Great location just off the beach

Spent 2 nights in Agia Marina which is very centrally located and close to the beach. 2 minute walk. Staff are lovely, kind and willing to help. Many restaurants available to choose from and very reasonable priced. Room was clean, spacious and had a nice terrace balcony.

Had lovely time the cocktail we sent back as it was awful but apart from that everything was fine

Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel in a really good location. Near to bars, restaurants and bus stop to get into Chania Town. Stayed in superior room overlooking the pool, could not fault it. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel but shouldn’t be classified as 4 stars. The room layout is strange as the bathroom is open into the bedroom, also the hotel doesn’t have a gym or parking and the breakfast buffet is very average. The staff were all lovely and the hotel is in a great location. Should really be a 3 star hotel.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Good location and nice hotel. Was B&B only breakfast ok a bit more choice would have been nice. Room was adequate, it had a fridge and kettle but no tea or coffee did ask at reception and was told they did not provide these and we would have to purchase from the supermarket. Also not enough coat hangers again asked at reception for some more and again was told to purchase them from the supermarket. Bathroom needs up dating but was clean and adequate. Pool area nice and Anna in the restaurant was friendly and helpful, we booked a couple of trips through her which were cheaper than doing outside the hotel.

Excellent hotel and staff, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. All staff members were very courteous. I sprained my ankle while on an excursion and the hotel staff were extremely helpful in contacting the doctor's office, calling a cab, escorting me from my room to the cab....all was handled promptly, within minutes of my requesting to be seen by a physician. I was also impressed with the physicians who examined me. I would recommend and stay there again in the future.

Great location and overall ok

The room supposed to have one double and one twin room but instead we got a single and a twin plus cot which was large and good for our boy. Our room had amazing big balcony but one night the entertainment was so loud we had to call reception.. Their response was not great but they did turn it down a bit.. Needless to say we were overtired at that point and did not sleep until 1am. Then our little one was very restless and in the morning we complained to reception again..but there was nothing they could really do. Anyway..hotel overall is nice day in a great location.. What we also were disappointed with is wifi.. We could not connect to their wifi at all.. So we ended up using our data...breakfast is ok.. Hardly any fruit..

We greeted, in our room, with a basket of fruit and two small bottles of wine. Nice touch! The room was fairly large; we made it better by re-arranging the table and chairs. Those are the pluses. The hotel has Many stairs, and many different levels; not so great if you have a knee problem. The hotel has a large pool; looks quite lovely. They are also a block from the beach. They have NO in-room hairdryer?? Too odd! We were there during an Horendous rain storm. So bad, we could not get the rental car out of the lot! It was the day we were to check out, and they were kind enough to let us stay several hours past noon. All in all, the hotel was nice enough. So many walkway, rough paths, balconies overlooking each other, made the hotel quite noisy. I suppose it's not too bad in summer, when everyone has their doors closed and air conditioning on.

Hotel was absolutely fantastic. Rooms were always clean. the pool area was excellent. and the pool bar was top class for food and drinks. only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Hotel was very nice and staff very helpful. Nothing was a problem. Anna was great with local info. Breakfast was lovely and varied a little each day. Children's pool ideal too

Amazing stay

Beautiful hotel really close to the beach and a tonne of restaurants. The rooms are modern and nice and the pool is huge and spectacular. It's also at a perfect location near lots of restaurants and fun activites and it's really easy to catch a bus to get into Chania city (25 minutes by bus), which I did most days.

Nice Hotel in Agia Marina, Chania, Crete

Nice hotel, good location a few minutes from main road and access to Agia Marina Beach, restaurants, shops and super markets. Helpful and efficient staff. Large and clean swimming pool. Hotel was spotless in all areas. Thank you Anna and your team for a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

Nice comfortable hotel

Great hotel smooth process checking in and out. Nice pool everything you want from beach to places to eat all within walking distance. Only negative was the confusion of finding their parking area. You need to study the damn paper they give you to find it. Three straight lefts down a dirt road, another left, find the fork, left at the a fig tree...you get the idea. Coming late at night after a long drive that's the last thing you want. They should spend a few bucks and find somewhere easier for their customers. Other than that- no issues

Amazing stay

Hotel Atrion was an amazing stay. Anna at reception was incredible offering amazing customer service prior to arrival and throughout our stay. Hotel was relatively quiet due to it being out of season but still had food service. Rooms were very clean, with change of bedding occurring every other day however when requested rooms would be cleaned again. Excellent stay.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

The hotel is close (walking distance) to the beach and plenty of shops/restaurants in the area. The breakfast was excellent, the food fresh, the breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. The main hotel staff is very accommodating, as I needed to extend my stay for one day and they were able to reshuffle to keep us in same room. The hotel provides parking but requires you to push a button to call reception to open gate whether you're going in or out. This procedure almost made us miss our fight as there was no one at reception to open gate for us to exit parking on our last day as they had stepped out.

