back to Nuremberg I wil ltry to stay here again. 200 meters from the U-Bahn station, it takes only about 20 mins or so to get to the hotel fro mthe airport. Nice quiet residential area but a 5 min walk fro mthe old town. Clean rooms, helpful staff at the desk, reasonable price, ticks all the boxes.
Would not stay again
Aweful wifi, in fact the second day we had none. Front desk crew not very curious, restaraunt had many options that were run out both days. Breakfast pretty good. Free street parking
Clean and adequately comfortable bed
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The twin room stayed for 2 nights was very spacious and comfortable, not a shoe box at all. It has a belcony, a proper desk, coffee table, arm chair and a mini bar. Very good selection of breakfast and the dining area is family friendly. A short walk (6 or 7 mins) to the underground to get the subway. The cleaner was keen to clean the room at 10.30am on the day i was checking out (checked out time 11) but was apologetic. Get only 600MB on the free wifi (additional data for 7 euro for 24hr). About right for the price paid.
Great location
Overall it was good, but unfortunately the room had no air conditioning.
Just DON'T do it!! Book elsewhere!!!
Absolutely HORRIBLE! I rarely ever write reviews...I think I've written three in all. But I am so angry by my experience at this hotel, that I felt compelled to write. This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. To be honest, I'm utterly shocked that it has a 3-star rating. It's a 2-star AT BEST. I'm not sure why there are so many nice reviews here. But please take the time to really read all the reviews...you'll see a disturbing pattern emerging. If I can convince even ONE person to book elsewhere, then I know I would've done society a favor. 1) FILTHY ROOMS - it's painfully obvious that the housekeepers just make the bed and change the towels (if you put them on the floor). In addition, and most disturbing, the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned after guests checkout. We found cigarette butts in the ashtray, urine stains on the toilet, dirty water stains on the faucet, hair on the floor, some weird brown stain on the soap dispenser, etc. 2) MISLEADING INFO ON WEBSITE - this is a tourist trap. The "Junior Suite" has a balcony without furniture (so you can't really enjoy sitting outside), a kitchenette that's locked (we were accused of "simply assuming" we would have access to our kitchenette without "pre-arranging it first with the hotel" and is nowhere near the size advertised (over 47.5 sq m). 3) EXTREMELY SLOW FREE INTERNET - the free internet is unusable. Must pay 7€ per day for high speed. 4) No a/c, uncomfortable beds, rude staff! WE LEFT 2 NIGHTS EARLY!!
Very good hotel, clean and comfortable. Block out curtains would be helpful and also a new showerhead would be nice.
Better than expected
Excellent couldn't have asked for more other than Tea & Coffee facility within room. Would be staying again and maybe taking my own kettle!
Lovely Stay
Very nice hotel, short walk to the old town but some hills involved and easy walking distance to the train station. No tea or coffee facilities in the room but otherwise a very plesant stay.
Comfortable hotel
Everything is good. There is only 600 Mb limit on the internet usage daily. Well, I watched couple of high quality youtube clip and it finished fast.
Great hotel, good food, friendly staff. Area is quiet, I could sleep even when I started at 7 AM. Hotel has a select few smoking rooms (general policy is non-smoking throughout the hotel and most rooms) and overall amazing service. Only downside is that parking was a little bit tough, come early if you arrive on a business day as you share a parking space with the people living in that street.
Close to U Bahn. Perfect for sight seeing
Only thing missing was a kettle and tea/coffee facilities. Requested a kettle and bought our own items.
Great location for the old town
Only 5 minutes walk from the old town, this was a great find and a very reasonable price. The room was spotless, had everything you might need (sewing kit, shoe polish, toothpaste...) except for a kettle and hot drinks. The double bed was of the split german style with two separate duvets, but was very comfy. The pillows were a waste of time and practically flat. We didn't have breakfast, preferring to eat out. The staff at reception ranged from entirely miserable and unfriendly to officious and borderline ignorant. We could put up with that because we spent most of the time out. However, two major things were disappointing. The hotel advertises free WiFi which was what drew us here. It didn't work in the room (second floor) nor in the reception where it was supposed to be superfast. The lady on reception said she thought it was a faulty router because other guests had also complained. The duty manager was not on site until 8am the next day and she could offer no solution. The other major factor in choosing this hotel was the hotel bar. We walk for miles in the day and like to enjoy a glass of the local beer or wine to relax back at our hotel. Despite signs in the lift saying that the bar is open until 12 midnight every night with a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, on 2 out of three nights, it was shut. There are no local bars unless you walk back into the town so this was very disappointing and no explanation was given.
