Terrific place to relax and enjoy the Aegean Sea. Lots of dining options. Staff is excellent. Close to Lindos and Acropolis. Under an hour to rodos. Highly recommended.
Fantastic stay. Beautiful grounds with very well taken care of vegetation and greenery. Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing and varied breakfast buffet. Great beach with no other hotels around. Feels like a fantastic oasis. Great room with lots of space. Only downside was the slightly dated decor and the somewhat small bath/shower. But good water pressure. Also would recommend staying on an upper floor because of ants. Other than minor things, everything else exceeded our expectations. Also 10 min taxi or bus to Lindos. And wonderful tavernas walking distance as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!!
This is a lovely place to stay with amazing dining options. Lots of families, but still good for a relaxing week round the pool.
Whole place is amazing with attentive staff and 1st class accommodation
Fab hotel
Highly recommend this hotel. Great all inclusive
The staff are first class, couldn't fault them in any way
Very friendly and accommodating staff. All needs met, very relaxing.
Staff were a credit to hotel chain
Amazing hotel, best I’ve ever stayed in.
Amazing stay, gorgeous hotel and the most wonderful staff, could not fault in any way!
Really great hotel, beautiful grounds and really well maintained. Any small issues were resolved immediately. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Lucas at the beach was incredibly helpful and friendly. Good restaurants and bar’s within walking distance too. Would definitely stay here again
A true 5 star stay
Amazing resort. Compare the resorts that I had stayed in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indoesia. I would said the pool condition is quite good. However, the water is still freezing during May. Please bring warm swimming wears.
Overall a good hotel for the one night we needed a room. My only issue would be the pool outside not heated. It was freezing! We had our 5 year old, so couldn’t go into the adults only warm indoor pool.
turned out very disappointing hotel, while pool area was awesome, the service was unprofessional and the shower would be rate 3 out of 10.
Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel. Great beach and pools. Excellent breakfast and general feel. Very clean.Great value for money.
Great room (we were upgraded to a suite, can't say what smaller rooms are like), friendly service everywhere, great buffet breakfast, excellent pool area with table service via an app.
3 night stay
Stayed here solitude my elderly parents for 3 nights. My mother struggled with the Bath/shower and the hotel immediately upgraded them and made sure their every need was catered for. Staff here really go out of their way to help. I’m vegan and commented that no vegan options in any of the main restaurants. I was met by the hotel Manager on exit who assured me there would be options next season in response to the huge upswing in plant based diets which as we know is better for the environment and the most compassionate diet.
Beautifully landscaped, extremely clean, delicious food and super friendly staff
Very warm welcome received on arrival which was mirrored by every staff member we subsequently met. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and well laid out grounds. Breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever had. So many nice little extra touches in this hotel which add to a wonderful experience. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely hotel, the staff were all very friendly from the bar to the cleaners everyone had a smile. The pools were great and there was always a free sunbed. It never felt overcrowded dispite the amount of guest’s. The entertainment in the evenings was varied and the cocktails strong! Will definitely stay again if we return to Rhodes
Mr Gabi Maraachli
Beautiful place great staff very clean and nice
First class hotel. Beautifully maintained pools and gardens. Room well appointed and super soft towels and bed linen changed twice in a week. Extensive choice of food in restaurants. Staff very attentive and polite. This hotel a ‘gem of a find’
Week break for two
well what a wonderful stay we had here ,, we wished it was for longer than a week. The staff are brilliant, friendly and smiling all the time and great hospitality too, and the Manager walks around each day and speaks to as many people as he can, what a lovely man he was, the food was fantastic and the evenings entertainment was great too, as were the entertainments team especially Marlon, thanks for a lovely relaxing holiday.. we will be coming back soon
The cleanliness, the friendly staff, the convenience to the pool and ocean
Excellent service from all staff, beautiful gardens and pool areas
Amazing choice for breakfast. Extensive pool area with plenty of sun beds. Staff really helpful and friendly
The staff made our holiday the best ever especially the pool bar and waiter staff. The environment is beautiful and breakfasts plentiful with many choices. Only criticism is you have to pay to go into the spa. This has been free(albeit Included In The tariff) at all other 5*hotels I have stayed.