Disappointed with the Hotel

This hotel was one of the options as part of a friends wedding weekend. We had some very serious health issues arise and contacted the hotel a couple days in advance to cancel the reservation/refund. They refused to do this. Regardless of policies, there is a certain level of Greek hospitality you expect. No one plans on the emergencies, and if they handle these types of situations in this manner, I can only imagine how they would handle other situations. I'm very disappointed and they are welcome to contact me if they would like specifics.

Reasonable hotel, close to beach

Not a bad hotel - but not outstanding. Staff were helpful, but not quite as welcoming and friendly as I might like (and we experienced elsewhere on Crete). Room was comfortable. Plenty of car parking - but a little awkward to get to, both driving and walking from the hotel reception and rooms. Our tariff was half board, so included buffet breakfast and evening meal. Both were perfectly acceptable, and included some variety each day, and from day to day. Hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from Agia Marina beaches, which are expansive and clean, with plenty of bars, etc. We did struggle to find the hotel - it is exactly where it is shown on their location maps, but is about 50m along a side road off the main road through Agia Marina. Sat Nav took us to the main road at precisely the right location, but from the car no signs were visible. The road it is on runs up from the main road beside a petrol station at some traffic lights.

Majoituspaikka oli todella siisti, hotellihuone oli moderni ja vasta remontoitu. Huone siivottiin jokapäivä. Uima-allas alue oli todella hyvä ja viihtyisä, ja allas oli iso. Aamiainen oli laaja, valinnanvaraa oli riittävästi. Illallinen oli sen sijaan pettymys,ruokavalikoima oli suppea ja vain paikallista ruokaa. Kreikkalainen ilta oli poikkeus,silloin valikoima oli laajempi.

Vi blev mycket vänligt mottagna när vi kom ,väldigt fin pool, poolområde. Fin frukost, och att alla boende respekterade typ att poolen stänger vid visst klockslag . Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende. Återkommer gärna.

Kohtuullinen ja ok

Hyvä majoitus. Ruokailut aamiaisella hyvät, päivällinen ok. Vaihtelua olisi saanut olla enemmän ja myös lapsia olisi voinut ottaa enemmän huomioon. Ilmastointi reistasi koko loman ajan vaikka siitä sanottiin useita kertoja. Hiukan meluinen kadunpuoleinen majoitus. Ja ne kreikkalaiset sängyt. Milloin niistä saisi paremmat!? Aina ilman petareita ja viikon siinä nukuttua alkoi olla jo tosi ikävä kotiin. Olkapäät pistoksilla ja lonkat kipeinä aina näistä. Panostakaa hotellit enemmän sänkyihin! Lomalle tullaan lepäämään ja palautumaan arjesta-uni on osa sitä.

Struttura ben tenuta con molti servizi qualche volta non sempre attivi (bar della piscina che chiudeva prima del previsto, le bevande a pagamento non venivano proposte a cena oppure venivano portate con ritardo e non si è notato alcun luogo dove vi fossero presenti informazioni turistiche). Camera molto bella e chic con qualche difetto da migliorare (manca nella doccia un supporto per appoggiare il bagno doccia e le spugne, l'acqua della doccia esce nel bagno quando si fa scorrere un po' l'acqua, il lavabo del bagno non contiene l'acqua quando si apre il rubinetto un po' di più). Offerta commerciale e ristoranti variegati di buona qualità a prezzi accessibili. Mare non dei migliori rispetto ad altre zone e non sempre balneabile (su 10 giorni di soggiorno solo per 5 giorni è stato possibile andare in mare a causa del mare agitato con conseguenti bandiere rosse). Lettini a pagamento € 3 in questo periodo, con servizio bar incluso.

Very nice hotel with amazing staff

Great location, multiple good restaurants and mini markets nearby. 5 minutes walk to the beach, and super friendly staff!! This hotel is used also by several travel agencies who arrange flight+hotel trips to Hania. The breakfast is varied and good, and the pool is big and clean. They also have swimming toys guests can borrow while at the pool. Rooms are spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. We had a balcony with a view to the pool which was nice. The bed and pillows were a bit too hard for us but that's probably the only negative.

