Great pool
Nice place to stay in Maniwaki
Great value for the money
Ok place butA/C was off and really hot in the room when we got there also the fridge was unplugged so we had to wait to cool before using.
I had 5 rooms booked. Of course I get the room that the AC doesn’t work
Generally just like this property
English was understood.
Good clean rooms and good service
The resturant is overpriced for the food quality , but found other resturants close by , the pool was amazing , the jacuzzi big disappointment, the jets didnt work in them The sauna was a big disappointment too was shut down for repairs , The beds were very comfy , and the shower in bathroom were very nice too . The staff were very friendly
Great place to stay!
Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Room clean, but outdated. Pool area large and bright with lots of seating, but the security guard was staring at people in a creepy way. Restaurant food and service was good, but can use more healthy options on the menu. Property is conveniently located on the main street close to amenities, and offers free parking.
Newly remodeled restaurant that was pretty good. This is a fairly busy hotel mostly for people on their way north or south. Over all I would say that this is on the better side of fair.
Everything you can hope for
Everything was good, room and hotel was clean. The pool was fun and well entertained.
quiet place at night
Good stay
Pool area was excellent. Hotel was dated but very clean
Great location, clean rooms, awesome indoor pool & outdoor pool spa, great restaurant with delicious food, it was a wonderful stay..
Food at the restaurant and the staff was excellent
Wow, what a great place, if you want, you don't have to leave. Quite a few things to do. Pool, jacuzzi, bar, restaurant.
Room was beautiful, loved the bath
Comfortable and clean rooms. It’s my regular place to stay when I’m in the area.
Very friendly place and staff.
Great place to stay we had a issue with the room water leak and they changed us immediately great customer service and kind staff
Nothing to say negative . Great place for family and solo.
Was ok
The hotel was annexed to a great bar/restaurant. Pool and spa were awesome.
Le seul élément qui m'a déplus ce sont les taches multiples sur les tapis des chambres et des corridors
Parfait pour nos besoins
Pet friendly
The pictures on the website are nothing like the real thing. We booked a superior room so the middle of the other option. With that in mind I would not want to know what a comfort room looks like. We only had a stand up shower, the couch dated back to the 70's, the bed was the worse part squeeking and slanted. Very dissapointed for the price.
Worse night sleep, the bed was so hard it might have been comforter sleeping on the floor. The tv kept blinking a black screen. Hated you could only use the lobby doors to enter because they deactivated the other door to get into the building and when you are at the other end of the building it was an inconvenience.
It was OK nothing special just a place to sleep for the night. Staff seemed put out that we were bothering her.
Swimming pool and spa was great.
We loved the pool and spa areas, as well as the restaurant and bar, conveniently located within the hotel. In our room, the temperature could not be controlled - this could be improved.
Having access to the pool and spa was a nice add on to our stay.
Very good service
Great spot to go to with the side by sides, easily accessible from the trails.
Great location, friendly staff. Nice pool area. Excellent restaurant attached to hotel (Rabaska pub).
Was very clean when we came in , towels and bathrobes were also clean . Had 5 pillows and 2 blankets , best part was the jet tub being beside out in the open
Good value for your money and would recommend!!!!!
Had reserved a room with 2 queen sized beds only to find out they booked us into a different room with 2 doubles that were probably dated back to when this place opened, not a restful sleep. As well when I called about the room we where originally supposed to have, the receptionist said it was due to a leaky roof which seemed to also have occured in our room due to the large patch on the ceiling, another thing was the A/C which hardly was working. First stay and last one as well!!
Great weekend
Great service. Suite was clean. Bed a bit hard for my taste. Jaccuzi bath was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful.
This nice hotel is going through an upgrade so ask for a room on the third floor where the rooms, beds and air conditioning have been upgraded. Great location with a restaurant.
Awesome
Everything was very clean, the room was spacious. Staff is very helpful and accomodating. Love the pool and spa, we used them a lot. The renovated restaurant was good too. The best in the area, none come close. I would recommend anytime.
