I had an excellent stay at this property during a short business trip. My apartment was spotless, very modern, and had a minimalist style that still provided everything I needed. The setup was thoughtfully designed, with all the essentials readily available. Check-in was smooth, and the service was efficient, making it ideal for business travellers on tight schedules. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit!

August Boardinghouse

Lovely little apartments, nice, clean tidy and quiet, wouldnt even know you were in the city.

Very nice boutique type of hotel in a very vibrant neighborhood. Convenient to most any place we wanted to go. The staff was nice and helpful.

Serene setting within hip environs

The Boarding House was lovely with a beautiful garden courtyard, clean modern décor and many amenities including small kitchen, well appointed bath and free laundry.

Our specific room was a dissapointment.

We booked a garden apartment and then sent an email to ask if we could have the apartment on ground floor. The staff replied it was no problem. When we arrived we realized they changed then to a non-garden apartment and when we complained they said it was now fully booked. Whereas the garden apartment had direct access to a veranda and a stair leading to the garden, we got had no door leading outdoors, and the view was into a corner of an overgrown backyard that no-one could access. So a big disappointment. The layout of the apartment was not good, with the bedroom being bright and nice with two big windows, but the living room dark and only a very small window. Not a nice place for meals. The kitchen and bathroon was like two corridors between the rooms so it felt very separated and small. The style was nice and it was clean. I would come back if I was guaranteed an apartment facing the garden (and I think also the apartments with balcony would be nice but didn't suit us as we had a pram). There was a problem with the TV and when mentioning to the staff they suggested a few things that we tried, but it didn't work and the staff just replied that then they don't know and made no further efforts to solve it. Otherwise the staff was friendly.

Great reception and apartment conditions! We will look to stay here first for all of our visits to beautiful Hamburg!

We really loved the accommodation and would definitely go back should we ever return to Hamburg. The service was brilliant, the apartment was of a high standard and the local area was perfect for what we were looking for. I definitely reccomend it. It's a little out of town (around 25mins walk) and all the better for it. There were plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, lively on the Saturday and more chilled on the Sunday.

Great stay, lovely building, very good location in Hamburg, staff very friendly, would stay here again.

Great area and stay best for leisure trip

It would give it five stars except the heating wasn’t working but I am sure that isn’t usually the case. The shower is basic and l think atleast a rainfall type shower would be better. Also it is located down a dark alleyway which l think should be lit at night. Absolutely fine during the day but at night it is really dark and if l was by myself I wouldn’t have felt comfortable. I’m sure it’s a safe area but it feels a little strange walking through darkness and hoping it was safe. But the room itself is spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable.

I will go back there

Amazing!! Wonderful place to stay. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and the girls at the reception were so very kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!!!

Simpelthen fantastisk. Placeret i et af de mest livlige områder af Hamburg, men med en placering i et trygt og hyggeligt gårdmiljø, hvor du ikke har støjen fra gaden. Super god service og venlige mennesker. Kommer helt klart igen.

Exzellentes Apartment-Zimmer (ich war glaube ich noch nie in einem schöneren Zimmer untergebracht), alles vorhanden was man braucht und noch mehr, super sauber und ausgezeichneter Service!

Sehr schönes ruhiges Bordinghouse in HH

Sehr zentrales und perfektes Apartmenthaus.

Sehr gute und sehr saubere Unterkunft mit sehr vielen Annehmlichkeiten, SEHR GUT! Das Parken könnte anstelle des Schlüssel mit einem Code besser organisiert werden, dann bräuchte man nach dem Ausschenken nicht nochmal zur Unterkunft zurück. Die Parkmöglchkeiten an der Unterkunft sind gleich NULL.

Grøn oase midt i hip bydel

Rent, lækkert, eget køkken og køleskab og den dejligste grønne gårdhave, som vi havde direkte adgang til fra værelset. Ligger tæt på masser af små restauranter og butikker.

