My stay was wonderful, keep up the good work

Just ok. Location is a little sketchy.

As much as the rooms were very clean, their bleach fumes were so strong for my husband and i. We felt like our nose hairs were burned:). Our view was not like what was pictured. Hotel is located in a small alley off the beaten path. Easy to walk to center town, though.

Fantastic location, friendly staff. Rooms are small but clean. Hot water can be limited while showering, but manageable. Would recommend.

Very good location at this hotel and close to the metro station and close to the the historical centre of Athens. Basic quality breakfast with a small selection of food that ran out if you did not arrive early enough. They start closing without giving you any notice whilst you are still eating breakfast. Very poorly designed bathroom with an open shower causing water to spill everywhere. I nearly fell on the slippery floor one time. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pillows gave us neck ache. The lights kept flickering. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful. Managers were quite argumentative when we complained about the facilities and did not apologise for the inconvenience. We asked for a partial refund or discount for the poor quality of room but they refused abruptly. For what we paid this was not worth it, should have stayed elsewhere.

I would have given 5 stars if it were accessible by car. The drop off is on the main street and have to walk to the property and not easily visible from the no-car street.

The hotel is up a side street so is very quiet which is a bonus as the hotels on the main streets are very noisy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The kettle in our room couldn’t be plugged in - as we were only staying one night this wasn’t an issue but if staying longer , we would have wanted one. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection is huge and very good too. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at the hotel.

New modern hotel within walking distance to Monastraki station. Staff were friendly.

I booked two seperate rooms on two separate occasions. The second room was on the 5th floor. It had beautiful tile floors. The hotel is located in a great place for seeing the sights. Breakfast was awesome. The staff are winderful! The bed.. a litte firm for my taste. Overall, it's a great olace to stay, especially for the price.

I like the area because it's close to downtown and shopping areas. I did not like the bathroom because there is no door or shower curtain to prevent wetting the floor. And no AC on the lobby and it's so warm this time here in Athens.

The staff are very helpful. The property itself is a good location for the tourist as it is located close to Syntagma square and you can just stroll around and enjoy the restaurants and stores close to the property.

Beautiful rooms, nice breakfast. Only difficult thing was that it was on a pedestrian street so taxis could not pick us up or drop us off right in front. We were able to store our luggage there while we explored.

Great Bang For The Buck

It's not fancy, but you get what you pay for. The bottom line is, you will not make a mistake staying here. The rooms are simple and the bed could have been a bit softer for my taste. The rooms are cleaned well. Breakfast is awesome and the staff is great as too. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It is located in a very convient spot for both seeing the sights and getting here on the metro train from the airport.

Overall everything was very good. Just the size of bed wasn't what was listed.

Clean room and comfy bed. There was construction going on around the area so it was very loud in the morning. The hotel is close to the train station to the airport and to main attraction areas. Nice breakfast buffet. Amazing staff.

I had a good experience at this hotel. Staff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast is excellent with many options!!. My room was good, nice air conditioner and comfortable bed but shower was weird. It has a bad design and water leaked outside. Location is nice, close to everything!!

Good place for one night stay. Staff are helpful, breakfast is great. The issue is that the room is too crowed for three person with one queen bed plus one single sofa bed. There was no chair in the room(actually no extra place for a chair in the room).

Wry close and walkable , close to mansteraki square, which we really enjoyed. They changed our room for the last night, and Huch looked dungy. The staff are all amazing, thanks to all of them

Great location!!

Very small room but super close to everything which makes it a great stay. You aren't much in your room so size doesn't matter too much, was still clean and comfortable. The gentleman at reception was also great. Super helpful!! Let us leave our luggage since we were too early for checkin, showed us all the spots around the city to check out and also helped us get the acropolis tour tickets on the correct store so we didn't spend extra. :)

This is not as spacious as the website photos make it out to be. The rooms were clean but not super clean. The breakfast had great options but most of the food was cold.

Everything was just fine. Stayed here on our last night in Athens before heading home. There’s nothing wrong with this hotel, but nothing fantastic either. Beds were comfortable but could have done with more pillows, and there’s a glass door to the bathroom which I personally hated.

the staff even gave us breakfast boxes because we were leaving early. Recommended!

Check in was very helpful & welcoming as we arrived around 2am in Athens which was unfamiliar to us. Breakfast included excellent quality and delicious.AC in room. Nice clean lobby. Walking distance to Acropolis. The front office helped us with calling taxi cab at 5 am and even provided us with a breakfast food box for the travel!😊. We highly recommend this hotel in Athens.

