Good value and location

We enjoyed our stay here. Appreciated the upgrade to a lovely room. Great breakfast buffet and had a nice lunch at the bar. Good value and would return. The employees were very courteous here.

Cost cutting or poor supervision?

Food quality from Room service and Rasa poor compared to last year. Though two of the restaurants are still fantastic. Thermostat kept failing at night. Twice told that someone would get back to me and no one did. Japaenese toilet panel was not working.

A big part of a holiday is the hotel. The staff made you feel special, they cater to your needs, great dining options (I recommend the pulled lamb dish for dinner). We were upgraded to the executive rooms on the 12 floor, they were very comfortable. This propertynhas a valet parking (RP 90.000) and a concierge.

Check in staff were entirely focussed on additional charges which took away from the arrival and check process. After that the staff at the restaurants were excellent and super helpful.

Excellent hotel - staff are the best!

The staff are so friendly. Food is delicious. Rooms are good - the air conditioning is not as strong so be warned the lobby and rooms can be on the warmer side but not uncomfortable. The staff really set this hotel apart from others.

One of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Room incredibly spacious, excellent amenities, lovely spa, amazing breakfast buffet, delicious cafe. The decor of the entire property was also beautiful. Right on top of an MRT station and easy access to a cool food centre (Chillax) and main roads for quick Gojek trips. Highly recommend.

The property was excellent and I will refer others

On eco friendliness--I wanted not to change bedsheets and towels by not laying the card on the bed or not putting the towel on the floor...but, I felt that the bedsheet and towel remain fresh and newly change daily. It was good though but there was no need to.

The hotel is clean and quite, interior design of the hotel is very pleasing to the eye. Guest service is very quick to handle guest request. Our stay has been very pleasant. I will definitly come back and stay at this hotel again in the future.

Beautiful place! Loved it. The staff were so nice and the facilities are awesome. There are BEDS by the pool! Only complaint is I couldn't control the temp in the room. (they did move me to a cooler room which was nice, but I would prefer to be able to change the temp on the AC on my own, especially at night :)

Great hotel but the location is not so accessible as there are no malls connected like the usual big hotels in central Jakarta. Amenities are awesome, breakfast spread was good too.

Excellent hotel

I travel significantly for business and the staff here at Ayana mid plaza made that much more relaxing. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfy and I have no complaints about the cleanliness as it was perfect.

Amazing service and the hotel allowed me to check out at 5 pm. Very convenient location with easy access to Sudirman road and plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from.

This was the first hotel that I stayed at in Jakarta and it was definitely the best. The hotel is modern, clean and beautiful. My room was large and luxurious. What really stands out, however, is the food and service, which was excellent. I felt very well taken care of. The morning breakfast was international and fresh and a great way to start the day. I will definitely be staying here again.

Very helpful staff, and the hotel has improved hugely since it changed its name from Intercontinental. The only small thing is that my room stunk of fish, which is not a great thing for a vegetarian!

Perfect service and amazing property combined with delicious fresh food options make this the perfect hotel in Jakarta for business or leisure. Hot tub by the pool, squash / tennis courts, and a full gym as well. The staff always go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The beds are very comfortable, pillow menu available, and back out curtains that actually block the light. They also have power adapters in room so you can charge your devices no matter where they came from. Booking with Expedia VIP+ also is rewarded at this hotel, very worth it. Have stayed here 4 times now and reccomend it over any hotel in the city of Jakarta. Couldn't be happier with everything every time I visit.

During dinner the hotel decided to close it restaurants for private events. I was suggested to order room service or sit in a smoking area bar... Was later offered to pay 50$ to enter executive lounge since it has some finger food options... overall had to go downtown to get some sort of dinner since the hotel isn't located near many dining options. 2 days the room was cleaned perfectly, but the last 2 nights room would be left uncleaned till 17 or even 18... The hotel claimed they have "upgraded" my room.... same room just 1 floor higher, to this hotel considered an upgrade... I found out I was upgraded only at checkout.. overall it was a great hotel during my first stay hence I came back, but sadly due to my last experience I wouldn't recommend to people to stay there.