We chose the hotel for its location as close to Lindos where we wanted to spend some time The hotel exceeded our expectations in style and facilities. Superb spa facilities Staf made one mistake but we're keen to make apologies and amends
Great stay
Great service and staff throughout our stay. We would highly recommend the hotel.
Week at the end of the season.
A week close to the end of the season, so fewer people, more room in dining room, more sunbeds to choose from, but less activities and amenities available in and around hotel. All staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful, Room spacious with good facilities, housekeeping excellent. Booked a sea view room, which it was, but only just, very limited.
Returned A Year Later - Still Excellent!
We stayed at Atrium Palace last October and very much enjoyed the hotel. The room and hotel is kept impeccably clean. Service and food with half board is very good. The staff are hard working, incredibly welcoming and friendly and it is a pleasure to be a guest at this resort. Housekeeping does an amazing job!! Parking is easy, the wi fi signal was very strong in the room and around the resort.
Stunning place
Absolutely fantastic experience as always.staff super friendly carnt do enought for you
hard bed, no tv channels for kids overall pleasing experience
perfect place away from the noise of the city
wonderful place, quiet, spread over a big area, nice rooms, great food: tasty and various. thank you Pari for your hospitality, the spa is nice, the beach is clean and well equipped. stayed there for a relaxing week
Outstanding
This is a beautiful hotel in every respect. Wonderful facilities, amazing staff and good food. Highly recommended
The bwst hotel in lindos um realy gonne come back!!
Worth the money
Nice hotel good servise
Great hotel
Great hotel that is very well looked after and clean. The staff are very friendly. There are many different pools to choose from and we always managed to find a sun lounger on both the beach and pool. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of choice. There isnt much in the local area but there are some restaurants nearby with our favourite being the Ostria which was fantastic - try the grilled vegetables. The bus to lindos takes less than 10 minutes and runs around every hour although the last one lack at night is 9.45pm and so we had to get a 10 euro taxi. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel. Pebble beach Excellent service Very clean Despite the size did not feel crowded
Very nice experience. Stayed 1 week in July 2018. Has stone/pebble beach within walking distance and several sand beaches about 15 min drive away. Facilities are very well kept. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only downside was that the hotel has very limited parking for cars next to the hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
Thanks Violeta for everything!!!
Simply the best
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at Had superb room with its own mini swimming pool Facilities were amazing 5 outdoor pools set in beautiful designed gardens indoor pool and free sun beds on the beach Entertainment each night The buffet breakfast was the most extensive we have seen Staff very friendly and efficient
Wonderful relaxing oasis of luxury
From the moment we arrived the staff were both attentive and welcoming, we did not see a member of hotel staff during our stay without them wishing us good day/evening and asking if there was anything we needed. The actual hotel is beautifully appointed with spacious airy rooms and a truly stunning pool area with ample sunbeds. The restaurants and bars throughout the hotel provided excellent quality food and in particular the staff at the pool bar were very friendly. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return.
Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff
The hotel and especially the staff were superb, always there to help you. Had a wonderful time and the little extras given to us for our anniversary were greatly received
Excellent hotel offering everything and more
Absolutely amazing from the staff to every part of the hotel,
Best hotel
Loved every second of my stay, amazing service!
Beautiful hotel in the sunshine
My daughter and I had a wonderful time here. The pools are clean and eye catching, with an infinity pool overlooking the many other features. We had a room that had smaller shared pools at the back of the apartments, which were practically empty, so enjoyed some quiet tranquility. Like having your own private pool, so very luxurious. The food was excellent....and an enormous choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a great time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Nice stay
Very nice hotel with excellent pool areas.
Review April 2017
This is the fourth time we have stayed here over the last 8 years. As ever our stay was enjoyable and we will be going back again next year. The staff are without exception helpful and our experience of this hotel is faultless. We had paid for a room upgrade this time and will do so again next year We only book B&B preferring to eat out evenings locally, there are 6 restaurants within a 5 minute walk so we spend our day by the pool drinking cocktails and then eat out locally in the evenings. We took a taxi to Lindos one evening but to be honest there is no need to travel that far to eat out, what's on the doorstep is good, and cheaper.
