The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. With only a partial glass curtain for the shower it was difficult to keep water from spraying from the shower onto the floor. The indoor parking was too narrow to navigate so we opted to park outside at the back of the property.

Our room was excellent. The people who work here are amazing, always very helpful and pleasant. The front desk and bar tender were exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel. Had a massage and the lady was great and you can’t beat the price. There is a small grocery store around the corner to get snacks.

The hotel is not in the city, but only a 10 minute walk to the metro at the end of the yellow line. Easy access to everywhere. Other people have complained that the pool is small - it’s not Olympic sized but is plenty deep enough with various water features to make it great. The steam room and sauna are clean and efficient. The room on the 7th floor was big enough for my wife and me, with a large balcony and far reaching views, although the barrier was fairly low. Excellent breakfast (the toaster is in the corner and really slow, but that really is nit picking. The staff are the biggest asset to the hotel. Service with and smile, and help going far beyond the basics. Would I stay again? Yes please!

The hotel was good overall. Parking entrance is very bad. Bruschetta without toasted bread. Breakfast without expresso, only machine coffee.

I was there for almost three weeks and the breakfast was very much the same every day! They should give at least couple choices a week!

The hotel is ideal for a business traveller, with friendly staff and good degree of cleanliness. The rooms are a little dated, but irrelevant when seeking only a good night sleep. Depending on the purpose of the stay, the surrounding might be relevant.

I had a terrific stay! Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the wait staff at the restaurant to the reception desk were all helpful, kind and willing to take the extra steps to make my stay perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. The spa was great, too!

Ideally situated for the University hospital a 15 minute Uber ride from the airport, decent hotel, does look tired, mind you for the price I'd stay there again and again.

Great room and staff. Be aware that to use the "pool", there is an additional cost and you'll also have to pay for flip-flops AND a bathing cap. These additional costs can really add up for an hour of R&R.

A lovely break

The hotel was not in the centre of Porto but that was easily accessible by the cheap and regular metro. The staff were lovely and helpful and gave information and suggestions on things to do and places to eat. The spa was nice and the food in the restaurant was decent though a few more items on the menu would be nice.

Stayed here to be able to get to the airport. Room and bathroom were very good, room service excellent both speed and price and food in the restaurant was very good too and reasonably priced. Recommend to anyone who is looking for a short stay.

The hotel is not close to the center but well communicated. The rooms were perfect, though we requested in advance, specifically three beds instead of a sofa bed and they gave us a room with two beds and a sofa bed. The breakfast buffet is excellent, very good and complete, has everything and more you can have. All the staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. We had a great time

Nice hotel but far away from downtown

Axis Porto hotel is good with a nice spa to relax after a day of work that cost only 3 euros. The breakfast was good and was included in the price of the room. The staff is very good

People very friendly and willing to help. The higher floors have a clear view over the area. All rooms have balconies.

Amazing hotel in quiet part of town

We stayed at this hotel with a small baby for two nights and it was an incredible experience. We were given a spacious room with a big balcony and an attached bedroom for the baby. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also made use of the spa services and were not disappointed. It is a bit of a walk to get to the tram stop (about 10 minutes), but the hotel is in a quieter part of town, which we definitely appreciated after many hours spent in crowds.

The Internet was truly bad. Not just slow, but intermittent. Given the place has Business in the title it's completely unacceptable. It would have been a pain even if you were just there on holiday.

Great for an overnight stop

Overnight stop. Hotel staff are great and were very attentive to requests. Hotel tends to be used for bus tours so restaurant can be hectic but the a l carte menu is well worth it.

There was a group of students staying and i slept for only 2 hours.

LACKING

1.No taxi rank, so reception have to call one for you. Long walk to metro or 2E shuttle bus to metro at certain times a day. 2. Reception lacked staff, had to wait over 10mins twice whilst there to be served as only 1 person to man the front desk. Receptionist was not smartly presented. 3. Advertised swimming pool is not a pool, just a "dip pool" - and Mandatory swimming cap has to be worn! 4. Located in a housing estate, so nothing around of interest, to have an evening stroll.

Awake until 2am by 10 children Smoking

There were approx. 70 children staying in the hotel. The teachers were on a different floor and they ran riot! At 2am I demanded that the hotel got their teacher. It was only her that stopped me from calling the Police as i suspected that up to 10 children that looked about 13 years old were taking drugs. The Manager of the Hotel has never called me although the staff promised he would. I will be sending a letter to Groups HQ and demanding a refund. The receptionist was alone in the Hotel and did all he could but it was impossible. I think the Hotel has a duty of care to the children. This has been the worst experience i have ever had in a hotel!!!!

Fantastic hotel

The hotel was very clean and the staff were really nice, although maybe a little slow. The first day there were four staff at the front desk and only one serving. The second day there were two at the front desk with only one serving. Apart from that the hotel was great value for money and I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Porto. The food is great too.

Nice hotel but away from downtown

The hotel was new so everything look good. The location for me good because was close to the hospital where I have a seminar but for people who wants to be close to downtown was a little away, need to walk 5 blocks and take the subway (Tram) for around 20 minutes. The taxi from downtown to the hotel at night was around 8 euro. The spa was excellent but it cost 3 euro per person per hour and you must have sandals and head cap. The hotel did not have a exercises room. Breakfast was good

Good service from friendly staff

The hotel reflected its 4 star rating with stylish rooms and spa facilities and there was always good food in the restaurant. However we did not consider that it reflected its description of being close to the airport and metro system accurately. Despite quite a long walk to get to the metro, for transport into Porto itself, we enjoyed our stay at the Axis Hotel, and are considering staying there again when we next visit Porto.