Been staying here many times and like all other times, there are no complaints. Good location, comfortable bed and staff performance are great.

Stylish, comfortable hotel in the heart of Jakarta. Only oddity is that to get to the swimming pool you have to walk through the middle of the gym in your bathing costume! A small mall is walking distance away.

Fabulous Hotel in Jakarta

I have stayed at the Ayana several times and it is always a great experience. The bedrooms are large, comfy and clean, and the service is second to none, very personal and attentive. The breakfast is also great with a wide selection of western and asian options. I really like the Blue Terrace restaurant which offers healthy choices. The waiter, Boy is always very welcoming and offers good insight in to the menu options. There's also a lovely pool and gym! I would recommend the Ayana to any traveller to Jakarta!

This property has the greatest staff, comfortable beds, real black out curtains, and amazing on site food options. I have stayed a few times now and have had a perfect experience every time. On top of their already perfect service, it's also a hotel where being a VIP+ member really gets recognized. If you are trying to decide between which hotel to stay at, do yourself a solid and book this one.

Nice hotel. Close to business offices in Sudhirman

For a 5-star hotel, it is a great value for the price paid. The room is comfortable, but it is beginning to show its age. Nonetheless, the bed is super comfy and will provide one with the much needed rest. It is tucked behind the CityWalk which has Starbucks and other restaurants, which makes it easy for you to get your coffee and meal.

Price is good. Location good. Service excellent. Food is good.

Rooms are great and very clean. Sadly the bar is closed so is 1 restaurant so you are quite limited with food choices

Perfect customer service, the staff were extremely attentive to me as a guest, very hospitable and provided personalised service which was exceptional! I will definitely stay at the same hotel if I was to visit Jakarta again.

I've been staying here for a few times now. Room was clean, amenities were decent, got everything needed in the room and spacious too. Staff were all good, professional and polite. Breakfast was good too with many options to chose. Pool was nice with decent size and Gym was also in good size although a bit dated all equipment still works fine. I also appreciate the executive room upgrade from expedia and ayana.

A pleasant stay

Good location only walking distance to sudirman citywalk with a lot of restaurant. There is also several good restaurants in the hotel and there is a 20% coupon when you check in. The service is good, got a free mini bar everyday. The room and bathroom is clean. Overall stay is a pleasantt one. One complaint is that the room temperature cannot go below 20 degree celcius, which i am used to 18 degrees :).

Great Stay

Had an excellent stay last week. Convenient location, good amenities, friendly staff, clean and quiet, and very spacious room. It is not ultra modern but has a classic, luxury feel. Mall (smallish) next door has many food options. Will definitely stay again when i visit next.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel in the most busiest part of Jakarta , the hotel room is quite dated but still very comfortable . The hotel has a nice new kintamani lounge but at the outside you may get mosquitoes bites.

Great value for money

Stayed one night at the Ayana Midplaza and was expecting it to be average, but was positively surprised. Despite being an older hotel it was in good shape and no signs of being run down. Friendly and helpful staff, a good central location, and near to several good restaurants as well.

Nice hotel with great staffs

I stayed here 2 nights for business. Hotel is in the good location. Staff is very nice and friendly. The room is neat and clean. The facility is also nice. The only complaint I have is I went to the restaurant on the 1st night. I had been told that the restaurant will be closed at 10:00 PM but the restaurant said they closed at 9 so a bit confusing.

Great hotel - needs some updating - but still great.

Outstanding Hotel

Best hotel I have stayed at when in Jakarta. The manager is really working to develop a fine hotel experience and his staff are backing him up. Authentic service and consistent attention to detail. The hotel is not too big and has a mid-city location. It offers good Wifi. There are a few food options in the hotel and places to meet and talk business. Plus many eateries and restaurants all within easy walks of hotel. Decor and general ambience is welcoming. The pool area is a pleasant surprise; there is a nice piano bar for an evening drink and in the morning, the buffet breakfast covers a range of regional tastes. Enjoyed the visit - no complaints - whatsoever

Great stay at Ayana, once again!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Ayana hotel. On arrival staff are very welcoming and quick to check me in. My room was clean and comfortable, it quite a large room with a huge bed! I visited to new blue terrace restaurant which offer healthy and interesting meals, it was honestly one of the best meals I have had and the service from the waiter was just perfect. There is also a small gym and a large swimming pool which is perfect to relax. There is also a small shopping centre just five minutes walk from the hotel with a small supermarket. I highly recommend Ayana when staying in Jakarta, even though you are staying in a city, Ayana has a nice resort feel.

