The suites are great and very clean a mirror would off been nice in the bedroom though. Staff were friendly and helpful would definitely stay here again.

Love love this place. I go to Romania 2-3 times a year and only stay in this hotel. Is clean , quite and feels u are home because is so much space. Very convenient that there is a restaurant downstairs and you can have breakfast and other meals . staff are very friendly and helpful.

It’s a safe area in fairly good walking distance to many points of interest. Plus, you have very good restaurants around. Was a pleasant surprise.

Great hotel, especially if you travel with family! Staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and all were delicious.

It was truly an apartment hotel. All the amenities of an apartment with a 24 hour front desk and room service available. They also provide coffee and tea which is a plus. The apartment was great and in a great location. I will stay there for all my future trips!

Athina Suites Bucharest

Fantastic room, great breakfast, what more can i say, 5 stars

We stayed here our first night in Romania and were made welcome by a nice desk clerk who spoke great English. Our room was on the 6th floor and was much larger than we anticipated (with a separate living room and kitchenette). The room was very quiet and the air conditioning worked great. The bathroom didn’t have lots of counter space but was otherwise great with plentiful hot water and pressure and provided wash cloths. We added breakfast at the neighboring restaurant and liked the selections on their buffet which included pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurt, cereals, coffee and tea.

Short break away with family to visit Therme. Was a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the breakfast.

Comfortable stay in Bucharest

Enjoyable stay in Bucharest, close to centre but away from noise and busy streets. Comfortable, modern and large suite with all the amenities you’d need. Good breakfast choice available. Would stay again.

Property is lovely. It is a bit far from the center. 10 minute to center; 1/2 hour to old town. When inquiring about the old town, the receptionist responded that the area itself was old, which is true as all of Europe is old. However, the walk to the center and old town was not difficult - no hills/up-down.

Super Apartment Suites in Bucharest

We had a great 10-night stay at the Athina Suites Hotel Bucharest. Our apartment (A lifestyle double room with balcony) was extremely nice and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and the staff did everything they could to help us during our stay. Special thanks to Alexandra on reception, Dana from the management team, Olga from Housekeeping and the entire Restaurant staff who kindly looked after us. Everything worked well from the moment we arrived. The apartment was much larger than expected with a great living space, comfortable chair and sofa plus a really nice balcony to sit and relax. The Kitchen area is nicely separated by a room divider with a well-equipped kitchen small table offering a real home from home experience. A beautiful separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed plus a wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. The house keeping team were very attentive and provided us with extra cooking utensils and ensured the apartment was always cleaned to a high standard daily. In addition to the apartment itself there is also a nice restaurant on the ground floor that serves an impressive breakfast, plus meals throughout the day which we took full advantage of in order to save time in the mornings. There are many supermarkets nearby and a short walk from Piata Romana square and two metro lines M1 and M2 providing easy access to the city and its main points of interest Well done to a great team who worked effortlessly together

What a hidden gem! Go for a two bedroom unit if you want an incredible amount of spotlessly clean space! Wonderful nearby restaurants (including the tiny Italian place right next door… homemade pasta, amazing meats, cheeses, and wines). About 2.5 miles from old town, so walkable if you like to walk. So comfortable and relaxing, we’d stay here again any time. Loved it.

Great stay

We had a great stay and would stay again. The room we had was a good size with a large balcony. Everything was clean. The maids were friendly and trustworthy. They did an excellent job. It was also nice and quiet. We stayed 4 nights, if we could make a suggestion it would be to vary the breakfast, perhaps a gluten free option. Although there was a good variety of meats and eggs and breads. If we had an issue it was the coffee machine at breakfast, it never seemed to work right, or have any milk or cream.

Great room, we loved the amount of space we had and the terrace was an added bonus

I travel quite a bit and have stayed in many hotels. This place is one of the best, offering apartment like accommodations for the same price as a hotel room. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for many activities. I will stay here every time I visit Bucharest!

Loved the Athina Suites Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and were so impressed by the modern spacious and bright rooms, exceptional cleanliness, helpful staff and the food was superb.