My friend and I thought it was gorgeous and that the room was very spacious. The hotel was near the U which was great!
Great Hotel
This is a wonderful hotel. It is located in a quiet pretty safe residential area right behind the Palace and the walls of the old city. It is about a 12 minute walk to the old city. And there is a U Bahn srop right down the street. The workers there were so friendly. They had an amazing delicious free breakfast every day. I adored that right next door to the hotel was a large Bio Health Foods Supermarket with a great cafe attached. They had a great assortment of foods. Down on the corner across from the U Bahn is a delicious coffee and pastry place called Karl Bach. This is a wonderful place to stay.
Would recommend this hotel
Great stay .Efficient service and very helpful staff. Value for money. Great location
Great hotel with easy access to whatever you desir
Great location with convenient access to tourist historic sites, a variety of restaurants & shopping
Good hotel
Close to some of the sights in Nuremberg, close to the subway, friendly staff, and private parking.
Close to market and restaurants.
Roomy,,balcony looked out on courtyard. Helpful staff. We walked to lots of places. Subway was near.
Worth the stay
Stayed two nights. Great location to walk to Old Town or catch UBan to other areas. Room has a fridge so you have some meals on your own. Parking available on street if you're lucky, or in underground garage for a fee. Grocery stores and other shopping all in walking distance. No air conditioning but window and balcony. We had to close ours as others were up late smoking on their balcony and we are bothered by smoke. Stuffy in our room as a result. But great walking distance to Old Town and helpful staff.
Good stay
Good stay
Ok in a pinch
Last minute business travel that coincided with a convention and vacancy extremely limited in Nuremberg. The staff was great; efficient at check in, knowledgable, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was fine. The room and wifi were not as good. I did discovered stiff socks hung over the heat exchanger that a previous guest had probably rinsed and was trying dry. The bedding was a base sheet with a comforter folded on top waiting for me unfold. The bed was uncomfortable. Most challenging for me was the wifi: connection was poor and very slow. I never was able to get my laptop to connect, only my phone. Very difficult to work form the room or surf web. I'm thankful for the shelter but I would only book again as a last resort.
Nice hotel and close to the center.
Hotel saffet Was nice, The place of the hotel Was safe and it Was 10 minutes far form the centre bu Walking.
Good Hotel
We only stayed for one night but it was a nice hotel and located a close walk to the Nuremberg Castle.
priceworthy
excelent location. fine rooms, quiet. bar and restaurant resonable. easy acess
Very close to castle and downtown Nuremburg.
Only complaint is no air conditioning which I knew before hand.
Great hotel
Great hotel clean and comfortable with a terrific restaurant
german trip
nice staying, great location close to the city-center
Good hotel but could be improved
Hotel was OK, but no free WiFi which is a must have nowadays. No bedroom safe and the bar area is not open during the day for meetings or coffee etc. Reception can get very crowded during check-out because of its size. More of a tourist hotel than one for the business user. The location is not in the centre of the town and not close to the underground so a taxi is usually required for any venture out.
best and cheap hotel
it is a best hotel to stay near nuremberg city..very convenient for site seeing
Big rooms
NIce hotel for a weekend stay, very big rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast with a nice selection. It's probably about a 15 minute walk to the main center.
Clayton - SGOMP GRP
To begin Nuremberg as a city for history is beyond compare once you get downtown with Rich European Culture. AZIMUT hotel is old - parking is 10 euros per day - internet is 10 euros per day - elevator is the size of a telephone booth. There is almost no room to park and unload your luggage at the front lobby. It takes 30 minutes to get out of town, unless you have a garmin with a European Map - you will not find this place - unless you have been there before as this is buried in the city. Front desk people were nice and multi-language for German and English. To me if you need a room for a couple days by-yourself - it might a work - but a family - it is a tough fit for a variety of reasons explained.
A tired hotel
Reception was hit or miss. The person at the desk when we arrived seemed put out by the fact we were there. No airconditioning in rooms. Clean but tired. Rooms need to be updated (new furniture, carpet, colors, etc.). No free wifi in room. Didn't take the expensive breakfast. But the breakfast room had a sticky, dirty look to it. Won't stay there again.
just outside the town walls
A short walk to the old town wall, through that and you are in the Altstadt. We were lucky to be able to park opposite the front door for free. Two lifts and a fair walk to reach the fourth floor, which was interesting. Enclosed balcony with view of castle. Sumptuous continental breakfast. Nice big room, but why do some hotels charge for a bottle of water?

房間舒適,但是沒有WiFi
convient to airport
I have stayed at Azimut several times in the past. It is clean and serves its purpose for a one night stay before flying out in the early morning. Also, it is only a 10 minute ride by taxi to the airport. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again even longer if I was stay in Nuremberg.