The restaurant attached to the hotel is good. I didn't like the fact we can hear the people talking in the always. There's no insulation from the always noises.
All and all it was ok. I only spent the night so i didn’t have a chance to take full advantage of all the facilities the hotel had to offer.
Lower floor rooms are need of new mattresses. In room fridge compressor make so much noise that it needs to be turned off so you can sleep. Entrance door bangs against frame every time someone opens the main hallway fire door. Front desk and cleaning service are good. Limited hotel selection in Maniwaki.
The front desk lady was terrible.
Great stay, nice people, convenient location with restaurant downstairs. Carpet could use some cleaning and odd smell in the hallway, other than that excellent.
Really liked the lemongrass shower stuff. Staff were really excellent to deal with.
Room in front was very noisy from the smokers that party late on a Saturday night! We had the window open because it was a cool night for it !
Great place to stay.
We stay at this place every year and it has been recently renovated. They did a great job with the reno and would highly recommend this place.
Friendly helpful ( provided us access to their freezer for safe keeping of fish) . Decent restaurant and interesting bar which, as an unexpected bonus, provided live music for our enjoyment.
Property needs updating . Resto is amazing but not the rooms. Paper thin walls.
All was very good except the spa was not working but pool was warmish.
Great stay in Maniwaki Quebec!
Our stay was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful when we needed something. We really enjoyed the restaurant on site as the food was delicious for both dinner and breakfast.
The mural in our room was awesome! Our room was very spacious. The shower was very small, not a lot of room to move around.
Getting. Onnected to wifi was challenging and unreliable. Didn’t like that kids couldn’t use pool past 7pm
I enjoyed the long hours that the pool was open. We also liked that the staff were easy going & allowed us to have fun during our stay!
I was very surprised at the spaciousness and absolute cleanliness of the room. Overall, the hotel was very clean, the staff extremely pleasant and more quiet than I had expected. I was delighted with m stay and will not hesitate to stay there again next time I'm in Maniwaki.
Spirit Visitors
It was a great comfortable room. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. You have spirits in the room (216) though. They kept waking my daughter up (taking her pillow, opening the curtains and being noisy in the room.
Business trip to Maniwaki
Stayed two nights. In the center of town. Restaurant undergoing construction but was not an issue or an inconvenience. Rooms are dated. Cons: mattress not very comfortable; bathroom small; in room ventilation system loud. Pros: pillows plush and varied; house keeping good and thorough; Keurig in room; good cable TV package (English/French/sport channels); Adequate parking. Good WiFi speed and connection
In town for a funeral
Always stay here for the location but disappointed the restaurant was closed due to construction of it.
Spoke english well. Had a nice indoor pool. Simple straightforward room at a good price.
Staff was polite. The BIG problem is that the facility is supposed to be non-smoking. However, the room smelled so much of cigarettes that I had difficulty breathing and sleep was disrupted. I took pictures of the bath: it was full of stains made from cigarette butts .
A good time
Clean & nice. Good Restaurant !
Very nice place for a small town.
Personnel were very good, friendly and polite. Place was really clean and newer. Very good restaurant in the same complex...
We had problems every single day of our stay with the room key. Each day, and sometimes several times that day, we had to go to the front desk to get new room keys. Most of the clerks were nice, but on Saturday the 16th, there was a young woman with long dark braids at the desk who was not pleasant. First I had to stand at the desk and wait for her because she was outside smoking. Then I went up and down the stairs 3 TIMES trying different keys. The 4th time she came with me and had to open the door with her master key. Next, we had an issue with towels. My elderly mother and I were booked in a double room with two towels. I asked at the front desk if we could have two extra towels. I was given the towels, but the desk clerk told me that we should only be using one towel each. The next day, after maid service came in, and even though we hung up our towels to be used again, the towels were replaced and we were back to just two towels. Once again, I asked for more towels at the front desk, and later we found just one extra towel. And, finally, we paid full price for our room only to check in and find a hand-written note on the front door of the hotel saying that the pool and spa were all closed until 6/20, the day AFTER we were scheduled to check out.
