This was an amazing place. The young man at the desk helped us with water shuttles to the next Idland. He helped us get to the airport. It was incredible what he did for us. Not only was this a beautiful safe place but they are ready to meet your every need. I wish every place we stay in could be like this.

Amazing Hotel; Amazing Location

This is one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. It is TRULY a luxury hotel with everything anyone could want. And it is a somewhat historic place dating back into the early 1900s. The places is gorgeously decorated outside and inside. The staff is friendly and competent. And the location, on Lido Island, is sublime with restaurants, cafes, and little stores along the street where the hotel is situated. It's expensive, but if you can afford it, then it's worth every penny.

Great place

We liked this hotel, they greeted us with a much needed spritz. The location on Lido, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, was very nice. The ferry and water taxi services made it very easy to come and go as we pleased. There were many dining options in the area, and we ate at the hotel, which was very good. Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel and amazing location. Island of Lido is a secret haven off the busy island of Venice, but only a quick boat ride away. It’s great to come back to the quiet and peaceful island of Lido and the hotel was exceptional for service and the rooftop bar was beautiful.

The staff at this property is beyond superb. My wife and I enjoyed everything. Staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond. My 2nd year spending my anniversary with this property. I’m definitely looking forward to going back and would highly recommend it to anyone that decides to travel to Venice Italy

This is an excellent hotel, originally opened in the early 1900s, and it retains its "Belle Epoque" elegance. Rooms have been modernized, and are quiet and comfortable. This property is not oceanfront, but is in the town center, with an easy walk to both the beach and the water buses. Excellent breakfast and staff. Beautiful views from rooftop, and a large swimming pool. Lido is far less crowded than Venice island, yet easy access. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place!

Staff were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. We arrived later than expected due to weather and they made sure we had everything we needed.

Excellent hotel, worthy of its rating, very convenient for the ferries to the rest of Venice, pleasant & helpful staff with lovely rooms & a great breakfast. A really worthwhile alternative to being on the main island.

Great stay. Everything about the hotel was very good. My only disappointment was the fitness facilities. There was no functioning air conditioning, which made exercising very uncomfortable. In addition, the equipment was not as shown in photos. There were just two ‘selectable’ dumbbells but the handles were missing, which rendered them completely useless. I like to exercise every day and this was a real let down and would be very, very easy to resolve, along with allowing the air conditioning to be switched on.

We were glad that we chose this one. Lido was awesome! Great location for dining, shopping and transportation to Venice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here again if we ever come back.

The staff was exceptional. I scheduled my alarm for an hour too late. The front desk man made sure I was awake and got me to the water taxi on time for the train. Thank you so much. I slept like a baby!

Best reception ever

The captain in checkbin was absolutely the most helpful person we ever encountered. He was just perfect, patient, and guided us through a difficult situation with the Transit strike. Because of him all went smoothly. Made or holiday wonderful. He was just great. Cant say enough gokd things about him.

This was a great place for us to stay while visiting Venice. It is a charming building and hotel and our room was very nice - new, clean and modern. It is a very short walk to catch the water taxi to Venice, with many restaurants near and between the hotel and water taxi - perfect. The staff went out of their way to provide a high level of attention and service. They handled the parking of our rental car with no problem, which we did not use while there. I highly recommend the Ausonia Hungaria.

The hotel and staff were excellent and I loved being on the Lido area too.

Great escape from Venice. Beautiful hotel and lovely breakfast. My only suggestion is for front staff, no information was given on Venice the near by beach or transportation. We had to ask everything , for example how do we get to the beach, what water bus line do we use to get Venice and how late does it run. Usually this general information is given out at check in.

Very clean area and quiet. Close to the water taxis and beach. Good food and bars in the area. Pool was lovely as well as the spa. Food and rinks are rather spendy. Rooftop bar is gorgeous but twice as expensive as bottom floor bar.

This property was beautiful. The staff was helpful and efficient.

We loved this experience! An elegant old art nouveau facade with modern interior design and Hollywood touches (Venice Film Festival is conducted down the street). Perfectly situated 3 blocks from beaches and three blocks from all vaporettos to Venice— a gorgeous 5 minutes boat ride away! Staff was perfect: friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and designed in sophistication.

Great updated rooms with old world charm... welcoming and warm. Also staffed by a team truely committed to a great customer experiance.

Lido brilliance

Brilliant location for this beautiful hotel

Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! The location is wonderful, staff very helpful and friendly and room was GORGEOUS!

An excellent hotel on Lido within a 3 minute walk to the ferry. The staff was always super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also very good.

Exceptional cleanliness. Kind, friendly service. Only a 5 minute walk to a waterbus station for an easy 15 minute ride from Lido to Venice. I highly recommend relaxing here after a long day seeing Venice.

This place is amazing. It is super easy to get to the main islands but it gives you a break from the crowds. The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The food was terrific (still dreaming about the breakfasts) and the balcony was a world-beating location for a spritz. We didn’t use the spa because we have a young family but I’m sure that was amazing too. Lido is so relaxing for a walk around.