Lovely hotel

I was visiting the University and was unable to stay in the closest hotel so chose this one. It was excellent - rooms were to a very high standard, especially given that the rate was very reasonable. It is not near the river or historic district, but the location suited my visit.

Great Hotel

The hotel was modern and clean. The staff spoke good English and were helpful. Underground parking at €5 a day was good value. I did not eat in the hotel but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area. One local cafe charged €3 for two coffees and two cakes, a bargain! The tram is 10 minutes walk away and after eventually working out the ticket system it cost€1.20 to get into Porto, which is a 10 minute ride away. Overall i was very impressed with the hotel and it was easy to get to using the satnav.

Axis hotel is ideal for conference travel

Very pleased with this hotel. It is not in the city center but a short walk to the metro, and really good value for the money. The open buffet breakfast was excellent as well.

Só tenho a anotar a falta de bodylotion no w/c dos quartos para um hotel de 4 estrelas e a cobrança de 5€ para acesso ao SPA, deveria de estar incluído no preço ou ter essa opção quando se faz a reserva online. De resto nada a dizer soa empregados do serviço ou do hotel.

Excellent séjour

Bon séjour, hormis le stationnement en garage, notamment pour l’utilisation des chargeurs électriques. Les places ne sont pas assez large. Sinon tout va bien. Le personnel d’accueil et le personnel des chambres sont agréables et serviable.

Hotel não tem uma localização conveniente! As instalações em geral é o próprio quarto, a despeito de limpas, remontam a trinta e cinco anos atrás! Urge remodelar algumas coisas para torná-lo mais agradável! Café da manhã é bom! Possui um restaurante com bom preço é comida que atende!

There was nearly no water coming in the shower. Washing your hear was not possible! We were 1 minut to late in the bar to oder and they refused to give us a drink. Very unfriendly girl at the bar and rely not interested in the customer.

L'hôtel est très beau, très propre. les chambres superbes. l'emplacement pas terrible trop loin du centre historique et de l'animation de Porto. après quand vous avez une voiture tout va bien. sinon l'emplacement n'a rien d'extraordinaire, ni d'agréable pour des vacances. On se croirait en banlieue parisienne. Très déçue de la piscine qui est magnifique mais vraiment trop froide on ne peut pas en profiter! faire un jacuzzi trop froid ,aucun intérêt c'est une déception. surtout que l'on vous demande 5 € pour une heure de piscine 5 € pour un bonnet 5 € des chaussons c'est exagéré puisqu'on ne peut rien faire dans la piscine glacée. bon point pour le sauna. mauvais Pour le hammam qui est clairement brûlant. Autre déception vient du petit déjeuné qui est suffisamment varié mais proposé du becon des saucisses , des légumes , de l omelette froids!? Expliquer moi l intérêt . Il n ya pas de chauffe plat donc tout est froid jusqu'à ce qu on remplisse le plat . Le personnel du resto ( je ne parle que du petit déjeuné) est parfois un peu mou . Il faut demander plusieurs fois pour avoir ....des cuillères , ou des oeufs ..enfin ce qui manque . Sinon choix variés et bons .

Ein schönes Stadthotel am Stadtrand. Es ist aber mit der Metro zu erreichen und bietet gegen Aufpreis von 5 € / Stunde eine SPA Bereich an. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Allerdings finde ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht angemessen.

Hôtel situé à l’extérieur du centre ville, pour regagner le métro il faut marcher 10 minutes, l’hôtel est confortable, le personnel agréable et accueillant, la piscine du spa est accessible pour 5 euros par personne pour une heure sur réservation, notez que le parking de l’hôtel en sous sol est facture 5 euros par jour, il y a des places en extérieur.

Ottimo hotel. Non ho avuto modo di provare la SPA, per il resto le caemre sono confortevoli e gradevoli, la mia era dotata di bel balcone. Buono il servizio di ristorazione ed anche la colazione. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Distanza da aeroporto circa 15 minuti. Posizione dell'hotel periferica

Buen hotel de ciudad.

El personal de recepción es de lo más amable y eficaz con el que me he encontrado. Es un hotel cómodo para pasar una noche. El spa no está mal para descansar un rato, la piscina es pequeña pero suficiente. Con respecto al tema covid, todo bien, medidas suficientes. En cuanto a la habitación, no estaría de más que la televisión contase con más canales o con opciones (llevé un pendrive y un disco externo por si acaso y las televisiones no tienen opción de insertar ningún dispositivo). El desayuno buffet es suficiente y de bastante calidad, aunque necesitan poner por lo menos una máquina de café a mayores para evitar las colas. Repetiría este hotel si voy a Oporto de nuevo en coche, ya que está bastante alejado e incomunicado del centro. Por cierto, el garage está bien y pagar 5 € por noche no me parece excesivo.

BUENOS MODALES EN PORTO

Nos ha encantado la estancia, todo muy bien. Tanto en trato, en limpieza, orden, servicios, les doy un 10. El desayuno bufet de 10, variedad y calidad. Lo único de resaltar que por la situación "covid" en el spa solo esta abierta la piscina. Por de lo demás calidad-precio recomendable