Very disappointing and inferior to Atrium Platinum
The hotel is a little dated in its styling, although most of the hotel is in a reasonable condition. Most of the things in the hotel are very disappointing, although not terrible. The hotel is made of many wings and can be a long walk from one part of the hotel to another. My family and I were a long way from the main reception building but that did not stop us being woken every night by extremely loud poor quality musical entertainment. The "entertainment" or more accurately 'noise pollution' started at 9pm each night and went on to 11pm. The service in the hotel was poor. We were kept waiting 5 minutes to get a pool towel whilst the member of staff in the pool bar opted to do paperwork rather than serve us. Even when asked if we could get pool towels he kept us waiting whilst doing his paperwork. In the Breakfast Buffet my 9 year old daughter waited patiently (quite a long time) to order a pancake, but the chef decided to serve a man that just walked up and talked over her. The pool area looks lovely but the water was extremely cold. Therefore we used the much smaller but pleasant temperature indoor pool. The hotel advertises free parking, but this is actually just parking on the public street by the hotel. Although we didn't have any problems, broken glass on the road suggested that break-ins was a real risk. Some of the areas of the hotel were in very poor condition and even dangerous (e.g. broken loungers and crazy golf with sharp screws sticking out).
Very nice hotel for a family vacation
We have stayed at Atrium Palace in September 2016 and been fond of our stay. The hotel has a very nice and green territory with loads of different flowers, plants, mini-fountains and even pool waterfalls. The service is generally good and personnel is most friendly. Animation is not agressive or pushy but proposes a variety of activities. Different performances are shown each evening (from small rock concerts to latina dancing). Another strong point is the food in the main (buffet) restaurant proposing different cuisines which varies day-to-day. The hotel beach is covered with small (fine) pebble, which is not as good as sand, but the water is clear as glass. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay in for one-two weeks, especially if you rent a car and travel through the island during the day (there are many interesting places to see on Rhodes).
would visit again
such an easy holiday. Staff were super attentive, spa and pools were great. Sea was crystal clear. Good choice of food options including vegetarian. Will visit again
Nice hotel with family friendly pools.
Comfortable rooms with helpful, happy staff. Not quite a 5 star, missing those 5 star nuances. Entire dining experience needs an overhaul. Breakfast buffet is too crowded and repetitive. The pool restaurant is ideally located but the food is disappointing. The pizza everywhere is awful. The constant signing of receipts for drinks could be improved with a simple barcode system. The pools are beautiful and the swim up bar was a huge hit for everyone. More staff is required to deliver poolside drinks and box lunches to customers at their chairs. The beach is not particularly inviting. All in all, hotel was fun for the kids and we enjoyed visiting Rhodes Old Town and Lindos.
Not quite 5 star
We have stayed at this hotel many times & do enjoy coming back. We haven learnt over the years which rooms to ask for (602-617). The room istelf wasn't quite up to scratch this year as we experienced a problem with ants but they do provide fresh fruit, water & wine on arrival (& mid way through the holiday too) The staff can be a little hit & miss, although it's getting towards the end of season & so they've have a long 6 months. The cleaners were very chirpy would have just prefered it not to be so early each morning. We enjoy the breakfast buffet & the many sunbed options. The bar man at the main pool was always a delight but we had a run in with the chap at the other smaller pool.
Excellent hotel and staff
Great amenities, staff and food would recommend this hotel to all
nice hotel but not really five star
Pools are great. Food is ok and very ample portions served. Staying half board we did on a few nights go to the nearby restaurant which was really good. The spa is very limited and like much of the hotel, looks tired and in need of investment. It is a nice quiet place and the bus service to lindos is reliable (1.80 euros each way) and taxis also good (15euros there but only 9 back so suspect hotel is taking 6 for booking!). On arrival we were upgraded from our two room booking to the presidential villa (which is the best the hotel has). This was very nice and way better than the room option with a large private pool, kitchen area, dining area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with both jacuzzi bath and jacuzzi shower! Also had a hot tub. Again though looking tired in parts with cracks in the hot tub, and the functions on the jacuzzi equipment broken. But if I were to go back I would definitely want the villa again- very lucky to had had that.