The ENTIRE STAFF was very professional and very friendly. I celebrated my birthday here 04-16-1972. I appreciate the birthday celebration for my morning breakfast.

Near boat station, lot of restaurants and really nice and safe city

I cannot think of one single complaint about this hotel. Everything was wonderful. The staff are friendly and so helpful, the food is delicious, the room is beautiful, the building is beautiful and it’s so convenient to get to. We loved every minute of our stay there.

Great place to stay while visiting Venice!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and my wife concurs.

My favorite hotel experience yet! The staff are super friendly and accommodating, they made the stay easy and wonderful. The breakfast is scrumptious, the designs are modern and simply very nice. Absolutely loved it!

One of the best check in experiences of my life. The place was spotless, great service and an amazing terrace to have drinks and wind down. Would recommend this place in a heart beat, it’s better to stay here than the over crowded Venice. You can go into town whenever, just make sure you buy the day pass as it’s much cheaper to travel to and from. Honestly amazing experience.

You can't go wrong staying here!

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, close to everything, and super attentive. They started out asking when we'd be arriving and how. They reserved us a parking spot, and sent detailed instructions on what to do. They even translated the ferry website because my phone was having trouble doing it. We spent the night at 4 different hotels on our trip, this by far was the best!

Wonderful Lido Find

Great historical hotel in Lido but close to dock for easy boat ride to Venice. Rooms were completely updated and very large and comfortable.

Funky decor themed on movies/Venice film festival, well renovated, lovely staff. Convenient. Easy walk to water bus and taxi, with good and reasonably-priced food off the path.

The breakfast in this hotel is 5 star. It is the only breakfast included hotel that has ever been worthit. Multiple platters. The bathroom is not cool see thru and toilet was with a friend of opposite sex The outside bar also worth it given appetizers free with a drink. The bed was not good but the chair in room was 5 star. The day staff was exceptional except on May7 where he would not get a bag we left in room and took too long almost missed travel. If they changed the glass for bathroom and the mattress it is very 5 star

We had a great stay at Ausonia Hungaria. The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The service was incredible, they took such good care of us and kept our room tidy with fresh towels and turn down service. The breakfast was sooooo delicious, definitely the best we had in Italy. The rooftop deck was beautiful and quiet. And the location was great, very quick walk to the boat station. Highly recommend that you stay here, you will not regret it!! You will feel very comfortable and well taken care of!

Fantastic Break

We loved this hotel. It is in a perfect location within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants & water buses, all about 5 minutes away. The staff were amazing, helpful & friendly. Breakfast was also lovely. Would recommend this hotel & will definitely book again if we go back to Venice.

We loved how staff was welcoming. Mirko was absolutely amazing helping us get from the main land to the island late in a day. Without his help, we would have been lost. The hotel is true 5 star experience, from cleanliness of the room to breakfast to suggestions for best beach and how to get the best of one day in Venice. My 11 year daughter and I felt like the celebrities in this hotel.

Our stay here was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was huge and the pool just perfect for the hot sunny days. Enjoying the roof top terrace for sunset drinks with views over the city was the icing on the top. Would return in a heartbeat!

The staff was so welcoming and so very helpful with travel logistics. The food was amazing…especially the breakfast. And it was terrific having the beautiful pool to cool off in during the 90 degree weather! We will definitely be back!!!

Hotel, facilities and location were all excellent. One staff member made a big difference Faraz, he is a star. Main Guy at the the front was not so great, could not recommend any other local restaurants other than hotel (or his wife’s cooking) which was dissapointing when you are new to area and could do with some local advice and on two occasions had excuses for not being able to make a standard cocktail. That said all staff were courteous and our stay was really memorable.

Gorgeous hotel

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and it was lovely. The room was modern and a good size even though it was the cheapest style of room in the hotel. We used the pool every day and also had a massage at the spa. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and it was such a peaceful stay on the lido. It’s in a great location for everything on the lido and close to the vaporetto for when you want to get into the city as well.

Amazing respite in from the Venice chaos. Great staff and exceptionally clean rooms with attentive house keeping. Second stay and would return again.

The location was excellent, the hotel was amazing. Just a shame we couldn’t use the Jacuzzi as we booked through Expedia and not direct with the hotel which we did not know at the time of booking.

Beautiful property with comfortable rooms/beds and great staff. Their restaurant at the hotel was phenomenal and our server Walter was such a pleasure. Highly recommend the hotel as well as the restaurant!!!

Great historic hotel

Quite a gem in the Lido. Full of history, great breakfast, pool, location (walking distance to the port and 5 min from the Palazzo del Cinema by taxi). Rooms are very spatious, modern (a bit too modern for my taste) but very comfortable. Only problem: no iron available in the room. There is an iron service but need to plan ahead. So no last minute ironing of your shirt!

The shared areas like a private lounge, outdoor area with a bar and the pool were all very stylish and the roof top bar was a highlight . Also the Spa is amazing, the best sauna I have ever been in and the relax area was calming and quiet It is a jewel

A unforgettable trip with my grand son

I do recommend the hotel for a city trip . Excellent stay and delicious meals ( a little pricy). Warm welcome and nice facilities ( swimming pool and rooftop).