Overall good stay. Breakfast had limited Vegetarian options though.

The hotel concierge was very helpful and emailed me straight after booking to ask whether an airport car was needed. I booked a car to pick-up from the airport and a return journey, and it was all very easy to do with the charges being added to the room bill, which was very convenient. Overall a nice hotel, clean and the staff were helpful.

Great hotel with good location

Excellent service and breakfast. Spacious and very clean room, comfortable bed. Shower was a bit small and could use updating. Location was close access to downtown but fairly quiet.

Where everybody knows your name...literally.

An almost surreal experience in that everyone knew my name from the hall porter to random cooks in the breakfast hall. Great view and awesome view of downtown Jakarta and close enough to many malls to enjoy a nice dinner in. Will come back her next time I am in town for work.

Phenomenal service level - highly recommended!

The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. Buffet was excellent, and the hotel was comfortable. However, what really made this hotel stand out was its staff. The level of service was phenomenal. Not only were staff always friendly and smiling, but they always addressed me by name and would follow-up / check-in to see how things were. Case in point, the bartender at the Bacchus Bar (who I met on the first day and who gave me some sightseeing advice/tips) ran into me two days later and asked me if I had checked out the places he recommended and if I had enjoyed them. Needless to say, I was impressed.

Ayana Jakarta - Execellent Hotel.

Great hotel with very good staff. They're all welcoming, friendly and helpful. The local area outside the hotel is a bit different to the actual hotel, but is showcasing the real Jakarta. The rooms were very nice and the beds are comfortable. The only thing I'd say is the carpet was a bit worn and dirty. Room service and the food is delicious! Overall an excellent hotel and I'd stay again for sure! Well done Ayana.

Good hotel, average service

Lack of service attentions especially on main entrance area. The taxi had minor accident due to lack of traffic organizer.

Former Intercontinental but...

I usually stayed at former Intercontinental and it was slightly different from Ayana. Their services were almost same as before but some taste should be changed. I think business people who knew Intercontinental can still feel comfortable.

We think that this hotel is one the most beautiful in our trip and the staff are super profesional we enjoy a lot the hotel , the pool is fantastic ,and great patio with authentic Mexican food and very good price compare with other hotels

ホテルのスタッフの対応は、皆さん優しく丁寧な接客でとても良かったです。 部屋も広く、清潔感もあって基本的には良かったのです。 食事も朝食ビュッフェしかしてませんがとても美味しくて満足でした。 不満点としては、TVの操作性が悪かったことと、ジムがクローズしていて使えずいつ使えるようになるのかも分からなかったので次回行くときにリピートするかが悩ましいです。

Esperienza straordinaria. Camera (Deluxe) al massimo del comfort, completa di tutti gli accessori, con un letto enorme e comodissimo. Personale impeccabile, sempre disponibile e cortese. Ristoranti della struttura molto buoni, se proprio non bastassero ce ne sono di ottimi a brevissima distanza intorno. La colazione migliore che un hotel mi abbia mai messo a disposizione, peraltro. Tornerei a Jakarta solo per soggiornare qui.

以前より洗練された雰囲気

昔と比べると宿泊料金が随時高くなっていて驚いたがマネージメントが変わり、より落ち着いた雰囲気になったように思う。

設備に不備があったため、ルームサービスに来た際お願いしたが、実際改善されることはありませんでした。

設備・サービスともに良いホテル。日本人スタッフもいる。徒歩1分ほどのCity Walkには日本食レストランも多く南ジャカルタが行動の中心になる場合、便利なホテル。B1に24hではないがコンビニもある。