Close to the castle
Simple, convenient hotel. Nothing special, nothing objectionable.
Avoid this Hotel. The staff are terrible.
In summary, I have NEVER encountered such rudeness and refusal to help from hotel staff. (1) I paid in advance for 5 days Internet. On Day 1, it simply didn't work. The hotel receptionist said it was nothing to do with them; I must ring the vendor. The vendor couldn't fix it until Day 2. I asked the receptionist to refund 1 day's charge. She said the hotel couldn't do it; I must ask the vendor. I said that this was unprecedented in my experience. I asked to speak to the manager. The receptionist said, rudely, that the manager would say the same, and then walked away from me, saying she had work to do. The next day, I asked a different receptionist if I could talk to the manager about this. The manager was unavailable that day. The next day, though the manager was at her desk, and I was in the hotel for two hours, the manager was too busy to see me. (2) The night before check-out, I confirmed that I could pay my bill partly in cash. But when I checked out, the receptionist told me, at first, that this was impossible. It was hard work to convince him. I asked him to order a taxi for me while we were talking. He rudely said that I'd have to pay while the taxi waited. Then he rudely told me that the taxi driver would only take cash. I had to go out and ask the driver. Of course, in modern Germany, the driver accepted credit card payment.
Great location 10mins from centre of old town. Only problem is there is no restaurant
Not too bad of a place.
It was okay for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean. I requested two twin beds and got two twin beds together. We were unable to separate the twin beds because of the headboard. The front office staff wasn't too friendly but it was not a big deal considering we stayed for a brief period. The price was good for the location. Can't complain. We parked on the side of the road and didn't have to pay for parking. City center was walking distance. :)
good value for the money and location
overall good, worth the cost per night, nothing fancy but fine for staying close to historic city
Azimut neither the zenith nor the nadir
It was okay. It was clean. It was a hassle getting the suitcases from the underground garage up to the rooms as there is no accessible route. It was a hassle loading the suitcases in the car at street level because there is no place to pull over. The quality of the rooms is akin to a middle-of-the-road Best Western. We were spoiled by great deals in Dresden and Prague, and a bit disappointed that this is what we got in Nuremberg. If it's the only hotel you can get in your price range, it's a decent, clean place, but no way does this get a four or a five after the first-rate hotels we stayed in for the same amount in other German cities.
helpful staff, very quiet location, comfortable overall - 20 min walk to city center train station
Good location
Good location - pleasant walk through castle to Christkindelsmarkt. Additional fee for Internet and breakfast unlike many other hotels of this standard so would probably be able to find better. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Toilet smelt strongly of urine.
Weekend break to visit xmas market
We spent a 3 nights at the hotel while visiting the xmas market December 2013. It was in a great location within 10 mins from the market and main shopping area. Staff were pleasant and willing to answer any questions. we had a great time.
Slightly outside of mitte, yet convenient.
The hotel is conveniently located close to a U-bahn stop. All employees were very helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, the bar/restaurant met our needs, and it was very quiet and restful in the room.
Nuremburg
Amenities and room were fine - overall it was a good value for money location
A good value hotel quite close to the old town.
The location is ok, only about 200 meters from the north gate of the Castle and easy and swift entry into the old town. A disadvantage would be that on your return its a bit of a climb, up a long slope from the town, back onto the main road where the hotel lies. The hotel room is spacious with a satisfactory shower/wc (ours did have a slight smell from the drainage). The bed is comfy although the pillows were too soft for us. (Cant please everyone though). The breakfast costs 10 euros each which when compared to other hotels is very satisfactory; all items were regularly topped up and my only gripe here was that it got very busy weekends and at times there wasn't a lot of room to manouvre. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful, storing our luggage when required as well as helping us checki-in and getting taxis very quickly. The bar is open on a night and although not very atmospheric served drinks at good prices. I was concerned a little after reading so many poor reviews, but felt it was best to give a fair review and on reflection i would definitely use again.
Easy drive to the airport, but also within walking distance to the center of the city. Hotel staff was helpful. If you can find a parking space on the street, it is free parking. I dont recommend spending the extra money for free water (1 small bottle) or free internet (given 1 hour with a slow response time). Just pay for the standard room.
Not a good stay.
The hotel is pretty old and not kept up. The carpets were very dirty and had sticky stuff on it. The blow dryer was broken and so was the water kettle. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. They really need to upgrade that entire hotel. Breakfast was also very expensive. The ladies at the desk were nice and that was the only highlight.
