Terrible

Moved out after one night. Worst hotel I've stayed in. First room they put me in was basically a cupboard with NO WINDOWS. (Apparently most of the rooms are windowless). Got a change of room with a window. Outdated and broken furniture, partially functioning a/c, threadbare towels, no toiletries, broken toilet seat and worst of all stained bedlinen and bedbugs. The communal area was right outside (who thought of this stupid idea?) resulting in unacceptable noise levels from a group of guests late in to the night. When I told them that it was 1am and I was trying to sleep I received a torrent of homophobic and racial (anti-white, yes it is racism) abuse and violent threats. Complained to the receptionist about the other guests but she wasn't interested and basically ignored me. Some money (although only loose change) went missing from my bag when I left my luggage while I waited for them to change my room. Though I can't prove anything, the disappearance of the cash and the threats from the other guests made me feel unsafe. Moved to another hotel and chalking this up to experience.

No hot water and you are charged extra if you bring a guest to your room and no food at all. Only one vending machine. It was clean and in good location.

Terrible and untrustworthy, I would not recommend even if I got a free offer. I arrived at the hotel in the evening , for 3 night stay only to be told that they were overbooked and there is no room for me. AAfter 2 hours of back and forth, beingcsent to 2 partnes property that were much inferior which I rejected, a room was offered and I accepted. To be fair, after I settled, I had a nice stay, room was basic. but clean, staff was nice so was the service. Also the is centrally and conveniently located.

The property was decent however, the rates we got on Expedia were totally different when we arrived at the hotel. We ended up paying about $50 more than advertised.

The area of filled with criminals looking to rob every gringo they can. I recommend hiring pvt security to walk around. One guy offered me a masaje with chica linda with (unusable word) todo right in front of my girl, then called me (another word I can’t use) when I said no. This was right outside the lobby. Everyone selling hats and cigars all offer (white powder, can’t use real word) too, the city is a dump, skip it for Santa Marta.

The place is super well located in a busy street inside the wall of the old city. You feel the vibe of the city the moment you step out. The room is confortable and nice. There is a coffee machine in the common area. You can bring a visitor but the person need to be registered. All in all a good place to stay for a good price in the heart of the city

Traveled Solo to Cartagena for a wedding. Felt safe. It was a little uneasy to find initially. The address in Uber brought me a different place but upon arrival the stay was very convenient. In the center of it all. Would stay again for the location and staff was friendly

For a 2 star hotel, it was a great value to be located in the middle of the walled city. Rooms are basic but the cleaning ataff cleans all day. Plenty of common areas where the wi-fi is decent. Area is loud day and night but that is the lifestyle and vibe of the city every day.

Not the best experience

There were no towels we have to go downstairs and ask for it then we realized that 3 bed sheets were missing as well and we went down stairs again to ask for them. And when we were about to check out they said that 2 towels were missing and we told them absolutely no the 5 towels are in there so we have to wait like 15 mnts until they said it was ok

I have stayed here many times it’s a decent place . They have new ownership and the price has gone up yet little has changed from before. There is a bar downstairs that blast music til 3 am and construction on the street often till late. For the price they are charging there are many other better options with pool or that includes breakfast. But it’s safe and convenient. But shop around this has gotten a bit pricey for a 2 star hotel.

I stay here often when I’m in Cartagena. It’s clean and decent. Good AC, WiFi not bad in most rooms, staff is great. The location is close to everything. Guest friendly. Depending on the room the street noise can be annoying at night.

La instancia en el hotel fue muy buena las habitaciones cómodas buen aire acondicionado, las dos chicas de la recepción muy atentas y siempre dispuestas a ayudar, la zona del hotel está muy bien ubicado, se puede llegar a pie a muchos sitios de interés como torre del reloj, barrio jesemani y muchos más. lo único que puede ser un poco incómodo es que el hotel por su ubicación Serca de restaurantes y bares en la noche se escucha un poco de música pero se puede dormir comodo le doy 9/10.

Reserve 5 habitaciones y cuando llegue y solo me dieron 4, me dijeron que había habido una sobreventa y me mandaron a otro hotel una noche, pero al hotel que me mandaron estaba muy mal. Donde solo pasamos una noche, nos dijeron que al día siguiente podíamos cambiarnos de hotel donde estaban los demás compañeros y al día siguiente llegamos y que no, que no había disponibilidad. Se tuvo que cambiar de hotel. No obstante me cobraron las 5 habitaciones, les enseñé mi reserva y no respetaron el precio que la plataforma me dio, entre todos los trabajadores se lavaban las manos, no hay nadie quien te resuelva, el aseo no lo hicieron diario, pésima experiencia, jamás regresaría.

Buen hotel bien ubicado

Es un buen hotel que respeta bastante bien la relación calidad-precio. El hotel es ordenado, limpio, con una muy buena atención por parte de los encargados de recepción, siempre atentos a colaborar. Tiene una muy buena ubicación para salir caminando a todos los lugares de interés, con restaurantes cerca. Lo único negativo es que está sobre una calle con mucho transito durante las noches y tiene un bar en la planta baja que hace que haya mucha bulla al dormir en la noche