Nice, convenient central location.
The biggest disappointment was the hot tub and pool. During a two day stay the water heater worked half the time.
Hotel was incredibly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at restaurant was very good and service was excellent. We do not speak French and that was absolutely no problem. Would highly recommend this hotel.
good
good hotel

Stay was good, clean room although the bed was super hard.

Overall all great & good price
Great
We were very satisfied with our stay at Auberge du Draveur. Noise level very low. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. Close to everything.
We enjoyed our stay! Very clean and everyone friendly!
Canada day week end
We really enjoyed our stay, everyone is friendly and the owner Gilles is a very nice guy always have a great time when we stay there. Will be back :)
Fabulous
The front end staff were excellent!
I would like to commend the staff on accomodating the language. It was so nice to know that there was no barrier of understanding our obvious French speaking staff. I was very impressed that they made our stay very welcome. We know very little French so thank goodness we didn't have to rely on it. lol If we travel that way again we will definitely know where to stay. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Waterdown. On sp
"An oaisis on the way to northern Quebec".
I booked this room in Manawaki because it was about half way to our final fishing camp destination in northern Quebec. My brother and I were quite surprised to find such a lovely hotel this far away from a major city. The room was very comfortable with twin beds and a large screen TV. the shower is wonderful. Even better, there is a full service bar and restaurant located within the building. We enjoyed a late dinner with a few drinks, and a hearty breakfast in the morning before continuing our trip. We very much look forward to staying here again on our next fishing trip in Quebec.
Excellent Find
After a very long drive, we pulled in to a sanctuary! A friendly staff and comfortable room awaited us, as well as a delicous dinner. Would highly recommend staying here!
Nice hotel, terrific service
I rented a room here for my parents when they were visting. They only speak English and had no problems and both said the service was terrific. They also said they had a terrific breakfast !!
Nice hotel right in the middle of town
Rooms are plain but clean. Beds were rock hard. Did not know hotel price was based on two adults only. Had to pay 25.00 extra for my daughter. If we had two kids the price would have been over 200.00 for ONE night. That is extremely pricey for s hotel in a small little dinky town!
Nice surprise
I arrived late at night after a golf tournament. The room was great, better than expected, the bed was very comfortable. I will book there again for sure...
Was a great stay.
conveniently Located, reception was great/informative, the room was clean and quiet. Good food and services at the restaurant.
Great Staff, quiet rooms
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are large and quiet and clean. The mattress was not great or at least much harder than my preference would be. Small restaurant inside hotel with very nice staff and food was good and the portions were large. No free continental breakfast, but prices for breakfast were very reasonable and good. Overall very good stay for a small town with limited hotel choices.
Bang on for your buck
Comfortable, quiet and offers good & inexpensive breakfasts.
it served my purpose just perfectly
Everything functioned well. reception staff well informed and friendly. I will stay there again for sure
Best Hotel in 40 Mile Radius
We've stayed here every year for the last 10 years before we head into the outback for a week of camping/fishing. This is an excellent hotel. Beautiful pool and spa. Bilingual front desk staff. Recently added Massage and Fitness center. It's the best you can get north of Ottawa.
Clean useful for short stays
Friendly hotel staff
The hotel staff we're very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The air conditionning was a little too cold for my taste!
great hotel. rooms are just like the pictures
the food in the area is great. Found an amazing bakery only open thurs/fri/sat. People very friendly
nice stop
we stay here every year on our way to fishing trip. it is clean and the pool is nice. I think the price is a little high.
Cheaper to book directly with the hotel.
Found out on arrival it is cheaper to book directly with the hotel AND they will include breakfast. If done through Expedia, it is more expensive and breakfast is not included. Beds were firm but comfortable.
Auberge Du Draveur
The hotel was very clean, great customer service, pleasant staff. Their restaurant was excellent! The food was delicious, large portions and attentive, pleasant servers We were very pleased with everything.
Bonne endroit
.
Though the rooms are a bit dated, they are clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. We will return on our next trip to Maniwaki.
