Best place in Cusco

Beautiful room incredible service. Started with numerous different gifts like a bottle of wine and cookies, house slippers. Offered me an upgrade and gave me a sweet with a few of the night time City state. Excellent view. The breakfast was exceptional the room was comfortable and modern. Customer service was fantastic. And gave me a Parting Gift of a little pin with a Spanish senora and senorita. The price was well worth and this was a five star experience

Amazing property with the most caring staff

Our stay at Atoq San Blas was amazing! We checked in late at night and were greeted extremely well by Melinda at the front desk! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth check-in experience, and that we were taken care of nicely. After an amazing night, the breakfast experience was pure joy. Chef Aderson and his colleague Maereala were extremely kind, caring, and helpful. They made sure everything was fresh and ready for our breakfast! And lastly, Anna at the front desk made sure that our check out experience was smooth. We had the best experience of our stay in Cusco at Atoq San Blas. We would highly recommend this property for your future stay.

The staff where very friendly and prompt to assist with anything we may need The property is en perfect condition the owners took care of every little detail all around the hotel from reception to hallways to rooms and bathroom been far away from home it make us feel very welcome I am convince you won’t find many places like this in the area Sadly enough the hotel need a restaurant where you can have a small dinner after a long day hiking

Wonderful place and the staff one of the best I encountered

Easy and nice

Great location. But be prepared to walk up a street to get to the the hotel entrance. The room we had felt a little cramped. Not much room to move around. Sink in the bathroom did not drain so we had to get it fixed. Heater did not work so they arranged a portable heater. Breakfast was pretty good.

the breakfast is good and clean. Our room was not cleaned well when we checked in. The closet had garbage and dust on it. there were no hand towels, the front desk guy opologized and was very helpful.

From the friendly service, to the quiet environment, to the close proximity to restaurants, stores, and tourist attractions, when I come back to Cusco Peru – and I will be coming back – I will only use this hotel!

The hotel is great. It's in a quiet area and has a great view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue is access. The roads are very narrow and sometimes cars get stuck in traffic jams. Getting to other places isn't bad, but walking back to the hotel is rougher because it's at the top of a very big hill. Overall a great experience though!

Boutique hotel with friendly staff who are very attentive and helpful. I had a great time! The neighborhood is great but be mindful that you will have to trek up a hill to get to it. Worth it as it has an incredible outdoor area. Would definitely stay here again should I find myself in Cusco.

Very thoughtful gestures like leaving welcome notes, very clean room, great experience overall. Its a steep up hill walk from Plaza de Armas, so keep that in mind.

Home away from home

Upon arriving, the gentleman at the front desk was warm and inviting. He offered us coca tea and showed us to our room. He made sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. It was a wonderful personable touch. The room was huge with the biggest king bed I have ever seen. The views of Cusco were the cherry on top. Breakfast was plentiful and the free coca tea station really helped us acclimate to the altitude. Really peaceful music in the lobby made Atoq feel like a home away from home. Lovely stay.

MY honest review: STAY AWAY! I will not stay here ever again and will not recommend it to anyone. This place is not an easy walk from Plaza de Armas. The walk is uphill the entire time from the main square. It is very difficult for taxi drivers to get to and from the hotel due to the narrow streets. So do not count on a taxi- you will need to walk at an incline. One taxi driver told me they all hated going up there because the streets are narrow. Also, if you have any tours, you will need to walk quite a bit to get to your pick up-again, due to the narrow streets. It’s a hassle. The staff is alright. The people next door were fighting the entire time so didn’t get any sleep-the walls do not block any sound so you can hear everything! Only good thing about this place was…. The room cleaning service.

Too many steps to take to get back to hotel from historical part of town as we are over 60 years of age & have problems with high altitude sickness. Otherwise a nice hotel & staff are very friendly.

This is a very lovely hotel and the staff are very friendly. It's exceeding our expectations for a three star hotel. The facilities are new and comfortable. Breakfast is very good. There is a nice city view outside of the romm window. Definitely recommend it!

Best Hotel Experience in Cusco

We absolutely loved this hotel. The view was amazing and, although located in a very popular neighborhood, the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was delicious. They had everything we could need and even packed us a to-go breakfast bag when we left early for activities. Would recommend this hotel 100%.

Laundry facility near by for reasonable price that dilivered to the hotel. Cars could get to the hotel, but buses for excursions had to pick up just down the hill. Overall good location and would recommend to anyone staying in Cusco.

Nonetheless, considering the overall experience, it presents excellent value for money.

I have to say that this hotel was the best hotel we have stayed at for many reasons. The staff was attentive and helpful. Upon arrival, our son had altitude sickness. Ana was so helpful. The breakfast was amazing as was the location and the boutique feel of the hotel. On new years they left streamers and decor for our son. I highly recommend staying here ! We hope to be back some day.

Great location, great service, room was very clean and comfortable. Close to saksaywaman and some plazas. We were able to extend Just half day because of our bus left at night. Breakfast service was good, but not too many options. If you are staying longer you may get bored with the breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at Atoq. The staff were really kind and supportive. We loved the area, so many beautiful shops and great restaurants. We loved that it’s removed from the hustle of the plaza though that area is easily accessible (just walk slow and breath deeply coming up the hill on your way back!)

Location is a short walk to the main square but take note this place sits on the hills of San Blas away from noise and traffic so after a long trek or excursion, this place is your sanctuary.

Loved staying here. EXCEPTIONAL staff that is very attentive. They stored our luggage for several days while we hiked the Inka Trail and had our bags back in our room when we returned. The staff was amazing! They were so helpful for anything that was needed they were on it amd not even bothered by it. The breakfast was good. They even offered to give me a breakfast for my flight even though I was leaving before breakfast hours. The location is good too. Literally at 7min or so walk to Plaza Las Armas. It's in the San Blas Area do a frame of reference for me is Venice California area or Silverlake.... hipster vibes which divine. Definitely would enjoy staying there again. They were so sweet for my birthday they brought me a cupcake and it was delicious. It's the little things.

This is not your average 3 star hotel. The staff at this hotel is fantastic and make you feel like you are staying at a much fancier hotel. The location is great, 5-10 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas and with a great view over Cusco (be warned, that to get to the hotel you have to go up a hill or some stairs). Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cusco.

Loved our stay at Atoq

We are so happy with the Atoq Hotel. The staff was excellent and very helpful with everything. They helped us with booking our tours with a reputable company (Cusco Inside Travel Group). We also got breakfast to-go bags when we left early for our excursions. The hotel is clean and well kept. We were able to help ourselves to cacao tea to help with the altitude. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruits and you have a variety to choose from. Everything is close by. I also felt safe and a staff is always at the front desk to answer any questions.