Well worth it

Very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms - and close to everything you want. The back garden is also surprisingly nice, with several sun beds and a decent swimming pool. Would have appreciated shower gel, but that might not be normal for apartment hotels for all I know.

Fint hotell og god beliggenhet

Fint beliggende hotell med kort avstand til alt, men alikevell rolig og stille gate. God service i resepsjonen med hjelp det meste man trenger. God frokost med bra utvalg. OK bassengområde med Pool bar. Litt lite solsenger men det spiller ikke så stor rolle siden stranden er fantastisk fin og ligger 5 min unna. Bra størrelse på rommet, gode senger, og ikke minst et godt fungerende AirCondition anlegg. Vi hadde balkong mot basseng med skygge på kvelden, kan anbefales. For det meste Skandinaviske gjester, noen man finner mer en nok av i Agia Marina. Skulle vi ønsket en forbedring måtte det være på Wifi som ikke fungerte optimalt for oss. Alt i alt et veldig fint hotell som absolutt kan anbefales.

Osa henkilökunnasta olisi sopinut paremmin muuhun työhön kuin asiakaspalveluun. Iltaruoka keskivertoa, harmitti kun ostimme puolihoidon. Parina iltana jäimme ilman ruokajuomia, kun kukaan ei tullut kysymään tilausta...pitäisi olla enemmän henkilökuntaa! Aurinkopetit oli tietty varattu jo anivarhain pyyhkeellä, mutta sehän ei ole hotellin vika. Ilmastointilaite räpätti äänekkäästi aina kun se jäähdytti kylmemmäksi-pyynnöstä huolimatta asia ei korjaantunut

Skønt hotel med god beliggenhed tæt på strand og hyggelige restauranter. Morgenmaden er lidt kedelig, men det er bestemt muligt at blive mæt. Hotelpersonalet er super søde og hjælpsomme. Hotellet egnet sig i øvrigt ikke til gangbesværede, da der er mange trapper.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen . Etwas wenig Liegen und Liegeplatz am Pool. Duschvorhang zu kurz, beim Duschen wurde das ganze Bad überschwemmt. Ausreichende Essensauswahl

心地の良い「カリメーラ」

宿泊施設の性格上、長期滞在者が多いようで、特にドイツ語圏の方が多かったです。レストランで朝食を摂っていると「ここはドイツか？」と思うくらいドイツ語が耳に入ってきました。レストランで受付兼ウェイトレスをされているおばちゃんが「カリメーラ（おはよう）」とにこやかに挨拶してくださるのが非常に心地よかったです。クレタ島を後にする朝には「今日は最終日ね」と英語で寂しそうに声をかけて下さったときには、こちらも少し寂しく感じました。本当に朝食の時にしか会わなかったのですが・・・。ホテルのロケーションも繁華街（？）から少し離れていて静かでよかったです。海水浴シーズンからは少しずれていたので遊泳はしませんでしたが、海水浴場も目と鼻の先なので海水浴シーズンに訪れるとにぎやかなのもしれません。

God familieferie

Atrion Hotel var en virkelig god ramme for vores familieferie. Værelserne var i god stand og der blev gjort rent på værelserne hver dag(selv om søndagen). Personalet var venlige og servicemindet. Poolen var lækker og faciliteterne i det hele taget i top

Ottimo Hotel tra Chania e Platanias

Hotel molto bene strutturato. Grande piscina da 25x11m profonda fino a 3,20m. Colazione abbondante e varia. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Struttura piuttosto moderna. Molto comodo come posizione: vicinissimo a spiagge organizzate (6€ x 1 ombrellone e 2 lettini), circondato da innumerevoli ristoranti per la cena, ma comunque molto tranquillo e silenzioso; a 15 minuti in auto dal centro di Chania e a 45min dalla splendida Falassarna. Per noi, che adoriamo il mare, ma che quando è sera, cerchiamo sempre un posticino nuovo per cenare possibilmente senza fare chilometri è stata la scelta ideale.

Great hotel with mediocre food

The hotel was very good with a nice big pool and close to the beach, 5 min away max. Good size rooms with great cleaning. The only thing was the food. Breakfast ok-ish. I would recommend not to eat dinner there and go to one of many great restaurants around the corner.