Prachtig appartement, netjes verzorgd en goed uitgerust. Fijn ook met eigen terras. Zeer vriendelijke & hulpvaardige medewerkers. Ligging tov restaurantjes en metro is goed. Supermarkt en bakker dichtbij. Prima geregeld met de betaalde parkeerplaats 15,- per dag

Rigtig fint sted, især som familie

Overall rigtig godt. Det eneste minus var kommunikation ved ankomst, idet vi fik at vide værelset ville være klar inden for 30 min. Vi går en tur og kommer tilbage efter 40 min. Og får her at vide “few more minutes”. Det ender med 2 timer.

Nichts für uns!

Wir würden dieses Appartment nicht mehr buchen! 1 Stunde Parkplatz suchen, abends kein Personal mehr vor Ort und das Quartier! Wir wollten am darauf folgenden Tag nur noch nach Hause, trotz 9-stündiger Fahrt.

Ruhig, sauber und mitten im Szeneviertel gelegen! TipTop! Parkplatz in Tiefgarage kann separat gebucht werden (ca. 2 min. zu Fuß)

En sand perle

Dette sted er en sand perle! Beliggenheden er helt fantastisk i det charmerende kvarter sternschanze og transportmulighederne med s- og u-bahn rundt i byen er rigtig gode. Selve lejligheden er smagfuldt indrettet og der er alt, hvad man skal bruge i det lille køkken. Rigtigt godt sted, som vi helt sikkert vil vende tilbage til - og anbefale varmt til andre :),

Top Kurzurlaub in der Schanze

Tolle, absolut ruhige Lage in der Schanze. Sehr netter Empfang und Service von den Mädls. Einfach klasse! Tolle Ausstattung (Gläser, Geschirr etc.) und sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen wieder.

Das Appartement war gut ausgestattet und es war sehr sauber !!

Ruhige Lage im Hinterhof. Zentral. Freundliches Personal am Empfang

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, sehr schöne Einrichtung. Super Lage, direkt am Schulterblatt, aber trotzdem ruhig, da es in einem Innenhof liegt. Wir waren in Hamburg das erste Mal nicht im Hotel, sondern in einem Boardinghouse - und fühlten uns total wohl! Die Küchenzeile haben wir zwar kaum genutzt, da wir auswärts gefrühstückt haben. Aber für einen Tee oder zum Kaltstellen von Dingen sehr praktisch, gerade wenn man auch länger dort bleibt als wir (nur 2 Nächte auf der Durchreise).

Die Lage war toll, ebenso die Wohnung und deren Zustand. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Really nice place! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even though you are staying right in the middle of an area full of life, it’s very peaceful at the apartment.

Perfekt sted å bo i Hamburg. Fantastisk oase i et kult område med alt du trenger av spisesteder og butikker rett utenfor døra. Kun 2 stopp med banen til sentrumskjernen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber, modern eigerichtet. Die Lage ist super und der kleine Garten rundet alles perfekt ab.

Duschkopf zu klein und Halterung schlecht. Ansonsten top.

Super lækker lejlighed

Rigtig fin lejlighed vi boede i, men lokalområdet er bestemt ikke noget for os. Meget graffiti og urinlugtende opgange man passere. Bilen måtte vi parkerer i et P-hus ca 5 min gang fra hotellet, hvor vi gav en høj pris for at holde fra om aftenen til næste morgen. Kunne være dejligt med parkering ved hotellet.

Nice apartment hotel

Nice and spacious apartment hotel with Scandinavian interior design. Pressure in shower was bad and I would prefer a waterfall shower as opposed to a handheld nozzle. Also, no body lotion as amenity, only hand lotion. L:A Bruket products were great. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker. All in all super good! And good value for money.

Kurztrip um meine Tochter zu besuchen, perfekte Lage, ruhig gelegen (allerdings waren jetzt die Terrassen der Bars nicht geöffnet) große Auswahl an Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

Fantastische Lage, geschmackvolle Designer-Einrichtung, kompromissloser Service. Ein wahres Refugium inmitten des Schanzenviertels.

Sehr gute Lage, Ausstattung und freundliche Ansprechpartner. Das Appartement war bei Ankunft leider sehr ausgekühlt und nicht beheizt, der erste Abend war somit nur mit Decken auszuhalten. Dennoch in Summe sehr zu empfehlen.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