Only 6 inches around the bed to move, very tiny ro

The staff and hotel were very nice and centrally located however the room was unbearably small. As one person it was too small. There was only 6 inches around the whole bed to try to maneuver. It was so narrow you don’t have enough width to even open the suitcase. Only 6 inch shelves. I would not return

Located on a quiet side street but 5 minute walk to the bustling Monastiraki metro and shopping area, and 20-25 minutes to the Acropolis site, depending on your speed. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast served downstairs from the lobby had nice variety and some delicious, homestyle offerings. Not in a touristy location, which was fine for us and kept shopping and meals affordable. Would recommend and stay again :)

very convenient location, staff was very helpful, and the jetted tub was heaven. unfortunately, the room was never cool enough and the pillows are hard as a rock. worth the price though.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was convenient to all the things to see in the area by walking, quiet, and clean. Mostly we loved how kind and welcoming the staff were. They were extremely helpful in giving tips for navigating the area and answering all our questions.

Very close to the city's center.

The shower did not have a door and as a result the water sprayed outside in the bathroom. Also the breakfast starts at 8a whch is a little late as the tours start around the same time so could not have breakfast.

Staff were great… the breakfast was also great. Only complaint was the lack of quality air conditioning in our room. (However, friends in other rooms did not experience this issue) Would definitely recommend, good value for the price point.

Good location

This hotel had a great location. It was on a quiet street but right in the middle of everything! The breakfast would have been good, but they rarely restocked the food or the dishes/cups so that you could eat/drink the food provided. The room was okay. There was no window, but a skylight. The skylight didn’t have an associated shade, so when the sun got up, so did we. There also wasn’t a door to the bathroom, so there was no privacy from the room to the main bathroom (minus the toilet which had a stall door). Thus the room was better suited for a couple rather than a family.

The staff was extremely friendly, and ready to help to make the best of your trip. Only complainer was that mattress was not comfortable.

well located, all the local sites within an easy walk, few minutes from the metro. Clean, friendly, & the breakfast was tasty every morning with the added bonus it was FREE !! All in all if you’re not looking for somewhere too fancy stay here, it’s comfortable, clean, friendly, & although tucked away off the main street once you know where to find it that’s not an issue. Would happily recommend, & stay again if coming to Athens

It’s a small hotel but rooms were big. Overall it’s clean but the shower has a bad design. Water will be all over the floor. Staff were friendly and helpful, arranged taxi from airport and to the cruise terminal for us! Breakfast was included and has a lot of choices. Walking distance to everywhere, convenient location!

This was very close to the Monastiraki Sqaure; very convenient.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was a great experience. The staff are super friendly and accommodating! The hotel is in a perfect location with being within walking distance to so many restaurants, bars and top tourists attractions. We absolutely loved our stay at Athens Starlight hotel and would definitely book to stay with them again!

The best part was the fantastic staff, great location. The view wasn’t good but we decided when we booked that wasn’t going to be an issue. I get the impression there are Parthenon views available if you pick fancier room, but the room we had was clean and well appointed. It really is the people and the location that make this hotel so special. So glad we picked Athens Starlight as a place to stay.

Friendly staff recommended superb rooftop dining options! We were allowed to checkout & staff kept watch over our luggage while we took a day tour before heading to the airport. Metro train is just two blocks away from hotel. Clean & convenient. Great breakfast!!

Great location & Breakfasts but poor staff service and the bathroom shower is a mess! Water leaks every time we showered. Besides all these the hotel is close to the city center and very convenient. Not sure if I’d stay here again cuz for tradition I don’t repeat places but I definitely recommend people to try this hotel once. Worth for money you pay.

Stellar service

I had to say excellent because all of the staff, Louis, Jazz and the gentleman that made my coffee prior to breakfast service being available, and the lady who made and set up breakfast, all of them were very very kind and very helpful helping navigate my way throughout Athens. Tiny room but it worked.

Simple place but very comfortable.The staffs from reception, up to the lady in dining area are all friendly and amazing! Simple breakfast everyday but enough to get you get going through out the day. There is a button in the room if you want the room cleaned. Staffs in reception are friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend this place for a short or long stay in Athens accessible to everything from restaurants and shops. Would love to come back to this hotel when we are back in Athens.Thank you to all for a lovely stay!

Great location, friendly staff, okay place to stay

The hotel doesn’t have a lot of frills but it has a great location. The window had been left open so the room had many mosquitoes. When management was noticed they added a mosquito repellent to the room. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

All was perfect, great staff, great breakfast, great location. Only bad thing was three adult room was very small with great queen bed and one small awful hard cot.

Room was smallish but the central location trumps is minor criticism. Staff arranged early morning airport transfer and had a breakfast box to take away

Staff was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond with service. Location is excellent, easy walk to Acropolis and great restaurants nearby.

Small Boutique Hotel

The hotel was very clean but pretty basic. It was nice having a breakfast buffet included each morning. The Hotel is located in a central spot so that you can walk to most points of interest. There was no view of the Acropolis as shown in the photo. The staff was friendly.

The room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have breakfast included. The two desk clerks we interacted with were both very pleasant and helpful, and we were grateful for the assistance they provided with restaurant recommendations, luggage storage, and transportation options. It is a well-run establishment. We would definitely stay there again.