Great Hotel for Lindos area
Just got back from one week at Atrium Palace, two adults and a 9 year old on a B & B basis. We paid for a junior suite, side sea view, but got a front sea view on 3rd floor overlooking pool. Very quiet, don't think we heard any noise from corridors or next door rooms. Couldn't fault anything really, the Breakfast buffet was overwhelming, so much to chose from I defy anyone not to find something they like. We ate 3 times in the evening buffet, again couldn't fault it, twice we ate at Milos, just outside the resort, lovely friendly service great Greek food and I recommend taking a taxi into Lindos for an evening meal on a roof top restaurant looking over the acropolis. Taxi into Lindos booked via hotel was 15euro coming home 9 euro. Had a lovely day at St Pauls Bay to break the monotony of the hotel pool and a couple of times down at hotel beach, which again was lovely but stony rather than sandy. Wasn't really busy, but there were a couple of families that monopolised the main swimming pool for the first couple of days, when they went it was more pleasant, but there are two other small pools to go to or the beach. If I was going back to Lindos I would stay here again, but apparently their newer hotel resorts, Platinum and Prestige at different resorts are supposed to better maybe because they are newer and we were offered to spend a couple of days there but we wanted to be in Lindos rather than North of the island. Overall can't fault hotel or staff.
Very nice resort with a great rocky beach. Water is crystal clear.
Superb hotel
Close to the beach, great choice of restaurants, very friendly staff. A great hotel to stay in. Very nice surprise when upgraded
Nice hotel
Was there for a wedding in Lindos. Turned up from a late flight and reception were great even giving us a lift to our hotel room in a golf buggy. Great location to relax during the week. Nice rooms even if a little basic but really clean place. Good breakfast too with plenty of choice.
Overpriced.
Hotel not as good as portrayed. Many of the photos used are of areas that are either for private use by those staying in villas or of facilities that are not included in the price e.g. the spa. Also I had a booked a double room but got a twin room, and a pair of shorts went missing from my room (as I was on my own they could only have been taken by a member of staff). Finally, there were never enough staff on duty at breakfast (I stayed on a B&B basis so cannot comment on other meal times).Other than that staff were very friendly, hotel was spotlessly clean, and the hotel mini market was excellent. But it's not a 5 star. A good 4 star but no more than that.
Fabulous pools
We had a week at the Atrium Palace and found from the moment we got off the coach till we were back on the coach the staff were outstanding in their service. There is a main pool which although popular was never really busy, despite it being August. We preferred the smaller pool but we were pleasantly surprised to find 3 smaller pools, an indoor pool and a kids pool. The rooms were a good size and were cleaned beautifully. Nice touch with the turning down service! Although the food at the hotel was great with an amazing selection, we ventured to some of the restaurants around the resort. Although few and far between they were great and again the service brilliant. Not a lot to do around but a bus service is just on the main road. We took a taxi to Lindos town and it was a nice change, more lively but we loved the peace of the hotel, it is a perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the pools. We hope to go back and we have never done that before. A lot of effort to create a lush and green environment. The beach is pebbly but lovely. Well done to the management and staff for ensuring a brilliant holiday.
everything we expected plus more!
Upgraded to pool room, lots of thoughtful extra touches at the wedding we were attending, sparkling wine at breakfast buffet!
Pleasant hotel close to Lindos (10 minutes in a taxi). Some staff are excellent some need a shot of enthusiasm in the backside. Hotel is very good for children and food is of gpood quality though cheaper options outside hotel.
Want to relax completely? This IS the hotel.
Just go (-: There's lots and lots of space...everything is spotless and the gardens are beautiful. If you're a complainer I'm sure you'll find something wrong, if you're not you will have a lovely time. We didn't get involved with anything or anybody else (ie. eve entertainment, water zumba etc)...we found loads of beds by the pool(s) every day (no staking necessary), we got into a lovely routine of frequenting the different tavernas around the hotel for lunch (a better experience than full board) and a late afternoon drink or two shooting the breeze with Pani and Panayiotis at the pool bar. Our teenage girls loved the independence, they could shop in the mini markets (well priced water and picnics for those on a very tight budget!) or order a cold drink themselves (hotel prices are fine). The tavernas are superb for dinner, all staff were just charming. Tim at Milos especially welcoming. Lindos is great fun for a day out and more lovely food- watch out for donkeys who stop for no one (-:...or Haraki for a real Shirley Valentine experience (the table on the beach!) As I said - just go - the cats are charming too, they're not dead, just asleep. And try learning some Greek, its pretty easy and the staff are always delighted with you.