Lovely modern spacious hotel suite. Cleanliness perfect. Friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend and come again. Only thing was getting ripped off by a shark airport taxi so beware if they turn the meter away from you. Other than that everything spot on.

Amazing room, just as a recommendation a tv in the bedroom will make the experience even better.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room. Was very spacious and bed very comfortable. However it is not as described location is not clise to anything or no public transport links required alot of taxis and difficulty getting around

The 2 bedroom 1-1/2 bathroom set up is great. The kitchen and living room were appropriately sized and the large balcony was an added bonus. Room service was easy and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant has good food and their staff is very friendly as well. The parking garage is a little tight to maneuver around, but our medium sized SUV fit.

Excellent place

It’s a great very large 1 bedroom apartment with balcony and kitchen. I would have gave it 5 stars if it had the TV in the bedroom (it was only in the livingroom) and the ceiling lights weren’t working in the bedroom. But the property is extremely clean and the stuff very friendly. Also the parking is very tight. I think this place would be great for a long stay.

Great value rooms

We were very impressed with the Athina. It was a great value for staying in the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is tucked in a predominately residentlial neighborhood with plenty of activity nearby. Using uber/taxis, it was economical base for exploring the city and surroundings.

Excellent breakfast.

Situated within a walking distance from the city center in a nice residential area, the hotel is very modern and well maintained. Good restaurant with delicious food. Very friendly staff all ready to help to make yoir stay a memorable one.

The staff was complacent at best. Didnt seem all that interested in the guests or helping. Left my key in the room and thought i had lost it. The hotel was going to charge 15 Euro for a card that can be purchased for $0.20. Ive never encountered a hotel that does that. Twrrible policy.

The entire staff was wonderful and kind and friendly. They were very helpful with anything I asked. The restaurant was excellent and the location is really nice and was close enough to walk to many of the places I wanted to go. I will definitely stay here again if it is available when I go again. Love you guys!!!

Great rooms, staff, breakfast, restaurant. An excellent place to relax or work from. The view from the balcony is not impressive, but that is minor. Location is okay, street parking is not an option mostly. I would highly recommend and plan to return

Love this place! That was my second time staying there for few weeks. You have everything you need it for short or long stay. Also, internet was pretty good and I was able to work remotely.

Great location: central yet quiet. Standard room was spacious and comfortable with very large balcony. Open shower means water splashes out constantly; sink draned clogged. Other than that rather clean. Parking underfround hotel is always convenient in Bucharest. Staff and service... was decent. Breakfast menu could be improved.

Has difference with last year, but still is good hotel. Bath need to be a little repairing, dinner doesn't have a lot of choice.

Very nice apartment type hotel. Kitchen in the room, fridge, hob and microwave available, makes your stay non-dependable on restaurants and diners, although the hotel has great restaurant and bar. The hotel is located on quiet small street but close to city center. Clean, good housekeeping and friendly staff makes the hotel great place to stay for decent price. Will definitely recommend it to others.

BEST place to stay, so amazing, so wonderful. Suite was gigantic, plenty of room, big kitchen, big living room, big bedroom, TONS of storage. Huge balcony off the bedroom and living room. Restaurant on the main floor with lots of good options.

The room was quiet (side opposite to street), clean and new, and very spacious. The hotel is in a convenient location, with a short walk or public transportation trip to the center of the city.

Very spacious and clean, quiet although centrally located. I wish there was a gym or that access to a gym was offered.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Athina Suites. We could not have had a better experience. The staff, from front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were spectacular !!!!!! The hotel was beautiful, roomy and very clean! Will stay with them again The only thing I am not happy about and I only noticed it when I got home was that I was charged 90.00 Lei for early check in when in fact I paid for Aug 4 to 17, and did not arrive until 1200 on the 5 of august so I did not check in early as I had already paid for the 4 th and did not use the room. Please contact me regarding this matter. I still think this was a wonderful hotel and will use it every time I come to Buckarest. Thank you Christine Haggarty