Beautiful Hotel with many plants & flowers
Very friendly & ready to help staff, Services are very good. Facilities are for all customers comfordable. Food excellent!! Clean beach
A place to relax
We stayed at this place on our last week of our 1 month holiday in Greece. We were very happy with our decision with choosing this place. It's very close to Lindos. There are nice beaches close by. You really need a car for this place otherwise you can get stuck at the hotel as the place has a lot to offer - beach, pool bar, entertainment, mini golf, spa etc. We enjoyed this place and highly recommend this place.
Excellent holiday at the Atrium Palace.
We had a great holiday at the Atrium Palace. Family of 5, with 3 teenagers - all of us enjoyed it. The hotel is great, with really friendly staff who were always keen to help. Half Board is good value with excellent quality of food and good variety. Rooms are cleaned daily and the hotel supplies towels for use at the pools. The only draw back was that the evening entertainment was a bit repetitive if you go for more than a week. Worth treating yourself to a day in the Spa if you find the heat a bit overwhelming. There's lots to see on Rhodes and it's worth hiring a car for a couple of days to go round the island.
Wonderful
We stayed at the Atrium Palace Kalathos in mid-June 2011. All parts of the hotel were very well managed and most comfortable. We made plenty of use of the beach which is only 400 yards from the hotel grounds; the swimming pools were many & great but the ocean was perfectly clear and great to swim in & sunbath beside. Our room was better than expected with a great view of the resort & the ocean in the background. The breakfast Bistro had a huge range of tasty foods and it was difficult to maintain self-control from gluttony! We used local tavernas (all within a short walk) for our evening meals and were pleasantly surprised with both the food & the friendly service. We used the local bus service to get to Lindos (10 minutes; €2.00) and Rhodes (about an hour; €4.50). I'd like to offer some critical negative information but nothing springs to mind. This was the most relaxing holiday we have had for years and I strongly recommend it.
A relaxing break
We enjoyed our stay at the resort and found it very relaxing as a small break from a longer holiday exploring Greece and France. The buildings were older and looked a little tired but the gardens, pool area and restaurants were all excellent. We enjoyed the evening meals we ate at the 2 restaurants. We had a car so were able to easily acess Lindos and the surounding areas.
Nice time!
Had an amazing time in Rhodes. Though the hotel was a 5* it could have been a better standard. Nevertheless it was still very good. There is not much around the complex other than about 3 restaurants. Crazy golf is not great! Lindos is the closest town which is about 10 mins by cab - 14 Euro's to get there and 9 Euro's to get back! During the day you can take a bus which is quite reliable. Staff at hotel reception are very friendly. There is a shop on site which is very good. They will iron your clothes but will not provide you with an iron :( Overall still very good ....can't wait to go back!!!!!
OK place but be aware of a few things
This is actually an all-inclusive place - although you can book it as a regular hotel (which is what we did). Lots of Russian tourists and families there. The beach is rocks - but there is a good sandy beach a few miles away - you need a car. The hotel is a little shabby and single beds are crazy. Good view of the ocean and nice pool setup.
Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort
Terrible service and not great hotel. How can they have 5*? Please do not pay the extra for a Junior Suite, what disppointment!!!
Wonderful holiday at this hotel
We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would go back to stay if in Rhodes again. breakfast was superb and staff very friendly and helpful. the only complaint we have is that the beds were too hard for us. Restaurants within 2 minutes walk were exceptional.
Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas | Hotel in Rhodes | Travala.com
To put this review in context: we booked 4 days before travelling, the room had its own pool and we were all inclusive with premium upgrade. We went for a 10 day rest so did not venture ouyt of the hotel at all. Everything was excellent and less than one hour from Rhodes airport. Well done to the manager and all his staff. Brilliant!
